Pick 2 with double spicy tuna
    Mila C.

Service: it's really easy to get in line and build your poke bowl, and the staff is nice and helps make recommendations or explains (they told me the spicy miso sauce was salty and asked if that was ok) Food: yummy and fresh! The pick 2 option was plenty and could have definitely shared or taken the rest to go. We both didn't finish. I would do my order again! Getting double spicy tuna is the way to go! (FYI in case you didn't know you can double up)

My go-to for poke is Uroko Poke. I used to drive to the Costa Mesa location, but I'm so lucky that they opened one down the street from where I live a couple of years ago. Whenever I crave poke, I can just pop on by and get it. The service is great and the place is clean. I always get the 3 scoops. I like their tuna, salmon, and yellow tail. Everything is fresh.

A great spot for poke in Tustin. There's plenty of parking available in the lot. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available at this location. I had previously been to the Costa Mesa location and was glad that there's now a location closer to me. There are plenty of options for toppings and everything is put together in front of you. They use good quality fish as well as the rest of their ingredients. The toppings have to be 6 different items so you can't get double of something, but the scoop sizes for each of the toppings were decent. It was fairly crowded the night that we went but they were able to keep the line moving. It's a very satisfying meal and I really enjoyed how customizable it was.

This Poke spot was recommended to me by a friend. This is an amazing place to get some quality poke! There were a lot of fish selections and the fish tasted fresh with nice cuts of fish. They load the bowl with good size helpings, some places don't give you much but here they fill you up with higher quality options. The people working there were very helpful and friendly. I will be back! I truly enjoyed my bowl.

First time here & I loved it! Staff were super friendly and gave my group & I time to look over the menu. I got the 2 scoop bowl. As you can see, I PACKED mine. Price didn't change. This picture was taken after I had already started eating. It might not look super fresh but it TASTED super fresh. The ginger, the salmon, the guac, all of it was so good. Deff will be coming back. The outside seating by the water fountain was a nice touch, plus it was a breezy spring day.

Fish is always fresh, and restaurant is always clean. I usually get the 2-fish bowl with yellowtail and albacore (sometimes tuna), and that is already a LOT of food for me. Their toppings are all very good - I like the avocado and masago the most! Very consistent in their quality and flavor.

    Mysha F.

Generous portions and fresh fish! Avocado was surprisingly creamy and fresh as well. I got a mix of brown and white rice - they give ALOT of rice and the sauce was delicious too. A bit pricey on uber eats, would recommend picking up in store for the best bang for your buck!

Cannot go wrong with poke where you choose your own toppings! Fish tastes fresh and delicious :) Reasonable prices for poke these days. Uroko is chipotle style. Create your bowl, find a seat, clean up after yourself. Staff is friendly and everything moves quick. This is the perfect spot for a quick bite, to go, or meeting a friend. Would 100% come again! lots of toppings = lots of flavor!

3-scoop bowl for $16 was a satisfying meal

I believe this spot used to be Bardot, but it's been transformed to become the bright and airy Uroko Poke. Much like the one in Costa Mesa, you get in line to order your base, proteins, add-ins, sauces, and toppings. I enjoy the variety of fish offered at Uroko, and the 3-scoop bowl at $16 was enough to fill me up when I was starving after work. I got salmon, ahi, and yellowtail on a bed of half brown rice and half salad. The fish chunks are quite small, but I'm just happy when they don't skimp on the size of the scoops. I went with mild Uroko Original sauce and asked for spicy mayo on the side. The combo with savory flavors and varying textures made for a pretty satisfying meal. All of the ladies working there were efficient and friendly. I appreciated seeing that they were on top of restroom maintenance, too. There are tables inside and outside, and a clean water dispenser with cups and napkins are provided. Free parking is available in the plaza, and a nearby spot was easy to snag on a weekday afternoon. Just be aware of the one-way turns throughout the lot.

Enjoy the diverse options for protein. Toppings are good too. Tasted Fresh. Workers could've bit more friendly is only complaint. Clean interior. Very quick like a chipotle style line and inside.

