I created yelp so I could bump businesses up by leaving loads of 5 star reviews... Well, I'm sad to say this needs to go in the 0 star department. The manager, Cindy provided the most horrendous customer service. She seems to be bitter and angry at customers who give the business she works for money. If I have a displeased customer at my place of work, I try everything to help them and make them happy and I'd like to think most people don't go out of their way to just be plain rude. I was shocked to discover there were small stains still on my shirts.. So, a cleaners only purpose is to clean and they were not capable of completing this task. They did get my shirts a bit brighter so I do appreciate at least 40% of their job being done. I was confused when I saw the stains and informed Cindy (the cleaners I have gone to have always returned the shirts stain free), She was uninterested in anything I had to say. I simply was asking her why there were stains and was met with "I don't know, I guess I can send it back, it is what it is". She became annoyed that I was standing up for myself because businesses need customers, agro maybe not laugh at customers when they ask simple questions. I will not return, of course but Cindy really needs to learn how to speak to another human being and not belittle people. Honesty, If she seemed like she actually cared and maybe apologized I would have just dealt with the half job. I tried to ignore the bad reviews on yelp and google but they are true and the owners replies on google are stunning, basically saying every bad review is incorrect because "they can't find the customer in the system". This is Dallas, baby, cleaners are a dime a dozen and us cleaners fall below any acceptable standard. Please save your clothes and take them elsewhere! read more

They do get my clothes clean BUT they are indifferent to my requests for specific services. My clothes are returned to me stinking of fragrance after I explained that I MUST HAVE fragrance free service. I was assured that this preference was placed in my profile. All evidence to the contrary. Interestingly, when I return the stinky items for a re-do those items come back to me fragrance free. I have asked for other accommodations that are within the capability of other less conveniently located dry cleaners, so I know my requests are reasonable. When I return other unfinished items for re-do they come back to me as I requested. My time is valuable, as I presume the time of the technicians at USC is, so we are both losing $$ by this sloppy service. read more

Ok so I am going to write this until I get a phone call from Management. This pl as CD has s storefront offering $1.49 for men's shirts with dry cleaning. FIVE TIMES NOW I've been charged $3.95 per shirt and have had to walk back in and hold them to their word. BUYER BEWARE they are double charging and false advertising. They do as decent job but who wants white mens shirts dry cleaned? I prefer laundry as ADVERTISED unless otherwise noted. Ugh, I am so over SD scammers. Check your invoices on pick up. read more

Wow, beware of this place!!! I decided to try this place out since I've yet to get my dry cleaning done since I've moved here. I'm used to a place in az which was 2.75 a garment everyday so prices have seemed a bit steep to me. I was dropping off 13 pieces and the girl counted 12. I said I think it's 13 so she counted and corrected the matter. I was surprised that it was pay upon pickup but thought to ask how much the total would be (I had a coupon as well). Each dress would be 5.99 while the blouses and skirts would be 2.79. I wasn't too fond of the pricing given I had 8 dresses so I decided to go somewhere else. She then gave me 12 items back. Good thing I checked or I might have left short my favorite dress!! Anyways, these people cannot count and aren't up front with pricing. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. When I initially dropped my items off, the lady at the front didn't greet me or thank me for my service. She just said "what's your name". So I asked her how she was doing. She vented about another customer, so I figured she just had a bad day. When I returned, she still did not greet me or say thank you! Her countenance is not warm or welcoming and she doesn't speak. I desperately want them to be better. They are the most convenient cleaners to my neighborhood, so I can't break the habit of using them. But they are so very average. I particularly don't understand how I routinely catch broken buttons when I pick up, but the people doing the work never seem to see them. Yes, they fix them when pointed out, but that is not a mark of quality. read more

I made the mistake of bringing my Theory suit and blouses here for dry cleaning- over $1500 of tailored clothing. As of right now, they "can't find it" and even had the nerve to ask me "well, did you need it today?" Once it was closing time. Yes, I need my suiting and I need it today. I have never written a review before but I tried U.S. Cleaners twice, hoping the second time they'd clean my tops better, and even though it was cheap it was still a complete waste of money. I usually avoid dry-clean-only clothes, but a winter trip to Vegas meant the absorption of a night of smoke, alcohol, and food - lots and lots of food - for my poor wool coat. So I took it in to U.S. Cleaners (along with the rest of the dry-clean-only clothes I had been hoarding). Service was friendly and quick, plus the price was reasonable. 16 pieces for under $75? Not bad! I had three (short) dresses dry cleaned for $20, and my long wool overcoat cost $14 to clean, and I was happy to get a big whiff of...nothing....when I picked it up. Regular coats/blazers run about $5-10. Keep an eye out for coupons in the Valpack - 99 cents for shirts to be laundered, and they did a very good job getting out some of the yellow rings on his long-neglected shirts. I'll be going back as long as I live so close. read more

I am NEVER going to US Cleaners at Univ/Greenville in Dallas again!!!!.. .I dropped off my comforter on 11.5.2012 and was told it would be ready by 11.8.2012. I went by on 11.9.2012 (a Friday) to pick it up. It wasn't ready. Ok, they're backed up. It's happened before with other dry clearnes I've gone to, so I wasn't worried about it. Went back the next day (11.10) to pick it up. The girl at the counter said it wasn't there. After several minutes, the (I assume) owner came by and I asked him 'Where was my comforter?'. Took a bit before he told me that when it was sent out, the comforter had bunched up and they had to open the comforter to unbunch it. I expressed I wasn't happy. They said it would be there on Vet's Day 11.12.2012. Was it ready? Nope...I got a phone call (from Nick, I think) saying it would be ready by Tuesday, accompanied by excuses as to why it took so long. Like I expressed before, I will NEVEWR going here again. They were dishonest as to the status of my item being cleaned. And any time I pressed for an answer, their excuses just kept getting lamer and lamer. From now I will go to the Freedom Cleaners up the street...They don't screw up like this!! read more

I've been spending approximately $100 a month here for the past 6 months. Most of the time, the staff has been nice and congenial. Today, the absolute OPPOSITE happened. It is a Saturday, and I took laundry in at 8:20am to be returned today by 5 (what is stated on the window). An extremely rude clerk informed me they didn't take same-day orders on Saturdays. Was that listed on the window or, where she said, the door? Absolutely not! But worst of all: her distasteful attitude. I won't spend money with a company who hires people like her. read more

I'm sure glad the owner brought back Sonny. The previous girl was nearly always on the phone or in the back of the store when you'd walk into the place. You'd always have to utter "Hello?" several times before she'd emerge from the back. Sonny is always out front, is great at remembering your name, and is very conversant.
