WOW! Auto Zone 550 N Lake employees Moises & Eduardo really went above and beyond to help me last…read morenight. I have mobility issues and use an EV Rider Transport Auto Fold Plus mobility scooter to get around the neighborhood. I recently noticed that my tiller is loose & wobbly and it appeared to be missing a screw. I went into Auto Zone looking to replace the screw. The helpful employees Moises & Eduardo offered to remove the remaining screw to measure it and determine which size screw I needed. I was fearful to remove it because there would be nothing holding my tiller together and I was also not confident in my ability to replace it. After they removed it and measured it and told me what size screw I needed they noticed that the missing screw was actually not missing but broken and that part of the screw was still inside the tiller. They managed to extract the broken screw, find another screw that was similar to the screw that I needed and modify it to fit so that I would be able to use my scooter while awaiting the replacement part. The entire process took close to an hour and they did not charge me a cent. I also offered them a tip which they politely declined. I had a previous excellent experience when purchasing a battery for my Honda Civic a few years ago. I believe it was Moises who provided me with the excellent service on that occasion as well. They both deserve recognition for their outstanding customer service! They weren't out to make a quick buck. They TRULY wanted to help me and did so!!!

It was like going to Disneyland , walking through through all the 4 speed tranys laying on the floor saying take me for only two hundred dollars. Me and my buddy used to go there just to window shop and drool. I've had three jobs done for me at Blair's by Phil and bought all kinds of weirdo parts from them…read morefor a assortment of strange cars over the years.( Like where else do you get a mallory dual point distributor for a MK9 Jaguar or lighter tougher pushrods for a TR3 or special con rods for your model A crank conversion in a model T?) The three jobs were putting a 350/350 combo in a 1937 Oldsmobile. they did a GREAT job and yeah it took forever, but one of the clever things they did was rearrange the steering and they actually made the steering much more responsive and tightened up the turning circle. That was awesome. The next job they did I had designed some turned aluminum parts and yes they took forever but they are gorgeous and the price was REALLY fair. The most recent job they did I had bought a 454 powered 1941 Lincoln Continental and was having horrific problems with the electronic ignition constantly failing. Phil knew that the parts made by that company were junk. He recommended a better electronic distributor and coil set up and changed them in a day. About 10% than a average shop would have charged, but i'd already spent more than that at regular shops trying to get it fixed and in towing five times, so I would have been smarter to just go see Phil in the first place. They had it done in a day and its run great since, Phil doesnt know it yet but he's going to be building me a really odd specification SBC for my 40 Ford Truck....... I dont know why yelp says I'm in Frisco, I live in Altadena..