Love when Yelp plays matchmaker for me to find the spots. I think I found my favorite Poke spot. Uroko Poke offers generous portions at a reasonable price. Their poke is large and fresh, alongside many side options. Ordering is easy! You can go on their website, and choose your side, toppings, poke, sauce, etc. They have options to add any extra toppings or protein, but even their smallest option is a generous size. Once the poke was customized to my liking, I have to say everything tasted so good! My bowl felt healthy and fresh, with no greasy feelings after. Can't wait to eat here again

My friends persuaded me to give Uroko poke another chance after my average experience at the Cypress location (a few years ago) and I was pleasantly surprised at the Tustin location. I ordered a poke bowl with five scoops of fish and rice as my base. My friend got half rice half chips and I think she unlocked the cheat code to the perfect poke bowl. It was a $20 bowl but they really STACKED it up. The fish quality was good and this one bowl basically lasted me two meals. The sauces are simple, but tasty. There's plenty of seating if you want to dine in, a nice parking lot in front, and a free water station as well. Another big plus is that it's open until 10 PM. A lot of my local poke places close around 7/8 PM so if I want to get late night poke, this would be the perfect spot to hang out and chill. I can definitely see people coming in to study or work too. Next time, I'm trying those poke nachos!

I haven't had uroko in a long time, so I was pretty excited to try it again! It seemed like this Tustin location is fairly new, which it's located in a nice quiet plaza with plentyyyy of parking. I enjoyed how they have the option for indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean and ingredients taste quite fresh. I contemplated on getting avocado but it looked like it had aged from being out haha. Otherwise, the fish was good, ingredients were good. I got a 2 scoop for $15.00 which is pretty reasonable for the quality they have. Definitely better than like Ahipoki haha.

Uroko poke was close by with good food. I like their program of having people write their orders on the check sheet so that everyone gets exactly what they want. I built my bowl with a half white rice, half salad base and chose crab, spicy crab, avocado, white onion, cucumber, and corn for the toppings. I appreciated that avocado didn't cost extra. For protein, I went with double salmon and eel. The salmon tasted fresh and was easily the best part of the bowl. The eel was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. I had it all with the Wasapon sauce, which added a nice creamy kick without overpowering everything else. I also added green onions, fried onions, garlic chips, and masago. The only thing I'd point out is that the masago portion was pretty small, and extra costs more. We didn't try any of the drinks, although they had a decent selection available. The total was a little pricier than I'd usually like for poke, but signing up for their rewards brought the price down enough that it felt more reasonable. Parking was easier than expected. The lot was almost full, but we still found a spot without much trouble. Service was friendly and efficient throughout. Overall, it's a solid poke spot with fresh fish, plenty of customization options, and quick service. Not the cheapest bowl you'll find, but I'd come back, especially for the salmon.

I walk up to the counter and the kid working there--who looked like he was barely out of middle school and couldn't even bother to take his airpods out--asks what I want. I look at the menu board, which is incredibly confusing, and I just order the Spicy Ahi bowl because I like a little kick to my food. I figure it's like a spicy chicken or cooked fish taco bowl. I watch the guy scoop some rice, put some vegetables in, and then he reaches into a container and scoops out a bunch of pink cubes. I thought maybe it was marinated tofu or something that was going to get popped into a microwave or a toaster oven behind the counter. But no. He just slaps a lid on it and hands it to me. I took it to a table, opened it up, and picked up a piece with my fork. It felt cold. And slimy. I took a bite, and my jaw hit the floor. IT WAS COMPLETELY RAW FISH. I walked right back up to the counter and told the manager, "Hey bud, you forgot to cook my lunch. This fish is completely raw, it's a major health hazard." The kid literally looks at me, blinks, and says, "Sir, it's poke. It's supposed to be raw." Are you kidding me?! I don't care what hip millennial trend you call it, you cannot serve people uncooked seafood in this country! I asked to speak to a manager, and some young woman comes out and tries to explain to me that poke is a traditional Hawaiian dish of raw marinated fish. I told her I don't care if it's from Hawaii or the moon, I am not trying to get salmonella or a tapeworm on my lunch break. I work hard for my money, and I expect my food to pass through a heat source before it hits my plate! They refused to put it in an oven or even a microwave for me, and they wouldn't give me a refund because they said the food was prepared correctly. Unbelievable. I ended up throwing the entire $18 bowl right into the trash can and going to the restaurant down the street where they actually understand how to cook meat. Save your hard-earned money and avoid this place at all costs unless you want a one-way ticket to the emergency room for food poisoning. I will be contacting the local health department first thing Monday morning. Utterly ridiculous.

