I could not be more pleased with the staff and service. I first spoke with Aamar who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave me excellent information that proved reliable. Next I spoke with Kumar on the phone. He was exceptionally helpful in explaining what needed to be done and gave me accurate information as well. He is the person who worked on the overall servicing which was badly needed. I was delighted that the bag that had to be replaced was available from their warehouse. With Kumar's willingness to give immediate attention to the servicing, my Kirby deluxe was ready in less than a week when the bag came today. He had predicted next Wednesday and called me today, Friday, to say it was ready. I am overjoyed to have it back and I purchased extra bags and belts, all at a reasonable price. I'm in the process of moving to another state and need a perfectly clean home to convey to the buyer in a few weeks. DO NOT GO HERE!! Horrible!!!! I brought my vacuum in for a COVERED warranty repair. The said no problem. All they have to do is CHARGE me $15 to start the process and then possible additional charges based on the time it takes them to fill out forms and preform the repair. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Warranty repairs are supposed to be FREE to the customer. The vacuum company pays you to handle their warranty work....not the customer. The worker was unbelievably rude and was even annoyed that I brought in my broken vacuum for repair work. All the vacuum's in the store look like they are from the 1980's. After failing to trouble shoot my Bissell Pet Carpet Cleaner with the Bissell Customer Service Rep, I was told to take the shampooer to Vacuum Zone as an authorized repair store. I dropped off my Bissell Pet Carpet Cleaner on approx May 31, 2015 to repair the machine for failing to "spit out" water. I dropped off the machine at the store to a young lady (with a head wrap on) for repair. Upon dropping off the machine, I told by the young lady that the machine would not "spit out" water and that it was under warranty. She said no problem and gave me a claim ticket. On June 6, 2015, I received a call from a gentleman stating that there was nothing wrong with my shampooer other than the portable porting of the machine not being fitted properly on the base of the machine. On June 8, 2015, I stopped the pick up my machine. When I arrived, a gentleman looked around for my machine and finally found it on a rack on the right. He said there was nothing wrong other than what he said on the phone. I told him that the machine has always "sucked up" water but in fact did not "spit out" water. He said that it wrote on the repair order. I told him that I did not write the deficiencies on the bottom of the ticket and that he can see that the handwriting is different in the top and bottom. He said ok and that he will have it complete in a week. At that point, I noticed that the nozzle for the portable portion of the machine was missing. I explained to him that it was missing. He looked all over the store for the piece. Finally, the gentleman stuck a random nozzle on my machine. I explained to the gentlemen that he needs to find my actual nozzle. The gentleman then stated that the customer is supposed to take all parts off the shampooer and he is not responsible for it. I told him that the nozzle is a basic part of the shampooer and it's not common practice nor was I told to take all parts off the shampooer before I dropped it off. He told me that it was not his responsibility and that I could have not dropped it off with a nozzle. He also told me to take the machine since there was not trust. I told him that I was calling Bissell and the police as well as NOT taking my machine until it was resolved. I went outside and called 911 and asked for a cop to come take a report just to put it on record because I had no idea what to do at this point. The police came and said that they "feel" for me but it was a civil matter. I also called Bissell and was told to leave the Shampooer and that they would investigate the issue. So I left the machine at Vacuum Zone I am at a loss at this point because I dropped my shampooer off in good faith to Vacuum Zone for repair. Not only did Vacuum Zone not repair my machine, they totally lost my nozzle that allows me to shampoo carpet in a portable mode. I have dogs and must have the use of the portable function and without the nozzle, there ia not ability to use it. HELP!!!! I recommend that NO ONE drops their equipment off to this place. For them to lose a major component of my shampooer basically tell me to "go away" is so BAD!. If this does not get resolved my Bissell, I will be taking Vacuum Zone to Small Claims Court. read more

More like vacuum no zone. Was referred by Bissell for a warranty repair, after reading other reviews glad they never showed up. Store hours are wrong online, open at 10am not 930am. Which would be fine if there was an answering machine when I called. So after sitting in my car for 30min, they were still not open at 1015. When calling the 855 "main" number on the website the person I spoke with said, "just wait,"didn't bother to take my number and attempt to help. After another 30min and still no one at the store I called the number again only to find out it was not the main number and just the Burke location. The person there, before hanging up on me a second time was unwilling or unable to help, couldn't give me any other contact info when I said I would the store manager if had the name and number. Instead he tried to give me the Woodbridge store number. I called Bissell and told them they should consider blur using these guys anymore, encourage others to do so as well. read more

As others said, don't bother visiting this place if you're being sent by hoover or another warranty repair company. They clearly are using this angle to drum up business. We took a brand new system in to confirm it is defective, as instructed by Hoover. The person in the office clearly didn't know, but told us he could "fix" it. We took our vacuum cleaner there to find out what was wrong with it. Paid the deposit for the diagnostic. After 4 days, we called them to find out what the problem was, and they said it would be at least a week before they knew what was wrong. After 10 days, we called them back (they NEVER called us), and they told us the repair would cost $70. We would have never authorized a repair that cost that much -- but they didn't even give us the option. Overall, they didn't proceed professionally -- no call to the customer, and they fixed it without finding out whether we wanted that. read more

