    Popcorn Crispy Chicken Bites
    Khanh P.

Went here for lunch and honestly didn't expect too much from the Pad Thai since it's more of a fusion spot. But it turned out surprisingly decent! The portion was just right, and I liked how the noodles and toppings were balanced instead of being overloaded with carbs. Seasoning was on point too. Really enjoyed it! The popcorn chicken is a must try, super crispy and flavorful without being too salty (which happens a lot elsewhere). I'd definitely order both dishes again.

I went here with a few friends post run club. Had the house special pho and tasted the popcorn chicken. The pho was great and had a good and balanced broth along with the combination of meats (meatball, brisket). Bonus points for having cool tables with outlets. Might be a cool idea do some work here in the future.

They have pretty good food here. Portions could be bigger but not a big deal. All their plate orders are around $17-$22

Do not try the rotisserie chicken. I might have to call out of work tomorrow now. I took 2 bites of the chicken and my stomach started feeling a little weird. I'm giving them 2 stars because maybe the chicken could've been bad before it even made it to them, but even then the flavor of the chicken was awful. I won't be back again, and I definitely can't recommend it.

Randomly went to this place and honestly didn't expect much, but wow the popcorn chicken was crazy good. Super crispy but not dry at all, and that flour they use got so much flavor like I don't even know how to explain it, just really good. The noodles were tasty and not dry at all, with tender meat, and the Pad Thai had a nice balance of flavor. The server was super nice and helpful, made the whole thing even better. Didn't plan to eat here but glad we did.

Came by to pick up a quick lunch and got: 1. Rotisserie chicken with garlic noodles: Don't get the rotisserie chicken; it was super bland. The garlic noodles were subpar and overcooked. 2. Popcorn chicken: The popcorn chicken was seasoned well, but honestly, at this point, I've had better. Overall, I'd skip and go elsewhere.

I randomly ended up here after seeing it nearby to where I was at. I ordered food to go, which seemed to take a really long time but the food was super good. I ordered a plate with filet and garlic noodles. I told my friend I think that they were the best garlic noodles I've ever had! They were cooked perfectly as was the filet. I ordered the pork spring rolls which were pretty good. I didn't order a beverage but the milk teas are all sounded really good. I'd recommend giving this place a try!

Garlic noodles with filet mignon cubes & popcorn chicken in the back

The food was decent! Garlic noodles were good. We got the filet mignon cubes & the crispy chicken for the protein but I personally liked the crispy chicken more. The popcorn chicken was okay, wasn't as crispy as we would have liked. The food was served to us and it came out pretty quickly. Service was decent, as well. Ambiance wise, plenty of seats inside. We went on a Wednesday evening and it was just us two and one more person inside. Price is decent. There's plenty of parking because it's inside a structure with other stores nearby, like 85 degrees.

Underdog of cafes to study at. Plentyyyy of outlets at each table. Great spot to study if you need outlets. Wifi is usually good. Music is always loud, so noise cancelling will help big time. You can also hear the cashier or social chatter since this place lowkey is like a dome where you hear everything. The tables themselves aren't shiny clean and lowkey sticky so it can get uncomfortable sitting on sticky wooden furniture for a long time. I've had the garlic noodles with prawn and rotisserie chicken before. The chicken is sweet but it pairs well with the garlic noodles. This visit, I stayed late so just wanted something to snack on and chose the garlic fries. It's delicious at first then after eating it for a while it got too salty and garlickyyy for me to munch on. Viet coffee hitttttt however I don't think it's as strong as Lees Vietnamese coffee. I'm curious to try their pad Thai and curry.

    Pad Thai with Beef

Stopped by on a very sunny day. The ambiance is very pleasing and the service is top notch. I love their Pad Thai, it hits home. I also tried Garlic Noodles and a refreshing salad to balance the flavor out but overall, I love the experience and would like to come back to try other items on the menu! Highly recommended! (Their popcorn chicken is something else, very addicting to eat).

I was lucky to receive my dish pretty quickly, but some of the other people in my party had to wait quite a bit. But I think the staff were working as fast as they could so ultimately, i think service was fine. I tried the lomo saltado with beef, fries and garlic noodles. Overall tasted great. The fries still managed to have a crispy texture and had a sweet and savory sauce flavor to them. The beef cubes were tender and cooked just right. The noodles were fine as well. I liked that the noodles werent too heavy. The portion size is very large though, i was very full by the end of it. The green milk tea was good too. The milk, sugar, and tea ratios were all balanced and the flavor was subtle. It had an interesting flavor that reminded me of grass jelly and milk, but in a good way.

