The chili dog here is really made with TLC. It takes her about 10-12 minutes to grill the big weiner, steam the bun, and add two kinds of shredded cheese. And the fries come out nice: crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. read more

From what I heard the place use to be called Jim's, now it's called Valley Super Burger, the burgers are pretty big here, meat is thin but they actually make a decent burger. Run by two ladies that are nice and accommodating, even offered a refill of my drink, that is a nice touch, most places they charge. The order of fries was enough for three of us and tasted good, I really enjoy extra crispy fries, not soggy or undercooked like most places have. This is the impression I get from Valley Super Burger when I tried it for the first time. Seeing its location and the exterior appearance, I assume it'll be a typical burger joint of average everything. I was so wrong, I've never been so wrong about a burger place. Their burgers are huge, greasy, and full of juicy flavors I can not describe in any other way but "You have to try it". They serve an enormous amount of fries, a combo is more like a feast for a small army. Despite the large quantities, the quality is oh so good. How real American burgers should be made, it made me shed red, white, and blue tears. The atmosphere makes me feel like some high school student in the late Cold War era, where life is actually very simple and burgers are cool to eat daily. Greasy fast food. This is the reason why I'm 13 pounds heavier than I was at the beginning on the year, it's kind of sad. Fried zucchinis for $3 and fries for 2$. I tried Jim's the day before and wanted to try this place to compare. The place was practically empty with two customers when I walked in, yet the parking lot was packed. I noticed people who live on the block were parking in the lot. Onto the burger, I've ordered a 1/2 double at Jim's so it was only fair to order something exactly alike here the super cheese. The burger sauce was a lot thicker, patty size was about the same, however I felt there is more flavor with the valley burger one and you get a lot more fries. This is the few times where I could not finish a meal, there was just too many fries. There was only one lady working at the time, she didn't look happy to be there. Valley Burger kind of reminds me of Jim's Burger. I'm a fatty, and go out to eat a lot, so I came to Valley Burger. I remember having a burger from here once, and it was pretty tasty. My friends would always go and get some zucchini fries from here, but I'm not a fan of that. The seasoned fries are a must have here, and they're freaking delicious. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and I absolutely love how the indoor seating is because it's old fashioned. What I don't like is how long it takes for you to get your order. Valley Super Burgers...I remember this place when I was in High School. I used to love their hamburger special, but then again, that was when I didn't have my license and I couldn't drive anywhere else. Now that I think about it, my childhood hangout has okay burgers and sandwiches, but I do have to give them kudos for updating the place and making it look a lot nicer and that is the only reason why I gave them that fourth star. The food is alright, but you will find this type of burger joint in almost every corner of any city, so unless your really hungry and this is the only food establishment around, don't waste your time. I love this place! The lady that works here is absolutely fantastic talk to. They close at 9 PM but she still took my order at 9:40 PM! The food was great and not too greasy. I got a cheese burger and cheese fries for my first order. Cheese fries were crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. I asked for some diced onion on top, aMAZINg! Cheeseburger was alright. I mean, its a cheeseburger. However, I can't complain about how fresh it was. All the vegetables were crisp, meat was juicy. I guess if they toasted the bun, it would have been a nice touch. I dunno, been living a few houses away for almost 20yrs now and I don't think it's the same since the new owners about 10yrs ago. Used to get hooked up for being a regular but not anymore. I've been to this place multiple times. The food is good and not over price. They do give you alot of fries. At 12 they can get busy cause they only have a staff of 2 but I don't mind the wait. I don't really like the service or the food here. I came here once with my boyfriend, and then a second time with my boyfriend, and two of my percussion-mates. My boyfriend and one of my friends (both are Mexican) ordered and she didn't have to repeat their order or anything, she got it. When my other friend and I ordered, we are both extremely fluent in English (I mean I was born in California!), she repeated our order like 7 times, even though we'd ordered the same thing as my boyfriend. Secondly, the food does not taste that great. I prefer Jim's zucchini fries. However, the seasoning on the fries is pretty good. I've only had the season fries here. Seems like the old fashion fries that people look for. It takes about 7 or 10 minutes depending on the size. Service is friendly and parking is not an issue. I had only one experience where it seems like my fries have been over cooked but not so burnt. But its not regular so its just a mistake that happens once in a blue moon I guess.
