I recently purchased a new vehicle at Russell Westbrook CDJR in Van Nuys through the Costco Auto Buying program. My sales rep was Vianne Curiel and she was great. She listened to what I wanted and didn't dictate what I should have. She went out of her way to locate a vehicle with the equipment I wanted. It was lacking a tow hitch and leather seats that I wanted, but she promptly wrote up a Due Bill saying that the dealership owed me these items. After trade-in and discounts, I was pleased with the "bottom line" and we closed the deal. She even drove 22 miles to my house for my wife to sign as co-signer. What a gal! She was polite, attentive, and responsive, and I would encourage anyone to contact her on their next vehicle purchase. BAIT AND SWITCH - BUNCH OF CHEATS I did a deal on a new lease via Russell Westbrook. A monkey could have sold me this car, because I drove specifically to RW Jeep cause they had the specific Paint/ Trim Package I wanted on a new Compass. On my way in I called the dealership and a salesman answered. I said I have one or two lease payments left on my current lease and there is no point in me coming up there unless you can take care of these for me. If you can, Ill likely lease a compass today. The Salesman told me " no problem", and so with my two kids in tow we drove an hour and a half to the valley. At the time of the deal we talked about them taking over my current lease again, and he even took my username and password for Chrysler Capital to make sure I only had one/two lease payments due, which he agreed to pay. The deal was they would take my old lease off my hands, and in turn I would lease a new Compass. I have been through this process before with West Valley Jeep and Marina Del Rey Honda, and never received a bill afterward. NOT AT RUSSELL WESTBROOK. 2 months after I left my old lease in their hands, and drove my new compass off the lot...I received a bill from Chrysler Capital for $1000 ( $300 for the remaining one lease payment, $350 tire damage ( there was no tire damage - I feel RW possibly swapped the tires ), and a $350 'disposition fee'. I was concerned and confused and call the dealership. I never lost my temper. I left multiple LONG voicemails for the finance dept, and managers. NO ONE EVER returned my call. My husband called for me, and they promised me I would get a return call ...but it never happened. During one of my many calls, a receptionist told me once that "Joddi" said he would take care of me and I needed to come in to the dealership. I explained to her that I don't live close and have a full time job, and asked her to confirm with me...that "take care of me" means he'll pay this bill. She couldn't confirm that and so I said I wasnt going to come in. You can understand why I wouldn't want to drive an hour and a half to a dealership full of men that wont return my call to have them tell me to stick it. I went to the post office and sent them registered mail. I sent faxes and emails through the site. NO RESPONSE EVER! They never paid the lease payments they promised, they did not 'TAKE CARE OF IT' and I was charged fees I never knew could exist. DON'T DO A DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are not honest. What you agree upon wont be in the paperwork...and when youre not a car salesman like I am not...you don't know what to look for and whats missing when you are signing 50 pages worth of documents. I understood everything I signed, but i didnt realize what WASNT in the paperwork. If someone had ever responded to my long voicemails...or answered my call, this could have been cleared up, clarified. $1000 in unexpected fees.....cause I did business with these folks. They have a good product, but I would 1000% say take the extra 15 minute drive to West Valley Jeep and dont get swindled and hoodwinked. read more

7/20/19: I've been going to Russel Westbrook for years now and for good reasons. The staff and service departments are second to none and in my many years of buying cars, I've never had an experience that had a friendlier, no-hassle and fast staff. The first time I went to Russel Westbrook CJDR, I was buying my Jeep at the end of its lease. It was raining that day and as soon as I parked, there was a staff member that greeted me at my car with an umbrella to walk me in. *I was done with the process of buying my car in under 45 minutes.* I was impressed and almost shocked because this dealership experience was different and much better than I was used to. Flash forward a bit over a year and I was ready for a new car. I shopped my Jeep around with various dealership including Carmax and the offers I received were less than I expected. I stopped by Russel Westbrook CJDR and not only did they buy my car, but they beat every offer I had on my Jeep by a large margin. My experience with this dealership has only made me trust them more and I ended up getting another Jeep from them. Best part... I was there for under an hour and a half. I want to thank everyone for helping me with the sale of my previous Jeep and with the lease of my new Jeep Gladiator and the years of great service from the service department. I Recently purchased a new vehicle at this dealership , and worked with Chris. He was excellent throughout, and it was a great buying experience with no pressure. I went to 3 other dealers and the difference is noticeable. Other dealers had no follow up after the test drives or tried high pressure "used car salesman" tactics. Great attention by my salesperson, Sergio Cortes. He actually listens to you and tries to make you happy. He is very knowledgeable and obviously does his homework with the products he is selling. He took the time to explain to me my car's features and the perks that come from getting a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo E! Nice guy(no weird vibe), and I would refer my friends and family to him. I even told him that I would feel bad leaving the dealership without getting a car as him as my sales person since he was just a pleasure to do business with. Came to lease a grand jeep Cherokee with my bf. Roger helped us out with finalizing the deal and we were very happy to the new addition to our house. Roger was very helpful and nice and made sure we were happy with our deal. Taking off one star for the lack of coffee( machine broken )and snacks for free. Kinda of a joke since every other dealership has At least some coffee and a cookie of some sort. They actually have a mini mart in the place that you have to pay for snacks. I also didn't like the floorplan of not having a proper office to sit with your salesman. I guess I'm just used to Keyes lolll. These are little things so if you want a jeep just make sure to ask for Roger and come on a full stomach. read more

