Went in to try and lease a new Jeep. Spent hours waiting only for them to tell me I was denied, after they told me I was already approved. They ended up telling me I needed a co-signer then eventually denying me again and leaving me hanging out to dry. I ended up leaving, going down the street and was able to lease the same vehicle for the same price, with only my name on the application. I was also offered $1500 more for my trade in. Where do I start, I came here Friday March 20th from Ventura County 45-50 min drive to Van Nuys. I scheduled a time to see the car at noon, the customer service was AWFUL !!! I saw that the car was at the front and was at the front waiting for 10 min, a few salesman passed by me until one asked who we were looking for and told me oh he is inside you can find him there WTF haha!!!!! The car that I saw online did not look like the one I was looking at in real life. The car I saw in March 20th had safety door protectors coming off and dents all over, some scratches which it looked like nail polishes trying to cover those imperfections. GO ELSE WHERE!! THIS DEALER IS DIRTY AND RAN MY CREDIT A 2ND TIME WHEN I TOLD THEM NOT TO BY PHINE CALL AND TEXT! I used a auto broker to try and get a wrangler since deals were crazy at the time. We ran my credit with Chrysler Financial and I did not like the numbers so we had no deal. A few days later I reached out directly to the sales lady that was helping me (as I was no longer working with my auto broker) and I asked her if they could give me a better deal, she asked if i wanted they can run my credit with another bank which I verbally told her over the phone PLEASE DO NOT RUN MY CREDIT A SECOND TIME, I also sent her a text message with those exact words. Well a few days later I noticed that they ran my credit a second time without my approval! I called the manager to see why and who did that and his name started with an "R" and he stated it was him who ran my credit a second time. I asked him why he would do that and his response was "I was trying to help you" then after I told him he had no right to do that he says to me "what, you want me to apologize to you" I was boiled at this point, I started to research who owns this dealer and got lots of info and I found the COO's info Armina. So I called her explaining what van nuys Jeep did. She said she would call me back after she spoke with the dealer and she did just that. She called me back apologizing and agreed her manager shouldn't have spoken to me like that but then she says the dealer never ran my credit a second time, I told her Armina the credit monitoring I have on my credit is not going to be wrong , she said if it's something her dealer did she could notify the 2nd bank to withdraw the credit request. So a few days pass by and I tried to see if they would make this right and they did not. My overall experience buying my latest car last was smooth for the most part. There was a lot of sitting and waiting around because they were so busy, it was end of month, and their computer systems got shut down, but they tried to accommodate me by offering me snacks and water and making conversation. Bob the finance manager in particular made the whole day worth while as he miraculously lowered my monthly payments as well as lowered my interest rate tremendously. While there I asked that they troubleshoot why my car kept overheating after replacing the water pump, radiator fan and radiator and in the end they couldn't even give me a diagnosis. Went in to place an order for a vehicle that I customized and built on my own, unfortunately Dodge requires you to go into their dealerships to put in the order, that's their only job nothing else and they get paid for doing this and a cut from the car sales and coop marketing money for the "sale". I was told from the sales guy via text message that their sales manager approved the special discount I would receive for being an affiliated employee. I had sent them a build for a 2021 but they put in an order for a 2022 and didn't even tell me about it until I went to pick up the car. I had to speak with one of the worst sales managers in car sales history, Eric lopes, has no customer skills and frankly surprised he is a manager. He said he wouldn't honor the special pricing all of a sudden which I was warned about by other dealers, they say yes at the beginning but when the car comes in they decline it because customer ordered cars take presidency over dealer ordered cars so now they have a car to sell at a incredibly high markup price, talk about price gouging this cocky scum said he would get $15 to $20000 off the same car. Great customer experience Dodge. I called him out on all the lies they were giving me and he started getting bothered so I asked him for his business card and he said he doesn't have one, no one does. Funny the sales guy gave me his 3 months ago and another guy gave me his when I walked into the dealership today. Fast forward after talking to that clown Eric they sent me to another general manager named badie who at this point was just trying his best to salvage the lies his team have created and after going back and forth by proving him wrong he took me to "the general manager" who in all honesty looked and acted like a Wiesel. I took my Dodge Charger to Russell Westbrook for all the recalls my car had. I told the Service Department that I'd like nothing more but for them to fix all the recalls. The next day, I end up