Stay away from Junior and Benny. They straight up lie to you and never update you on the status of your vehicle repair. I took my car in a few months ago for a engine recall. When they put in the new engine they cracked the battery and battery acid got all over battery terminal. It's their fault but whatever I said I would pay for new battery and battery terminal. Junior told me it would cost $1200 to replace the battery and terminal! Crazy overpriced but whatever I just needed my car fixed. The expected date my car was to be fixed was Oct. 10th or 11th. Now they are telling me that they won't receive the tiny terminal part till the 19th but it would still probably be later than that. Like I can literally by the battery terminal from AutoZone in 10min. Also, when I had the recall done Benny told me my car was done and it wasn't. I had to walk all the way to the dealership to find out my car wasn't ready. Thanks. Remember the bad old days when you went to buy a car and after agreeing on a price the dealer started packing things on like "undercoating" and "interior protection"? Well, if you want to revisit those days, get yourself on down to Westbrook Chrysler Dodge Jeep and get a taste of what it was like when dealers were liars and customers were suckers. My wife and I dropped by here to see a Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude they had for sale. Very nice vehicle, though it looked like it had been on the lot for a while, and their advertised price was almost reasonable as well, though higher than their competitors'. We spoke with a polite sales person who told us that they wouldn't move a cent off the advertised price. The price was the price, he said, "but of course it doesn't include taxes, fees, AND THE COMPULSORY ANTI-THEFT EQUIPMENT". How much was the COMPULSORY ANTI-THEFT EQUIPMENT? About $1500, we were informed. At that point it was close to closing time so we told the sales guy to let us know in the morning if it was possible to not take the anti-theft thing. Turned out he wasn't kidding, it was compulsory. Needless to say we bought a similar vehicle at a different dealership the very next day, without any shenanigans. This dealership is located in a low-income area of Los Angeles and many of their customers speak poor English. In my opinion, the dealership employs sleazy, underhanded tactics such as compulsory add-ones because they can usually get away with it. Unfortunately after multiple attempts to resolve an issue, I was unable to get ahold of anyone in the service department. Before taking my car there, I called to verify some information and whoever answered wasn't polite. Anyways, I needed a oil change service. I took my 2019 Jeep Wrangler in for service on March 30, 2021. I wasn't treated nicely, and they made me feel extremely uncomfortable. They told me to call my own Uber even tho they told me they would shuttle me. It was very awkward and I waited nearly 45 minutes standing outside. They then called me and told me that they couldn't fully service a warranty repair and to come pick up the vehicle. I went back to pick up the vehicle and I was told they needed to wait for a part. They would have to call me back when it arrived. I've called multiple times (over 10 times to be exact), during business hours, talked with an operator and always transferred with no answers. I have left messages and nothing. It is June 13th, 2021 and my car still hasn't been repaired and I will no longer attempt to reach them. Also, ever since I took my vehicle to this location, it has a rattling noise and I cannot figure it out for the life of me. I have received over 3 messages to fill out a survey and I respond to those texts with no responses. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Worst experience of my life. I had previously purchased a Jeep from them in 2015. I went back in on a Saturday and there was a frat house going on inside. One salesperson said he would help me, walked away and never came back. I went to the front desk and the woman said how she could help me. I said "I want to buy a car" and then said "How can I help you?" again. I said "I'd like to speak with a salesperson" and she just wasn't helpful, so I walked out. I figured I'd give them another shot and went back the following Wednesday. I told the salesperson named Patrick who approached me the moment I drove up - I'm looking for this specific vehicle and I previously purchased a car here in 2015 and I'd like to stay with your dealership. He was going to send me a quote - we exchanged texts and he never got back to me with anything, after promising he was going to. Nothing. I then tried for a third time, so I called the dealership, was transferred around to three different people and ended up talking to someone named Jose who said he was "the loyalty manager." I told him what I wanted and he quoted me an outrageous price, far above any quote I received from a previous dealership. He then said he would get back to me with a revised quote. He never did. Just ghosted me. Then, two days later, someone named "Lily" texted me to see if she could help with my car purchase. WHAT? Fortunately, I had the complete opposite experience at Downtown LA Jeep Chrysler. They