Horrible! This company completely ruined what should have been a fun and memorable night. We specifically asked for a PARTY BUS and received PHOTOS of a PARTY BUS and expected a party bus experience. What showed up was nothing like what was represented. Had accurate photos and descriptions been provided, we never would have booked in the first place. They promised a party bus with leather seating, music, lights, bottled water and a professional driver. What arrived looked like an old handicap van with none of the above mentioned included. What a huge disappointment! What made the situation even worse was how they handled our concerns afterward. Instead of taking responsibility, apologizing, or attempting to make things right, they repeatedly blamed us, accused us of "complaining," and even demanded that we apologize for their mistake. Their entire focus was arguing over whether the vehicle was technically a "mini bus" instead of addressing the fact that it was not what was advertised. ( we have all the messages showing what they promised ) The issue was never the name of the vehicle. The issue was being misled about what we were paying for and then being treated with complete disrespect when we raised legitimate concerns. We have a full list out of what their 'mini bus' was supposed to include and it was NOTHING like what arrived. We spent our hard-earned money expecting a certain experience for a special occasion, and the company failed to deliver. The lack of accountability and customer service afterward was honestly more disappointing than the vehicle itself. I'm only giving one star because I cannot submit my review without it. I would give 0 stars if I could . Sam the owner told us for 100 dollars more I can upgrade you to a hummer limo -- I was excited about this. The limo shows up .. it was disgusting, the AC did not work and it was strange to see a full bucket of water next to the driver. On the way to the wedding venue the car was going very slow and it kept jerking . The first time the car stalled was right before the bridge, leaving Staten Island (about 8 mins from pick up location). The driver poured the bucket of water over the car engine and proceeded to drive over the bridge going 15-20 MPH with no air conditioner. They finally made it over the bridge (thank God) and after a minute the vehicle finally broke down.. this is where the driver used the second bucket of water to pour over the engine once again. He knew this was going to happen-- who drives around with buckets of water ? The groom, groomsmen, groomsmen parents and grandparent were stranded on the side of the highway right after the bridge (thank God they made it over the bridge). My younger brother who is disabled and uses a wheel chair is now on the side of the highway in 90 degree weather. My husband is now late to our wedding. Uber doesn't stop on the side of a major Highway road . They were all Sweating on the side of the highway trying to figure a plan. The worst part of this all was the driver refusing to give any of his passengers an update throughout the entire incident. He would only speak to his boss (Sam) over the phone and refused to communicate with anyone else or answer questions -- This made everyone nervous; they felt so unsafe and panicked. Because everyone was so panicked, scared, confused, anxious and upset --my husband, most of his groomsmen, his parents and his grandpa decided to hitchhike to the wedding venue so they could arrive as sooner. Yes---- they felt more comfortable getting a lift with strangers. I still wouldn't have felt so betrayed by the company and would have let this go if the owner (Sam) was apologetic. My husband, brothers, parent in laws and grandpa along with his other groomsmen arrived late to our wedding. They arrived looking scared and upset. When I asked for a refund for the one vehicle that he tricked me into paying 100 dollars more for, Sam responded rudely and unprofessional stating that he delivered a service. I would never want another bride and groom to go through this experience --- it ruined the first few hours of my wedding (which every girl dreams of her whole life). Once I found out my husband was stranded on the side of the highway with my disabled brother and elderly grandfather I started crying .. You plan for this day for so long and you invest so much time and money into it --and for this company to not even acknowledge their mistake or be apologetic for their actions is just so disheartening. When I expressed my concerns to Sam he said --it's in the contract that he is not responsible if the vehicle breaks down on the road -- I could understand this statement if it pertained to an unexpected incident such as a flat tire. Sam tricked me into upgrading to a faulty hummer. He sent out an unsafe vehicle for his clients and hoped for the best. Gave us a 20 person bus when we paid for a 34 Had to wait for the new bus to come back in the freezing cold After driving around for two hours in wrong bus and half the bus had to STAND. The first bus was filthy there was food and garbage all over it. Bottles of alcohol missing when things were transferred over to the new bus when we were at our one destination that we had scheduled. They told us we can't take poop in bathroom, basically gave us half a bathroom. There was no ice to begin with said he had to stop on the way for it even though it was supposed to be provided. Didn't follow pickup instructions. The