I loved the uroko on Bristol when I worked in Costa Mesa. Been to this new location a few times now. (Same shopping center as cream pan) They have good portions and I like how tax is included in the price. Large poke bowl comes out to $19 exactly. The interior of this new restaurant is spacious, clean and inviting. Both times that I visited the restaurant the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The fish tasted a little bland the last time I went, which was a bit disappointing. I like this place, but it's probably not going to be my number one choice when I have a poke craving. read more

Not trying to be a Karen because I love this place but the owners really need to hone in on some issues. This used to be the PLACE. The last two years I have lived in Tustin, I probably came here 3 times a month. At least. It was SO good. However, the last 3 times I have gone there...it is absolutely awful. They definitely have new staff, and it appears they got rid of a lot of the prior people (probably because they are opening a new location). A new location isn't an excuse to go down hill. I went a few weeks ago and I paid for 3 scoops. The woman who made the bowl put less than what I always get with 2 scoops. There was hardly any fish, I paid 16 bucks for rice basically. Then, the next time I went, the guy put so many fucking vegetables I felt like I was a rabbit. And it was so dry and no sauce cause the vegetables and onion was insane amount. Don't open new locations if you can't keep the quality you have. Probably going to take a break and come back in December to see if they fix it. Still gave 3 stars since they still include avocado without a charge, but seriously, the new staff needs to be trained on the scoops. Uroko is my go to poke spot but I usually go to their Costa Mesa location. Came to check out their new Tustin location. It was kind of hidden in a quiet plaza so it wasn't busy when I went in around 12 pm. Got their 2 scoop bowl and it did not disappoint. Fish tasted fresh as always and my favorite part is that you could add avocados and crab meat as a side with no additional cost. They also gave me a free miso soup since it was raining that day which tasted hot and fresh. Highly recommend Uroko if you're looking for good quality poke in OC. read more

Now THIS is a poke spot!! Upon entering, the young ladies working were SUPER welcoming and greeted us with a smile. They seemed excited to build some quality poke bowls. It was super clean and had no fishy smell at all. The set up is "chipotle style", you order as you go down the assembly line. They have some really good options to build out the perfect bowls with some unique sauces. Avocado is actually included in the price, which is awesome! Both of our bowls were super good and we truly enjoyed it! To top it off, the pricing is REALLY food for how much food you get and how delicious everything is. Uroko Poke is both the better poke in the Tustin/Irvine area but also one of the worst at the same time. The good: I like the portion sizes for the price. Seems reasonable. There is a good selection of toppings that you can add to your bowl. The pieces of protein are usually fair enough in size but I do think they were a little bit on the smaller side when the Tustin location first opened. The bad: The quality of the rice is weirdly inconsistent. Two out of the last three visits over the past month and a half have yielded severely undercooked rice. Do you like crunchy rice? I sure don't. This is largely the dealbreaker that will probably keep me from coming back any time soon. It's a third of the bowl so it stands out if the rice isn't right. If the rice is right, then it's my favorite build-your-own poke restaurant. But until they figure out consistency, I will probably stay away unless I have a specific craving. read more

This is my new poke spot in Tustin. Aside from Poke tiki, I highly recommend coming here. Their poke bowls are so fresh! They have so much options and what really sets them apart is that they have yellow tail. Most poke spots don't even have that option. I love that it's so different and it's super fresh. Their sauces are really good. The best part of their restaurant is that they don't charge for avocado. I don't mind driving an extra 5 mins coming here. Service is amazing. The staff is always friendly, and I gotta say, Pedro in particular really makes the experience stand out--he's super chill, knows his stuff, and always makes sure you're taken care of. Came here on their soft grand opening, and I do have to say their poke is pretty bomb. It's located in the corner of the shopping center, hard to miss once you get to the fountain. The place looks super inviting and the customer service is amazing. When ordering I thought that three items were going to be too little for me, so I decided to get the five, and boy was I wrong. Those scoops are deceiving, and they will have you full before you know it. My personal favorite was the yellowtail. Overall, this place was a nice visit. Standard on any good quality pokey place. So excited to find out they opened a new location! Uroko Poke has always been my favorite poke place for its portion, toppings, and price. I came on their grand opening day, and the service was fast, and the ingredients were fresh as usual. The place was not as big as the one in Costa Mesa but still had plenty of indoor seating. The only difference I noticed is they only use to-go containers at this location. So if you order half rice and half salad, you might not get as much salad as you can get at the Costa Mesa location due to the container size versus the plate they use in Costa Mesa. The toppings and amount of fish are the same though, so not a big deal. Would come back again as this location is closer, and no poke places can beat Uroko for their price and ingredient quality. I remember this shop having their first location in Costa Mesa so it's great to see they've expanded to Tustin! It was my first time at this location and wow they were busy this Friday night. I got the bowl with 2 scoops. I liked the many topping options they have, but it looks like you're only limited to 6. For my fish, I got spicy salmon and yellowtail and paired it with the extra spicy original sauce. It's a bit more on the expensive side, but the bowl itself was really good and filling! There's plenty of seating indoors and outside. Water is self serve and you ask for additional sauce on the side. It's tucked away in downtown Tustin and there's a parking lot with plenty of spots so you don't have to look for one. The workers there are friendly and still provide great service, even when it's super busy. read more

Ahhh I'm so excited for another Uroko location!! Came by for Cream Pan, but we saw that Uroko was also in the same plaza so we had to stop by! We LOVE the CM location and so happy to see another one pop up! From the outside, it looks small but very spacious inside. Lots of seating and very modern! The employees who helped my bf and I were all very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The portions here are also comparable to the CM location and fish is just as fresh! We accidentally stopped by on their grand opening day, so we got $2 off each of our bowls. I got a 2 scoop bowl and my bf got a 3 scoop bowl, both ending up being $26, which is really good! I've always been meaning to try Uroko, and with a new location opening up near my place, I finally decided to check it out after hearing all the raves about their Costa Mesa spot. The restaurant is tucked away in the corner of the plaza. There's plenty of seating inside, as well as some outdoor seating for when you want to enjoy the fresh air. Service is quick and easy, and they're happy to serve you. I ordered the large bowl with five scoops of fish: salmon, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna. Unfortunately, the spicy tuna didn't quite hit the spot for me--maybe I've just had bad luck with spicy tuna. But the spicy salmon definitely made up for it. Overall, it's a solid spot to satisfy a poke craving, but not one that I'd rave about. The serving size is great, though. I got a couple of sauces on the side--spicy mayo and wasabi mayo. The wasabi mayo was a standout for me--light, creamy, and with just the right touch of wasabi flavor. All in all, it's a good spot to check out when you're in the mood for poke. read more

A great poke place that opened up closer to home! Compared to other places, their price is much more affordable with the quantity they provide. They aren't tight with their portioning. I ordered a 5 protein bowl for 20 dollars and my girlfiriend got the 3 Protein for 17. The fish is incredibly fresh and tender and yummy. My complaint with fish sometimes is it can be rough or chewy but there was none of that. I got 3 scoops of tuna, 1 scoop of salmon, and 1 scoop of shrimp. I split my bowl with broccoli and rice and added the complimentary scoops of crab meat and spicy crab meat. The spicy crab meat actually took me by suprise with a slight kick to it! They also don't charge for avacado which is super rare to see! They also had Eel as an option which was very interesting because it isn't a popular option at poke places. Overall the food was amazing and the worker was actually super kind and helpful. The inside is pretty nice with good seating options. They have options also for outdoor seating which is nice! Compared to the Costa Mesa location, it is a more bright decor with white walls. Great experience and will definitely be coming here whenever I crave poke! read more
