I really wanted to fall in love with this place because the charcuterie was perfect, the atmosphere was modern, and I love wine but I wasn't in love with any of the red wines in the wine flight or the two whites I tried. I had the mushroom ravioli. the serving was HUGE. enough that I took home half for another meal. My husband had the chicken with mushrooms. the chicken was moist and the carrots and potatoes perfectly cooked. we ordered an app of the pretzels. because they made a fresh batch of the cheese dip it came out with our food. So we only ate one. I had the sangria wine flight and my husband tried both chardonney. he liked the Juliet the best. I had my first experience at Urban pine the other day and it was simply amazing. Not far from home but it gave you the Texas wine feel as you're driving up and waling in. Of course Texas doesn't get as nearly as cold as Ohio but the venue was great both inside and out so I can't wait to go back in the warmer months to sit on the patio. We had the red and white flights with sweet potat fries and the absolutely freshest pretzels I have ever taste. You will not be disappointed in this place if your are looking for something fun and inexpensive to do if you're in the Northwest Oh area. read more

We are regulars and are never disappointed! The food is great and I love that the menu is changed periodically so there is always something new to try. We are Sangria Club Members so we get 2 free flights every time we are there! We love Haley...she always does an amazing job! Buyer beware- I was with a group of friends resulting in an automatic 20% gratuity. I have no problem with that. Our server was wonderful. The wait to even have a server look in our direction was awful. The food came out cold and lumpy. The wine slushies came out melted. There were very little people there and plenty of servers, so there shouldn't have been a wait to even order, but they seemed too busy chatting and hanging out at the bar rather than serving guests. Went here for dinner tonight and although the wine & flatbread was AMAZING! which is why they are getting 3 stars. However, the service was incredibly slow. We were sat & weren't even welcomed by our server until 20 min later. it took a while for us to get our wine considering it wasn't super packed inside. it seemed as though there was only one server for the whole place which was a bit confusing. It also took us 30 min from getting our first glass of wine to be seen by our server again to get our second glass. Again, the food was delicious and the server was super nice when she saw us but felt like we had to go out of our way to get what we needed from our server. read more

First time there. Service was outstanding. Dry reds even better. But the highlight of the day was the soup of the day. The chef created the most outrageously tasty sausage (spicy-yum!), potato and kale (I know but it's right) soup. I hope she writes the recipe down and adds it to the menu. A true prize winner! We stopped into Urban Pine Winery after a long day of driving from New York to the west. It was their opening night. WOW! We are so excited to have found a beautiful venue with good food and wine and a terrific server. Madeline was our server. She was great! We had a bottle of a cabernet, Autumn Trees. Delish. We shared Breuchetta and Flatbread w carmellized onions and sous vide short ribs. So good we ate it all. Prices were very reasonable. Thank you Madeline and Urban Pine. We were so excited to have a new winery in the area! They should have waited to train staff properly, as they're without a clue! Our server had 6 or 7 tables& was out of control. She also had to bus her own tables causing service to be ever slower. Our white wine was served warm & without a cooler, on a hot night. Wine selections are too limited& no Sauvignon blanc on the menu. Good menu super limited& slow to be served to guests. More music speakers on patio would be helpful to drown out loud expressway noise. We've been to many wineries all over the country& this one has a ton of growing pains to get past... Very nice venue and decor. We loved the outdoor space. We liked the entire flight and the Autumn Tree Cabernet Sauvignon was very good so we bought a bottle. Our server Madelyn was great too. Had lunch recently. Service was nice but food portions are very small. Everything expensive . Wine by the glass not badly priced. I might try the establishment again but not likely for dinner. When you dine at enough places, ie recently at Zingermans Roadhouse and their appetizer portion of sweet potato fries that came out in a large basket hand cut and thick , enough for two people and it was 2 dollars more for than here, that were thin and a very meager portion you have to wonder. read more

We've traveled all over Ohio, Michigan and California tasting wine and Urban Pine Winery ranks at the bottom! Wine flights? Why yes but we will choose what your try...not sure how that is a legitimate way for a customer to choose what they would like to try. We've been here a few times since it's opened hoping that the quality of the wine and food would improve but sadly it continues to be bland at best. The servers are polite and attentive so they definitely have that going for them but until such time as the shop offers their customer some real options I don't think we will be coming back. Majestic Oak Winery is a little more rustics but a much better choice and way more affordable! read more

I'm in the area very often for business so I was looking forward to a nice winery to unwind at but this place was a waste of my time and money...first of all, it's located right off a major highway - nothing like enjoying a glass of wine while listening to the hums and horns of the trucks/cars flying by in the very near distance...not exactly what I'd expect for a winery, especially if you're seeking a more traditional, relaxing ambiance. This place has potential (and I wanted to love it!) but the service was extremely slow and, although I was a paying customer, I felt like I was imposing on the staff when asking for standard things that I really shouldn't have to even ask for. Also the prices aren't worth the poor experience - spend your money on a nice bottle of wine from the store and go sit in a park - I guarantee you'll have a much better experience. Went at noon today for wine and charcuterie as a light lunch. Was pleasantly surprised at the amount and selection on the board. Delicious! The chocolate board looked too tempting to pass up so even though we were quite full, we ordered it. They weren't kidding when they said :everything chocolate". The warm chocolate filled churros were delicious and we managed to put quite a dent in to the rest. Paired with Romeo wine which was excellent.
