Ambience matches the energy of the food, great service

The environment matches the high energy of the food. I had the springs rolls they were awesome, vegan chicken, lemon grass rice, mushrooms and a side of Bok Choi. It was delicious, the sauces were complimentary, yum! and I feel great after eating! Service was so kind and quick!

Oh, Veggie Village, it's been too long!! I have been pescatarian for over 2 1/2 years now and I have not come back to this restaurant since eight years ago. Why, I have no idea, but I finally came today to order takeout, and I ordered the lettuce wraps, the salt and pepper, shrimp, and the general tso chicken. The food was incredibly delicious! Where have I been!? My husband and I were very happy and will make sure we come back more often. They offer vegetarian and vegan options which is a huge plus.

Wonderful restaurant with delicious fresh vegan dishes and excellent prices! I had the Yu-Xiang eggplant and tofu entree and the hot and sour soup. Such generous portions and both so delicious! I would have loved both of them to be more spicy, but otherwise they were prepared perfectly. My server was super nice and I enjoyed talking with her. Wish they had a location in the east valley!

A consistent fav of mine! When the other veggie village location closed, I was happy to find this one still open! This place doesn't lean on heavy fake meats or oily sauces. They can be spice heavy but they're happy to cut it down if you request. Everything tastes bright, crisp, and lively. The fresh Vietnamese roll is a wonderful combo inside as it has greens so fresh they snap, and the peanut dressing although not gluten free is savory and packed with flavor. Always leave feeling energized and full in my stomach and heart every time instead of weighed down -- which can be rare after eating out. My favorite is the vegan Singapore fried rice noodle and my partner loves the vegan sesame chicken. I always ask for a full glass of water at the table because their food makes me drink water for some reason perhaps due to more spice than I'm used to. Super friendly, sweet and knowledgeable women servers. Highly recommend! 071025

I am far from a vegetarian and we tried this place tonight, the service was impeccable and the food was amazing!!!! It surprised me and I will be back! I want to try all the things. I had the salt and pepper shrimp. My wife had the salt and pepper eggplant and added the sweet and spicy sauce on the side (do that!). We had the jap chae (so good) and my coworker go the general tsos chicken. Everything was flavorful and wonderful.

One of my favorite restaurants! Great food and friendly service. The Tom Yum Tofu is my favorite, I crave it all of the time. Also love the Hawaiian Fried Rice. My mom got an eggplant tofu dish, I can't remember the name but it was also very good. We split hot raspberry tea which was also great!

My goodness! Now... I saw the photos and said this looks just like the food I used to eat when I ate meat... let me see how good it is. First of all, everything on the menu sounds delicious. I got the General Tso Chicken and that first bite... oh my. It had a good crunch on it and then went tender and the flavor... ON POINT! If I was staying in AZ longer, I would have gone back and tried all the things. The drinks are also delicious. I grabbed a pink passion. Since I dined in, I had to control my food dancing but trust me when I say you need to visit this spot. Seems like they do a lot of to-go orders but sitting inside is peaceful. When I came in I was greeted and seated instantly. The staff was very attentive. I also appreciated the level of care around cleanliness. This will be a stop every time I'm in town. Any wait to bring a travel buddy with me.

Tofu Cajun pho lovely flavors very natural and calming during the cold weather some hot jasmine tea on the side very blended taste this place feels very soothing and has calming music very good place 10/10 recommend

Simply excellent, healthy, fresh, and great tasting food! The fact that's also cruelty-free is just icing on the cake. Only negative is that it sometimes gets a hair crowded because they're so busy (especially on weekends), but it's worth the visit. Highly recommended:-)

4.5 Stars Veggie Village is the best collective of vegetarian or vegan option when you're looking for Asian food in the Phoenix area. Some options are also available in gluten free. They are very observant on how to prepare your meal. They have my trust when I place my order at Veggie Village. The best thing besides the food is the great service! The only bad thing I can say about Veggie Village is the parking lot situation.

This is my first time at Veggie Village. It's around the corner from my job and I was told the food was really good, so I decided to try it. On Wednesdays they have a special all noodle and fried rice 20% off. I got the protein noodles a little on the spicy side. It was amazing with soybean shrimp, beef, peppers, mushrooms and the spice was perfect! This will be my new spot to try different meals on Wednesdays.

I just love Veggie Village's concept of creative, aromatic & delicious Asian Plant Based food. I have my go-to favorites: *Crispy Salt & Pepper Fish *Combo Lo Mien *Dumplings *Freshly made Cucumber-Mint Lemonade I promised myself the next time I would expand my palate & try something else. You can not beat the prices for the portion & each time I order from here whether Take Out or Delivery, I'm never disappointed. Highlighting the customer service - if you have a question about your order, a friendly voice from the restaurant eagerly assists.

We stopped in for a late lunch around 3 p.m. and were the only customers in the restaurant for most of the meal. It took quite a while to be acknowledged, get menus, and place our order. The two servers were more focused on their conversation than on helping guests, and it felt like our presence was an inconvenience. The food itself was delicious, but our basket of chips was mostly tiny broken pieces that were difficult to dip in the salsa. Overall, the service overshadowed the meal, and I wish we had picked a different restaurant.

