I ended up also getting some gorditas de nata and some bread called pan de feria, which was pillowy soft and sweet! They are definitely good at what they do and I am so happy that this place is so close to me! Also, the employees are very nice :)

I told her that my sister initially came to get a medium sized box but she was provided a small - and now I'm here, getting another box. (And that too - I asked for a SMALL box) The lady (wish I got her name but she'll be know as the pizza box regulator) decided to stick with her miserable ego and give me a mini box. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED - it didn't fit so instead of wasting my time on her, I ended up eating some more of my to-go food, so it can fit the mini box. Now you may think, why not just go up for a third time and ask for another box? Good question. I didn't because when I looked around, the rest of patrons who look like them, had no problem receiving multiple boxes. This is such a huge disappointment for my bday celebration - let alone, for being part of this community for decades. The only thing I can do is take my future pizza referrals (LOL) to a place where they don't put their weird-ass energy to you - especially when you're investing $100+. Anyways, because of all this, I kinda felt hesitant to add a little more toppings and even get a drink. Other than that, nothing much has changed overall.

Urban Kitchen in Union City, CA, exceeded my expectations. After giving it a second chance, I was impressed by the Chicken Tandoori Burger, which was packed with flavor and perfectly spiced. I enjoyed the décor showing fast food found near various Mumbai railway stations, like Ghatkopar, Bandra, and Bombay Central. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We ate hungrily, then ordered more. We ended a very satisfying meal with masala chai. My favorite dishes were the Mumbai daal fry and balti paneer, my friends also enjoyed the Chana masala and Methi malai paneer. The naan basket was excellent, but the rice and butter tandoori roti was meh. Total bill was a little over $100 before tip (reasonable for 4 adults). Bathroom was available and operational. After eating, several members of my family experienced upset stomach symptoms. The chutneys were overly watered down and seemed like they were served straight from the freezer. The sambar had almost no flavor, and the idlies were hard, rough, and clearly not fresh. I'm currently consulting a doctor, and if food poisoning is confirmed, I will be reporting this to the health department.