Giving them 1 star although the sales representative I dealt with onsite was nice. However, despite warning them to not make me drive for more than an hour one way, they assured me they have the advertised vehicle in stock, which wasn't the case. The confirmation was given to me over the phone literally as I got ready to sit and drive, and I was told the vehicle will be on hold. When i arrived about an hour later, I was told the car was supposedly sold 15 minutes ago?! The lady that spoke with me over the phone was "an online sales rep", unavailable at the dealer location. This kind of tricks are usually used to get you in. Companies like Carvana, Carmax and Shift will likely take most business away from traditional dealerships when it comes to used vehicles. They are straight forward, you book the vehicle online and can literally pick it up within 20 minutes once you schedule your pickup. They also pay best for used cars. read more

The way they treated this employee in my eyes was horrible. Then I went there for a white vehicle and tried to show me a blue one. Couple weeks back, brought my 2008 Patriot in for service. Thought I still had a couple oil changes that I paid for left but apparently not, which is fine. The service department is rude and unhelpful. Decided to take my Jeep elsewhere to get the oil change. The service department seems like they are outsourced and not part of the dealership. Considering consolidating my 2 cars into one and this is the last place I'll take my business. There's no way I'd consider working with that service department. read more

After my car suddenly broke down, I immediately had to take it to the dealership. I had made an appointment prior to coming in, but unfortunately was not in the system when I arrived. Alan was more than helpful and believed me when I told him that I had made an appointment a few days prior (which I did!) and went ahead and helped me out anyways. My car turned out to be completely ruined and instead of trying to overcharge me, Alan was nice enough to help me find the best way to deal with my car at a price I could afford. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Called to make an appointment for recall fixes on my jeep. Was told it would be two months to be able to come in and fix it. Come in on the schedule date to have the recall's fixed. Was then told they would need my car for up to five days to figure out what was wrong with it when it was just the recalls to be fixed. Was called two days later saying it was going to cost almost $1500 to fix. When I started asking questions I was then told never mind did you know your car has a recall. I replied with yes that the whole reason I brought it in. I was then told it was going to cost me $300 to fix an update witch didn't make any sense to me because the recall said both updates were covered in the recall. When my vehicle was finally being worked on I was told it would originally be ready for fix up on Monday. I was then called and said my vehicle wouldn't be ready until the next day. I was annoyed because I had already moved my plans around to pick up my car that day. I had to move my plans around again the following day to pick up my vehicle. The whole process was just a huge waste of time and hassle to deal with. If I could I would give zero stars I would. read more

Bait and Switch . Sales rep told me over the phone, "we have good news for you. We can get a you in this Grand Cherokee High Altitude for a payment of $599 on a 3 year lease." When I went in to the dealer, they said that my payment would be $765 a month. If I wanted to finance and take advantage of the dealer discounted price, then I would have to purchase Theft Patrol for an additional $1900. Theft Patrol is mandatory if I want their best price. Either way, I was forthright about being upside down on my current car and they used this to my disadvantage. No formal appraisal, they just pulled KBB and said $xx,xxx is what your car is worth. You are actually more upside down than what you think. I have a 779 credit score, and have leased or owned at least two cars with Chrysler Capital over the last 4 years. The only offer was a 6 year lease for $749 per month. I liked the car and agreed to the deal. I paused and did the math again. Wait, I'll pay $75,000 for a $54,000 vehicle and would still owe roughly $18,000 if I bought out the vehicle after 6 years? No, kill the deal! The sad part is that I went to this dealer because I had previously leased 3 years prior from the same sales person. Clearly, you don't value your customers or repeat clientele. Riyad, Sales Director and Rodrigo, "manager", I'm not sure how you both have jobs?!? You have zero business or sales skills. Sometimes you need to think outside the box in sales! Hunter in Lancaster could teach you a thing or two about good business. You ran my credit and then tried to royally screw me. Buyer beware, this is a dealership with bad management and staff. Side note, the sales person confirmed to me that they record the phones, and they get in trouble if they don't get you into the dealership. I recently noticed that my license plate was wiggling, as if somebody had tried to steal my plates. I called the jeep dealership and asked if I could bring my car by for them to take a look at it, I didn't schedule an appointment because I was unsure of timing, however I was okay with potentially waiting. I showed up an hour later. I was quickly greeted, I'm grateful for the kind people at the service center who got me in so fast and serviced my car to fix the issue. SHADY! I helped my 84 year old mom purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I asked if we could do the financing via email and they said yes, apply in line so we did. Then they said that they couldn't give us the terms of the loan over the phone that we would have to come down? We live over 2 hours away, I had to insist that we get the terms of the loan before we came down, again they said we don't do business like that? Again I had to tell them, look, others dealers do this get with the times. Finally they gave us the terms and they were horrible. First of all they wanted to sell my mom a $8,000 warranty!? We said no. 4.9% interest rate and super high payment. Mom has great credit and was putting $10,000 down. Justin, the guy who lied to my 84 year old mom and told her there was no way they would ever give us terms via, text or email, also lied and said 4.9% was the best rate ANYONE could get. Then he lied and said the finance team had left for the night (later u found out they don't leave until sometimes as late as midnight). We had to go to our credit union, get approved for 3% even. Then when I told Justin we were we going to use our credit unions financing THEN they gave us a better rate. It was just not a good experience. Then when we finally got the car and the lapsed plates no one was there to help put the plates in the car. We had to drive home with no plates. It was a super stressful experience. Be careful with these people there are not honest nor trustworthy. read more

