Technicians- 5 stars Manager Savana- BIG ZERO I am in California on a work assignment and needed a smog report for my current state of residency. I came in and was greeted by two kind and friendly male employees (technician/inspectors). They were both very kind. However, since my battery had been previously disconnected, I was advised to drive 100 miles in order for the test to be completed. The technicians were so kind and explained additional information about my vehicle that I was unaware of. I did as advised and returned the next afternoon. This time, I was greeted by an abrasive female, Savana. Not a big deal, we all have bad days, I guess. Savana advised that I had to pay for an electronic fee for the smog report to go to the California DMV, I asked why. Curious that I am paying a fee that won't go anywhere since the vehicle is not registered in California. Savana began abrasively reciting a California Code requiring all vehicles registered in California to have the smog report electronically sent to the DMV. As Savana continued with her rant, I realized that I was dealing with an unstable and angry girl. It all went downhill from there. I said fine, not wanting to get into a logistical issue over a $3 fee. I said she did not need to be rude. (OOOOOPS!) Needless to say, she advised me that she was the manager, and I couldn't complain to anyone. Ok.... I received my documents (worried she was not going to give them to me) thanked her walked out of the lobby. I then truly thanked the technicians for their assistance and the advice on the previous day. read more

When we came in the mechanic gave us clip board with paperworks to fill out. My husband filling out his information and all of a sudden this girl took the clipboard from my husband without saying anything and she start checking the paperwork. My husband said that I have to sign it and not done yet. The girl said it's ok, this is my job! Her tone of voice high and rude. Then she said to my husband to sign it and that's it! I told her that her that he is going to sign it but you pull the clipboard from him! Whoever that girl that works there? Doesn't have manners. She doesn't have good communication skills and costumer service! She deserves 0 STAR! read more

My car needed a smog check and the the lockdown I wasn't sure if US Smog Check was opened. Fortunately with a quick call I was told they were opened Monday through Saturday. The checked in process was quick and so was the smog check. The person that came out to drive my car in put on a pair of gloves which put me at ease with what's going on now. I took my car for a smog check on Father's Day knowing that it probably wouldn't be busy. When I drove up around 10:15, I was the only one there. I just had an oil change and other maintenance to my car. Apparently, if you just had an oil change, or battery disconnected your car may not pass. They run a quick check. My car was fine so the smog check was done. Thankfully, it passed. Good price and quick service. Don't forget the $10 coupon. Even without the coupon it still was $10 cheaper than the place where I got my last smog check. Highly recommended! read more

This is a nice facility. You simply pull up to the check-in stand, hand them your DMV renewal form and go wait in a nice, clean lobby. It's currently $58 for the smog check and certificate which is uploaded to the DMV automatically. You can also complete your your actual DMV renewal there and skip the DMV or AAA. It will cost you your renewal fee plus a $15 service fee. Some people may not find this to be a deal, but it saves time, travel, and energy, so I found it to be worthwhile. I had to get my smog check for my registration and I found this shop hidden behind the Kohls. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and taken care of extremely fast. The employees there were nice, the room was nice and cold (especially during these hot days), and the process was faster than any other smog place I've been. Albert, the mechanic that was handling my vehicle, was friendly and informative and had also mentioned a technical issue with my car.
