We were first timers today. Very skeptical of all groomers, as we have had TERRIBLE luck here. My daughter found this business on Yelp, and after reading reviews, we decided to try them out. Phone call and appoint making was courteous and professional. The drop off was great, clean, attentive and kind. Though the person who was doing the groom was not actually there at the moment so I was a bit nervous about how effective the pass off of course info would be to the groomer- as I said, horrible grooms at more than a few places. Katie did our groom, and I met her when I picked up our toy cavachon, Jack. Jack looked absolutely adorable!!! It was the best groom EVER! And he is 4!!! We will go nowhere ever again! When I stopped by to find out how much it would cost for my cat to be cut I was told $40, that's just a cut no bath. When I called I was given a different quote of $50 for a cut nail trim and ears cleaned. So I took her in I stayed to hold her while she was being cut. I wasn't happy at all with how it came out. The backside was ok but her legs and under belly weren't done all the way, very choppy. Looks exactly how it does when I do it. Hence the reason I took her to a professional. And she also never got her nails trimmed or ears cleaned. So I was wondering why I paid $50? I gave a tip still, that is the polite thing to do, and because The lady was very nice. My cat started acting up towards the end. So maybe that's why she couldn't do a better job? I honestly think cats just aren't her specialty. Either way $50 for the service and lack there of was quite expensive. Literally was there 20 mins. I guess I'm just used to my regular groomer who does a clean shave on the whole body. read more

Been there a few times and always been happy. This last time I was overly happy. I have an old english sheep dog. Her hair is a lot of work and with the rains and life etc she was looking pretty shaggy! I didn't expect them to totally brush her coat all out but they did ! Wow so awesome. After being turned away from so many groomers I hope I finally found a permanent one. My shih tzu is 13lbs of mean and bites any hands, scissors, clippers that comes near him. Jessica and Angel were great to work with when it comes to difficult dogs. They did the best they could with my dog (better than any other groomer so far) and offered to keep working with him while I'm deployed. We want my pupper to get used to them so we're gonna try to just bring him in every 2 weeks for a bath and they said they'll work on the price with me. Great customer service and definitely recommend to give them a shot. read more

I've been taking my dog to Underdog for about a year now. My boy is less than cooperative when it comes to being groomed (we've been asked to not come back to multiple places) but Katie does an amazing job with him! Each time she has been able to do the entire groom, including trimming his nails without too much trouble. She is more than patient with him and I am so appreciative. The whole place is visible from the front, there is no hidden area where they take the dogs to work on them. Everything they do can be seen by an overprotective dog mom (like me). They have a few chairs up front to wait and will work on your dog straight thru if you request it when you make the appointment. Mario took care of my baby girl and she looked absolutely adorable after. She is a small dog with fairly long fur in places that get tangled and dirty easily, but I've always found it to be so cute that I was nervous about taking her for a haircut, worried that it would be too short. Her appointment didn't take terribly long and when I came to pick her up she looked so nice I couldn't believe it.
