    High Protein Salad

I placed an order for pickup and didn't know what to expect. The place has a very good vibe inside and around it full of plants and life. When I got home and tried the pad see ew with a side of shrimp and veggie fried rice, I fell in love and couldn't wait to come back. The high protein salad made me fall in love even more and I felt satisfied while not feeling the heaviness of eating Thai food. Service was great as well and I'll be returning with family and friends soon!

Veggie House is by far my favorite vegetarian spot in the valley area of Universal City! I used to live close to the restaurant and I still will come by if I'm in the area. Parking available in the back! The pad thai is my favorite I always try to get a side or appetizer to go along with it. The drumsticks are a favorite as well and shareable with a date. I tried the crispy portobello" fries " it was a very large portion and extremely crispy. These are all good things! we had her bring us an extra side of dipping sauce because we were really enjoying it and soaking them up! They have a small amount of tables for dine in guests, but I have done takeout plenty of times with great experiences.

Ordered ahead for pick up. They take about 20min to make. I came around 7pm on a Monday and street parking is tough. Not much availability so good thing I go it to go. 6/10 Mango sticky rice $9.95- mangos were sweet, ripe, and juicy but coconut sauce wasn't that great. Not much coconut, pretty plain. 7/10 Orange chicken $13.95- the chicken was crispy and hot and similar to popcorn chicken without the seasoning and instead had a side of orange sauce which was good because it kept the chicken crispy. The sauce tasted a bit artificial tho. 6/10 King Mushrooms With veggies and tofu $12.95- not well seasoned at all. Food was all vegan but not that great.

We were in the Burbank area and super glad we stopped by to try it. The food is very delicious, everything was served warm. All of the dishes have such good flavor. My husband recently became vegan so being able to find great food and trying new dishes has made it even better! We spoke to someone at the restaurant and he was very welcoming. The restaurant is very clean, and they have super cute outdoor seating. I would recommend all the dishes we tried and the serving size is plenty so we even got to take some home with us. Definitely recommend and parking is in the back area.

The avocado curry was PHENOMENAL! It had the perfect amount of sweetness with the right amount of spice. The vegetables were diverse. I just loved it with my rice. The garlic chicken was great. My 4-year-old son loved it, so if it's toddler approved- it must be good! We were very satisfied and we will definitely come here again. The Thai iced tea was bomb too. Free Parking behind the restaurant. The host made a snarky comment while we were ordering. The delicious food made up for it.

I got the Chicken Shawarma wrap with fries and hot damn if that wasn't some of the best vegan food I've ever tasted! I'm more of a flexitarian, but I try to eat at least one vegan meal a day. Um, what?! How is this vegan?! Whatever meat alternative they used, the texture was perfect. Also amazing seasonings and sauces. It was packed with flavor and lots of veggies. And it was super filling, too! I also grabbed a coconut water cause I need my electrolytes. I took my meal to-go, but kind of regretted it because the inside is so cute! Retro diner chic. Counter stools. Tiled floors. Adorbs. Also, the staff was super helpful and very attentive even though I was doing take-out. Just a five-star experience all around. But the first night I went to Crossroads Kitchen with a group of friends, I was genuinely blown away. It offers a fresh, modern take on vegan Italian cuisine. Drinks & Appetizers We started with two cocktails: the Strawberry Girl (alcoholic) and the Let It Be (non-alcoholic). Both were excellent. For appetizers, we ordered the Moroccan Cigars, served with a light, tangy yogurt-style dipping sauce with just the right amount of heat. The cigars themselves were delicate, filled with plant-based meat, and lightly fried. Think of an elevated, artisanal taquito. A perfect lead-in to the main course. Entrées We ordered two dishes: the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka with the chicken Parmesan add-on, and the Spicy Meatball Pizza. Pro tip: absolutely add the chicken Parmesan to the rigatoni. The vodka sauce was bold and spicy without overpowering the dish, and the chicken Parm was beautifully cooked with excellent texture, a natural and well-balanced pairing. The pizza was exceptional. True to its name, there was a meatball in nearly every bite. It's topped with ricotta and dusted with parmesan, and we added red chili flakes for an extra kick. The crust is very thin and artisanal, and every component, the marinara, meatballs, sausage, ricotta, and parmesan, worked in perfect harmony. The dough alone is worth finishing every last piece. Dessert We ended with the Brownie Sundae, which was the one minor letdown of the evening. The ice cream appeared to have been pre-scooped, as it was quite firm with visible ice crystals, not ideal. The brownie itself, however, was absolutely delicious, though the portion felt a bit small relative to the dish as a whole. Overall, the sundae was just okay. I'd likely skip it next time and explore other dessert options. Service & Atmosphere The service was fantastic, and the overall ambiance was warm and inviting. The pacing of the meal was particularly impressive. Drinks, appetizers, entrées, and dessert all arrived at just the right tempo. Nothing felt rushed, and nothing lingered too long. Parking There is no dedicated parking for the restaurant. Crossroads is located on Melrose Avenue, a busy shopping district with heavy foot traffic and limited street parking. That said, we visited on a Sunday afternoon and found street parking without much trouble. If spots near the restaurant are taken, driving a few blocks into the surrounding neighborhood usually turns up more options, just be prepared for a short walk. Plan your arrival time accordingly to avoid any parking stress. Overall, Crossroads Kitchen delivered on every front. Creative food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend, with the rigatoni and pizza as must-orders.

Each time I've come the waitstaff has been super friendly, and the food amazing. So, when planning a little birthday lunch for my mom's 81st birthday, this was one of the first places I thought of. My mom lives in south LA and we live in the valley, so after picking her up, we wouldn't have to travel far to eat. Although we planned to arrive to the restaurant at 2, traffic was horrible and we arrived at 230pm. After looking for parking, I dropped the fam off at 2:40 so they could sit and look at the menu while I found parking. I get a text from my husband saying they closed at 3 so hurry. This was news to me, as I thought they closed at 5. I found parking and rushed in at 2:48, to see my family outside the restaurant. Perplexed, I went in to ask if we could still eat, as it wasn't yet 3pm. No wait staff came to the front to greet me, so I walked in a bit and asked the waiter if it was okay to eat. The waiter said we close in ten. I said I thought the website said you closed at 5. I must have read it wrong. I understand, but it's not 3 and we came a bit of a distance and it's my mom's 81st birthday. The waiter, whose name is Jack, offered to ask the kitchen if they would still make food. I said yes please would you ask? While Jack was asking, another waiter asked me if I had been helped. I told him yes, that Jack was asking the kitchen if we could still have lunch. This waiter says, we're closing in 10. I'd like to have lunch too. And walks away. Yes, with shade. Jack returns and says it's fine as long as we can order within a few minutes of getting the menu. I say great and we all come in. The 2nd waiter takes our order with the least amount of personality he possibly can, and the whole lunch is slightly awkward and we're not able to truly enjoy ourselves with the feeling of "we better hurry up and eat" lingering. By the time we ordered and received our food (which was delicious as usual) , there were still 4 other groups of customers there, and we actually left the restaurant within a minute or two after the last customers before us. Also, no one came around to ask how our food was and if we needed anything. I'm giving 3 stars because this experience didn't quite sit right with me. Yes, it was near closing, but your doors weren't closed and there was no sign saying last call/order at 2:45 or anything like that. I feel like once the kitchen approved making our lunch, customer service should have been at its peak for paying customers, who gave no attitude and tried to be as polite with the ask as possible. It was not. I still tipped 25%, because Jack (waiter 1) was polite and my 81 old mama who I was celebrating raised me that way, but I'm not sure I'll patronize them again.
