What is there to update? After 10 years everything is still the same!! Great decor, excellent service, same owner operator. This place will stand when the earth is reinventing itself itself

Pretty classic Mexican spot. Huge menu with good food, tastes exactly like it should. Massive portions, friendly vibe. Great for the family.

I LUUUUUUUV this place. I've been coming here for 20 years. Family owned and you're treated like family. Homemade tortillas, salsa, and chips Food is always fresh and the decor is beautiful. Plus a full bar. Every holiday they decorate for the occasion. Great vibes and food.

Party of 8 and the lady got 2 orders completely wrong. She still charged us for what we had originally ordered. In our Margaritas server claimed to have put Don Julio 70. Upon looking over she was actually putting Herradura Reposado. Still charged us the premium price. Not the same category of Tequila. Server claimed to have not charge us for certain food items, but upon looking at the receipt... she actually charged us more for other items. As to level out the cost. We were the only ones in the restaurant besides 2 other people. No reason to get orders wrong or scam us on the Tequila. We still tipped, but we will not be giving out business anymore.

I've been here a couple of times and each time it's pretty filled with patrons. Because it was pretty busy when we arrived, I sat down at the only available table and it was not yet cleaned. So they had to clean it before we sat down again. There was a basket of tortilla chips and fresh salsa, which was nice. Then there was getting our order, which took awhile and we had to wave someone down. I ordered the mole cheese enchiladas, which were really good, just like last time. But the last time, I ordered the chicken enchiladas and was disappointed with the chicken itself, which was dry and not really edible. The people I went with ordered burritos and they liked their food as well. Overall, everyone was happy with their food here, but logistically sometimes it can be hard to get someone's attention because they can be pretty busy. The food can also be questionable depending on what you get.

My friend and I went for drinks - we had an amazing time! We went on a Saturday night and got to enjoy mariachi music. The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. Parking is a bit challenging as there are only a few spots and street parking. Despite that I highly recommend trying this place out!

Whole fish Mojarra frita

Extremely disappointed with this experience. The food had little to no flavor--no salt, no seasoning, just dry and tasted old. The fish (which was $44) was especially bad and did not taste fresh at all. Even the lemons had no juice. The beans were so dry they felt like wet sand, and the rice was just average at best. Our total came out to $107 for two plates (fish and a shrimp quesadilla), two horchatas, and a tamarindo margarita. The margarita tasted like watered-down tequila with no tamarindo flavor whatsoever. Service was also lacking. Our server (an older man) took our order and barely checked on us afterward. When we were ready to leave, it took over 10 minutes just to get the bill. Interestingly, he became attentive only when it was time to pay. Overall, very overpriced for the quality of food and service. I would not recommend.

Texas chimichanga is huge!

Time for an update of my review since it has been sooo long. We came in after a hiatus of a couple years. The original family has sold to another, and we were skeptical as most people would be of new ownership. We came in pretty early on a week night and were immediately greeted and walked to our booth. The decor is pretty much the same, and the booths are newer and cleaner. The new owner/manager was working on some lighting at that time. The menu is the same with lots of traditional Mexican faire. It was always good food and plentiful in the past. They have kept that alive! YAY. . . We both ordered the Texas chimichanga... word of warning... IT's gigantic! And, during the week they 'currently' have 2 for 1 cocktails. Not only are the cocktails potent, but also still reasonably priced. We were happy to see they have retained the charm of this little establishment that rocks the town. NOTE- park on the street as their lot is 'tricky' at best and there is never an open spot (only 5 spots).

Crappy meat with TONS of veggies. I think they thought it was fajitas, but these peppers were too raw still.

All I want is to find some real.good quality Mexican food here in San Leandro, and this place AIN'T it. I could tell by the photos and how they advertise their food on the menu that this place caters to people who didn't grow up eating Mexican food. I have been wanting a specific "Chile Colorado" kick lately, and before I knew how crappy this place was, I convinced my wife to try this place out. I regret it. She called it average, said the meat quality kind of sucked for her crispy tacos. And she ordered a wet burrito for lunch/dinner tomorrow. Looked lifeless and limp. I ordered a burrito mojado Colorado, which I thought would give me what I was craving! I got the "steak" option, thinking that because this place is catering to non Spanish speakers, that they were trying to communicate "carne asada"......nope, the meat inside was crappy cuts of chuck steak. That is NOT what you put in a burrito. And then there was what seems like an endless supply of half raw bell peppers in it, which completely threw off the texture profile of the burrito. I knew right away from looking at the lame "side salad" that came with it that this food was going to be trash. And it was. I really wanted to give this place a shot. Sorry