were utterly professional, easy to work with, quoted me fair prices, were competitive and I bought the car from them within an hour being at their dealership. I have been waiting for a call back from the service department since Saturday. I leased my car from this dealership a couple months ago and have been having issues filling up my gas tank. I brought my car in twice since, once for the service department to determine it was a manufacturer default. And the second time for the "repairs." They had my car for two days, promised everything was tested and gave the car back. I quickly realized nothing had been fixed. I have left several messages with my service adviser, Isabelle, as well as the service director, Roy and I have received 0 call backs. Interestingly enough the only contact I have received is a text from Isabelle asking me to complete an email survey from Chrysler. And now a little about that - When I put my VIN into this dealerships website two accounts come up. One with my correct email address and one with a completely made up email address. When I told Isabelle that the email address she has listed for me is incorrect, instead of updating it in the system, she just wrote my email address on a piece of paper. This is why I'm not receiving the Chrysler surveys. I used to handle the advertising and marketing for dealerships across the country and the manufacturer surveys can make or break a dealership. This is why this dealership is inputting incorrect emails into their system. Shady. I have submitted a complaint to Chrysler and have been put in touch with a Chrysler representative. The unresponsiveness and lack of ownership from this dealership is unacceptable. The influx of one star reviews shows that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Personally, I love to get oil changes at a dealership. It's documented with Mopar and includes everything that was done. But dear God man... service department online says open till 7pm. Express lane available. As always first come first served, which is pretty standard. I even called ahead to make sure. I get there at around 4:45 or so, only to be told that the Express lane closes at 4. It's printed no where that these are the hours of the Express lane. They just told me that they stop taking oil changes at 4:00pm. That's absurd! I have to literally tell the rep (Franklin) that I wanted to speak with a manager to understand why this is being said. He didn't want me to speak with a manager so he was seeing what could be done. Never had an issue like this at other dealerships. The rep said he'd talk with the tech to try and get him to stay later to get my jeep in, which he did and I'm extremely grateful at least for that. Half of the issue stemmed from the fact that they had another tech call out today and were lacking manpower. I understand things like this happen, but why should the customer suffer for lack of staff? After all of this, I THEN had an issue when trying to use the Mopar coupon... my fault, the first coupon i had was for 3 synthetic blend oil changes for $99.95... said I couldn't use it because I was getting full synthetic. Disgruntled I say fine and while in the waiting area right next to the coupon I was trying to use before was one for 3 Full Synthetic Oil Changes for $154.95... I was happy as could be when I found that coupon... only to be told when I went to pay that they couldn't use the coupon since they already printed the invoice... they wanted to charge me $180 for just one full synthetic oil change and tire rotation... I have never had an issue using a coupon at time of payment at any dealership I've been to in the past and I've had my Wrangler for 6 years. To go through this much hassle the very first time visiting a dealership is insane. I am new to the area and after this incident, I would rather take my money to another dealership further away in hopes of receiving better service. I get you want to make money...but dealing with issue after issue is unacceptable and leaves the customer not wanting to go back. In the end, I was able to use the Mopar Coupon and have my oil change counted towards it. I own a 2019 Jeep Cherokee that I originally leased for 3 years and then purchased at the end of my lease. This is the 4th Jeep I have owned. At the time my lease ended I had 16,880 miles on the vehicle and Chrysler Financial gave me a good price to buy the vehicle from them. My intention was to buy it and then sell it at the higher book value soon after. I could not sell the Jeep until I received the original title and then made the title change through DMV. 2 weeks ago, while I have been waiting for the tittle change, my car would not start and needed to be jump started. I brought it to Russell Westbrook and after doing a diagnostic they determined that it was a faulty battery. I was told that my basic warranty had expired and that I would have to pay full price for the replacement and the service. I complained that car only had 17,000 miles on it and that I didn't understand how the battery could go bad so quickly and how it was without a warranty. They eventually lowered the price by claiming it was a customer courtesy. 