We bought a built-in large refrigerator from Ferguson in Burlington 5 years ago. Very expensive to…read morebuy. This refrigerator was delivered and installed by Ferguson. This refrigerator recently died and we have bought a replacement elsewhere. On removing the refrigerator, it was discovered that the required anchor anti-tip bolts were never attached! And the installers also broke a back foot! As this refrigerator was top heavy, these anchor bolts are required for safety reasons! And probably the lack of anchoring might have shorted the lifespan of this refrigerator as it began to sit uneven and felt more wobbly over time. It is our suggestion that Ferguson contact all owners that have purchased built-in appliances that require anchor bolts and have them inspected. They can fall over causing severe damage, and could hurt someone. And finally, if we had to design our kitchen over again, we would never do built-in appliances ever again. They look good. But, they are not worth it!

We arrived with an unusual part for a hot/cold hose bib in the back yard. Odd threads that nobody…read morein town was able to pinpoint. Then came Phil. This guy knows what he's talking about. Although he'd never seen one before he called around to the manufacturer of the product and said "wait a minute, says I have one available". Got off the phone and walked to where they may have been located and found 4. I bought 2 so that I'd have a back up. I highly recommend these guys, they not only had my part but if not they were determined to find it and order if possible. This is not a final destination point after all else fails. This is a beginning to an end. It's here if you can't find it then move on. But as unusual as this part was I'll bet they find yours!! Thanks Phil and others for your tremendous service!!

I am writing this review a little late, so things may have changed at the store, but here goes:…read moreA friend of mine lands in the hospital in Burlington. Serious, serious situation. Audio books are all he can do to help distract. I go to T-mobile to find a wired phone to headphones adapter for him. They don't have it but they say to try Best Buy down the street. (Cool on you, T-Mobile). I go to Best Buy. Cashier says she sees 3 on inventory, takes me to shelf=nothing. She calls manager. He shows up. I tell him story of what I need and why, and WHOA.... They start digging. Manager on computer, cashier in the under-counter storage areas. Cashier empties the storages=no luck. Manager finds that the adapters are discontinued but he thinks they never left the store. The next thing I know they have dragged out this big cardboard box and both of them are digging through it item by item. And from somewhere in that box they find 3 phone-to-wired headphone adapters. I bought all 3. Now there were many times that they could have given up and I would have understood and held no grudge at all, but they didn't. I was stressed out at the time so I didn't get names like I should have, but they were amazing and it meant so much to my friend. You two have my thanks. I will say that when it was time for the purchase of a large order of PCs for a local business, they followed my recommendation and bought them from Best Buy in Burlington.

FOUND OUR DREAM OVEN, THEY MET OUR PRICE, THEN DELIVERED & HAULED OUR OLD ONE AWAY…read more Our old range (stove top + oven) was nearly antique --and not in a cute way-- and when it began leaking gas, she was done. We went to several appliance shops, recycling places, and the "big box" stores, but eventually settled here... My husband found our dream range (pictured): 5 burners w/center griddle & double ovens, top small & bottom regular size convection. Over $1,200 new, she was dinged on the side & near a back burner (but nearly invisible). The shop gave us a discount: originally priced at $1,000, they worked with our budget & came down to $800! A killer deal and best birthday gift I've ever received! Their staff delivered it the very next day. The two workers handled the process quickly and efficiently, plus removed the dead antique. The fit through the door was troublesome though. They were readying to remove our side door, when I luckily thought to measure the front which had ample space, to which one jokingly asked if I'd like a job! Apparently knowing when and how to measure a door is a rare skill these days, (though I'm not surprised). He made me feel special nonetheless, lol. Of course there was no hooking it up at that moment since --being gas-- it requires a tradesman. She was hooked up the next day though and, wow, she is beautiful & cooks beautifully! I had no idea lighting burners could be so seamless & smooth! We will be sure to use this business again and for other appliances! Tips: - When connecting a gas appliance be sure to tighten couplings on the unit itself, not just the hoses you connect to them; we had a tiny leak that came from where the tubing exited the unit housing itself (an easy fix, but check that). - Haggle on price; they'll work around your budget. They brought the cost way down, even on a unit so new it was currently at Lowes/HD for sale. - We always try to shop where we live and keep it local. So if you too can support small, independently-owned businesses like these, it's a huge help to the local economy and tax base. The money you spend stays here, gets spent here, and is a part of this community.