bus had no heat and it was 12 degrees outside. The drivers defrost didn't work so every few minutes he would stop and one of my friends would have to wipe down the window. I have video and photo proof of anything I can possibly have from this list. OH! And I was forced to clean the bus myself after everyone got off. NOT IN THE CONTRACT. Also, the day of they tried to change the balance that I owed. I reserved a 1937 Rolls for my daughter's wedding. The Vehicle was amazing, and the driver was first class all around. While waiting for pictures with the car, the driver was explaining all the details of the vehicle and it's history. He told me that he drove it down from NY to Philadelphia that day and was driving it back that night. Did I mention that he was not leaving until after 11pm. This business needs to be reported to the police- they knowingly sent a hummer limo (after making the bride upgrade) to pick up the groom, his parents and groomsmen to be transported to their wedding venue the day of their wedding. The hummer limo had no AC and broke down leaving the groom and the rest of the party on the HIGHWAY. One of the groomsmen was in a wheelchair. After speaking to the owner a couple of days after, the owner admitted he knew the hummer had problems but his response was "what do you want me to do". Quick answer - Do NOT do business with this company. They are HORRIBLE, completely unprofessional, and are the epitome of a bait and switch operation. The story - I searched and searched for an antique Rolls Royce (RR) for my wedding. This company had that vehicle, so after doing my research on this company I felt "okay" booking with them. I talked to "Sam" (the "owner") via email to confirm that the photos on their website were that of the EXACT car that would be showing up on my wedding day (1959 Antique RR) . He confirmed that they were, so I booked. Keep in mind, I also needed a limo for my wedding day and if you book multiple cars thru them you get a discount, so I also booked their Chrysler limo. COVID hits, I reschedule everything with no fees, with the exception of the Chrysler limo not being available - I pay an additional fee for a larger limo, their stretch Cadillac limo. One month before my wedding I call them to confirm everything, "Sam" says "we're are good to go" and he will call me the week before the wedding to confirm pick up times. One week before the wedding - Sam calls as promised, but only confirms the RR. I ask him about he limo...he double checks my booking and then informs me that the limo is "broken down" and will not repaired in time for my wedding. I am very understanding, things break down, etc. But it would have been nice to not be surprised by this 7 days before the wedding. I ask Sam what the plan was now. He sends the two options they have available to me, a "party bus" and another limo that seats 7 less passengers than the limo I booked. Both of the vehicles were of significantly lesser quality than what I reserved, and were frankly an absolute downgrade, even after I paid an up-charge for a larger limo when I rescheduled. At this point I was very frustrated as I was not receiving a vehicle of equal quality to replace the limo that I had a CONTRACT for. Sam refused to refund by deposit, or to transfer the deposit to the balance of the RR. After fighting with him all day, he decided to transfer my deposit to an affiliate company with a comparable vehicle. I was happy with this resolution, but the issues didn't stop there. Day of the wedding - SURPRISE. The RR never showed up... well it did, but over an hour late. I was never called to be made aware of the delay, I just assumed it wasn't coming. I was planning to take the RR to the church with my dad, but it never showed, so a cousin drove me and my dad... definitely ruined what was supposed to be a special moment for my dad and I. After our ceremony, I was made aware that the RR was outside and was delayed due to bad weather. Okay... that is understandable, but a phone call would appreciated. THE STORY GETS BETTER! The car was NOTHING like the photos on their website, like I verified with Sam. It wasn't even the same model! The website shows what looks like a museum quality, clean car. This car was falling apart, at best. It was not vacuumed on the inside and reeked of gas fumes during the entire ride. The driver of the vehicle, although every nice, was dressed basically like he was going fishing... not in a suit, wearing a beanie. Seriously? I opted to pay what I could in cash when the driver arrived, $800. After the driver dropped us off at the reception I handed him the envelope with the cash... Sam confirmed in my contract that it was $800, I had a receipt. But no, the DRIVER says SAM said it was going to be $850... to avoid a scene I threw in the additional $50... but was very disappointed in EVERYTHING. Because the RR showed up late, it delayed me by 30/45 minutes. This delay then caused me to need to the limo for an additional hour... guess who got charged an additional $250 to their credit card for the additional hour that was caused by their tardiness? Me! I contacted Sam a few days following my wedding and got absolutely no money back, given some generic/lame response and asked to fill out a survey! Here is my survey, for everyone to see, grade F-. We had his college friends coming in to surprise him, and some meeting us at Peter Luger's where the party was to start. After