    Thai Iced Coffee

We stopped by starving after work and have no regrets. All the employees we saw here were Thai. Our server, TK, was very enthusiastic and friendly! We ordered two appetiters, 3 entrees, Thai coffee and Thai iced tea. With our entire order, we were moved to sit in a 4 seat table to fit all our food! Everything we ordered here was amazing. It's been a while since I've been to Thailand but everything resembled Thailand here except the spice level - assuming that's to accommodate Americans haha. The butterfly pea rice dish was his favorite since it was different. I always enjoy the curry dishes but was drawn in by the lotus chips and cashew dish. Overall, great experience. We were seated immediately and the wait time for food was speedy. We will be back!

Manhattan, NY (Hell's Kitchen) - an intimate little spot with solid Thai food and interesting dishes on the menu that I would like to tour more of. The cooking is traditional and authentic with modern touches, and well presented. In hindsight, I wish I'd branched out more, as we accidentally stumbled into a mostly all-beef situation: one diner doesn't eat pork, I'm the only seafood enthusiast in the group, and the child needs something "safe" like pad Thai. The non-pork eater loved his nuer yang (grilled NY strip) which was tender if dainty. My nuer Panang (brisket in Panang curry) had a richly flavored curry, but the brisket itself didn't quite achieve that fall-apart tenderness I had hoped for. My husband's nuer nong kaeng kiew (beef shank in green curry) packed a nice kick with deeply layered flavor, though something tasted slightly off. Mom's pad Thai with chicken again had an excellent flavor, a touch sweet, though I prefer the noodles to be less saucy than this version. Tables are quite small so the dishes crowded the surface, but we made it work. Service was great.

Came here for a girls lunch and it did not disappoint. The crab roll (Hoy Jaw) was unique and full of flavor. The beef soup (Gao Lao Nuer) was the standout -- rich broth, super tender meat, and perfect for a cold day. Seafood dishes were also solid. The steamed seabass was fresh and simple, and the grilled seafood platter had generous portions. Dessert isn't on the menu, but what we tried was interesting and refreshing. The place gets busy, especially on weekends, but the food is worth it.

Walking into the location is a little tricky because there are two sides - the side we sat on was like a long hallway with no greeting table, so it's a bit unusual. The menu has lots of different options compared to other Thai places and the food is really tasty. Their dumpling appetizers with coconut sauce was amazing. It seems like it's run pretty bare bones, so the waiters work very hard here. Lighting is very dim here for atmosphere. They were very accommodating when I said I have a very bad spice tolerance and even offer to give me a different sauce for my salmon wrap.

Great restaurant for solid Thai food and a nice, intimate date. Amazing service and lovely ambiance. TK was the nicest and accommodated all of our requests. My favorite dish was the Moo Krob Kra Pao and the Tom Yum Mor Fai soup was delicious. The Rak Bua Tod was so simple but good, and the mushroom dip it comes with is unreal. The Thai Iced Tea is also great so don't miss out on it.

Would highly recommend trying here sometime. It's one of the best Thai spots I've been to in the city, up against some fierce competitors. The Sai Ua (sausage) and Pak Mor (steamed rice roll) were both excellent appetizers and aren't items you see on every Thai menu in NYC. The entrees were just as outstanding--my personal favorite was the Fried Rice with crispy pork belly, as the meat was ever so flavorful and had the perfect texture. Service is friendly and super fast, and the ambiance is quaint yet relaxing. Definitely stop by sometime!

Very solid Thai spot! Got the crab fried rice and 2 pork dishes. I don't remember what they are called, but one is their special pork dish and one is a pork app. The pork app was fried and just okay. But the other 2 dishes were great! Service was also solid and the ambiance was nice as well. There's not too much seating though so would recommend making a res during busy hours!

