Great pizza. Only 4 stars because we asked for light cheese and that was not the case. Still delicious though. The wings looked absolutely incredible, disappointed that we didn't order any. Definitely will next time. Updated review: 58 years old and these are definitely the BEST wings I have ever had. We tried all 4 types. My fav was the buffalo with gorgonzola cheese sprinkled on top. All 4 types were very large and just incredible. Wood fired wings, can't say enough good things about them. Ate inside this time and the atmosphere was really fun. This is the first time being at vs pizza at the beaches. Timed it right because it got busy right after we ordered and sat down. Candyce ordered the double meatball calzone and I got the pepperoni specialty pizza. Both looked and tasted great. Service was pretty prompt. I had a very expensive to go order placed the day before that was scheduled to be picked up at 11:45 a.m. the order was not ready on time, therefore making me late for my meeting. Even though you can't see the beach from the interior, there is plenty of natural lighting from the windows facing 1st street. Music was a good mix of pop and Frank Sinatra esque jazz. Food took about 20 minutes to come out. Got the lunch special: personal size Paolo pizza and the V signature wings. They were nice enough to give me a whole pizza on the house- the weekly special Bacon and Blue pizza for no other reason than they made an extra one (can't turn down free food amirite). Tried both, ended up liking the weekly special pizza more, and took the rest through TSA on my flight home. read more

October 14-20, 2024 - Our extended family of 13 stayed in the local area for a week. We enjoyed the pizza and other offerings so much that various combinations of our family ate here 3 times. The MEATBALL SAN MARZANO was fabulous. The thin crust pizzas were delicious. Some of our favorites were the MARGHERITA V SIGNATURE PIZZA, the CARNIVORA PIZZA (ordered w/o onions), the FLYIN' HAWAIIAN PIZZA (loved by the kids), and the MAC ATTACK PIZZA (loved by the kids and a couple of the adults). There is a full bar with many selections of wine, specialty cocktails, house infused vodkas (the raspberry with soda water was outstanding), and lots of beer choices too. Plenty of nearby parking. If the waitstaff was more consistent it would be better. On one occasion our large group was using 2 different tables next to each other (no big deal), but the service was remarkably different between the 2 tables. The standout example was one table getting beverage orders taken and delivered before the other table even ordered. The same thing happened with the food ordering too. And at the end of the meals, both tables had to ask for the ticket/bill. And yes, both tables had the same waitress. read more

Love love LOVE V Pizza! Their classic Napoletana pizza offering is amazing. Their Piccante Pizza and Margherita pizza are our favs as well as their Calabrian wings. If you've never tried Napoletana pizza before, you're in for a treat. Their brick ovens are ordered from Naples and everything is cooked at 600-900 degrees. They import their flour and Italian ingredients weekly. Napoletana pizza is know for a crispy crust and soft center and V's delivers on just that. The bf loves their Italian beef sandwich, spicy/hot and wet. I'm partial to the caprese sandwich. The vibe in this place can't be beaten, their bar Flask and Canon next door is fun and lively. They often have weekly specials and trivia once a week. And let me tell you, it's not easy trivia! Busy days are weekends but they're open late night serving Flask and Canon! read more

This review is based on two visits, so far. This doesn't matter much, but both times we sat in Flask & Cannon, which is a separate business. F&C hands out Vs menus though and you order from your server there as if it was their own menu. In any case, we tried two different pizzas over two visits and both were excellent. The main part of the pizza was greater but something I noticed with that the crust was GREAT. I don't love or hate crust, I could truly take it or leave it. But the crust on Vs Pizza has something going on that makes me look forward to getting to the end of the slice. One other thing I want to mention is that I manager (maybe owner?) of Vs was constantly checking up on tables in Flask & Cannon during both visits. It didn't come off as trying to pester people, the dude just really seems like he cares if you're enjoying his product or not. Having been in customer service my whole life, something like that matters to me. read more