frantically (AND NUMBEROUS) calls to the assigned driver he picked up and told us that he called to tell Sam (the owner) that he couldn't make it . That was the night before. Sam had the time to get it taken care of. He did not. SO NOT ONLY DID WE NOT GET A CALL. Please do not try to tell me you called and got through. A responsible business owner would leave a message or an email. He did not. We had to be in Great Neck (from Rockland) at 5:00. We had to scramble to rectify getting everyone there by 5. The entire purpose of the bus was to have all of us together so we did NOT have to drive and make it a real carefree celebration. HOW do you as a business owner have a conscious knowing there was a client stuck waiting like an idiot and you knew it the night before? Please do not play the religion card. I am very respectful of all religions, BUT if most of your clients are using limos on a Saturday and you have no office staff due to Shabbat, how do you run a business? How can you leave clients celebrating a momentous occasion waiting and you KNEW there was no one showing up. I don't care how many times you called on Sunday to apologize profusely, that was my husband you spoke with. Now you need to rectify it with me. You MESSED up a really important occasion. What if you were throwing your sons bar mitzvah and you had 25 people waiting and waiting and waiting. Exactly my point, not cool whatsoever. The unfortunate part was we would have thrown lots of business your way but your loss and secondly why would you not pay to have an answering service on your day of rest to answer phones for situations that come up. Yes things happen like a limo braking down or being late because of traffic etc. and yes even if they cant find a driver and let you know. However Sam (the owner) knew they didn't have a driver the night before and never told us. If he says it's because of Shabbos then that it another reason why you should not use them. As my wife said, most limo business is on Friday's & Saturdays and they are unreachable during those times, how can they possibly rectify problems? The shuttle showed up slightly later than the first pickup time, and then was an hour and a half late for the second round. We all ended up having to get Ubers and Lyfts instead and were so late to the wedding that we walked in BEHIND THE BRIDE. Then on the way back to the hotel, the driver had the nerve to complain about no one being at the hotel when he went back the first time (mind you, he arrived for the second round apparently AFTER THE WEDDING STARTED). If I could I would give 0 stars. This was an awful experience for my daughters wedding day. We paid for 2 buses to take guests from the hotel to the venue. One bus showed up and since the 2nd bus showed up 30 min late, all but 2 of the remaining guests had already Ubered to the venue. On the return trip 1 bus was supposed to make 2 trips back to the hotels from the venue, 1 at 10:30 when the wedding ended and the 2nd at 11:20 when the after party ended. The driver who should have arrived at 10:15 for a 10:30 departure arrived at 10:53. Again the remaining guests who did not get on the 1st trip of the bus ended up calling an Uber so that they wouldn't have to wait until midnight for the bus to return back. This night time trip included the driver taking the bride and groom to their hotel which didn't happen so they as well had to get an Uber. When I called and spoke to the office manager he fought us on our experience and wouldn't allow us to speak with constant interruptions as if our complaint meant nothing to him. So unprofessional. Firstly, I've never felt inclined to write a review on Yelp before, but I feel it is my duty to save any poor souls from this sham of a company. I'm assuming all the 5 star reviews are from fake accounts set up by the employees at this company because this "company" is a joke. I booked a party bus for 6 hours for a concert. 4 of those to be waiting in the parking lot while we're at the concert. I confirmed with the company any and all details at least 3 separate times to avoid any confusion on the day of. I rented the bus to have a good time and for ease of getting to and from. I had it booked to get picked up a certain location in Manhattan, dropped off at MetLife Stadium in NJ for the concert and driven back to a different location in the Manhattan. The driver (Jose) first dropped us off at the ending location and I had to explain we were going to NJ to his shock and horror. He eventually drives us there and we arrive 45 minutes late. Not a big deal, we just missed one of the opening acts. We get dropped off in the parking lot and I exchange numbers with him and we ask a parking attendant what lot he should go to and where we will be picked up in. It ended up being a rainy night and as were exiting a full on downpour commences. I call the driver to see what lot we can sprint to. He says he is in a long line of traffic waiting to get back into the parking lot. I ask why he had left the parking lot in the first place and he starts yelling at me about how he had to leave. For what reason? To get a cheeseburger? He got bored? I'm still wondering too. As we are standing in the pouring rain waiting for another 20 minutes I call again. He doesn't pick up the phone after maybe 20 calls and I'm starting to panic. He eventually answers and after about an hour and a half of running around in the rain I go find him myself, we get the