It's a cozy little place in an unassuming location. Service was prompt... a bit too prompt as they kept asking us to order right after seating us down. They give you a welcome drink right away as well which was a nice touch! We went for Saturday lunch hour and place was not packed so no reservations required I would say. Food came fairly quickly and was delicious. We got their Thai Iced Tea 3/5 Green Curry Fried Rice (Spicy & Wet) 5/5 Pad Kee Mao (Thai Spicy) 5/5 I would probably dial down to just Spicy on my next visit and skip the Thai Iced Tea.

I loved the variety of the menu, and loved that Valla Table had a lot of unique items I haven't seen elsewhere. The staff was very friendly and were eager to provide their recommendations. I tried the Miang Salmon and it was super tasty! Loved all the dipping sauces. The salmon was cooked well, but was kind of a lukewarm temperature. We were also sitting right by the front door, so it's possible that as I was enjoying my meal with friends that the food just cooled down more quickly because of where we were seated. Otherwise, very solid food. Small, intimate environment but can get a bit noisy. Super friendly service, which is what made this place stand out.

I haven't been to a thai place in a while and I love all of the food options in Hell's Kitchen. My friend made a reservation which is definitely recommended. It's a small yet cozy place and poppin on a Thursday evening. The food came quickly and everything was very good. We did not eat family style but it was a good call. The portions are perfect not to be shared. Everything had a beautiful presentation and no complaints from any of us! Will love to go back and try more of the menu and drinks.

Valla Table is this little cozy Thai spot that has a bit of an upscale vibe. The staff is really friendly but definitely make a reservation as there are only a few tables. Their menu has quite a bit to choose from. I decided to try their Pad Kee Mao with beef - its drunken noodles. It was packed with flavor and spicy. The noodles were tender, and the dish had plenty of vegetables and beef. Overall, 4 stars.

We came here with friends from out of the country. Previously, I've ordered from this place for company lunches and the food was amazing. I finally had the opportunity to come here in person. Take out was amazing. The food in the restaurant was also out of this world. I felt adventurous and tried the Tia Pla set which the waiter wanted to see if I could tolerate. The food was incredibly spicy, but full of flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend the desserts which were not too sweet. The service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend making a reservation as the place is a little small. Overall a great place to take friends and family coming to the city!

We went to Valla Table for an early dinner before a Broadway show. The restaurant is quite small with a train car layout, so we chose to sit by the entrance for some privacy. However, I was disappointed to find out that they don't serve alcohol despite having different information online. Therefore, I deducted a star from my rating. Upon checking in on Yelp, we were offered Thai iced tea. As we were short on time, we skipped the appetizers and ordered the main entrees instead. We shared the crispy pork belly with fried garlic, grilled New York steak strips served with chili tamarind sauce, and crab meat fried rice. All the dishes arrived at once and we were pleased to find that they were flavorful and perfect for sharing. Our server added another table for us, which made our dining experience more comfortable. We thought that all the dishes were good and served in a timely fashion. However, I do hope that they have started serving alcohol as I believe that spicy dishes pair well with a glass of wine.

We were greeted by very friendly staff members who, despite our early arrival, worked hard to get us seated as quickly as possible. The space's vibe is exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Times Square area -- dimly lit, but everything was still visible, not too much noise while extremely busy, and very cozy atmosphere made super pleasant from such attentive, kind staff members. I was especially impressed by our server, Leena, who checked in with us regularly, gave excellent recommendations, and was clearly concerned about giving us an amazing experience. My wife and I ordered one of the seasonal offerings--a sweet and savory fruit salad--that was the perfect start to our meal. I ordered the massaman, and it was easily the best massaman curry I've ever had in the United States. Perfect spice level, the chicken fell right off the bone (even my wife, a vegetarian, commented on how clean the bones looked after I removed the meat), and the mixture of textures and flavors with the lotus seeds and onions really created the perfect dish. I am craving it just sitting here and writing this review! Prices? Honestly, I couldn't imagine a fairer deal given the quality of the food and service we received. I was utterly blown away. I cannot recommend Mitr Thai enough! I can't wait to return next time I'm in the city!