With the service they provide, I can't imagine that this is truly a business. Dropped my non-working vacuum cleaner off in November. They said they'd call. After 3 weeks, I called. They said they hadn't had the chance to take a look at the vacuum yet....and that they'd contact me. After two months, still no word. I decided to just retrieve my vacuum. When I got there, I was told that they turned the vacuum on and from the sound, they could tell it needed a new motor. (and, at what point, would they let me know this?) I wouldn't trust a vacuum to these folks. Likelihood is that you'll have to follow up frequently, and won't see your vacuum for many months. Good luck! read more

Really bad experience!! Had to visit the store FIVE times to get our vacuum and all its parts "fixed" and it still doesn't work. They are lazy, incompetent, and quite unhelpful. A huge waste of fifty bucks! As the other reviewer said, they don't tell you everything up front. Another example: you shouldn't leave the vacuum attachments with them because you might not get them back. When asked about where your attachments are, they will tell you it's their policy that customers shouldn't leave them on the vacuum for this very reason. How is the customer to know these things if not told? Also, the guy promised the vacuum would be fixed in three days, and it took them at least a week. I'm not one to stir up trouble, but I do feel like I should let others know that this is not a good place to get your vacuum fixed. read more

Don't leave your vacuum with them if all you are looking for is a part or quote. They don't tell you up front, but the charge $15 to get your vacuum back. It was cheaper to go buy a new vacuum. read more

Every time I came into the store everyone was very polite and helpful. I dropped off my Hoover vacuum here as it was a certified warranty repair shop (as directed by Hoover customer service). It took 2-3 months to get the vacuum back. We were very annoyed but in the end it was Hoover's fault. The shop submits a claim and waits for Hoover to respond. Most people complaining on this page don't realize that. It's not the shop's fault. Hoover used to be a great Ohio company and made their products in the USA. They ship the work out to China now and as you can imagine the stuff went to crap. The shop went above and beyond to fight for a brand new vacuum for us as our old one was only 9 months old. When we received the call to come in and pick our vacuum we were pleasantly surprised that it was replaced by a brand new unopened vacuum (same model). The shop had no obligation to help us out but we truly appreciated it. Would definitely recommend this shop. read more

Incompetent at best. I brought my hoover steam cleaner for repair under warranty. Four weeks later I called them. There answer was that a part from hoover was pending. No problem, i reply. One week later, again no response. I call hoover directly and there is NO claim even sent from Vacuum Zone. Hoover was very good on helping me and in short Hoover will send a new vacuum. I went to pick up the old unit and the employee was rude and inept. Avoid! read more

I was sent to Vacuum Zone by the Hoover Vacuum Company to have my one-month old vacuum looked at as it was periodically overheating and shutting itself down (it's still under warranty). I waited for over 3 weeks to receive a call or e-mail from the vacuum repair owner that my vacuum was ready. I finally went to the business and the owner said he had "tried" to call me. I never received a call or an e-mail (in addition to my e-mail and phone number, he had my name and could have looked me up in the white pages). When I asked about my vacuum, he said "the filter is missing" and that he could not run a diagnostic test without it. I told him the filter was present when I delivered it to him (I would not take an incomplete vacuum for repair) and that, as he never called me, I wanted my vacuum back (even though it was now missing a part). The owner claimed I owed him $25 for a diagnostic test. I said I would not pay him any money and that all I wanted now was my broken vacuum with now a missing piece. The owner called the police when I would not give him any money. The police informed me that I had to leave my vacuum at Vacuum Zone and file a civil lawsuit to get it back! I am now out of pocket $175 for my new vacuum which is now in the possession of this business and I have little recourse other than suing the business or seeking help from the BBB (which I am now doing). DO NOT TAKE YOUR VACUUM FOR REPAIR TO THIS STORE! I only wish I had read the review on this business before I dropped my vacuum off... read more

I was referred here by Bissell for repair of my vacuum. My vacuum is only 1 year old and still has 4 years remaining on the warranty. As soon as I told the man the vacuum was still under warranty, all he wanted to do was try talking me into buying a new vacuum. Why would I bring in my vacuum for repair if I wanted to buy a new vacuum!!! He then told me that he would have to call Bissell to see if the repair would even be covered. He said he would call to let me know what the price would be before any repairs were performed. 3 weeks later and I am still waiting to hear anything. I have called countless times and left messages. They do not answer the phone and do not return phone calls. I really wish I had read the reviews before I left my vacuum here. Please do yourself a favor.....DO NOT TAKE YOUR VACUUM HERE!!!!!!! This place really needs to be shutdown! I would leave 0 stars if I could! read more