I LOVE THIS PLACE…read more Don't let the simple decor fool you - the chicken here is hands down one of the best hole in the wall locations for chicken that I've been to. Unlike your typical rotisserie or fried chicken, this place roasts their chicken in a large clay pot and the marinade is definitely not something that you can find easily. The smell of the chicken is so inviting on its own but you won't be able to smell it outside of the restaurant - gather some confidence and open that door! We got 1 whole chicken, bot chien, crispy rice, and a side of dry noodles. All of the sides are great - I've tried at least 1 option every time I come back here but my favorite is the dry noodles and crispy rice. Their chicken pairs TOOO WELL with the pickled veggies and their special soy sauce. I like mixing a little salt, pepper and lime in mine to make it extra sour but honestly, the chicken is great even without the sauce. It's a small restaurant and flagging down servers is not difficult but I love that they will come to check in on you pretty often without you putting out any effort. I've been here when it was super busy and when it's a little more free, the servers are nice, friendly & really responsive Pro tip : get more than 1 soy sauce!! You DEFINITELY will not be sharing it!

I either crave Spring rolls, Banh khot, Oxtail pho, egg rolls or egg noodle soup, viet wings and there's still many more things to try! One of my friends I met at personal training asked me out to lunch. We always eat well and this place was already on my list so I was game! Came in at a perfect time, right after a lunch rush. Sat down looked over the menu, pretty straightforward. Service was lovely, a little bit of language barrier but good nonetheless. We started with the Bot chien ( crispy rice cake with egg.) She asked if there was pork in the dish and they said no, she can't eat pork. It came out and it looked fantastic, looked like an omelet. I love eggy dishes! This was fantastic, definitely add a sauce like Sambal or Sriracha. We were off to a great start! But we came for the star of the show, Clay jar chicken with dry noodles!!! They set the bowls down and everything looked fantastic and smelled even better! A generous bowl of egg noodles, chicken and a side of broth in case you want to dip or just throw it in the bowl. We got to grubbin and it was instant love at first bite! The chicken was so tender and flavorful. We noticed these little cubes of tasty bits, we didn't know what they were because we didn't see it on the description, she already had a piece, we thought it was some sort of crispy bread crumb bits LOL. We asked the service and come to find out, it was crispy pork called Top Mo. We told them she can't have pork, they took the plate back. After a few minutes they came back. She asked is it a new dish or did you just pick them out. They picked them out. This is where the language barrier came into play. They didn't understand for a bit. I said she can't have pork because of her religion. That's when it clicked! Thank the Lord! Out came a fresh porkless new bowl and she could enjoy with me. They should've given me her previous bowl to go LOL I'm the pork Queen LOL. Overall a fantastic meal and I've been thinking about this meal for awhile. I need a reunion stat!!! Just so many good Vietnamese dishes in the area, it's hard to choose! I will be back!!!

For impressions of each Entree: The Papaya Salad is incredible, we ordered it with a mild spice level sauce. It's light, flavorful and refreshing and serves as a perfect palate cleanser if you order it with another item, but having it on its own is perfectly fine as well. The Garlic Chicken Roll was fantastic, crispy roll and tender chicken on the inside. It came with a sweet dipping sauce that had a flavor we weren't expecting but a nice surprise. The Beef Jerky Special: I absolutely love the idea of the beef jerky with a crispy-charred outer shell. My critique would be to dial back the charred-ness a little bit so that it doesn't dominate the center flavor. It goes perfectly well with the sticky rice and the sauce it comes with is really nice. Really great establishment with great customer service, I look forward to visiting again!

My family and I randomly stopped in on a Monday night during dinner time and lucky us, no wait! We ordered the chicken pan fried dumplings, cucumber salad, pork ribs with smashed garlic, braised noodle soup, juicy pork dumplings, and kungpao chicken. WOW! They were all so good! If I had to pick some favorites I would say I enjoyed the braised noodle soup for the bold flavors and tender meat and the cucumber salad for its crunch and how light/refreshing it was. Some of the dishes could be oily so having the cucumber salad or some greens helped with the balance. A close second is the short ribs with mashed garlic bits. My least favorite would be the juicy pork dumplings. It wasn't really juicy and lacked a bit of flavor. People tend to say this is a DTF dupe. It's not, but it is still very good. Ordering is straightforward using the paper checklist and pen. We came for a quick meal and ironically skipped the dumplings entirely because other dishes caught our eye. The beef roll was the standout of the meal (5/5). It is easily one of the best beef rolls I have had. The stir-fried string beans (4/5) were also great. While not quite at Din Tai Fung level, they were fresh, crisp, and packed with savory umami from the fermented black beans and garlic. The braised beef noodle soup (3/5) was the only letdown. The noodles were decent and they were generous with the cilantro and green onions, but the broth lacked depth and the beef was not as tender as it should be.
