Came for restaurant week lunch time, first time visit. Very clean establishment including the bathrooms very spacious. The outside looks so good can't wait to come back when it's warmer to try out the deck and more bites/ dinks. I started with the Lemon Basil Donkey suggestion from my server (Manderella) highly recommend this one, I also tried the sunshine and flowers which was really pretty and strong. The Kalua pork lumpia had a great crunch and the sauce compliments it well. The lunch plate with smoked teriyaki chicken was okay but that Mac and cheese slapped with the toasted breadcrumbs and creamy sauce. See y'all soon!

Service was top tier!! The lady at the counter was friendly, helpful and patient. I ordered a couple appetizers. Was super excited about the Kahlúa pork eggrols. Also ordered dumplings. I didn't care for either. I lived in Hawaii 4 years and the pork was plentiful but lacked the distinct kahlua taste. They had JUST opened so maybe that's the reason. Presentation/plating was a 10.

Loved everything about our lunch. Our server, Gules, was extremely knowledgeable and outgoing. She is a delight! The space is large with great visual and sound barriers. Lots of families were enjoying a meal. Our found was served promptly and hot. Everything was excellent. We'll surely be back.

My friends and I decided to meet here for lunch one day :) We were excited to try this place since there isn't many Hawaiian restaurants in the area. We started with cream of crab soup and spam musabi appetizer. The crab soup was good but way too salty! I couldn't even finish it because it got saltier as I was eating it. It also came out root temperature (not even lukewarm). The spam appetizer was really good. 10/10 on that appetizer. For lunch entrees we each got different platters. I got auntie platter I believe which came with teriyaki beef, shoyu chicken, shrimp, veggies, rice and Mac salad. Didn't care for the Mac salad, the veggies were good but mostly bean sprouts? I wish there were more broccoli or snap peas. The chicken was prob the best protein on the plate. The steak was alittle rough and there was only two pieces of shrimp! Overall meal was okay. I guess I expected more? Maybe in the future if we come back I'll try some other entree or sandwich.

This restaurant has a very interesting menu and the smells coming out of the place are mouthwatering. They have a cool outside area with tiki bar. Loved the walls that come down in case of poor weather which we encountered during dinner. The server was very nice. Unfortunately I was a little underwhelmed with the food. We got a few appetizers to share including the spam musubi (which was delicious), kalua pig lumpia (I did not like the taste or texture of this. My friend said it was better with the red chili sauce). The crispy Brussels sprouts (which I was hoping to love but the soy sauce made it overwhelmingly salty!) and the wings (which were standard). Nothing blew me away unfortunately.

Customer Service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - 5 out of 5 Food quality - 4.5 out of 5 My wife brought me to this restaurant for my 39th birthday. Never been here before, but I'm extremely glad she chose this place! Customer service was amazing, front of house staff were very friendly. Our waitress Kaitlyn was phenomenal! She was made aware that it was our first time there and she broke the menu down to us including allergens info. Restaurant had a great atmosphere, great dining experience for families with young kids. Wasn't loud so it was easy to interact with one another. Everything was super clean inside and out. The Hawaiian Nachos are a must as far as appetizers go! The wonton chips were a game changer. Really fresh ingredients and the chips stayed crispy til the last chip was eaten. Aunty's mix plate is perfect because it comes with so many different items on one plate and the portion is hefty! Teriyaki beef had good flavor, but it was my least favorite. The hard sear marks left a slightly bitter taste and the lean meat was a bit dry and chewy. With an almost perfect score of 24.5 out of 5 stars, I give this place an A rating Will definitely visit again for the nachos alone!

We had such a great birthday dinner here! We started with drinks at the tiki bar (which is so cool outside even during off-weather they have awesome retractable sides)! We tried what felt like one of everything here. The definite favorite was the firecracker chicken appetizer. The crispy spam misubi was also a top choice. We tried all these apps and then split the giant kahlua pork with rice cake and mac n cheese plate. We also tried some shooter drinks and Mai tais and had an amazing time! I would definitely come back here anytime when we're in the area.