2 days after I got the car back, and after driving less than 100 miles, my check engine light came on. I brought it back to Russell Westbrook and this time they claimed that it was something else that was not under warranty that must have gone bad in the few days that I had the car between visits to the dealership. I was given a choice to either pay $560 for the car to be fixed or $220 for the service appointment. I asked the service person I was dealing with, Benny, why their mechanics hadn't seen this problem when they had the car a few days earlier and he basically said that it must have become a problem after I took the car back. I made a complaint to Jeep Customer Care and they said that either way $220 was very high just to inspect the vehicle. They are currently investigating the issue and say they will fully refund me whatever Russell Westbrook charges me. Interestingly, while I was on the phone with Customer Care, I received an automated email from Russell Westbrook telling me that after carefully examining my vehicle, the car had no issues that needed to be addressed. I am not an overly suspicious person but I find it highly suspect that a car with 17,100 miles could have 2 separate problems within 2 days of each other, neither of which were covered. As I said before, I have purchased 4 Jeeps over the years. I was planning on buying a new one this year. After this experience, I have completely changed my mind. I only hope that Jeep customer care honors what they said and reimburses me for this situation. Car companies need to treat their good customers better. I write this with concern and disappointment. to give you an understanding of my experience during my purchase R.W. Auto Dealership. Back in May, I made the decision to order a 2022 Jeep Gladiator with Russell Westbrook Auto Dealership (located at 6110 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401). When it arrived, I made arrangements with the dealership that I would be picking up the vehicle on Friday, August 12, 2022. Upon my arrival, I was first approached by Jake (one of the sales managers) and proceeded to discuss a trade-in option regarding my wife's vehicle--a 2015 Nissan Versa. After some delegation regarding the trade-in option, Jake's tone of voice became irritated and defensive (almost as if I was wasting his time). Jake insisted that he did want to entertain the idea of a trade-in option and at one point proceeded to state, "take your car out of here. We don't want it." The comment not only alarmed me but rather my wife, who was in his presence. As a result, my wife became triggered by Jake's response regarding her car (the Nissan) because that was her very first vehicle. My wife had just graduated college and was 23 years old when she bought that car-she had spent years saving up for it. So as you can imagine, it held sentimental value to her. Now, we understand that perhaps the Nissan wasn't the most "appealing" or "preferred" vehicle for a trade-in option, but that does not excuse Jake's disrespectful tone and comment in regard to our proposition. I didn't entertain this issue for too long, as I was still interested in purchasing my Jeep, thus, we proceeded to move along in our conversation. I continued asking Jake questions regarding the cost and fees associated with my order, and he continued to speak to me in an irritated tone of voice-again, his demeanor made me feel as if I was wasting his time. At which point, Jake eventually replied to one of my questions by saying that if I was not going to purchase the truck he would "with [ease] sell my truck for $10,000 over the price." Jake added that he "always sells vehicles $10,000 or more over asking price," so "[selling mine wouldn't be an issue.]" Once again, I found myself in awe of what was coming out of his mouth. I couldn't understand how his comment would encourage me to close the deal right then and there. Even more so, why would he make a comment to his customer that waited 3 months, and drove miles from my home to this particular dealership, to purchase a car? At that very moment, I couldn't help but feel disrespected and was questioning the ethics behind Jake wanting to make money off my pre-ordered vehicle (which mind you, I had every intention of purchasing). At this point, it was clear that Jake was not representing R.W. dealership in the manner in which I was initially received, so I asked to speak to the General Manager. I was then approached by Jason (another associate) and proceeded to express my concerns to him. Unfortunately, Jason was also not welcoming and was also making me feel as if I was an inconvenience. We discussed the value of the trade-in vehicle and purchasing options, but despite any of the countering options, Jason stood firm with his value of the vehicle (which he at that point hadn't physically seen and made clear that he DID NOT care to see) with no explanation for his value. During our negotiation, Jason didn't allow me to review the pricing and numeration values with my wife, he declined to provide me with copies of the cost breakdown, and even stated that those were "his property." When I asked Jason about the cost breakdown of the purchase options, I was answered with a defensive tone of voice, yet again, from a second