The fiascos from this dealership are never ending, and I advise everybody to steer clear. First and foremost, this dealership took my money and illegally sold me the car. Only after two months, when I contacted them asking when I should expect to receive my registration, did they contact me telling me the car was never smogged. This is 100% illegal in the state of California, and means they didn't do the basics for prepping this car for resale. Even when we bought it, the pushy salesman manager told us "We just got this car in you're going to love", meaning they most likely got the car and flipped it before they could inspect it properly. Secondly, the car was sold to me without basic maintenance done and I was misinformed that it was fully touched up. We were even told after purchasing it that they were detailing the car, and driving home the windshield and inside screens in the car were smudged and smeared from a hasty, sloppy wipe down. Less than 3 weeks after receiving my registration and title, when I legally now owned the car, the car died 4 hours away from home on a big trip. I had the car in my possession for less than 3 months and put just over 1,000 miles on it in that time. It turns out, the car never had oil added to it, the oil light didn't work on the dashboard, and now it needs a new engine. I was dealing with a lower level manager for the past few weeks, and I was told someone from upper management would handle my situation. The dealership it was towed to did an inspection and it was found the lack of oil caused the engine failure, and there were no signs of leaks or excessive burning of oil found. I've been ignored and had zero contact since I was told this. Had the dashboard lights been working, I would have quickly caught the lack of oil and topped it off. Had the dealership topped off the fluids as they lied to me about having done, I wouldn't have had this issue. There are no leaks in my garage, there were no leaks found in the inspection, just a seized engine. The salesmen lied through their teeth about the maintenance done, selling a shoddy car illegally and praying I wouldn't notice the car didn't belong to me for a majority of the time I've had it. It's very clear this dealership isn't doing the basic upkeep or maintenance on their cars before selling them. Not smogging the car and waiting 2 months for me to contact them is a serious red flag. They were happy pocketing my money and not contacting me when the DMV refused the title change. They clearly have no concern for the customer, and I say again: Shop elsewhere or deal with the 6-week long headache I've had with them (so far). EDIT: I'm putting this in solely in a response to the comment left by Brianna. I have contacted Arnold Gonsalves directly, he's hiding from me. He responded briefly to an e-mail I said saying he would reach out to me, and so far nothing has been done. It's been 5 weeks without my car and I literally have no idea what's going on. I was told to not begin the repair process, but nobody seems to want to start it. It's now July, the weather is hot, and the company that illegally sold me a car now seems content in having me ride a bike to work in the summer heat because they already got my money. I'm steps away from seeking legal action at this point because this company is an absolute scam and should not be operating. I have already been informed I have strong legal ground, but I'm trying to handle this reasonably. So again, heed my advice: Buy elsewhere or lawyer up. read more

We test drove the car, went to their storage lot twice to check inventory, sat in multiple vehicles, and even had the exact car we wanted brought to the dealership. We had already started the credit check process, so it was very clear we were serious buyers. Despite all that, the experience kept getting worse. The overall environment didn't feel professional or customer-focused at all, and my wife was uncomfortable the entire time. Then, right when we were about to finalize the lease, everything went sideways. I made a simple request to move forward with confidence, and the manager abruptly said they had another appointment and didn't have time. They even said they needed to go have breakfast--at 11 AM--while we were still in the middle of closing the deal. What's even more concerning is that all of this behavior came from the manager, which really makes you question how this place is run. When I said I wasn't comfortable continuing like that, I was told, very bluntly: "Move on." At that point, I walked away and did not buy the car. Angelina Moreno unqualified to be manager .I find it more than ridiculous that a huge service Center hiring an unqualified manager with no judgement with no skills to be the manage of such a big facility, I wouldn't let that person to manage a crew of two people. I had a bad experience with the service manager Angelica Moreno. I purchased Kia EV9 less then a year ago and the charging cable stopped working, I called and I've been told to bring the charger they're gonna inspect and repair or replace if needed, what I didn't know that I was supposed to leave my car for four or five days in order to inspect the charging cable which not connected to the car, everything is perfect with my car. The problem is in the cable which under warranty . Without offering a replacement car, , the day is Friday, July 3 day before fourth of July, they wanted to leave me without a car no replacement car in order to fix the cable when there is nothing wrong with the car. I find it more than ridiculous, and I found a manager that probably can sit maybe at the reception is she definitely don't have a judgement in order to understand or to inspect the cable for two minutes and just take care of the cable instead of leaving the car for five days. Bottom of Line not recommended. I really recommend them to get rid of the joke manager. Do not use this service Center . read more

We were very clear about just looking. Not sure why we were treated this way. We then went up Van Nuys Boulevard and checked out two other dealerships, Chevy and Hyundai. They were very understandable that we were not in the market today at these two places. Kia seems like a good car but that woman really was rude and no car is worth being treated like that. Just really unprofessional I mean, good grief, she works in a service industry. My advice would be to not go to Van Nuys Kia if you do not want to be bullied for not wanting to buy that day. Just a really bad experience. Glad to have found actual nice people at Chevy and Hyundai. I still want a Kia but will definitely not go back to Van Nuys Kia. I had a very disappointing experience at Van Nuys Kia. The salesperson, George, and the manager, Hossein, were extremely unprofessional and wasted over two and a half hours of my time. I originally came in for a scheduled recall service appointment. I was told that I wouldn't need to wait for the service because they could get me into another vehicle. I test-drove a 2023 Lexus and was genuinely interested in purchasing it. They ran both my credit and my daughter's credit and kept us waiting for more than an hour and a half. After all that time, they sent us home claiming the bank decision was still pending and promised they would call us back. They never called, never followed up, and never provided any updates. Based on how the situation was handled, I believe they were not honest with us and may have had another buyer for the vehicle. If that was the case, they should have been upfront instead of wasting our time. Because of this process, I also missed the service appointment I had originally scheduled. The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy was unacceptable. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this dealership think twice. They will mean mug you telling you they were the ones who sold the car and you should buy the more expensive model. She will never come out to apologize. Her crew of miscreants who sag their pants like they are in juvenile hall will C walk away from you making noises like "PSHHHT Pshhht, whatever homie." I came in a customer and now I am a "homie?" There weren't even chairs in the waiting room. Me vs. five of the homies as I walked out and went up the street to the Subaru dealer and their sales team sold me a brand new car for a fair price and they were really nice to me. F.U. Kia I will tell everybody I know about this and I hope to detour at least one person a year from buying a car from you. read more

They dirty the trunck carpet, but they mentioned on their receipt complementary car wash !!! Never can duplicate the issue. I have safety issue on my car they can not even bother to see my video that I took during the incident. They ask you to leave a car for 10 days and expect you to walk around the town with no car. They recommend to get the rental car and Kia will pay for it, which it is not absolutely true. I paid about 500 dollars for rental car to leave my car in their shop to not be able find the issue and return it with dust. I never recommend this dealership to any one.
