I was a little wary about trying this place because reviews weren't the most flattering. And because I was unsure about ordering off the kiosk. But the worker/cook was super friendly greeting everyone that came in. And you could see him working hard in the kitchen. And I ended up really enjoying my meal! Honestly, downsides are that the portions are on the smaller side, especially for the price they're at. And the meat I got in my bowl was kind of on the dry side. But the pho broth is so flavorful, that I didn't mind too much. We also tried the side of fried rice, and it was so addicting. It's so smoky without being burnt or too salty. Tbh this would be one of my top spots to go to after a late night since they stay open so long or even when dealing with a hangover. The plain broth is light but still flavorful. And they have fried eggs on the menu. And low-key this could be a spot to get work done too. The tables are small enough that it isn't weird to just take one to yourself, and they have wifi.

The pho soup here is great! The customer service here is also great. One of my favorite things about this place is the hours of operation(9am-12am). I would highly recommend trying this place out if you're into pho soup.

I tried Urban Vietnamese last week for the first time. I met a friend for dinner. You order to the left after entering using a tablet. It took me a little while, but I figured it out. My friend ordered fried wontons and shared them with me, and I'm so glad she did. They were the best wontons I've ever tasted! They were fresh and crispy and stuffed with cream cheese, scallions and red pepper flakes. And they paired perfectly with the sauce. I ordered Bo Vien, pho with meatballs, and a Thai milk tea. The bowl included rice noodles, beef broth, pan seared meatballs, cilantra, culantro, basel and bean sprouts topped with jalapenos. It was tasty and filling! I only ate half and saved the rest for the next day. The Thai tea was refreshing and yummy. I highly suggest giving them a try!

UV is more of a fast casual (there's even kiosk at front to order) take on Vietnamese food. It's more of a modern twist to many beloved classics. Portions were a bit small and more expensive than typical Vietnamese food nonetheless we still wanted to give it a go. Ordered - Spring Rolls (4/5). Hard to mess up, came with three rolls which was appreciated - Pho Special (3.5/5). Broth was flavorful. Didn't have too much meat though - Bun Special (4/5). This was good and fresh. Egg rolls tasted different and were average. Needed more fish sauce to complete the dish. - Rice Platter Special (2/5). Disappointing. Looked like the Bun Special but less with not too much rice. Didn't have the pork chop or fried egg that you normally would see This is good if you're looking for healthy lunch alternatives during work or crave Vietnamese food. Not necessarily the most affordable option though

This restaurant is really a hidden gem, and I'm glad I came back to give them another chance. The last time we were here, it was mid afternoon, and it took almost an hour for us to get our food for takeaway. This time, we ordered and sat down. We didn't have any expectations, so we were pleasantly surprised that is has improved so much. The noodles were tangy, sweet an spicy. The rice was good. The rice paper for the spring roll was nice and chewy, filled with crisp vegetables. I think my most favourite item on the menu is the Vietnamese coffee. Rich, creamy, and slightly sweet. It is the perfect compliment to the meal.

Stop looking for that lunch or dinner restaurant- you've found it! Urban Vietnamese is fast and casual but their food is so complex and tasty! We got tofu pho and shrimp fried rice and they were . Literally so good that I had to unbutton my pants wished I lived here so I could come here more! Also staff were so nice!!

Lunchtime at work has rolled around again and in looking for something new on my delivery app, I finally decided to try this place out. I had been having cravings for spring rolls but I felt guilty for only ordering those. This time around I ordered these with grilled pork and peanut sauce and a rice bowl also with grilled pork with carrot, daikon, tomato, cucumber, K's BBQ sauce, and added mango. Everything looked really good when I received it. Maybe I'm just greedy, but I wished the spring rolls had more meat in them. Other than that, they were very good. I will say that the peanut sauce that I ordered with it was much thicker and creamier than what I'm used to but it still worked with the rolls. The grilled pork rice bowl was delicious. All the ingredients tasted so fresh and I had a surplus of rice left over. Another meal for another day. Thanks UV!

I got the Chef's Special Pho and it was AMAZING! The broth had so much flavor and depth to it. Portioned well and all of the meat was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back.

Grand Opening today (4/19/22) fast, casual Vietnamese food

Cinco de Mayo calls for Cinco the Grand Opening of UV Urban Vietnamese. It is a fast casual Vietnamese restaurant, which is the closest Vietnamese type shop in the Town Center area. Menu is pretty simple and there is a variety of foods to choose from; Phos, Bahn Mi sandwiches, Rice dishes. Sadly, due to supply chain issues, their Bahn Mis are not available at this time. But don't fret, there's other items on the menu to choose from. Additionally they are running a Grand Opening special where you get 10% off the entire order through the month of May. Just a reminder, today is their first day of Opening. It took awhile for us to receive our food and there were errors with our orders. Woosah!!! Woosah!!! The wait is worth it.