salesman. Further, I requested a lease-tier-cost breakdown, but I was never presented with one and at this point, I wasn't comfortable with Jason. After my bad experience with Jake, I was feeling discouraged about my choice to purchase my car with this R.W. dealership. Our experience was not the best one and I would never wish that experience on anyone. Especially as some of us are rebuilding after a pandemic and are fortunate enough to make room to invest in such a purchase. I began this purchasing journey in May with excitement to receive my dream truck but was met with poor business ethics. I feel my concerns are valid and I would appreciate them being addressed. submitted a formal request on Monday, August 15th for a full review of my purchase order and lease agreement. It was evident that Jake and Jason have their own agenda of selling vehicles to hard-working people using poor ethics and poor customer service in an attempt to maximize their profits. I've made several attempts to secure a meeting with Raed (General Manager). I've placed several calls to him and have emailed Raed to no avail. I don't say this lightly, but this is by far the worst dealership I have dealt with in my entire life. The sales representative and manager I dealt with lacked basic knowledge of their own products (several late model Jeeps and a Durango) and instead of simply saying "I'm not sure, let me find out for you," they proceeded to use as many high-pressure sales tactics as possible until I left. Though this dealership is only minutes from where I live, I drove over 100 miles away to Carl Burger CJDR to purchase a vehicle the very next day because the sales representative there was honest, genuine, and helpful. When my Dodge Durango (still under warranty) needed service and a diagnosis for multiple electronic faults, I thought I'd give Russell Westbrook CJDR another chance. After leaving my car there for a week for a diagnosis, the service advisor neglected to contact me even once. I went back to the dealership only to receive news that they "couldn't figure out the problem". They only thing they could tell me was that there was an outstanding recall. Against my better judgement, I scheduled a time and date to bring my Durango back when they assured me that the recall could be fixed and the diagnosis could be performed. When I dropped the car off again, the lack of communication continued. After multiple attempts to reach ANYONE in the service department, I was repeatedly forwarded to service advisor Robert's voicemail. After leaving several voicemails which were never returned, other service advisors told me that "it was his file" and that he was sick or on vacation as if that was a reasonable excuse for why I hadn't been contacted. After speaking with the manager (Roy?), suddenly Robert was much more communicative. He informed me that the only way they could properly diagnose the problems I was experiencing was for a service tech or advisor to drive my vehicle as their own personal vehicle for a day or two so that they could identify the problem in real world conditions. Several days later, Robert informed me of several repairs that needed to be performed. He told me that they needed to order several parts and then the repairs would be completed under warranty. After another week of back-and-forth with Robert, I was told that the parts from the main warehouse had been delayed. Days later, they supposedly received the parts only to discover that they weren't the correct parts. Excuse after excuse lead to my vehicle being there for over a month. When I finally got the call that my car was ready to pick up and that everything had been taken care of, I was in disbelief. Could it really be true? Robert explained via phone call all the work that had been done and how he personally drove my Durango home and back to work several days to ensure that everything was in order. He even promised me that it would be "detailed" so that when I came to pick it up, it would be nice and clean. I arrived at the dealership that afternoon not surprised that Robert was nowhere to be found. After searching for the paperwork for some time, one of the other advisors had me sign the necessary documents and pay the fees while they pulled my car around. I looked around the car to inspect the "detail" wash that Robert had promised. Instead, I found a layer of dust covering the whole exterior of the car, water stains, and black grease marks on the interior headliner and windshield pillars. To my amazement, the front bumper and grille looked out of alignment as if it had been removed and not replaced properly. I immediately went back into the service office and asked the helpful advisor I had been dealing with to inspect the car and tell me if he thought it was acceptable. He seemed to be in shock and offered to have his manager call me the next day. In utter disbelief and frustration, I just decided to leave and never return. I started my Durango up to find that the fuel gauge was below empty. When I dropped the car off, it still had AT LEAST a quarter tank of gas. I reviewed the invoice to find that they HAD ACTUALLY CHARGED ME FOR FUEL. Less than a half mile from the dealership, my engine stalled in the middle of the road, just feet from the nearest gas station. Unsurprisingly, I never received a call to follow up or apologize for what had taken place. In fact, one of the issues I brought it in for to begin with hadn't been addressed at all. The very next day, I received the same error message saying that the Rear Cross-Traffic Sensors were "unavailable". A fitting term seeing as that the service advisor who supposedly addressed these issues personally was almost always unavailable when I needed to reach him. Months after this ordeal, I have taken the time to write this comprehensive review of my experience as I feel the responsibility to warn all current or future CJDR owners to AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. read more