I was here the other night with one of my sons and we weren't that hungry and just ordered one chimichanga to split, but they split the chimichanga and brought it to the table but put each half on separate plates and presented them each as a meal with beans, rice and delicious guacamole. We were so pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and really the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. I was here before last year with another one of my sons with a similarly excellent experience, but it was such a great visit last week. I decided I should yelp which I don't have rarely ever done. I will be going back again soon. And by the way, the chips we're warm and crisp and salsa was delicious! Again, we will be back.

Delicious Mexican food with a festive ambiance due to the colorful decorations and music. They have a decent drinks menu and seemed pretty packed. The main knocks are that we had to flag the servers a few times for help and it's a bit tricky for parking as their lot is mainly for residents living in the adjacent buildings.

Highly disappointed! We ordered green & red chilaquiles. The meat was all fatty and the beans were hard, dry, and clearly burnt. We payed for 110$ for 2 orders of chilaquiles and an order of enchiladas. So sad since the food looked great when it came out. Never ever coming back. The service was just okay.

Chile relleno and crispy taco (dorado). The beans and rice were delicious

yes! They can make any of the items with no meat.

How are the tacos? I'm trying to find a place to take my girl for her birthday, and she loves a good, authentic taco 👌🏼

The only think did change is the price but the wouldn't stop me. You know how most places fall off after a while? Not this one. From day one to now, it's been straight consistency. The burrito hits every time no skimping, flavors on point. Honestly, it's more than just food at this point--it's a tradition. Hard to find something that stays this solid for two decades. Respect where it's due.

While the burrito was definitely "super" in size, the proportions were way off. It was heavily packed with rice and beans--which were fine--but they clearly skimped on the carne asada. When you're paying for a premium burrito, you expect the meat to be the star of the show, not a background character. It felt more like a vegetarian burrito with a few guest appearances by the steak. If you're looking for a massive meal and don't mind the filler, this hits the spot, but for those of us looking for a balanced meat-to-rice ratio, this one missed the mark. Hopefully, it was just an off day for the line cook.

Not a lot of taco spots are open late at 10p but I saw that PNT was open. My family and I pulled into the driveway and were confused because it looked and sounded like a bar. There were a few people standing outside and I asked if this was a bar or restaurant and the gentleman said it's a restaurant. We walk in and got some stares because it was late and we had kids. Didn't matter to us. Everything on the menu sounded delish and they had al day breakfast items. We ended up going with the following: 1. Chicken sandwich- 10/10 my teen loved this. It was a crispy thinly sliced chicken breast with all the fixings, and pressed to perfection. 2. Chicken Caesar salad - 10/10 the lettuce was Romain, tossed in Caesar dressing and parm, with grilled chicken filet. 3. 4 tacos de asada - 10/10 yummy chopped steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm not sure if the evening chef cooks better or maybe we were starving, but the food was great! Ambience at the time was pretty loud but I figure it's because people hanging out in the bar area. Definitely will be back.

‼Absolutely horrible tasting food that is ridiculously over priced oh my god. NOT WORTH MY $44 !…read more I got these food items: Asada tacos- 1/2 of the taco meat was just big oily chunks of fat, I spat it out immediately. Rest of it was tolerable to chew. Tortilla was dry and oily. Al Pastor tacos- bland meat with a lingering dry pepper aftertaste that makes the meat taste old. Took one bite and was immediately repulsed. Chips and dip (guac and salsa)- chips are oily and hard to chew. Guac was bland, no garlic or cut tomato. Salsa was a viscous sludge in a small tub, had the same pepper taste as the Al Pastor. Horchata drink- too much cinnamon and saw multiple lidded to go cups of this already made in the fridge behind the register, no expiration dates on them. ALSO PLEASE UPDATE THE PRICES ON YOUR MENU, I was charged $11.95 for the chips and dip but the menu says "house chips and guac $9.50" ... how is salsa $2.45? Only positive thing I would mention is that the free tiny salsa, slice of lime, sliced radish, and pickled jalapeño and carrot was nice of them. Wish the pickled veggies didn't drip vinegar all over the bag (it was wrapped in tin foil). Never been here before and never coming back again.
