To be honest, I only came here since I had a chili cheese fries craving and saw they had it on the menu. I placed an order in advance and came to pick it up. It was a bit busy at the time so I needed to wait before I could check-in. Once I spoke with the staff, I was able to grab my order right away. Parking was available but the lot itself was limited and small; alternatively there also residential street parking nearby. There's seating both inside and outside as well. For the fries, it was a large size so it a good amount. It was certainly cheesy and has a lot of chili on the top layer. It was pretty good and satisfied the craving! read more

I really wanted to like this place more than I did. Easy parking both in the lot and on the side street. The decor is great with very cool car-themed vinyl seat art. I ordered a cheeseburger combo, swapping out fries and getting onion rings instead. It was an unremarkable 3.5 star burger, but I can only give the onion rings 2 stars. Probably I should have had the fries instead. Despite being a "burger" joint, the majority of the menu is Mexican food, and if I come back, I'll focus on that next time. read more

Surprised to see that they were open early little after 6:30am so figured might as well stop by to pick up Breakfast Super Burrito. First time trying it and man that hit the spot. Karla was going crazy over 4 napkins for 4 people. She refused to give us 4 napkins for 4 people, instead she gave us one napkin for 4 people due to policy? I think it should be due to common sense? 1 napkin should not be for 4 people. The food was so good but I don't want to go back due to customer service. I wasn't trying to ask for a handful of napkins, all I want was 4 of them and she refused to give them and offer $1 for a single napkin. I don't mind confronting her either if she tries to lie. Asked for a a double pastrami burger. They said they don't have that. They have a pastrami burger and a double cheeseburger. Literally the first place that couldn't figure it out so I had to order a single. In retrospect I should have just gone elsewhere but it was raining. As I was waiting I noticed the floor was covered in ants. Then I get home only to find out this bunch gave me a pastrami and not a pastrami burger. Food: I've tried their cheeseburger and chili cheeseburger. They're both amazing and made to order. Seasoned fries are amazing as well although, I wish they gave out more seasoning on it. They give out large portion sizes and most of the time, I was unable to finish everything. A cheeseburger burger combo with added avocado, seasoned fries, and a soda came out to $10.83 total. Interior: There is a about 6 tables inside and two outside out front. The bench seating is comfortable and everything about the interior looks like if it were in the 80's. Two old school gaming machines inside and a TV. You need a key in order to access the restroom. Restroom is out back, really small and all tagged up with graffiti. Seems decently clean, no hand soap but, they do provide paper towels. One gripe about the interior is that, their is no A/C. Verdict: Valley Super Burgers have been around for a while. There is a reason for it as the food is really good and fresh. Affordable prices and the workers or owner seems to care for the community. I've seen them provide food for a homeless person once. Sometimes you just want to eat a burger. Stopped in on a weekday afternoon to the newly remodeled Valley burger. Booths have been reapholstered and the menus of old have been replaced by new TVs with digital menus displayed. There's also a TV in the corner towards the back but when I came nothing was on it. Ordered a cheeseburger combo to go. The burger patty was a little thinner than I was expecting. They also went a little heavy on the the lettuce. Fries were good though, moderate seasoning and slightly crispy. For $12 it's not bad, because you get a drink and the portions are decent but I was hoping for a heartier burger. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The cook/ person who took our order was pissed when we asked for salsa. She wasn't friendly at all. The meat inside the burrito my boyfriend ordered seemed old. I ordered a corn dog and it was way overcooked. Doesn't look like much when you pass by but this place has been around for a long time. Breakfast plate was good. Short Stack pancakes were ok. Could be better. Fries are average. Ended up putting my own seasoning on them. French Toast were also good. Prices here are great. Cheap prices. What I tried was good. Lady in drive-thru/cook were helpful and a pleasure to deal with. First time back since the remodel and all I can say is "wow!" Brand new tables and benches. Totally different from the old restaurant. Ordered a cheeseburger combo with chili cheese fries and paid under $15! What a deal! The food was made with so much love! That burger was stacked like a freaking episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. Heading back to the shop after completing an assignment has brought me and my coworker to this place to pick up lunch for the guys at work. I've passed by this place many times and today was good as any to try out their menu. I got the Hamburger Combo and my hungry coworker got the Chicken Dinner. After we returned back to the shop we proceeded to chow down. I was amazed at the generous proportions! The burger was big and juicy. The onions were great while the dressing reminded me of a certain secret sauce. The fries were alot and can serve two people. Seasoned and crispy they were quite good. I tried some of that fried chicken and thought that they were crispy and not too oily. They can be a little dry in the center but that can be overlooked. And the proportions are also generous. All and all it was a good lunch. I'm always glad to try out Mom and Pop diners because they can be unique in their own way and I'm always open to new experiences. We finally got out to try this place for dinner and after, we kind of wished we hadnt. We ordered a regular burger, chili burger, chili cheese fries, beef taquitos and a taco de adobada. The burger was alright, nothing special. The chili in the chiliburger had a weird taste so after a few bites my husband realized that he just couldnt get over the taste and threw it out. The chili fries also had a weird taste so we ended up throwing those out also. The beef taquitos were nothing special at all. The taco was meh. We wont be going back. read more

So I have to give a shout out to Valley Super Burger. What could have been a disastrous night was turned into a truly appreciated act of generosity. I got a call from my wife on my way home that I needed to pick up burgers on my way home because the planned dinner was no longer an option. I quickly checked Yelp and saw that Valley Super Burgers was my most efficient option on my way home with just a short detour. It looked like any old neighborhood Mexican Burger joint so common to the San Gabriel Valley, generally reliable but normally unremarkable. I got there, placed my order, and then discovered their Credit Card machine was out of service. I panicked for a moment, but then saw that I had a BofA two blocks away, ok, this is workable. I dashed off to a drive thru ATM, only to remember once I got there, my ATM card was disabled recently due to fraudulent activity. I had no way to pull cash...oh God. I drove back, and immediately apologized for the inconvenience. I said I could Zelle the money or I could leave my driver's license until I could get them the cash, I would find a way to pay them. The older woman there just asked if I was local, I said yes and she told me just to come by and pay them when I could get back to them. I was dumbstruck. I couldn't believe it. A few minutes later I was handed my food and sent on my way. I still couldn't believe it. My family had its dinner on time because of their generosity and trust in people. I will be back there tomorrow to pay my tab and then some. The food was solid, my wife likes her bacon fully crisp and they made it well done without issue. My carnitas dinner burrito, no rice, double beans, was actually fantastic. It was slightly spicy and not overly salted but still flavorful. The medium zucchini fries was a very generous portion and more than enough to serve as a side for two adults and a toddler. And all our food, two cheeseburgers, one with bacon, one dinner burrito and an order of zucchini was less than $25. If you're passing by, give them a try, genuinely kind people, really good food. read more

I use to come here when I was in high school 14 years ago! Wow didnt seem that long until I calculated it. Anyways, back then from what I remembered, valley burger was the spot. They had these fries and stood have a shaker of seasoning that you could just drench your fries with. More recently though the food hasn't been the same as I remembered. I'm not sure if it's the same owners from 14 years ago or if they changed but the food quality is not that great. I got the chili cheese fries and it was not anything special.
