Usually, the turnaround is speedy, but all through busy times, I've determined a 1-2 day delay. Although their fees are a little extra than those of cut price stores, the attention they take with specialized objects--like my wool coat--justifies the rate. I have been a customer since 2017, by far it's only gotten worse with the service at the front desk. Dropped off my garments and i accidentally had left my wallet in one of the pants, I headed back to ask the staff to get it. They claimed my pants had been looked through, and they found nothing. Couple of hours later, I get a call saying they had found my wallet. (What a coincidence) I drove back again and they handed it back to me, I had counted the cash I carried the day before. I was missing 100$ ! I told the staff I was more than sure I was missing the money, which made me more skeptical about it, since they confirmed they had looked through all my garments. I told them in case they stole it, to see as a reward for giving me back my wallet. Whoever thought they could keep it, eventually changed their mind. Instead of keeping all the money, they returned it but helped themselves with a hundred bucks! read more

2 months ago I brought in a leather item with a small stain. They said we will send it out and see if they can get the stain out... they sent it out, didn't remove the stain and changed the color of the entire item. basically ruined it. They charged me $65 for this!!! Offered me no reimbursement for the ruined garment. I've requested to speak to the manager several times and they say he'll call me... I'm still waiting. I should not have been charged and instead should have be compensated. I don't recommend. read more

Shrunk several garments. Asked them to dry clean my clothes only, not launder. But I learned recently that they were laundering the clothes anyway. They ruined several thousand dollars worth of clothing by shrinking them. When I confronted them, they wouldn't get the manager or provide any redress. read more

I come to pick up the shirt and the stain was the exact same, if not, worse than it was before. The best part is that they charged me $8 for doing nothing to the shirt. I've been a client of US Cleaners for over 10 years. I became a customer when I lived off Greenville Ave and continued frequenting their business even after I moved downtown. I can't speak for the quality of their work, I honestly never cared. What kept me coming back was the sweet cashier that would greet me by name every time I walked in the door and would tell me to "stay safe" when I walked out. I found out today that he passed away. I regret not taking the time to tell him how much his sweet disposition and welcome greeting made my day. May he Rest In Peace. read more

I have given this place several chances to prove me wrong but their service to dry clean is not up to par. I've brought my clothing to them 3 different times because it's conveniently around the corner from my home however each time they've proven to be incompetent. Each time my clothing comes back starched incorrectly. Like my shirts, shorts and pants come back with folds that have been starched down. Their is always creases in easy front spaces that should be easy to take care of. After several different times of giving them chances I do not recommend them. read more

Stains on clothing are no longer an issue or worry because i know that whatever my child manages to get on themselves, these guys will work their magic and erase the stain. I brought a white duvet cover in to get cleaned and somehow it came back with black hairs all on it. I brought it back to get cleaned and it came back with new stains. They had it for 2 months trying to clean and made it impossible to replace. They also ruined another white duvet cover that got black spots on it they thought from dragging on the ground. They wouldn't replace that bc I didn't have my receipt when I bought it. I'll never use this cleaners again. read more

I've been going to the Skillman US cleaners for over 15 years and had no prior incidences until this past week. Took some laundry in last week, the clerk had on no mask. That after a large sign on the front door says masks are mandatory for the health of their employees and their patrons. Went back in on Saturday 1/9/2021 to pick it up, and again the clerk wasn't wearing a mask. This while Dallas has a city wide ordinance to wear a mask! I confronted her, and she said she had left it at home. After a terse conversation I gave her two of mine to keep. However this should not be an employee issue, the owner should make it mandatory and provide masks for each of their employees. I'm reporting this to the BBB as well. I will no longer be going to this cleaners for health reasons. read more

U.S. Cleaners (Greenville Ave) is the nearest cleaners to my house so I wanted to give them a shout out because I left a few garments well over 30 days, it was more like 96. I just think it was cool of them that they didn't try to sell my shirts (light-starch) on E-Bay or gave'em to that guy in front of 7-11 that screams Hillary Clinton is the devil and if I can give him a dollar because he ran out of gas and needs to get to Oklahoma... three years ago. So thank you U.S. Cleaners! They do a great job and Alex at the counter always has a smile on his face and if my DNA structure turned out different I'd take him out for some shrimp as long as his DNA structure was in lined with mine. But one thing sure got my goat though, the other morning I was looking for something to read, you know during that special alone time after your morning coffee kicks in, when I came across one of the plastic bags that my shirts came in. On it was printed, "THIS BAG IS NOT A TOY" My first thought was, whoever made this decision sure doesn't have a active imagination and during this time of technology where all toys have a screen or power cord on them, it just plain made me mad. Take my four year old; he loves to play with the plastic cleaners bags. It's so cute how Little Mort will not go anywhere without his plastic U.S. Cleaners Sheet, the second I get home from the cleaners , which is like every three months, he'll come running into the kitchen with what he calls "growd up" scissors ready to cut off the plastic, then under the kitchen sink he goes where his imagination takes over. What will it be today a space capsule, a deep sea expedition or will he be a mad scientist working on his latest experiment? Just the other day you should have seen how adorable he looked curled up on the back dashboard of the car with his plastic sheet on the way to poison control making mummy sounds. So don't try to tell me what a toy is or what is not a toy, a child's imagination should be exercised and challenged everyday! The world is getting soft and soon we'll all be sitting in front of a computer like a big lump of organic mush. Give a kid an electric toy and the thinking is done for him, give him confidence and access to power tools and he'll take over the world! Oh if you get your cleaning in by 9AM they'll have it out by 5PM. Don't buy the bubblegum in the gum machine, it tastes like rubber. read more

After traveling back from a wedding, I took my brand new tuxedo to U.S. Cleaners hoping to get the article of clothing pressed. Upon picking up the tux from the cleaner, I noticed the lapel silk was scorched and the fabric was much stiffer than when I dropped it off. I went to the Mockingbird location and informed them of the issue, they pointed me in the direction of the Greeneville location to speak to the manager. At this point, I was pretty sure how this was going to play out. The manager inspected the article and stated he could fix the lapel (not true), but the material was a manufacturing defect and place blame on Hugo Boss. I took the tux back to Nordstrom and explained the situation and they mentioned that the cleaner more than likely did not follow proper instructions. For further proof, they pulled 3 identical tuxedos from the rack and we compared the tag on the inside pocket of all four tuxes. Low and behold, the tag on the original tux was much more yellow compared to the other tags - further solidifying the fact that proper care was not provided. This is the second time they have tried to skirt responsibility over ruining clothes and the last time they'll be receiving my business. read more

I had damaged the cushion of a vintage chair using Resolve, which had left a clear chemical ring that was worse than the original stain. I brought it to U S Cleaners when I was picking up my other dry cleaning hoping they could fix my mistake. They were so helpful and knowledgeable! They told me that they couldn't dry clean it, but they thought they could use the steamer to make the stain much less noticeable. In less than 15 minutes they managed to almost completely remove the ring (you can really only see it if you squint now), didn't charge me for their time, and gave me great advice on how to deal with any future stains to prevent water damage or rings. I have always appreciated this U S Cleaners location for their quick turnaround and pleasant staff, but this was truly over-the-top customer service. read more