She did mention that she prefers another salad over what I selected, and I like when servers tell me their favorite items. It definitely seems like a place for a business lunch, I went by myself and actually quite a few people were there by themselves in case you're shy about dining in by yourself. It was fairly busy for a Monday morning lunch. I originally was going to get their lunch special to go bc I have stuff to do, but they said it wasn't available to go. Since I did actually have time to sit for a bit I decided to dine in. (It says dine in only on the bottom of the menu but my brain conveniently skipped over that part) When they seat you they stick a white card on the table that the server picks up after they've come to the table. I feel like it's a subtle thing that clues in the servers about which tables they've been to, especially on a busy night. I had an iced matcha with almond milk. It was sweet, but not too sweet. Matcha grade seemed on par with what I'd expect in a matcha beverage. Lunch special was $20 for a drink, main and side. Some stuff was a surcharge. I had the burger and Chinese chicken salad. Drink was a pink dragon fruit lemonade which I knew my mini mini would love, so I saved it for her. I thought it was a little tart for me, she thought it was amazing. The burger- I requested to add pickles bc I love them. It was cooked nicely, flavor was decent. I'm a huge fan of white cheddar. The sauce, per the server, was ketchup and Mayo, and they didn't drown the burger in it, so that was good. I think they make their pickles in house and tbh, I know I would have liked the burger less without pickles. I think it needed a tiny bit of acidity for balance. It was a $5 surcharge. Overall I enjoyed it, 8.5/10 The Chinese chicken salad was a hearty salad, and a lot of beautiful colors and textures. Watermelon radish is so pretty in this. The carrot ginger dressing wasn't over the top with ginger. I think the natural sweetness of the carrot really tones it down. The toasted quinoa, I could take it or leave it, but it didn't taste bad, I'm just not a huge quinoa fan. 8/10, and a $2 surcharge. So, if you want to get it as close to $20 before tax and tip, don't get anything that they have a surcharge for, but I liked what I got, it came to under $40 before tip. I wanted to try the kale aid but I'll get that next time. (A $5 surcharge if you get the lunch option) Another plus- I think the straws are biodegradable but they are not the paper straws that dissolves 2 sips in. Yay! The chocolate chip cookie- to me it tasted like they put banana in it. If you're hoping for a chewy chocolate chip cookie, this is not it. It's thick and fairly soft. It reminded me of when people make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies- similar texture. The tcho chocolate in it was good, but I didn't like the actual cookie dough that much. Mini mini thought it was so good, but she also thought it tasted like banana was in it. I think it was a 6/10, mini mini would give it an 8/10. So, about a 7/10. Restroom was relatively clean, had a baby changing table in the stall if needed. The floor seemed a bit sticky though. Would I come back? Yes when I'm in the area, I don't live close by.

She recommended a fantastic vegan spot called Tacos Veganos; and it blow us away. Yes, everything is VEGAN, including the meats! We ordered three different meat tacos: pork, chicken, and beef. I opted for the taco de papo, which was an incredibly delicious combination of potatoes, cabbage, and a sauce made from cashews. It was deep-fried, which added a unique texture to the dish. The chicken taco was my favorite. It was fantastic once I dipped it into the red magic compote. The beef taco had an aftertaste, but that's just a personal preference. Ana, who's a native of Mexico, said the same thing about the tacos. I was skeptical at first, but she was right. These tacos are so good that sometimes the substitute is better than the real thing. I was glad we got there when we did because shortly after we put our order in there was a line almost to the door. It is counter service so you kind of need to know what you are getting and everything looks so yummy it was super hard to decide. I got the AZ burrito with birria, which is made with jackfruit. It's meant to be like pulled pork. It was huge and very messy. They tortilla was very rubbery but the filling was good and I think there were French fries in there? Maybe that is what makes it an AZ burrito? Overall the flavor was good but it needed something else like beans or guac. It just tasted very one note. Also I got the horchata. It was delicious. My mom got the surf and turf taco. Again the tortilla was tough to eat so she got a fork and a plate and tore into it. This one had the "asada" soy steak and then breaded and fried pieces of cauliflower. The fake meat was not that good. It was too salty and so was the rice. The cauliflower although tasty was so big it was hard to eat. Overall it was good but not as amazing as I had wanted it to be. I likely won't go out of my way to come back.

Walked in to a nearly empty restaurant -- just one other customer -- and wasn't greeted. The AC was off with only a few floor fans running, making the space feel suffocating. After waiting 30 minutes for my spring rolls (in an almost empty restaurant), they arrived with no peanut sauce and zero apology from the staff. By this point I was flushed, short of breath, and feeling faint from the heat and poor air circulation. I politely let the male server know I was overheating and felt like I might faint. His response? He told me the AC was on and to "drink more water" -- in a rude, dismissive tone -- then walked away to greet a new customer. I packed up my spring rolls to go and paid without a word. He didn't seem surprised. It felt like this was a pattern he was used to. After leaving I checked other reviews -- long wait times, poor atmosphere, and rude staff are recurring themes. I'm adding my experience to save others the trip. Don't waste your time or money here.
