Pretty darn solid local coffee after at surf at 56th street. Parking is terrible, the line is always long and the back area never has seats open. But! This place is very local and very popular and I have to say the coffee is very good. PS i think you get some sort of discount if you have a beard, mustache and/or a sleeve tattoo. read more

Really solid coffee. Good amount of expresso with good quality milk and right on pch. Definitely a surf/beach vibe but good ambiance overall. Strong recommend and always get good service. If you're driving up or down pch I'd recommend getting a coffee here overall other spots. read more

The aesthetic is nice, but the coffee isn't really that good. It's quite watery and one can't really taste the quality of the beans. Couple that with the lack of parking and creepy neighborhood, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here read more

I was so happy to make it before they closed at 3! I got an iced maple latte less sweet, and it was delightful. If I'm ever in Newport Beach before 3 pm, I totally going back. Great stop in Newport Beach. I had a lavender flat white and it was really great. Perfectly made, nice foam, great espresso with shots pulled just right. We also shared a low sugar chocolate chip cookie from a local bakery they were selling that was a nice add on. It's on the busy PCH but they have a nice little patio area out Jack the here you can enjoy your drink and avoid the busy highway. Worth trying if you are in the area. read more

If you are wanting a hip coffee shop that is walking distance from the ocean then come here! There's patio seating in the back and then you walk across the street to the ocean! On Fridays and Saturdays, there are delicious pastry items called Cronuts which are a combination of a croissant and donut. I've had their lattes and cappuccinos which are both delicious! Great service and vibe inside. Highly recommend trying out if you're in the Huntington/ Newport Beach area. read more

Love this place! Most coffee shops make any flavored lattes insanely sweet, even when you ask for less sweet so I typically avoid altogether and just get a plain latte. I got their iced lavender latte which usually comes with two pumps with one and it was perfection! read more

Simplicity at its finest. The coffee is spectacular and so are the workers My go to is a vanilla iced flat white. It's the perfect amount of sweet, strong, and creamy. If you want something that's not as strong go for a latte. It has paid parking out front but if you park on the side streets it's free however be aware of street sweeping you don't want to get a ticket! It has a cute back patio for outdoor seating. No ordering ahead however it's not a long wait unless it's summertime and/or peak hours. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Newport area and want a quality cup of joe. read more

Third wave coffee shop right on PCH, in Newport Beach. The space is casual yet refined, with indoor seating and lots of natural light. They serve coffee from Partners Coffee Roasters (roasted in NYC), and pastries from local Blackmarket Bakery. Their menu includes all the classics, plus a few interesting specialty drinks. The girl working was weirdly cold to me, and then super nice to the lady who came in after me. Not sure what that was about, as I am polite/pleasant. I got an Iced Maple Latte, which was okay, albeit weak. It tasted mostly like oat milk and water. The pastry case was sparse on the day I visited. I went with the "seasonal croissant", an apple granola danish. It had good flavors, but was extremely dry. I will not come back here. read more

Chai latte's can be tricky to master, especially at third wave coffee shops where tea is the least of their worries. Thankfully, this place knows how to do it! I ordered mine with oat milk and it was so creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. They use a powdered mix, which I find offers a richer flavor compared to its liquid concentrate counterpart. I also appreciate how convenient it is for a quick pit stop as the storefront is right off PCH. There are a few parking spaces paralleling PCH or neighborhood parking. The small "parking lot" adjacent to the building is for employees only with one handicapped spot. There is a cozy outdoor patio in the back. If there's no seating walk across the street to the beach less than 50 yards away! P.S. This place seems to be popular with the Gen Z crowd. read more

One of our favorite coffee spots when in Newport Beach. Conveniently located on the W Coast Hwy this is where you want to grab a coffee for the beach, or the road. They have some specialty drinks as well as all of your espresso and cold brew favorites. I had the Mocha Chaga Latte which is a mushroom and cocoa powdered with healing and antioxidant properties. Luckily you don't taste the shrooms. Their drinks are always fresh and quality is consistent over time. Definitely recommend! They do have a very small seating area, but with COVID it's a bit tight...take it To Go. read more

The reviews are right when they mention the drinks are very sugar forward very sweet and I did have the barista reduce the sweetness in my tea, but the syrup used for the lychee just doesn't make well for the type of experience that I'm used to when I purchase tea from other competing stores.

Best described as soggy and tricky to eat. First they wrap it entirely in aluminum which means you have to peel wrapper just to take a bite. The bagel is smaller than average and nothing of special quality. I enjoy fried egg but somehow this one is overdone. The diced bacon also does absolutely nothing for this sandwich. I assumed when I ordered it the cheese would hold it together. They don't layer the cheese next to the bacon so the bacon crumbles just fall out everywhere. Unfortunate. People must come here for something else because I swung and missed.

He was very friendly and acted as if we were long time friends. You order up at the front counter and then they bring the food to you. We tried a little bit of everything. Their burger which was super simple but really tasty! Their breakfast burrito which was a classic. But the star of the show was the pastrami breakfast tacos I have never had anything like that before. It was so good and I will definitely be back for that! We ended the day with some pancakes which was a nice treat! The area is small but very homey. I will definitely be back! Thanks Billy!

I also ordered their Paradise Iced Tea, which was good, but not spectacular at a paradise level in my opinion. The tri tip sandwich could have been executed in all the right ways, but the Serrano chilis were overdone and took over the sandwich. The balance was thrown off. The Serrano masked the overly chunky tri tip and my palate. If the Serrano chilis were diminished by a half or even two thirds, this would be a far better sandwich. The quality of the sesame seeded hero bus was great and I could taste it, but overshadowed by the Serranos.I could tell the cheese sauce was also well thought out and executed on its own, but again the chilis masked all that goodness. The same goes for the chunky sauteed onions, whose sweetness could have offered a nice counterpoint to the tri tip and chilis, but was overwhelmed by the chilis. This also applied to the tri tip, whose Wagyu flavor should have been at the center of this sandwich, but was pushed aside by the Serranos. You're onto a good thing with this Tri Tip and I was looking forward to enjoying it, given we don't commonly see the tri tip cut on the East Coast. When you run this special again, back off the Serranos by a considerable amount and chop the tri tip a bit more finely so one can eat it without having to eat oversized chunks. The quality is there, but the balance and execution were off. 3.4 stars

The lady who helped me - dark hair, really overly colorful eye makeup, and tattoos - processed the transaction but handed me the card without a receipt. When I asked for one, she spent a moment at the screen and then told me she couldn't print it because she had already closed out my tab. I was confused why 1) she didn't give me a receipt in the first place, then 2) she decided that was the only solution - to tell me it could not be done. After I asked her to find a solution as I needed a copy of the receipt, she finally asked her colleague beside her, who pointed her to the right place, and, voila, the receipt was printed. Leading with "I can't" is never the right customer service instinct, especially for something as basic as a receipt. I also tried to buy the butter they import from France. I stood at the case for several minutes with no acknowledgment. I finally walked over to the nearest employee (her name was Lucy) who was finishing up with a customer at the register right next to the butter section. I politely asked if she could help me when she was free. She looked at me, nodded, and said she would. Then proceeded to assist every customer who lined up behind that original customer without once glancing back in my direction. In fact, I had enough time to walk to the bakery, go through the entire gift card situation as mentioned above, and return to the butter section, and Lucy still hadn't looked over. I left without the butter. Moulin used to have fantastic service. I don't know where those regulars went, but two strikes in one visit, with two different employees, is hard to brush off.