I stopped here around 2 PM and there was no one inside. Obviously on Saturday around this time most people are at brunch, so I took great advantage of the fact that I would be able to have the restaurant to myself. The service was very friendly and nice. I ordered the Pho Bo with cooked beef. It came out less than 10 minutes later. This literally hit the spot for my full day of hanging out at the museum earlier and shopping ahead. The pho was very flavorful and they give you a hearty portion - definitely enough for leftovers. Even though it was so hot that I burnt my tongue, I could not stop slurping the delicious broth. The only thing I did not like about this dish was the fact that there was not enough meat. I do see that on the menu. There's a surcharge for extra meat in the soup, but I do feel like they were a little stingy on the tasty beef in my dish. The sprouts, basil, and jalapeños were fresh and they gave a good portion to add in. Overall, based on the delicious pho and great price I will be back for another visit.

Not just one or two items, but it looked like someone emptied a trash bag in their parking lot. The service was subpar. The guy kept saying he was new and was really nice, but didn't know the menu very well. The food was disappointing as well... I got the pho with tendon and brisket and I opted to pay an extra $1 for the fresh noodles, but totally not worth it. The brisket was chewy and some of the tendon was inedible (had to pay $2 extra ) . The broth had a chemical taste to it like they didn't rinse their pots thoroughly enough. The one good thing I can say about the place is that they offer a plethora of Asian noodle dishes from Vietnamese to Filipino to Thai to Chinese. If I ever do go back, I'll definitely try something different.

We had a gang meet up that included Goldie, Jimmy, Lea, Loan and myself. We get together each month to try a new restaurant, and of course, to enjoy each other's company. It's been a while since I had a Vietnamese meal and when I go, I'm always stuck on ordering something of the Vermicelli variety. Yep! That's what I did on this day. First off, I have to say that quality of the fresh veggies - lettuce, carrots, cucumber, etc., along with peanuts, were the best in freshness status I've ever seen in just about any restaurant. Between the appearance and the taste, they stand alone in this category. I wasn't worried about having the rolls with this meal, so I chose the B1a - grilled shrimp and pork. As a full bowl, the appearance and quality of the toppings over the noodles was stellar. The pork was chewy, but not in the range of the impossible to deal with. Just something that people who have difficulty chewing might wish to be aware of. There were three large pieces of shrimp that were tasty but a tad overcooked - not enough in any way to drop my score. With the fish sauce mixed, along with the bowl, it turned out to be a fantastic meal! Loan recommended we visit Q-Cup Boba Tea and it was totally worth visit! I will say that Loan's, Goldie's, jimmy's and Lea's offerings looked pretty amazing as well. The sub sandwich and beef cuts on Jimmy's meal looked superb! May have to try that one someday. I'll let them tell you about their meal in their reviews. This is a fantastic ma and pa shop. It's basic in appearance, not the most highly rated in decor. But I'm sure anyone who visits will be happy when they leave. Our server was great - took awesome care of us. I encourage readers to put this restaurant on their bookmarks list! Recommend: HIGH

Everything we had was super tasty! Upon walking in, we were greeted immediately and seated. Our waitress and waiter (we had two) were super sweet, attentive, and cheerful. I missed eating home cooked Vietnamese food so we decided to come and enjoy a meal here. Everything was clean (floors, tables, and bathroom). We had the following: Grilled pork summer rolls: 8.5/10 - fresh, bright, and full of veggies, vermicelli, pork, and a crunchy roll inside. It was so delicious! I love summer rolls and this hit the spot! The peanut dipping sauce went so well with the rolls. I loved how the rolls had so many great textures. Pho dac biet (combination): 7.5/10 - the broth was alot more flavorful and it came with a generous amount of meat (beef balls, sliced beef, tripe) and lots of fresh veggies (lime, cilantro, jalapeno, mint, bean sprouts). Last time when we went, the broth was lacking flavor but now, it's pretty good. Beef combo plate w/rice: 8 - the beef was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor! The lemongrass flavor wasn't strong or overpowering and they give you a good amount of beef. It came with white rice and pickled veggies (daikon, cucumber, and carrots) and fish sauce. Again, super flavorful and I actually cleaned the plate! The only small critique was that I thought the meat was going to be like short ribs and the waitress confirmed it was, but it wasn't. Avocado smoothie: 8/10 - I love avocado smoothies and its hard to find a place that makes it right. Here, it was absolutely perfect! The avocado's flavor really shined. Most places would make it way too sweet and you can't taste the avocado. However, I was able to taste the fresh avocado and the sweetness was on point.
