I went in for a basic oil change and tire rotation, since covered under maintenance. Left 1.5 hours later and I was driving down van nuys blvd, felt my car swerve. Then the right wheel started coming off. The tech did not tighten lug nuts and put my life in danger. Pretty much all I got was a sorry and are giving me a new wheel and rim, plus any other damages it may have caused to my car that is about 4 months old. Luckily I was able to pull over in time before the wheel fell completely off. Only two lug nuts left, while other 3 popped off. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE. STAY AWAY, YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT. One of the mechanics there had to drive a shuttle so I can pick my son up, as I was atleast thankful for that. Last time I'll ever bring my car here for service. I was there 5 hours for a basic oil change and now my car is there overnight to be repaired because of a negligent mechanic that shouldn't be allowed to work on cars. Took our Jeep Grand Cherokee in as Check Engine Light was on. Dropped off the afternoon before the morning appointment. At 12:30 the next day, we initiated a call to check status. Hector, Service Advisor, said he will look into it as the car was seen at 9:30 that morning and he should have heard something. At 3:00, we called again since we had not heard. Hector is not a good liar and I could see he was handing me a load of crap as to what was being done. I then spoke with Roy, service manager, who identified some of the issues and codes they were receiving. He confirmed the car was only seen at 2:00 confirming Hector's lies. The next day the car was released with "there is nothing we can find wrong with it," and the codes were cleared by them. The check engine light was soon back on by the next day. We called Roy, our helpful (not) service adviser, who basically washed his hands of it and said I don't know what you want me to do about it. He must not understand his title that he is the "service" Manager. He lacks customer service in every way. This Jeep year has one of those rare manufacturer power train warranties and clearly he wanted no part of it-- passed us on to somebody else-- apparently warranty work is not profitable. Avoid this dealership. As to the owners-- you need a new Service Manager because I don't think Roy is the guy you want representing you. Val the salesman was correct when over the phone he said they had a large selection and I would leave happy. Val took me to every Jeep I was interested in and we searched the inventory for my exact requirements. We found the lowest priced Jeep compared to other dealers and the internet. One dealer on the internet had a much better deal and I was ready to drive 70 miles to his dealership. Val got on the phone with the dealer and asked the right questions and found out it was not really a deal at all and saved me from that worthless fishing expedition. No BS. Most of it had to do with Tarek Abu-Hajar, an incredibly patient and helpful Sales associate who made the experience of purchasing the car absolutely painless. Tarek really is to be commended for his knowledge and overall calm demanor and laidback sale pitch. My wife are planning on buying another vehicle from Tarek before the end of the year actually. Russell Westbrook has the worst customer service ever! I purchased this full-size hardtop Jeep last December. I went in with a photo of exactly what I wanted. Lifted with rims and tires. I picked the rims and tires from the website they gave me and left everything else up to them (The supposed "professionals" ). They quoted me an additional $10,000 to lift it with the rims and tires I wanted. Just two short months later in February it was making this horrific sound and they are REFUSING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! We've been coming in and calling since February and now it's December and I'm still driving around like this. They're telling me that I need to purchase an additional tire kit for almost $1000. This is super shady. I had the dealership do this for a reason so that they would take responsibility but they are treating us with so much disrespect it's ridiculous. They don't call us back, they give us the runaround, and when we go in personally they are unbelievably rude! I highly do not recommend that anyone goes to this dealership. We had absolutely the worst experience at this location yesterday. We called the day before and spoke with a Melvin to confirm an online price for a 2019 Jeep Wrangler before taking the time to go look at it. When we arrived for our appointment Melvin was not there so the manager had Sergio help us out. We showed Sergio the online vehicle, stock number and price we were looking for and he said he'd need to pulled it off their other lot. We waited about 30 minutes and were amazed by the awful presentation. The Jeep looked like it had been 4-wheeling; dried mud all over the tires and body. Sergio apologized and said they'd get it cleaned up for us. We questioned the tools to remove the top since they were not in the vehicle, plus the 2nd key and owner's manual were missing. They said they'd locate them while we were completing the deal. Once inside Sergio said let me get the paperwork. We waited about 10 minutes then he asked us to hold on for a few more minute because he needed to speak with his manager about the price again. What was there to discuss? The online price was in his hand. Once Sergio returned he presented us with the price which was $3,000+ more than the online price. We questioned why it was more than the online price and he said it was because we weren't financing with them (we planned to do a cash deal). We then asked to speak with his manager who told us a different reason (something to do with dealer stock and add-ons). Obviously we walked... actually drove to Ventura Crown Dodge and purchased the exact same 2019 Jeep out-the-door for $3,000+ less than these crooks wanted. read more