Not even a month later I received the registration to the car that I bought I was being charged the registration fee and the tags on the car that I had just purchased in September I have gone to the dealer multiple times to speak to my sales representative Leo and his manager Eric they have both told me that they're going to speak to their finance department I've called them multiple times to not receive an answer yet we are now in the beginning of the year January 2022 and I never got a response back I called multiple times I spoke to my sales representative multiple times to not get answers to why I was being charged. The first time that I went with that problem I also had A problem with my car my sales representative told me he was going to book me an appointment to the service department the following day to show up the following day and for them to tell me that they had nothing on the system. This is in review of the Service Department. After coming from a horrible experience at Cerritos Dodge, Dodge Corporate referred me to Mr.Robert Pane at Russell Westbrook CDJR. Rob did an amazing job at taking care of my replacement radio and my window switch. He made sure I was taken care of and expeditiously ordered the parts and had the work completed in less than one day. He also got me into a loaner car to make sure I had a way to get around. His communication was also excellent. He kept me updated with status of the replacement parts as to when they were received. He also called me with progress reports as to how the work was going when I took my car in. He has even followed up to make sure the replacement work is functioning correctly and it is, all the work done to my car is working just fine. To be fair, they were very responsive, but when it came time to do the deal there were a lot of red flags. When comparing to other offers, other Jeep dealers warned Russell Westbrook would alter the agreed deal and find ways to raise the price. Russell Westbrook sales were very eager to earn my business and offered a plethora of add-ons (leather, remote start) but could not close the deal at the end of the day. They went back on their word and raised the agreed upon monthly payment. I ended up getting another Jeep (already fully loaded) from Glen E. Thomas at Signal Hill and that process was way easier and much more honest and transparent. Going forward, I would never return to this dealer again. read more

Once we arrived, the salesman not only confessed he had little to no experience on the make and model vehicle we were interested in, but gave us a run around for +2 hours (trying to confuse us with moving numbers around, amongst other scare tactics), but he and his manager didn't even deliver on the previous pricing agreed to over the phone. We could also see them playing basketball while we were mid discussion for about a 30min wait... When I said I was tired and wanted the night to think over the terms, the salesman asked us why we were even there, and suggested we should have walked out a while ago - so of course we did. Return customer for 3 years and I got treated like I was not as important . I bought a truck on my 2nd return to this dealer and I will not be going back . They ran my credit more then they needed too even when I asked them not to run my credit more than 1 time . They did not give me all the accessories I was charged for and was included in my contract. I have been calling for the past 2 weeks and still have not gotten a return call back as promised or my items I paid for as they promised to send them thru fedex. The reason I did not get all my items is because my sales rep Nathan was a rookie and left home before I can get my keys my mats for the car and also the manual. All he cared about is making sure the sale goes thru . I had already been there all day and when I'm about to leave they couldn't find my keys for my trade in so I can get my items out of my old car and the anti theft was still on the new car so I couldn't drive away and had to wait another 30 min for some one to help me . The person that was putting the plates on my car Andrew kept telling me that he has customers waiting and that by helping us was effecting his sale . I don't care about ur inconvenience all I care about is to leave . . So finally they unlocked my ani theft and I got to leave . I have been calling for the past 3 weeks now to get my items and they have been giving me the run around , it's so pathetic all these people they have and they can't do 1 thing right . Unhappy. Bought my 2013 Challenger R/T from this location when it was Dodge Superstore. Came back here because I received a letter in mail stating I can keep my payments and get a new vehicle. After coming in and showing this letter, I come to find out there is no "deal", it's just another sales gimmick to get people to run their credit. They did not stick to their word in the letter, they could not get me any vehicle. Very unhappy about this, I have never been late on any payment on my car. Also the sales rep was more focusing on other clients than he was with us. I was very irritated about this as well. I am not sure how I feel about coming here to purchase a car once my credit is better, I rather just go else where. read more

I would definitely not recommend this place. Bought an Acura tlx from them. During the process, sales man Brian and his supervisor Rodrigo failed to disclose that the car had dents on the left front and left rear fenders. They tried to hide it and was hoping i wouldn't notice until it was too late. that to me is wrong. They later agreed to fix it but their body shop mechanic did a very poor job and Rodrigo said they couldn't do anything else about it. Overall, spent a lot of money and wasted time and am VERY UNSATISFIED with their service. read more
