Had a good dinner at the Undercurrent in Greensboro. They were not too busy early in the evening, the service was attentive but not over the top. Some dishes were better than others, so be inquisitive when ordering to ensure you order well. Some dishes were only Ok. The ambiance was upscale but not uptight, a good balance.

One of our favorite restaurants in Greensboro...and the patio is one of the best kept secrets in the city...give it a try! The food is always good and they vary the menu regularly...they seem to keep most of the same proteins and come up with new techniques for the preparation. Some go to items that are always on the menu include the lobster and shrimp spring rolls, fried oysters, and an excellent spinach salad. Additionally, I find their bar service consistently one of the best in the city. My go to is a Manhattan and they do an excellent job with it! Lastly, if you are there for lunch, give the chicken salad a try.

Went here for lunch with my job!!! We weren't certain if they would be able to accommodate us as a group of 11 and to our surprise they were. Everyone said their meals were awesome. Even the bread was delicious!!! Would love to check this place out for dinner the next time I'm in Greensboro.

I came in with high expectations based on my previous experiences; however, I left slightly disappointed this time. My Bloody Mary arrived with a single, wilted stalk which dampened the excitement I'd felt planning this brunch. The Korean style brunch bowl was lacking flavor and the choice of rice was disappointing as it was very bland and tasted like the bottom quality bulk rice you might find at a discount warehouse. Service was both lackluster and minimal. I'm hoping it was an off day as I've otherwise been pleased rather than an indication on a downward slide.

I stumbled upon this place because I was staying at the Marriott across the street & this was within walking distance, so very convenient. My waitress was so nice & accommodating. The drinks were amazing. However, the lobster & shrimp spring rolls left much to be desired. They lacked a lot of flavor. For my main course, I was deciding between the corn soup and the poke bowl. The waitress let me sample the corn soup and it was delicious! The poke bowl was tasty, but did not come with rice. Once I put it over rice it was better. If I returned I would definitely go back for the corn soup.

Good food- Great service! Party of 5 tonight and we all agreed we would not rush back to visit but the food was good. When we walked in the restaurant had a funny smell like a rotten mop was used to scrub the floor by the front door or something so that was not a good first impression. We ordered appetizers, entrees, alcoholic beverages and desserts. The star of the show tonight was the Peach cheesecake.

I found a video on TikTok raving about the food at this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. The video wasn't exaggerating. The hostess and server were friendly. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to sit us at tables near the bar. The food was great. Would definitely be going back and would recommend you to try it.

Butternut Bisque. Very thick and creamy with great complementary spices!

A group of us made reservations and met here for some much-needed laughter over great food! First, this place is beautiful! The staff made it even more beautiful! And, the food was sincerely mind-blowingly delicious! I had the Grilled Angus Ribeye delivered on a HOT PLATE! My favorite thing about great restaurants is that they serve your food on a hot plate!!! Several people in our group ordered the steak and they all commented on how perfectly cooked their steaks were! The potatoes that came with the steak had tons of great flavor!!! I just cannot say enough about how amazing my entire meal was! My daughter ordered the Butternut Bisque! This was a creamy bowl of thick soup with exceptional spice flavors in every spoonful! We split the Maple Pecan Tart. If you appreciate Pecan Pie, you will LOVE THIS! The bed of sauce it rests on was a tart raspberry sauce that complemented the sweet pecans. I need to mention the staff again! WOW! TOP NOTCH!!! We stayed for hours! Never once did our Man stop filling our waters and making sure our wine glasses were covered. Every detail was noticed! He really was a professional that took pride! Make sure to make reservations here! This place fills up, and I can see why! Most Sincerely, Dayla

Romantic and beautiful ambiance with a taste of chef crafted eats. I had the grilled Mahi Mahi , fish was cooked to perfection, the pear puree was surprisingly good, it tasted like pear infused mashed potato's. The only downside was the plates were small

The service was fantastic and they were very flexible on our large group's variety of different dietary restrictions. The food was very good and well cooked. The set menu was great and had pescatarian and vegetarian options for me. Ambiance wise we were in their back room since we had a larger group and it was very comfortable and clean. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the city.

Lobster and shrimp spring rolls. Not worth it.

Decided to end my Greensboro visit with a light dinner at one of its most well-reviewed restaurants. Decor is elegant yet has a modern feel to it. Staff is friendly and i was seated promptly. Lobster and shrimp spring rolls- I came by specifically for this dish and...I could've just rerouted to my hotel and saved myself the time and bill. While you can faintly taste...something in it, I can't really pinpoint if I'm tasting crab or shrimp or just minced onion. The accompanying sauces, while tasty, completely overpower the dish...which is actually probably a good thing. Starry Night cocktail - bland. Just bland. These are the only items I tried, so I think it deserves a chance, at least for the ambiance and service

Lewis and Elm delivers a 5 star experience on so many levels. Many people I've spoken with think it's just a wine bar. Oh no, it goes well beyond your typical wine bar. First off, they have a full bar with a huge specialty cocktail list, craft beers, non alcoholic options and even THC drinks. We had amazing wine off of their impressive list, plus a few cocktails that were mixed extremely well. The food: amazing to say the least. Charcuteries, meats, cheeses, apps, finger foods, and a few uniques you have to get (one in particular). We enjoyed a beautifully plated charcuterie (see pic), the caprese bruschetta, a goat cheese pesto bruschetta, and that one in particular: the medjool dates. Everything was delicious, but these dates were on another level. The dates were surrounded by a bed of creamy Brie cheese melted perfectly, topped with crispy prosciutto and sprinkled with a balsamic reduction. All of this is easily mopped up with the fresh focaccia the dish comes with. This dish rocked! It was perfect on its own, but paired amazingly well with both the chilled white wine and the cocktails we were enjoying. The vibe is amazing as well. Upscale but super comfy interior. Come casual or dressed to impress, it all works here. Live music on the weekends add to the atmosphere and the whole experience. Come for the whole evening, or pre-dinner/pre-show drinks and bites, or even for a night cap after a dinner or show. Come for a quick pit stop, or stay for the live music. It's an all around excellent experience with great drinks, food, service and vibe.

The staff was so welcoming and empathetic. They immediately brought us towels to dry off and even brought me a blanket! They also gave us some complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Our waitress, Delaney (I hope I'm spelling that right!), was wonderful and even took the time to make me a custom off-menu martini. And then there was the food. There is a written wine list of reds and whites to order full glasses of whites or reds which should suffice. I asked folks what they were drinking and there were many red wine-o's ha ha. The Bordeaux drinkers were happy with their choice and the Malbec drinkers were satisfied with their choice and commented the wine was soft. I chose a cold Chenin Blanc mostly cuz I haven't seen it on a menu in the Triad for quite some time. It was quite good great nose of sweetness but dry enough to be a good all round table wine.