Atmosphere was fun. Service was stellar. Menu was popping. I would love to go back 10 different times to try different menu items. A lot of fun items with different twists. Ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer. Large pieces of shrimp cooked to perfection. Seaweed salad has good flavor, but was a bit chewy. (Maybe it always is, I'm not a seaweed salad aficionado.) Quesadilla was packed full of flavor. Was a little heavy on the mushrooms. Was too greasy to pick up, had to switch to a fork....but again, the flavor was great. Fries were a bit on the soggy side...but that's just me being picky.

It's been nearly 3 years since our last visit. I have been telling people to come try them out. On 4.24.21 we decided to patronize here for lunch. They provided indoor and outdoor seating, but we decided on the indoor seating. The tables were spread out for social distancing. Our server came with menus and asked what we wanted to drink, we asked for a few minutes to look at the menu. We picked the Hawaiian suns; I had the pineapple-orange (recommended by our server) and hubby had the Guava. After glancing the menu, hubby ordered the pulled pork rolls and for his entree one of the mixed plates. I had the Shrimp Tacos w/ a reg side Caesar salad. The appetizer was fried perfectly and served on a plate of red cabbage and a side of duck sauce. The shrimp taco was well seasoned and spicy, just tp warn those like me who can't handle the heat, but will say they were good even dipped in the duck sauce. The salad was okay, will ask for extra dressing on the side . The drinks were good, that we even looked them up where to purchase. The mac salad could've used some seasoning. The only reason for the making it a 5 star, was no paper towels in the ladies room. Even though I keep hand wipes and used the toilet tissue, no patron should have to go and ask for it.

My favorite local spot! Such unique and delicious food. We've dined here many times and have NEVER had a bad experience! We always start with the Spam Musubi, pro-tip: ask for it katsu-style... you will not regret it! My favorite thing to order as my entree is the Hawaiian Nacho appetizer. Super filling and very tasty! My boyfriend always gets the Shoyu Chicken and absolutely loves it. We recommend Uncle's to literally everyone!!

Drinks: Sunshine & Flowers yum not too sweet- perfect balance and loved the garnish Cucumber fizz _ no. Gross. Tasted like your elderly aunt's 'club basement!' smells. Foods: Apps: Onion soup- yummy! Wagyu dumplings - delicious! Entrees: Teriyaki Ribeye- my uber carnivore husband's choice. This was not the ribeye he imagined, instead it was thin slices of ribeye doused in teriyaki. Sebastian Mix -was a mixed bag, loved the fish bites. The breading was just right. The lobster stuffed mushrooms were yummy but tiny, which is okay! I'd rather have tiny yummy than huge mediocre. The downside of this dish was the shrimp which were too well done and the green beans - bland. Maybe they were missing some sea salt. I'm not a huge fan of plain ole sticky rice either. Desserts: Kanak tiny very dense bread pudding bites served with a generous amount of coconut ice cream with caramel and yummy nuts. This was good, liked the nuts, the bread but the ice cream didn't taste coconutty or maybe the caramel overpowered the flavor. Husband tried the Tutu's always changing secret flavor which happened to be caramel apple. He liked my dessert better than his and I didn't try his. Food Overall B. Service was great though A!

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time but since it is truly out of the way over never had an opportunity... until today. We both ordered poke bowls and were slightly disappointed in the portion size (not a good value). While the fish tasted fresh, the volume of food was poor. We were both glad we added 2 scoops of sticky rice (extra $2) because we would've been very hungry without. It literally came with a scoop of fish and a container of fried wonton skins. Guess we've been spoiled at other poke bowl places. The firecracker chicken was a delicious appetizer. The fried picked jalapeños and pineapples were a tasty combo with the chicken bites. If I head in that direction again, I'd love to try something else on their menu!

After reviewing everything, I settled on the tempuras Broccoli and the Neighborhood Bird Bun. Service was very quick and they had us in and out of there. They even had stickers for us to grab! Food: Tempura Broccoli-first few bites were amazing. Then I got to the bottom of the box and the house made vinegar threw off the texture for me as they became soggy so I didn't get to finish them. Overall, they were solid but if you do not like vinegar and have texture issues, they're not for you. I'll give them a solid 3 out of 5. Bun: the bun definitely met my expectations. The chicken was huggggeeee and likely was a chicken thigh, which was a good touch. Ur was juicy and fried to perfection. The herbs provided a well balance and the bao bun was everything. I smashed!!! I would definitely go back and try a different bun. Overall 4.5 out of 5 stars!
