WARNING!!! Got a HORRIBLE bacterial/fungal infection in toenails AND serious ingrown (this is my first ingrown). The technician also aggressively dug and trimmed around cuticles. Im now on both oral and topical antibiotics and had to get a podiatrist to remove ingrown and correct nail damage... Clearly tools and equipment were not sanitized and technician was not trained on nail care. So unacceptable and terrifying. Not worth it read more

Everyone was nice here but the pedicure was just okay. They don't have high quality polish and the massage was nonexistent! They literally rubbed my feet for maybe 1 minute max. They are really strong though I will give them that because they are really hard to get off. I'm had to order an actual e-file because I can't just rip them off like acrylics. Love this place! They never let me down. I called ahead tonight and Demi was so awesome! She even waited for me and kept the shop open just for me. She does an outstanding job and has great attention to detail. Very friendly too. I've been to so many nail salons here in San Diego and this has been my best experience thus far. I was in dire need to get my nails and toes done! Being new to downtown, I was extremely weary of trying a new place. The reviews were half and half but not uncommon with a new establishment, especially the nail business. I love my nail tech in North county, but was extremely short on time and desperate! Anyhow, to make a long story short, I lucked out- this place is great. Not only is it walking distance, Demi who did my nails (fill and gel on top) and Sue who did my ultimate pedicure were great all around. They were friendly and provided professional services that met my expectations. I was fortunate that they were working simultaneously, since time was of the essence. They would ask me throughout the process if it was the right length, shape, etc.. so, there were no surprises ( I like that!) This place is my go to for nails! I love how detailed phoebe is especially when I get the French tip! She always takes the time to make sure I pick the color i envisioned and does a great job cleaning and painting my nails. I didn't used to get gel often cuz the removal process tend to damage my nail bed, BUT NOT HERE! They do a great job to remove polish and protect my nail bed. What you see here is my real nail with gel :) Phoebe is great, definitely could get busy in weekends, reservation is recommended. Totally the best nail person I have found! read more

Would never come back. Asian lady laughed and talked a lot with another worker. One did a great job and this lady finished with me and was upset that I tipped her 5. Charged me 50$ just so I can get a 5 min scrub and not even a real callus remover process. TRASH SERVICE. Why you talking so much there was only two people in the shop and than not even scrub my feet correctly. LADY SHOULDVE GOT 1$ as a tip. I'd come back and tip you for 1. You'll never know. I had my nails (dip polish) done here on 7/2/22- first time visiting and I am happy with my nails. The salon was very nice and clean. The only squabble was the price - It was $25 more for a dip polish here than at my regular place- in AZ, where I live. Ended up being $75 with tip- and it did not even include the usual quick manicure (trimming cuticles etc) that is essentially part of any nail service- But if you are on vacation and need a nail service, the location was nice and the employees were professional. read more

I stopped here with some time to kill while visiting SD. I called ahead of time to make sure they were open and was able to get in right away. All the staff here were very friendly and welcoming. They offered a glass of wine with my services, I opted for a little splurge of a pedi with the hot stone, and wax dip. Everything was amazing! I showed a nail design from Pinterest and they were happy to accommodate. The artist took her time and confirmed exactly what I wanted by asking questions and showing me color options. Never ever again! I was a walk in and waited about 30 mins on a Sunday afternoon. Typical with no appointment. I said I wanted a GEL MANICURE & PEDICURE. Selected the luxury pedicure, probably was the quickest pedicure I have ever received, felt like a regular pedicure, and not sure why the very minimal scrubbing she did do was AFTER my polish was done. She painted my nails the wrong color, pointed to the number 67 & she painted 57. No apology, no accountability. Once I got passed to Lynn for my gel manicure, i told her that the wrong color was painted, and she didn't seem to care. But Lynn probably would have won the worlds fasted & worst nail work I have ever experienced! First of all, Lynn was on the phone the whole time & didn't even take the time to clean up her polish work in my nails. When she told me she was done and I looked down at my nails, so dry & dusty, paint not cleaned up. I asked her, "why didn't you clean up my nails for my manicure?" She responded saying I never told her I wanted a manicure & I should have told her before she started. I then said, "well, could you at least put some oil so they aren't so dry & dirty" and she said "you have dry nails". WOWWW!!! I was so upset. MAYBE if she was focused & not on the phone she could have asked me if I wanted a manicure or just a polish change & not insulted my nails after she just did them!!!! Oh & she CUT me on my skin, no sorry of course. See pictures below. I have never gone to a nail place in my life with such rude & rushed service, i was literally the only one in this shop on a Sunday afternoon. NOW i know why. I really wanted to like this place, but after my last experience I can't. I had been once before for a gel manicure and I liked it so I went back. It's only 3 blocks from my home so I was hoping it could be my new go to. This time I was very disappointed. I went in to have my gel removed and just have a basic mani pedi without any polish. My nails were feeling brittle so I wanted to take a few weeks off without any gel to help build them up healthy again. The lady (Sue?) told me it would be $7 to remove the gel for both so $14. I was a bit annoyed, but it is a service so I agreed. Then she upsold me to the next level pedicure which was a joke because nothing was really added and she didn't remove any callouses. Then when I told her no polish because I need a break, she said she would buff and polish instead so they are shiny. I said ok not knowing how bad that is for your nails. The total for all of this came out to $83!! That's without any gel or polish. It's been 3 weeks and my nails are SO brittle and breaking because of all of the buffing she did. I forgot to add no employees are wearing masks and the place is not as clean as other places I've been to downtown. I am super bummed, but I won't be coming back here anymore. read more

Such a nice and clean nail Spa. And they have wine. Its new , very clear and the staff is very friendly. Phoebe did my manicure ( dip) , waxing and facial. While Lisa did an amazing gel pedicure. So relaxing and nice. They take their time and makes you feel really relaxed. The massages chairs are very good too. They also have 20% off ( not sure for how long though). Love love love this place. They make every effort to always get you in, even last minute, the ladies are very nice, and the serve complementary beverages. I have been going to Demi and she's very sweet and talented. I've been here before and had a great experience. My manicure today was good but not great. Gel mani is chipping a bit already. I'm not big on negative reviews because I don't think they help the business, so just some observations from a customer: a nail technician shouldn't really text WHILE doing someone's nails and I especially don't think they should stop doing a customers nails TO text (have the customer waiting for them??) Another thing is that you should be careful with how long your nails are, as they can dig into a customers hand when you're doing nails. Just a few observations to help the business owner.
