We have been here four times now. The food and service have been excellent every time!! Don't listen to the earlier reviews of poor service. They have definitely corrected that. I would highly recommend. This time I had the Caprese sandwich. The rosemary bread is soft and flavorful. It was so good!

6 oz rib eye Steak and egg

We really wanted to like it ! Every time we pass by we say how awesome that place looked and that it might be pretty good! It was pretty bad my husband got steak and eggs and I got avocado toast please see the pictures of the "6 oz ribeye", the avocado toast had 3 mini slices . Service was alright not bad not awesome just mid. They definitely put heart and soul into making this place look nice which they did. The food is the only thing that needs to be better. We tried to compare the pictures we saw on yelp and other review pages and the look nothing like ours . It was $21 for the steak you couldn't even eat.

My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day with a fabulous meal and live entertainment at Uptown Bistro this year. Our server, Margarita, was very attentive and the manager, Blanca, stopped by to greet us and to ensure the meal was to our liking. Would highly recommend!

Their version of a Philly cheesesteak. Not a cheesesteak by Philly standards but still good.

The food was very good. The girl was new but she was polite and helpful enough. The rest of the staff were equally polite and helpful. Loved the ambiance which was seemed wide open with I believe the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. They also had plenty of parking and a band set up with a baby grand! Very cool. They are open for dinner as well as breakfast and lunch. Didn't try the bakery this trip but everything in the display looked delicious so will definitely have to visit again for that.

Laura about to enjoy her Cinnamon Roll French Toast with crispy bacon.

6/22/25: Enjoyed an after-church breakfast of Cinnamon Roll French Toast and crispy bacon (about 5 strips). One French toast was smothered with plump blueberries and the other with freshly sliced strawberries. Both pieces were thick, moist, and delicious. We asked to sit out on their comfortable covered patio which has lots of sunlight through windowed retractable panels, ceiling fans, air conditioning, two large TVs, and a bar. Server Chanelle provided fabulous, friendly service. A disc jockey played nice music as we dined. Spacious interior with booths and tables AND an outdoor deck (with umbrellas) over a pond. Easily a five-starexperience based on the food, the service, and the ambiance. Plenty of parking in the back and a back door entrance! - Laura & Mark VanValkenburg, The Bluffs on the Waterway.

Food was so good and service was excellent. Everything is a great price especially the drinks! Had bang bang shrimp to start and a filet for dinner. The dessert menu is top of the line.

Linguini with white clam sauce.. I think a family recipe !

Food service and ambiance all were a 10 for our group of 7.. linguini with white clam sauce was the best I have ever had. And easily enough to serve 8 people .. fed my hungry grandsons with the huge box left over. Delicious Caesar salad ... mixed grill was a platter sized meal that could have also served several.. every meal got rave reviews .. multiple types of seating areas inside and out. Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo isCozy bar spots .. actually we had a hard time believing we were in Myrtle Beach! The wait staff seemed pleased to be there.

The service was great but the food was not worth the price. The mixed grill dinner was $74 dollars and came with about 5 oz of protein.

When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.

Kicked off the meal with some grouper bites. Wasn't sure what to expect from them, but pleasantly surprised. They were lightly battered. The grouper was light and flaky and really delicious. They give you a sauce called "Yum Yum" so dipping them in the sauce was a nice touch. Kicked off the meal with a nice fresh side salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Nicely done. Went with the blackened salmon dinner on rice. The server was terrific and very attentive and the meal came out quick and hot. The blackened salmon wasn't overly blackened. The fish was not fishy tasting. The rice and the steamed veggies were both terrific. Slide a cocktail in your hand and just kick back and relax. This is an excellent place.

Service was good with exception of having to go up to the bar to get by soda refilled. On the food, my wife ordered Clam Chowder and a fried Shrimp and Oyster basket. She said that the tasted mostly potatoes and little clam in the chowder. Her other issue was that the Oysters weren't fried enough for her. My granddaughter ordered Chicken pasta-she said it had a strange taste and didn't like it. I tasted it and there was a strong peppery taste that was off putting. I had Raw oysters which were fine and blackened grouper which was overcooked but okay. Just not as good as I heard and a price of $120 for 2 adults and 1 child.

We were dressed casually in shorts, T-shirts, and sandals--which, considering this is Myrtle Beach and the restaurant is only a couple miles from the beach, didn't seem remotely inappropriate. The atmosphere itself is casual, with motorcycles and a Fonzie cutout, so we certainly weren't walking into what appeared to be a five-star fine-dining restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were basically ignored. When my boyfriend finally asked about seating, the woman who appeared to be the manager responded, "For tonight?" in a tone and with an expression that made us feel like we had asked a ridiculous question. The host then proceeded to cut her eyes at us. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily judgmental and condescending. I'm a bar manager myself, so I understand the service industry very well. If there was no availability, a simple, "Unfortunately, we're fully booked tonight," would have been completely understandable. What I don't understand is making potential customers feel unwelcome or beneath your establishment based on how they happen to be dressed. And that's the thing about working in hospitality: you never know who is walking through your door. We were fully prepared to spend good money on dinner, drinks, and leave a generous tip. Instead, after seeing how we were being treated, I grabbed my boyfriend's hand and said, "No, we aren't spending our money here," and we left. You can have great food, but hospitality starts before the first drink or plate ever reaches the table. Making guests feel judged the second they walk through the door is a great way to make sure they spend their money somewhere else. On that note, we to Fiesta Mexicana next door and they had exceptional customer service, great food, and a very welcoming vibe! I highly recommend.
