At first, they sold me a car that was supposed to be brand new, but used with 4000+ miles on it. The deal was still good so I accepted but not happy with it. However, they secretly requested a 2nd loan under my name and the same car, without telling me - doesn't seem legal at all. So, I purchased a RX450h in July 2018, and got my loan through Valley Lexus with Lexus Financial Service - LFS. In August, I made my 1st payment + extra money - total of $1500. Last night, as Sep 13, I received a payment book and past-due notice from Golden 1 for my car loan, which I never signed up with. Most importantly, the payment to Golden 1 is now 10 days past-due ( even I just received it last night )!!! I was in total shock, and waited till today to call and find out what is going on. After few phone calls to both LFS and Golden 1, I surprisingly found out that I have duplicated loans from both companies for the same car!!! And they are both active and current. By 11am, I finally get to speak to the financial manager - Chris, in regards to this mess. Chris told me that because I could not have both rebate and Lexus promotional finance rate, so they have to "switch" my loan to Golden 1, and cancel my original loan with LFS. However, they bought down the rate from Golden 1 to match LFS. And, to compensate "my inconvenience", they have even made my 1st month payment to Golden 1 for me. Everything sound fair, but after few more calls to both Golden 1 and LFS, I began to realize what he said was not totally true. Indeed, after the 1st conversation, Chris just won't take my call or even return my call for the whole day. Problem 1 ...... He said to "SWITCH" my loan due the their error. However, they applied Golden 1 loan as 2nd loan, and never cancel my FLS original loan for 2 months till I found out. They have the money in this whole time. Problem 2 ..... He said that they have made my first payment to my inconvenience, and I have no need to worry about this past-due. In fact, the payment never got sent out. Since Chris won't answer my call this whole day, I finally got someone else to answer and told me that they "will" send out this payment by next Monday. Now I have to seriously worry about this past-due statement from Golden 1, because their payment won't reach on time, and my credit history will get damaged due to this mess that Valley Lexus has made to me. So, even I have already paid my car payment to FLS, I have to payment AGAIN to Golden 1 to save my own ass. What a mess. Problem 3 ..... the only conversation that I have with Chris, I asked him about the refund of my first payment to FLS. Since he said that my FLS loan will be replaced with Golden 1, I told him that I paid my 1st payment already, and I need it back. He said either FLS will refund me OR Valley Lexus will ..... he doesn't even have a clue what is supposed to be done. It clearly shows that nothing has been done for the past 2 months. Both FLS and Golden 1 agents have warned me to be careful that if dealer choose to "pay off" my balance of FLS, I will not get refund from FLS. Later today, someone else from FLS told me that my FLS loan should be cancelled, and they "should" refund me the 1st payment Since they told me different things and all the dates just don't match. I serious doubt it that they are doing what they have told me. I don't know when the FLS loan is going to be cancelled and when my $1500 refund will be sent to me. I am now paying 2 loans for just 1 car purchased. Valley Lexus only give me whole bunch of excuses, but leaving me this mess that I have to clean up myself ... They don't care about my credit score gets damaged due to their mistake ( or illegal crime behavior? ), and they don't care about my financial difficulty having to pay 2 loan payments per month ........ that's $2000 a month instead of $1000. They just don't care. I will be finding out more tomorrow, then make decision if I should take them to court or not. Think twice before buying your new car through this dealership. read more

Went in to see what car buying options were available but didn't intend to purchase. Talked to a salesman, Nathan was his name, (OUTSTANDING... Ask for him if you go!!!!) he explained every small stupid question I had, and was very patient with me throughout the whole process. We found a perfect car for me and I thought there was no way I would be able to afford it or qualify for financing. He helped me through the quick process of applying for credit, and we crossed our fingers. He truly fought in my corner to get me a phenomenal deal... MUCH better than I had even hoped for! I signed the papers very quickly and they washed/waxed/vacuumed my brand new baby while I was waiting. THEN, they didn't just wash their hands of me...a great young man named Garrett took almost an hour going over every detail of the car with me and programmed my phone into the car so I wouldn't have to read the manual and do it myself! They continued to help me even after the sale, they didn't just ignore me. I LOVED the water and cookies and the bathrooms are gorgeous! I never really thought I'd ever be a Lexus owner, let alone a brand new Lexus owner!!! But now I am so proud of my new car I'm telling everyone I know to to try Valley Lexus... they'll take care of you and find you a crazy deal!!!! Go see Nathan and Garrett!!!! Not wanting to waste time talking to uncaring sales people or otherwise, I called the dealership to get a feel of customer service. I found myself talking to a person who identified himself as Eddie, sales manager. I asked him several questions about the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing. He took the time to answer the questions and provided the information that I requested. Four days later I showed up with my wife at the dealership and within a couple of minutes I was asked if I needed assistance by a gentleman who identified himself as Eddie K, sales consultant. He took the time to explain just about every feature in the vehicle that I was interested in buying, He was knowledgeable and friendly, we went for a test drive where we were able to actually experience the features of the vehicle. My wife and I were very impressed on how nice we were being treated that we decided that we were going to buy that day instead of continuing to browse the different luxury vehicles. we had already browse through the Mercedes-Benz but I did not like the way we were treated. My family and I went to the Valley Lexus Dealership because of the good quality and reliability that Lexus cars give and because of the location near our home. Though they don't have the largest selection available they were very accommodating to give us a good deal on our car and on our trade in vehicle. The main reason we are writing a review is because of the great customer service that was provide, the amazing environment and to let people know that if you want to buy a car here ask for Jennifer Waddell. She was amazing, very patient (explained everything we needed to know about the car in a very simple clear manner), and best of all gave us space to think about our decision and was not pushy like the majority of car salesman. I was excited to secure an allocation for my dream car -- a Lexus IS500 Final Edition -- at Valley Lexus. After placing a deposit, I was later given the out-the-door price and discovered a $5,000 markup that had never been disclosed. To my knowledge, the IS500 has not had any markups, and this additional charge was added without any prior communication. What made the experience more disappointing was that the manager showed no concern when I explained that I had not been informed of the extra $5,000. The lack of transparency and dismissive response left me questioning the dealership's practices. I would advise potential buyers to be extremely careful and ensure all pricing details are clearly documented before proceeding with any purchase at this dealership. read more

My husband and I went into the dealership to buy an es 300 and Tevy Ford pulled out the GS 350 from the showroom and we drove it. It was an amazing car and we were very close to signing the papers for it. We decided to continue to look for a used GS 350 as they did not have any in stock. We ran across several dealerships in the bay area and I have to say that Tevy was an excellent sales consultant and the differerence in her professional friendly manner was apparent. Ed from Valley Lexus lived up to Tasha T's review. He is wonderful. My husband's car all of a sudden was on the verge of dying, with a check engine light coming on and flashing. Never a good sign. Meanwhile my husband just relocated to Modesto and we are in mid-move so we don't know any reputable honest mechanics in town yet. Based on Tasha T's review we took his car into see Ed with baited breath and crossed fingers. Never, other than regular maintence have we left a lexus dealer with out a huge service bill. I live in the Sacramento area and was a little hesitant to drive all the way out to Modesto, but they had the car we wanted listed at a great price. My husband and I took the time to drive out there and it was well worth it. We were able to get a great deal all around. We worked with David for the sales, and financing, in our past experience with purchasing a vehicle, we've always had a different person for the financing.
