The buffet

Came here based on the reviews but I don't think the person was looking at recent reviews. Arrived and the parking lot was full which usually a good sign, walked in and there is a hostess who seats you. We asked for a table and was crammed next to a wall which made it hard to get up and down from the table for 2 of the people at the table. Waitress came by and took drink orders and told us we could help ourselves. Now, I go into the bathroom and at this point I should of grabbed my purse and dipped because the bathroom was nasty. Two of the stalls was out of order, there was water on the floor, toilet tissue on the floor and I know most of this is from customers however as a business I need them to come check the bathroom. The other thing I didn't like was after you washed your hands they have a blower (yeah, eco friendly) but then you have to touch the door to get out the bathroom which defeats the purpose of washing your hands. Get to the buffet and the plates are located after the food begins. I think I got to the buffet at the wrong time (because timing is everything) as people were impatient and just walking in front of you like you haven't been standing in line waiting for items. I will say that there are lots of options but quantity doesn't always trump quality and some of the food lacked flavor, was dry, or had been picked over (all broccoli no beef). I will say for $15.99, all you can eat, someone is saying this is their go to place and as I said there are lots of options (I saw raw oysters on the bar, shrimp cocktail, crawfish, and frog legs) but for me, this isn't it.

This places is probably the best in town. I tried a few places and this place hands down one of the best in town. Definitely this restaurant you're coming here to eat. Food are fresh and lot of variety. Service was great. it's better than other places that I have been. They at least takes all my plates and even refill my drink not having me ask for it. I only giving 4 stars because the host made me stand at the host desk waiting while he was talking to the other waiters and didn't even acknowledge me

You can zoom in on the bug and see the legs

I usually love going here but won't be going back . Today I found a bug in my food and manager told the chef and they said that it wasn't a bug that it was black pepper. This was a huge bug that had legs. Manager only took 7$ off my total . Wasn't too happy that I was told the bug I found is black pepper

Stupid fortune cookie. This is just common sense...or is it

Nothing like seeing roaches in the bathroom to set the mood. After seeing that, the food looked questionable. I only had steamed broccoli and corn and my stomach still made me rush to the bathroom 45 minutes later. My uncle had to leave our shopping trip because he was going to explode. To top it off the bill for 3 people was $60!!!! Money down the toilet....literally. Knew I shouldn't have listened to my dads suggestion of this place. Even the fortune cookies we awful, making no sense in telling your fortune

Food is bland, price is ok. Lots of tables but wont seat you unless your whole party is present. Horrible service. Avoid on saturdays.

All the food was under cooked. The server literally looked at me in the eye when i tried to flag him down for check and kept walking.

What a cool spot! My partner and I were looking for a good late night spot and Dansungsa checked…read moreoff all the boxes! It's an unassuming location but once you step through the doors you're met with ambient lighting, wooden table tops and benches. We arrived around 11 and were greeted immediately; sat within 5 mins. Once sat, you scan the menu to order. There's plenty Korean and Asian fusion dishes to choose from. We ordered a number of things and everything was fresh and plentiful. I'll say the standout was the bulgogi and lemon pepper wings. Also, the fries were stellar! Needless to say we'll definitely be back!

I stopped by another Korean spot first, but they told me a solo diner had to wait. After 10…read moreminutes, I said "forget it" and wandered into this place instead. When I walked in, the place was empty. I stood at the "Please wait to be seated" sign for way longer than necessary--especially since there were no other customers. I finally peeked in and saw two employees busy counting receipts and money at the register. (Bad Impression #1). After being seated, I was actually enjoying the music until I felt something sticky on my forearm. It was a stray bean sprout left on the table (Bad Impression #2). To make matters worse, the tables are incredibly low. Even at my height, I had to hunch over the entire time. I eventually gave up on table manners and just held the rice bowl up to my face to eat comfortably. Regarding the food: it was a bit salty. The kimchi fried rice was average, but the kimchi stew really missed the mark. That was the moment I realized this is a fusion spot, not authentic Korean. It wasn't horrible, but it's definitely different from the real thing. BUT, can we talk about the massive portions? (Good Impression #1). Everything is clearly meant to be shared. The service was actually good. They have a buzzer on the table for service, which I loved. It saves you from having to track down a waiter. (Good Impression #2). The ambiance is loud, poppy, and "hip." You better like K-pop if you're coming here. It's not a first-date spot because it's hard to hear each other, but it's a solid place to hang out with friends who like the genre. Will I come back? Not actively. But if someone else suggests it, I won't fight them on it.

You place your order on a electronic tablet. We ordered the Sizzling Lau Sausage, Crispy Zaap Wings, Pad Kee Mao and the Mango Sticky Rice. We ordered all of our items to go. When I took our items out of our bags when we got back, I was amazed at the portion size of the Pad Kee Mao because the weight of the container was SUBSTANTIALLLLLL!!!!! All of our items were out of this world fantastic but I have to give a big ole shout out for that MANGO STICKY RICE! This was first time to have it and my husband and I both enjoyed. I appreciated the variety of Thai and Lao items on their menu and would like to come back and try some other things. They had a lot of customers coming in and out with to go orders. You can tell this is very popular for lunch for folks who work in the area. I can understand why. All of the food is so fresh and piping hot. Oh and the chalkboard art is MAGNIFICENT!!!! I love it so much that i took more pictures of that than our food! I did, however, get a pic of the mango sticky rice because I had to try it immediately when we got back. WOWOWOWOWOWWWW! That's all.

The papaya salad came with big chunks of cabbage and marinated green papaya. The Lao sausage was good and the garlic riblets were okay.