Honestly be aware of this place!!! what you see online for the price it's not the price when you get there they add about $3000 worth of attachments which you might not even need and they won't take them off or waive the $3000 worth of attachment. The car was suppose to be $29,850 before tax and fees but they added $3000 worth of attachments which I didn't need and they were trying to sale me the car for $39,850 before the interest rate.They also use code name to make fun of you the manager was saying to the salesman we should try to give him the Mickey Mouse interest rate or the goofy interest rate honestly when I heard that and it took me a while to figure out that they are making fun of me or trying to scam me. The only reason I came here was because my Brother bought the car here and the price sounded too good to be true. I also checked my brother contract and he got scammed the car was $26,000 before taxes and fees and the car came out to $34,500 and he didn't buy any extended warranty just the car I'm pretty sure they added the $3000 worth of attachments plus some other stuff. I have never posted a Yelp review but felt I needed to after this experience. We went to buy a Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk on Nov. 24, 2019. The car was advertised on line for $40,789.00. When we arrived we asked about this specific car and gave them the Vin#. First they couldn't find the car. The low jack said the car was in Irvine but it was eventually found after driving to their other lots. We went back to the dealer and told them we would buy the car for the $40,789.00 which was posted on their website and on the sticker. The sales manager George came back and said I couldn't pay cash for the car and had to finance it for that price. I asked if they had a prepayment penalty if I paid it off right away. They said no so I agreed to finance the car. We filled out all of the paperwork to run my credit. Then they game back and said they didn't run my credit because they had to charge me an additional $4200.00 for some low jack system that didn't even work. I said no and to disconnect it and I would take the car. They refused to do the deal and we left very upset. It was a terrible experience. It's very unfortunate that Russell Westbrook's name is associated with this dealership. If you want to buy a Jeep go to another dealer. These guys are the worst! read more

Customer service is horrible. I had my jeep at another dealership and they were back up with a lot of cars to fix so I called Russel Westbrook Jeep and they told me that if i brought my jeep to them they would be able to look at it the next day. they asked me the problem and i told them it was a problem with the clutch. They said no problem they would find out what the issue was. A week later they still have not found out the problem. I called in to them and they gave me excuse after excuse. I explained too Fabian the only reason i took my jeep from the other dealership and brought my jeep to them was due to what i was told on the phone. He promised me that they would take take care of it and at least have an answer for me by Friday after them having the vehicle already a week. Now its Saturday and I'm calling and no one is available and they keep sending me to Voicemail. I suggest if you need to get your vehicle fixed take it to Glendale not Van Nuys. They always respond, do a great job and just all around a great dealership. I thought because Van Guys was closer I would try it out but never again. Aside from not giving them my business I will be telling my friends who referred me and writing about this on every platform I can. read more

I have giving them 3 stars because of the general manager. We asked if we could have the rims and tires from our trade in because they were black rims and my husband really likes them. We were told yes by the general manager, then he turned around and said no. The general manager going back on his word has left a bad taste in my mouth on this dealership. Do not come here it was the worst car buying experience I've had. I've bought cars before cash but decided to help a family build credit so I came here. First off this person thought it was okay to run my credit without me even being PRESENT, anyone at all can come in with a pic of an id and social and say a person is their family member it does not mean it's true anyone can find a wallet on the streets or come across someone else information. I don't understand how he thought it was okay to do that without my permission or my presence. the people working here are scams. The person who attended us, Jesse, was honestly so dumb I'd ask him a question about a charge and what it's for and where it come from and he kept dodging my questions he lied about the price to my face when I had the paper in my hand. I work in sales and services too so I know that I can always break down the cost for my customers and explain to them what's what. Well after he ran my credit he said I was approved and that I can pick up the car tomorrow and I said okay I'm not signing until I see the car. I came the next day to pick up the car supposedly and they tell me the car isn't here and that my approval is still pending at that point I just told the manager that I'd go somewhere else and so I left and we bought the car at a different dealer it was actually the first one we went to, they have much better customer service. This place sucks and they need to reconsider their employees or at least train them better. read more

Called parts for a new key fob for my Dodge Ram. They have the part , transfer me to service department to book the appointment. I ask them if I need to have part held or will service do that. They tell me service will handle it. I book the appointment for 2 weeks later. I ask service if they will have the part held, they confirm that they will. Show up for my appointment two weeks later, NO FOB!! They ask me to come back in a couple hours ,they'll bring one over from another dealer. It took me an hour to get there and an hour to get back home!! Now they want to waste more of my time!! Why is there time so valuable? read more