Like Gene, the serrano ahi poke bowl with wontons was the "go to" for every visit. Another fan favorite was the guac-poke with wontons. Well, wontons were removed from the menu altogether, and the serving size of the ahi is half of what it used to be. Not sure if this was a local decision or corporate decision, but it was a bad one! Second faux pas on the new menu is the removal of black beans with the taco plate. Now your options are fries or a salad. Who orders fries or salad with tacos? Black beans are so cheap. Even if you charge $1 for them, you're making money. Doesn't make sense to remove them. Oh, and the 3 taco plate is no longer an option. You can only get 2 tacos now. Third questionable decision ... eliminating the miso salad. The bartender told me that the house salad on the menu is the same as the miso salad. They mean the same thing. When the runner delivered what I thought was the miso salad, it looked different. So I asked her if this was the miso salad. She said no, that is no longer on the menu. So .... ya. Another big change for me was the removal of my favorite wine, the chenin blanc. The other whites are subpar IMO and not worth the drive over there ... especially with all these really poor menu changes. So now you know why I'm looking for a new happy place. If you know of any open air, fresh fish places, please DM me. Thanks! P.S. I went back and forth between giving 2 stars and 3 stars. The employees here are really exceptional. And I didn't think it was fair to give the whole restaurant 2 stars because their culinary executive is absolutely clueless.

We ordered the following: Agedashi Tofu: This was honestly the highlight of the meal. I have been craving this appetizer, but not many places around here actually offer it. The last place I tried this was at Haku, and I was not impressed by it. However, the tofu here was really good! It was hot, crispy, and the sauce was perfectly sweet and salty. It comes with 4 larger sized pieces of tofu, which I thought was great, but could have been more for the price. Stir Fry Udon: This dish was advertised outside on one of their stand up signs by the front door. This is part of what brought us in, but upon receiving it, I was not too impressed. The sauce was extremely dark and it already looked salty. When I actually tasted it, I was not surprised that it tasted exactly how it looked. It was way too salty and saucey to the point, we were eating one bite then drinking water right after. It was a pretty simple dish with what looked like frozen carrots and peas and some cut up chicken. Lunch Bento Box Option 2: We opted in for the teriyaki salmon, gyoza, and salmon roll. It came with a side of salad and miso soup. The salmon was cut very thin and it did not have enough teriyaki sauce on it. It was on the dry side. The gyoza was nothing too special. Just felt frozen then dried with gyoza sauce. Miso soup and salad were also just decent. The best part of this meal probably had to be the salmon roll. I liked the big portions of salmon and the little rice on the outside. This was the perfect balance instead of just getting a mouthful of rice each bit like most other sushi places do. I think this place was decent, overall. The prices were definitely on the higher side for what you get. Nothing too much to rave about other than the agedashi tofu, so I will be by for that again, but not sure if I would necessarily get anything else. Service was attentive and great. Just know, not all their offerings are actually listed on the menu, so we did not even know how much the stir fry udon was until we got charged for it.

We tried a few other items as well, but they didn't quite stand out and were a bit on the salty side for my taste. On the plus side, their sushi rolls had a great balance, not too much rice compared to the amount of fish, which I appreciated. They also offer some solid lunch specials, which is a nice option if you're stopping by during the day. It was very quiet when we visited, we were actually the only ones there, so I'm curious to see if it gets more lively at other times. I'd be open to giving it another try in the future.