unapologetic driver to drive us back to the city. He also asked us for toll money when the toll charge was broken out specifically on the original invoice. After this whole ordeal I call the company to explain the situation and my dissatisfaction on how it was handled. The employees first tell me that their boss is on vacation for over a month. I kindly state I do not want to wait a month to get this resolved. Sam, their boss, calls me later in the day to talk about the issue. He begins the call by saying how dedicated he is for calling me on his time off. I'm internally wondering why you don't have any backup to deal with these situations if you are able to take a month sabbatical from your job? He goes on to tell me that it's obvious I needed to buy a parking permit for my driver to stay and 80% of their customers know this. I had previously asked 3 separate times if the driver was fine to stay and wait in the parking lot. I've taken party buses for this type of event before and they were able to wait in the parking lot. Silly me for thinking they had built in the parking permit to the $1,200 invoice. And if we had needed to separately buy a parking permit we should have been told and we obviously would have. After a long conversation of Sam mainly yelling at me and cutting me off before I finished speaking, he asked what I wanted him to do. I said I would like a partial refund of some sort because this was not the service I expected and I paid over $1,000 for the package. He laughed and said he could give me a $50 voucher and 10% of the next time I booked. Thanks but no thanks Sam. I won't be booking with this company ever again. Save yourself and book with literally any other party bus rental company on the planet. Sam is a joke. This company is a joke. Maybe this whole experience is a joke that I just wasn't let in on? We used A party bus to transport adults to a wedding. Even after calling the week of service to confirm the pick up time the driver arrived 40 minutes late with attitude like it did not matter. Then at the event he told us if we did not pay the balance in cash he would not move the bus. The main office was poor on communication and we happily would have paid the balance in advance if that was what they had asked for. Holding us for ransom was not cool. This had nothing to do with not having enough people but all to do with lack of transparency and deceit as refund/cancellation policy was not stated on website or told to me by representative before I booked and I spoke of my apprehension due to the destination. Plans failed for a night in the city because of size of party actually. The very next day within 24 hours of booking when I read confirmation email is when I read full disclosures from your company. About one month ago my friend got married and hired this limo service. Drivers were on time, however refused to leave for at least 25 minutes because he argued with the groom about a balance he ALREADY paid in advance. Which made us late. The driver went to the wrong place when going back to pick up girls... which made us even more late. The ceremony started hour late because of this. The Rolls Royce the bride and groom ordered for after the ceremony had no air conditioning on a very hot day, leaving the bride to look like she's been through hell when she finally got dropped off at the venue. The hummer was pretty nice inside however out main goal was to put on music and dance in the limo (safer than going into clubs with Covid though we stopped shortly at 2 rooftop bars) well, the music system did not work!! Our driver Owen was professional throughout the whole trip and the manager Sam followed up before and after the trip to ensure everything was up to our liking. I recently rented a 26p bus for my husbands 40th Birthday. I was a bit upset when the bus arrived and it was not the one I thought I had order, but it was a good size for our group and very pretty. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. My wife and I utilized their Charter Bus and Limo services for our wedding. The Charter Bus was good--minor issue but nothing worth noting. Limo: The exterior of the limo was nice but the interior was old with minor tears. When we were heading to the venue I asked 3 times for the air to be turned on. During which, the lights on the roof flickered on and off. Once the air was running a few sections of lights continued flickering. I was embarrassed because this limo was a 4/10 and I picked this to drive our wedding party, my in-laws, my parents, and my wifes grandmother. I expected much better. Limo Driver: Unprofessional, to say the least. He didn't carry himself well, dressed like a slob, and asked my wife "How am I getting paid?" which was rude and unprofessional. Additionally, he asked several of my guests for a tip simply by saying "tip". The limo cost $865.80 for a total of 5 hours PLUS I still did my part and tipped the driver $120.00. To conclude, I contacted US Bargin Limo with my comments and mentioned how unhappy I was. Below is their reply: "We do not provide refund if service provided If every little thing customer will call for a refund we will be out of business , we do have expenses as well And actually we gave you a discount for the additional 2 hours , normally its $125 each additional hr , we charged you only $100 each hour We only can get you a discount on any next reservation for your inconvenience Thank You Sam" read more