Worst customer experience ever. I was looking into buying a Dodge Durango at this location but ended up buying at Cerritos Dodge. The sales manager Rodrigo was such an arrogant person that was bothered when I would ask him questions. When I asked him about the partnership they have with NavyFederal Credit Union Rodrigo had no clue what I was talking about. They do not honor there online adds. The salesperson Rene would tell me one thing and Rodrigo would say something different. Also, it was such a hot day and they didn't offer any water. Before going to the dealer I was in contact with an internet salesperson from Cerritos and told him what I was looking for what I wanted to pay monthly and that I was already approved by Navy Fed CU. I figured I could get the same deal at the Russel Westboork Dodge big mistake ever. When I showed Rodrigo the email conversion I had with Cerritos and they had what I was looking for and could do what I wanted to pay he seemed bothered and instead of trying to work out a deal. He told me there was nothing he could and didn't believe I would get the deal. So he let us leave. So I went to Cerritos Dodge not only did I get the deal I wanted extra perks were added to it and the customer experience wash much better. Lesson learned never go to Russel Westbrook to buy a new car. read more

After being frustrated with my Start\Stop system not working I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to Westbrook only to be told there was nothing wrong with it. I persisted and Hector (Service Advisor) along with Jad (Technician) we're able to identify the problem and get the battery replaced for the Start/Stop system while I waited. I'm grateful that Hector and Jad took the time to listen to my concern instead of simply dismissing it and accepting that nothing was wrong. Came in Sunday to do an ownership change on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. I decided to keep it after the lease ended because I love it. Thanks to Julie Wang the process was seamless and pain-free. Julie is hilarious, such a great personality. I enjoyed working with the entire team and I will definitely be back for service there on my Jeep. Everyone is extremely personable, I didn't feel pressured or annoyed at anytime. My husband and I went to turn in our white Jeep Grand Cherokee to get a newer one. This time we got a new Black Jeep Grand Cherokee and we couldn't be happier. We always get our Jeeps here and this was our 4th time coming to get a new Jeep. We love this dealership! You'll find a friendly professional staff here. Manager Jose Jaime worked with us and he was exceptional. A courteous young man had a great personality and a lot of experience with all types of cars and SUV's. He was extremely knowlegable about the different vehicles on the lot and was very patient with us. He did our paper work and he was very helpful with our questions and overall did a brilliant job. Lastly we went in the office to sign the contract with Sales Associate Ryan Hassoun. A super nice man. Enjoyed talking to him about his kids. Everything went very smooth. They have the new paperless state of the art technology. Basically you signed on screen a few times, he explained some things and we were done. Wow it was a breeze. I had to bring my 3 month old, leased truck in after the check engine light came on. They quoted a full week to be able to see my car after I dropped it off for an appointment and it was ready exactly a week after. That being said, they do not have courtesy vehicles and the service person told me to go rent a car and that ram would pay me back. I went to rent a car, got a cheap car, and when I went to apply for reimbursement from RAM they told me they would only reimburse me up to $40/day. The service guy never told me about a maximum when I asked him about it, so now I am out $105 dollars because the cheapest rental was $55/day. read more

Had a service for my vehicle and brought it in. The service included a tire rotation the next day I look at my vehicle and notice they didn't rotate my tires. Please make sure you check the services your paying before you leave, but I was hesitant to take the vehicle back to get the tires rotated because you never know what type of service you would get if you complain about something that was suppose to be done after it was paid. So I decided to take it to my local mechanic and had him rotate my tires. Don't want to be labeled a problem client. read more
