SCAM ALERT I had a good experience using them twice, but now they're trying to scam me out of my money. They mistakenly charged me on November 17th $925 for no reason, citing a payment error because they're changing financial systems. I called them to refund it and they refunded it Nov 20th. I wish that was where it ended. They ended up reversing that refund without notifying me and I had to call them AGAIN to get that reversed again. The guy I spoke with was apologetic and said to check my statement in a few days. I checked a few days later and nothing, so I called back. Again the guy was apologetic and said it would take a couple more days. A week+ later, nothing again. So I decided I'll just do a chargeback on my credit card they have on file. Chase reversed it for a month or so, but now I have notice on my Chase dispute that "The merchant has provided information showing they believe the charge you are disputing is valid", showing the first receipt when they charged me. Now I'm here a full 42 days later, after 3 phone calls and talking to chase, trying to get a simple refund on a mistaken charge of almost a grand. Hello, Darvell- Jose came to our home on Nov. 11th to repair a leaky faucet. I had already purchased the cartridges and tried to repair the leak myself without success. Jose was able to not only troubleshoot where I had gone wrong but, took apart the cartridges to complete the repair. He showed me how some of the parts get moved around during shipping. Jose gets 5 stars. You had quoted me $125 to come to our home and evaluate the job. You explained that if the repair was to cost more, this amount would be applied to the total. Jose worked on our faucet for about 30 minutes. He was at our home for less than 45. When it came to writing the check, Jose said, "My boss said, $150." I had neglected to ask for an invoice or receipt. I texted you the next day to request one and question the additional $25 that was added. When you had not responded, I left you a voicemail and emailed you on the 14th. As of this writing, you have not responded. These are economically challenging times for everyone, Darvell. If you value your business and livelihood, you should be more considerate when collecting others' hard-earned money and demonstrate better customer service skills. Otherwise, you may come across as being a shady business owner with questionable billing practices. read more

Twelve year old tankless water heater broke down. We called Darvell and he sent two people right away. They were courteous, friendly and professional. This review is solo based on trying to get a quote and not their work. Ray did a wonderful job on fixing my leaky toilet so I contacted them to do a simple job of replacing a new bathroom faucet and installing an under sink adapter for my medical machine. Called on a friday they said it's close to closing time and to text them pics to give me an estimate after speaking with the technicians. Sent and since they're closed over the weekend, they told me someone will call on Monday to give me a quote and that they have opening the whole week so I waited. Monday comes no call, so texted them and they said they've been busy and will call by tomorrow. Tuesday comes still no call. Very disappointed. I'm usually pretty skeptical of plumbers. Especially when you can very easily get upsold on unneeded services and you have no choice because your kitchen sink is flooding. This was certainly not the case with Unlimited. I talked to Darvell and he sent his guy out right on time. The plumber, Daniel was as professional as they come. From the moment he stepped in the house, the first thing he did was put on boot covers and laid out mats to keep the floor clean. When the snake did not work, he figured out with Darvell logistically to bring a hydro jet the same day along with an extra helper that did the trick. Even as my upstairs neighbor ran the water and it started to flood the kitchen, Daniel immediately jumped right in and did his best to clean up the mess. Unlimited didn't just unclog my drain, they filled up the sink multiple times to make sure the problem was fixed and left making sure my place was just as clean as when they first arrived. Great customer service and response time when I reached out to have my bathroom faucets replaced. They did a great job removing the old faucets and replacing it with the new ones I bought. My only complaint is that they didn't finish the job. They said that if I wanted to have the drain part replaced that I would have to make another appointment. I wonder if it because he had to go to another appointment and didn't have time to finish? My wife was very disappointed to come home and see that the job was not complete. read more

Troy and his plumbing specialist (I forgot his name... Albert maybe? Sorry! ) came to my house to assess a strange sewage smell we have been noticing since we recently moved in. It was difficult because we couldn't really explain what the problem was, besides the occasionally whiff of it, but I was sure something was off. However there didn't seem to be any visible signs. The guys went through the area of the house that smelled and asked me questions and checked possible causes. They were thorough and finally discovered where the smell was coming from. Even though it was just a consult visit, I really appreciated the fact that they took their time to diagnose my problem (which entailed going into the crawl space and searching for it). There definitely was a leak! Although we ended up figuring out that we had a home warranty that covered the problem, we never would have known about the leak if Troy and his associate didn't discover it. I hate posting an unsatisfied comment. It wasn't the work or plumber. Job was done... so far no issues (it's only been a few hours). Guy (Jerry) was nice and pleasant, helpful too. He bumped my rating to 3-star. Replaced the inside of my toilet (had already bought the kit) and the water supply valve. Unfortunately I didn't have this piece, which I could (and did offer) to easily run to get it at Home Depot in less that 5 minutes. I should have done so, because it ended up costing me $25 additional for the angle valve. Felt cheated for something ~$8. They did call back to see how things went, and I voiced how I felt. That being said,I hung up still very upset. Just some advice... make sure to get your supplies before you book an appointment- could save you some major $$$. read more

We had a suspected pipe leak in the shower area, behind the bathroom wall. I contacted Unlimited Building & Plumbing Services, and Darvell was very helpful and friendly on the phone and was able to give me a good idea of what needs to be done to fix our problem. We setup an appointment for someone to come in. Our technician, Jerry, was very helpful and courteous. He quickly assessed the problem and figured out the best way to get to the leak. Since the leak was behind the bathroom wall, he had to break through the tiles. Jerry did a good job by doing as little damage to the wall as possible to get to the leak. He found the leak and replaced the damaged pipe with a new one. Then he cleaned up after himself and disposed all the garbage. I thought the price quoted for the job was very reasonable. I called Troy to replace two bathroom faucet sets, and he and an associate showed up promptly, gave a very reasonable quote (which matched the estimate given over the phone), and started working. It turned out that the old faucets had been leaking, and the resulting rust had practically welded the old faucet sets into place! It took quite a lot longer to do the job - instead of the estimated 1 hour per faucet set, it took about double the time, and the SawzAll had to be used to cut some of the pieces out! It all turned out well - they did a wonderful job, Troy and team are among the friendliest and most personable contractors I've met, they cleaned up the sink and work area beautifully (I think the sinks/basins were cleaner than before they replaced the faucets), and they stuck to the quote even though the job was much tougher than anyone anticipated. I highly recommend them, and will always go to them for my future plumbing needs, and possibly other contacting needs (Troy also does general contracting and buliding). read more

I have been looking and calling around for someone to come and take a look at my leak in my ceiling. I know the cause of the leak is because of my master bathroom upstairs I just didn't know where it was leaking from. I called and spoke with Troy and he came over the next day. He stayed for a good 45 mins with his partner (I am so sorry I forgot your name) and they opened up my ceiling and found the root cause of my issue (so we hope) they told me how to fix it and when I fix it and the leak no longer occurs they will come back and patch my ceiling! Best part is they don't charge by the hour and only by the job. From the experience I had I would recommended them to others.