getting a text that my car doesn't turn on anymore. So they could work on the recalls. One of the recalls regards the airbags send a projectile 200 mph from the airbags. I called management and spoke with Hector. Hector told me that my car didn't start so they couldn't work on the recalls. Management told me that my battery was dead, the fuel pump was supposedly done with and they couldn't work on the recalls. Little did they know that my car had a dash cam and microphone recording everything. I couldn't understand what and how this occurred being I drove my car there. Once I arrived to my car to see what happened, I noticed that my dash cam was disconnected. Strange, I thought. So I investigated and checked my cameras only to see that the people who worked in the Service department were going through my things I had in my trunk. I seen the mechanic go into my trunk and use cutting tools and he was cutting something. Now I'm calling an attorney and going to take this dealership to court. I strongly recommend to take your car elsewhere. This is such a scandalous place. I towed my car away and took it to my mechanic. It's a trip that the battery was still working. However, the mechanics there couldn't work on the recalls. They really messed up my car there. They wanted to charge me $530 to replace my new battery and another $730 to fix my fuel. Which is a total rip off. Russell Westbrook sent me a $3200 bill of things that needed to be done on my car. I'm contacting an attorney that deals with these issues. Do Not take your car here. Since I posted this review, I informed the manager Mike of this situation. I barely contacted an attorney. And I'm going to be moving forward with my case. I have a video where someone drove my car after I dropped it off. Another video shows that two guys were in my trunk and they're using wire cutters. In this video, you can see one guy using wire cutters and removing three wires. And they not anyone had authorization to work on my car. But then I receive a call that my car doesn't start. I never write reviews but I had such a terrible experience with Dependable Dodge and such a great experience with Van Nuys Jeep, I needed to spread the word. I purchased my Jeep from Dependable Dodge in 2021. A month ago my battery stopped charging. I brought it in and was greeted by David Drew. I started to tell the story about my battery problem and before I could finish my story, he said well that is not going to be covered my my warranty. I said I have not even told the story. He said your jeep is too modified. My jeep is just like every jeep, modified. I have a million lights, winch, 37's and lifted. I have not touched the engine at all. None of my modifications had anything to do with why my car was failing to charge the battery. I also needed to have a recall update done to the Jeep. David was rude, condescending and completely unhelpful. Without even looking into the problem or listening to me just started the whole conversation as negative. I asked to have someone else help me but they said no one else could, that was of course a lie. I left my vehicle with them. The next day I received a call from David, he said they were not going to be able to help me, the problem seemed too complicated. He also said my alternator was changing, another lie. They also did not do the update that was needed. I picked up my Jeep, brought it to Van Nuys Jeep and they were friendly and listened to what I had to say about the jeep changing problem. They called me a few days later and stated that the 48V battery was bad and it needed to be replaced. In my Jeep the 48V battery actually charges the 12V battery. They replaced it and the jeep is running perfectly now. All covered under warranty. My modifications had nothing to do with the problem. Their service department is just incompetent and unfriendly. Not only will I never purchase another vehicle from them, I will never return for any reason. I will tell any one who will listen how horrible this dealership is and how horrible David Dew is. Hope this helps someone so they don't waste there time like I did. PS, If I could give Zero stars I would. Bring your Jeep to Van Nuys, they know what they are doing. read more

I drove nearly 2 hours to Van nuys CDJR to trade in my perfectly fine 2020 Silverado Trailboss for a 2021 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax they had for sale. Reason for the trade was because I own a flooring business and needed a 2500 hd Duramax for alot of heavy hauling I do. The day I was there test driving it I noticed the steering wheel was pulling to the sides and I was told its the alignment and they were going to make sure that got fixed before I took it home. The next day they told me it was "ready" so I went to pick it up only for it to still have the same issue. I got home and started doing further inspection underneath the truck and noticed body parts crumbled up like if its been in a car accident so I took it to a auto body shop and they confirmed the whole side of the truck had been a accident and the whole truck has been re-painted! They told me before I did the purchase the truck had (no accidents). That explains why the parking sensors don't work either. The truck is also leaking oil from the engine, has alot more electrical problems , brakes dont work etc. I went back to the dealership a few days later to talk to josh the (used car manager) to explain the issues and tell him I want my