Stopped here for a quick bite catching up with a friend I got the Bruschetta: fresh baked pizza dough, served with bruschetta (fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, extra virgin olive oil), topped with shaved parmigiano reggiano and balsamic glaze. AMAZING! Then my friend got the Margarita Pizza A V's Signature San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, bufala mozzarella, fresh basil equally delicious. I forgot that they also serve wings!! This is the worst pizza ever, although I can't even recall the last time I had bad pizza. Hell, I eat pizza from grocery stores that have been sitting under the heat lamp all day, Sam's club, gas station, whatever, I didn't think it was the most amazing, but I still finished it, I'm not that picky. Not here, this was not edible. I ordered a Caesar side salad and the "pizza rustica"with a couple additional toppings. My friend had a gluten free crust with ham and some other stuff, we shared the signature wings. The wings were super sweet, like a lemon starburst. My friend loved them, so she ate it all since her pizza was terrible too. The wings and pizzas came quickly, but we had no silverware, they only had knives stocked on the back counter, after I hunted down a server, he refilled forks, but the two we grabbed had stains...wonderful. My pizza was super heavy in grease, I don't mind a bit of grease, but damn, this was insane. After toweling off my pizza, I take a bite and it's so soggy it's like a wet sponge. I understand that wood fired pizzas aren't the firmest pies, but this was disintegrating. On top of that, the sauce was terrible, no flavor, some salt would do wonders. My friends gluten free crust was much better, crust wise, but she had the same flavorless sauce. She also said the ham reminded her of heated up lunch meat. Yikes. They never brought my Caesar side salad, I was looking forward to this as I had nothing else I could eat and I saw mounds of fresh salad coming from the kitchen. Again we hunted down a server, he want to the refrigerator by the front and took a pre-made salad out and plopped it in front of me. That would have been fine, but this looked nothing like the fresh salad from the kitchen, I didn't even get croutons, I got mushy and rotten lettuce. Not edible. This place was noisy, dirty, and we did not enjoy the food at all. You can eat a wet towel and it'll be the same as this pizza. read more

We went Saturday night around 9-10ish and the crowd was great, but not overpacked or stressful. Stopped in here after a sports event and the kids wanted a little bit of time on the beach. It was right by the paid public parking and was pretty crowded. We were able to get a table and order food pretty quickly and the server was very friendly and came to check on us. It was a little loud so hard to talk at the table, but with as busy that it was it was to be expected. It was also a little longer to get some of our food. One of the kids ordered buttered pasta and that came out pretty quick. I had a caprese salad and that came out quick as well since it was a cold salad and seemed prepared in advance (but freshly made in advance) so easy for the team to serve. The other two had pizza and while it took a little while to get out they both ate over half of the pizzas and really enjoyed them (even the left overs they ate two days later). My husband ordered the calzone and it was HUGE, but he really enjoyed it as well. Would come back in again on our next visit in town. read more

This trip, I got the Wood Oven Roasted Chicken Wings (signature wings) and a Pepperoni Pizza. There are about 10 wings per order with a mix of drums and flats. The signature ones are a lemon garlic flavor, and come with a sweet onion on top. We loved them, will definitely order again! Pizza: There is no pizza like V Pizza, it truly is the art of pizza they have mastered. We got a 13 inch pepperoni pizza this time and it was a next level pizza! Served hot and fresh out of the oven. I love how when we pull a slice out, the cheese stretches with it - that's how you know it's oooey gooey good!! The tomato sauce they use is so fresh, you can truly taste the quality and freshness of the sauce in each bite. It's very light and accents the other ingredients very well. I love the thin crust as well! The recipe for their dough is so tasty, and cooking it in their special ovens makes it crispy good on the outside. We shared the wings and pizza between 3 people and it was plenary for us. The portions are generous and filling! You can also customize your pizza if you'd like, for example 1/2 pepperoni, half cheese, etc. V pizza is also connected to flask and cannon so there is always plenty of seating, but there's also a walk-up ordering window on the outside if you don't want to go in. I love coming here with friends and family. Their large windows facing the beach make for a great place to watch the sunset over the beach. They have tv's inside usually with sports on which we love to watch. This is a great family friendly place. This is an easy 4+ star restaurant. Only had take out here (while visiting the area) for a group of 12 people and everyone loved what they had. We opted for a few different kinds of salad, some wings, and of course multiple types of pizzas. Their wings were delicious and one of their flavors had a nice kick to them. They were large and full of taste coming from their ovens. The pizza was all delicious including their cauliflower crust pizza. Hubby likes this place and so we decided on take out Thursday evening. I had not had their pizza before. With all the new restrictions in place, you would think the effort to get orders correct would be at an all time high, but sadly that is not the case with some places. We ordered the wings with NO Onions for the hubs, a caprese salad, and a half cheese/half pepperoni pizza. Picking up was a cluster with the window server and then we get home and the wings are covered in onions, despite me asking two times for no onions, the caprese salad has some weird item in the balsamic dressing and the pizza was OK, but not great.
