This is my favorite place to eat when in Eastlake. Wide variety of food and beverages also have smoothies and coffee. The staff is amazing the cooks are great! The guy at register helped me figure out what exactly I what I wanted to eat very patient with me.

Place is tucked away in the plaza. Not very aesthetic, but entrees look delicious. Great place to get a grab and go meal, but I ended up dining in. It didn't take long to get what I ordered and the cook is very happy to be there. He makes it know and his happiness is very contagious and I like it. I would definitely revisit this place again.

This spot needs more attention than it's getting because it is insanely good. I found Vega Caffe on Google and almost didn't go because I thought it was a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Don't let the name fool yall, there is something for everyone here! The cubana torta was absolutely life changing. I honestly didn't know what to expect but what I got, incredible. I can't wait to go back and try more

    Mexican Mocha- small $4.35

Wasn't too impressed with this place. It was okay, the Mexican mocha was average, and overpriced for the small cup I received. I was tired and needed my morning caffeine. I hadn't been here, so I decided to give them a try. After looking at the menu, I saw that they had lattes for $4.35 and blended coffee drinks for $6.50. I ordered the latte and was asked if I wanted it hot or cold. I said cold and was then told it was $7 and some change. I looked back at the menu and looked at the prices again. I was confused with the price I was given, seeing that I did not want it blended. Asked about the price and was told I'm paying for the ice and all cold drinks are the same. It didn't specify on the menu, however I opted for a hot Mexican mocha. I received my tiny cup and was a little disappointed. It was hot however tasted more like watered down chocolate milk than a latte. Oh well, live and learn. I was expecting a cafe to specialize in coffee items, but I was wrong here.

We stopped by this new restaurant after an event at Petco Park, and they had their Grand Opening recently. They offer a variety of menu items: Mexican, including birria tacos and the quesabirria (cheese with beef). My husband had the roast beef sandwich - the owner and chef said - "Adding the cucumber adds an element of crunch to it." He likes it - bread was good and it was satisfying. Had two birria street tacos-they were accompanied by cilantro and onions, so delicious! Loved the texture and flavor. Also had the $10 small fruit salad. Bigger than small-had a cottage cheese and coconut topping over cantaloupe, papaya, strawberries, and banana. They also offered açaí bowls - so think açaí bowl without açaí. It was a good complement to the tacos. My mom-in-law had fish tacos and sister-in-law had the flair as and a cup of tortilla soup. Yum! Overall, pretty pleased. For drinks, besides Coca-Cola products they have smoothies. If you are short/petite, the booths are tallish, we were like little kids with our feet off the floor.

I love that this place is a hidden gem. I will always go out of my way to come here. I've brought many friends and family here over the years and they always want to come back! Pros: Large parking lot Service is impeccable Fast, friendly Portions are healthy and... Everything is delicious, trust me- omelets, breakfast bagels, coffees, agua fresas breakfast burritos, acai bowl, etc etc you name it it's good! Cons: none!

Returned for a torta a second time because it was that good ... the 5 stars apply to carne asada…read moretorta being delicious- only but this second visit deserves a 3 star . The first time I ordered this same sandwich I asked for Jalapeño's instead of salsa and they gave the torta and side of jalapeño's at no extra charge . Today I was informed that if I wanted jalapeños instead of salsa " on the side" I needed to pay extra?... news to me because this did not happened the last I ordered a torta with Jalapeños instead of salsa. when I received the torta I asked for the jalapenos and they told me jalapeño's are extra if I they give them to me on the side therefore they put them in the torta. I wasn't asking for extra spiciness- I was asking to be given jalapeño's instead of the salsa. If the torta doesn't originally have salsa inside why would they assume I want the jalapenos in the torta. I hope this business stays consistent with service so I can continue requesting the same without surprises and I really hope they can accommodate customers with the choice of Jalapeños or salsa . I don't know who eats salsa inside thrrrr torta but I don't . :/ ... torta with Jalapeños is a must try ! Btw I agree with some of the other yelpers who have yelped about customer service not always being the best ... not all have a welcoming attitude--- nor an attitude that they love what they do... Note to business owner: please consider giving your employees a raise and remove the HARD STOP to choose a TIP before selecting payment because a tip is earned and not just handed over for doing your job. Why request a Tip before customers can even decide if service from star to end is deserving enough of a tip.

You get a piece of paper with the sandwich choices on it. Then, you fill it out with which: bread, meat, onions, lettuce, avocado, cheese, etc. on it. The sandwich with a bag of Sprouts chips and a water is $6. Sandwich with a bag of chips and a smoothie is $11. We waited about 15-20mins for our 3 sandwiches. There were other customers who also waited this long for their sandwiches, which is pretty disappointing. They have a lot of fresh meat in the butcher's shelf. There is jerk flavored chicken breasts, cajun spice flavored chicken breasts, and many seasoned kebobs. Everything looked delicious. We enjoyed our sandwiches, they were made well. My rye bread was fresh, the turkey meat had good flavor, and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. We found a lot of cool things here. Japanese mayonnaise, "Kewpie Mayo". We also saw Lemon Tzatziki Potato chips, we picked up a package of peanut butter cookies on the way out. I hope that they get more efficient at the deli sandwich counter. The time to get a sandwich was way too long.

It's pretty fresh and not a fishy taste/smell. They will even take requests. Lately I will call one of my homegirls and yell, "Sushi Wednesdays!" And we will laugh and laugh and make our way over. Do not sleep on chunky cookie time. The singular packed chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Better than some local bakery cookies I have had and cheaper in price, but not quality. This location has my favorite sandwich and smoothie and deli/butcher. They are the friendliest people with hearts waiting to serve and you can tell they like their jobs. They are easy to exchange words with here. The store is clean and organized. I can find way more stuff here than other locations. It is spacious and it has been rare that I have been shopping while it was overly crowded. The crowded area I would say would be the sandwich/smoothie deli during lunchtime for sure because schools/colleges/trade programs in the area will all come and get the lunch specials. The sandwich deal is so smart of them to do because in this economy, it is harder to find a good deal. Back in the day, they used to include sprouts in the sandwiches for free, but now in 2026 I rarely see sprouts sold in stores even. Healthiest smoothie I have had was the green detox, highly recommended. Every single week a different smoothie goes on sale so check the weekly ads for your favorite smoothie. The meat quality is amazing always! I always get chicken, fish, and beef on sale. I have gotten sick before from meats from markets that inject hormones in the meats. I trust Sprouts a lot and have never gotten sick from their raw meats. High quality for sure.