truck back. He rudely denied said all he can do is fix it. I ended up waiting 6 hours so all they can do is another alignment! (Ignoring all the other issues). Sure enough that didn't solve the issue AGAIN! He told me they need more time with the truck and to come another day so I can get a rental. Its been a MONTH! and he still doesn't answer my phone calls/texts. I tried speaking with someone else and I was told "the managers already spoke to you". ABOUT WHAT!? They are completely ignoring me and aren't helping me out. I even tried taking it to my nearest Chevy dealer and warranty cant even cover that! (I purchased extended warranty). I inquired about a special affiliate discount on a gladiator I was looking to buy and communicated via exchange of texts with Moe. He confirmed that they accepted the discount with the exception of certain vehicles like a Hellcat (understandable). Prior to arrival I did forget the salesman's name (Moe) and that was probably the biggest mistake off the bat. I was swarmed by a picket line of employees asking if I need help and who I was looking for (walking dead status). Anyway, it took a few minutes to sort that out and he introduced another employee (Jazmin) to take a custom vehicle order. That's when they completely pretended to forget what the affiliate discount was. It was utterly ridiculous but somewhat entertaining. They pretended not to know what a ball park invoice price. I made an appointment to get my car fixed because the AC wasn't working. They kept it for two days. They charged me $245 to diagnose it. They didn't even give me a report when I asked for one. It seemed like they were over charging. And to top it all off as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a look that said "why are you even here". Very rude. Then when I went to pick up my car, the advisor that took my car in when I took it. Was too busy on YouTube instead of helping anyone waiting, including myself. I did want to express how disappointed I am in both the customer service here and upon entering the lot. Additionally, the safety is incredibly lacking. Both from a mask standpoint - several wearing masks improperly - and from customer aggression. The parking lot for customers is incredibly packed and when my door tapped that of another, the passenger got out and threatened me. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My husband and I purchased a car from Russell Westbrook on 10/26/2019 after spending 4+ hours getting the runaround on the price of the car we wanted. You should take your business elsewhere because the moment you buy a car here cash, they treat you like garbage. On 10/26, we were approached by 3-4 different people, all with a different "lowest value" they claimed they could give us. Mind you, when you email them the slightest interest before stepping foot inside the dealership, their communication is constant always on top of it. Finally, when the last sales person approached us, he said "let me see what I can do" and then made us wait for the Finance Manager (Christian who no longer works there, apparently). We were pressured to finance the vehicle and said "no thanks" every time. Christian STILL pressured us to finance, and we said no again! At the end of the 6th hour, we finally signed all the papers, wrote the check in full for the vehicle and was rest assured that all the proper channels to register the car was in place. 10/29, my husband receives an unnerving voicemail from Christian claiming we still owed $2900!!!! We called back right away because this was a mistake as we signed all the paperwork and wrote the check in full! No one answered, we called the dealership and no one could help us clear this mistake. No one. We were even about to return the vehicle because no one should want to do business with a crook place like this. Finally, on 11/5, we saw that the check we wrote was deposited in FULL. So we would hope that all the proper channels were in place and that I would get my title in the mail at least within 45 days per the usual channels with the DMV. Nothing. It's been over a month since our money was taken and now the registration on the car seems to have lapsed and I don't even know if I am safe to drive this car without proper registration. I've called RW 21 times today alone, was transferred to 4 different voicemails and left a message for each and every one of them. I was told Monique is the only person who could help me because she's the only one whose computer is linked to the dmv. So I've left her a total of 6 messages which includes leaving my name and number with someone named Jesse, Izzy, and Carmen from the service center. This place is honestly the worst from start to finish and unless you plan to finance with them, they will give you very incompetent customer service, make you call and call and call with no one able to help you. They are unbelievable! Can you all believe they still HAVE NOT fixed our vehicle?!!!! Look at the dates! I am collecting evidence to our claims. Please read my review before you take or buy a car from this dealership. We don't know these people personally, so there is gain for us. In fact the car door has gotten worse! We have to manually close and electric door! Our warranty paid them $2500.00 plus $245.00 for their LOANER car and they still haven't fixed it. Plus our car hasn't driven right every since we left it in their care!!!! We are not stopping here!we will not be taken advantage of!
