Outside appearances can be deceiving. Although very small inside, the food is Big! Big on flavor with generous portions and reasonably priced. I am reluctant to write a review because once the word is out it will be hard to get in to eat, but they deserve the kudos for the amazing food!

Cute little place, friendly service, lots of parking available. Everything is made to order, so there is a short wait....but definitely worth it. BONUS, though, they have fun little personal trivia games on each table to play while you wait. This was our first time for breakfast, but we will definitely be back for other meals too!

Had a lot of high hopes with all the good reviews and we love to try small, local places..maybe it's because we chose breakfast and I love a good lox and bagel, but we couldn't eat it..originally thought it had just picked up heat from the bagel, but it smelled like it had gone bad too.

A very small restaurant. It seems like it would be better for takeout. The garlic bread is the best garlic bread we've ever had. A lot of the drinks were canned which was unexpected. The food was underwhelming for how often we've heard it was amazing. The portions are big, easy to split a plate. It was nice to try but not for us.

Hard to give Venice less than five stars, though I will say it might not agree with some people. First off, the place is small, but there's a surprising amount of seating. The staff are super nice...I felt at home both on the phone calling in my order and picking it up. Everything was packed with care and we were invited to ask for forks, etc. When I say they were super nice, I'm not lying. The food came in huge portions (I'm a big guy and I only ate half of my chicken parm). My friend is smaller, but he also ended up saving a half portion of his ravioli with meatballs. The tomato sauce is slightly on the sweet side, which I might normally find off putting, but it perfectly balanced the meat in the dishes...especially the sausage I ordered on the side. That sausage is where it's at...a true must try. We got salads and bread (both ample and excellent), but opted for some extra cheesy garlic bread. Delish! The only real knock I might normally have would be the slightly elevated prices, but for the quantity and quality, I think it's fair. You have to try this place if you like Italian!

Do you have outdoor seating? If so, do you allow dogs on leash there?

In the back of our restaurant beside Tipsy Turtle Tavern right on the water, we have picnic tables, and it is perfectly fine if you want to bring your dog. We look forward to serving you!

Can you bring your own wine?

We are sorry but we don't have a license for that but Tipsy 🐢 Tavern is right next door.

We were a little anxious because of some negative reviews. We ate here several years ago and loved…read moreit. We still love it. Service was attentive, the wine list extensive, the menu seductive and the portions impressive. Chef Paolo stopped by to confirm I wanted spicy marinara, as it is, indeed, "spicy." MI had the Pescatore Alla Sorento (see pic). The platter is filled with clams the size of my fist, calamari, mussels, monster shrimp. In other words these are premium ingredients chosen, not frozen. Served over pasta in a delightful marinara full of tomato chunks and spices to titillate. Most people would prefer the sweet marinara. My partner had the lobster ravioli, served in a delightful cream sauce. It was divine. It is a challenge to cook such a medley of seafood and get it all right. The large clams and shrimp need to be cooked to the right tenderness, but, by then, the small clams and mussels are rubbery. Hence 4 stars. But, despite others' experiences, we were treated very well and the food is authentic. Given the quality and care that went into each dish the prices were very reasonable. We will be back, for sure.

Before our entrées even…read morearrived: The waiter mixed some oil and balsamic together in a display of pageantry for the warm bread he would bring us. He then forgot our bread for half an hour, wouldn't let my wife look at the wine menu and chose a cheap prosecco for her... and put a cherry in it?... and then the antipasto appetizer we ordered was just a bunch of canned foods and warm deli meats dumped on a plate for $22. Wife ordered veal, I ordered chicken, and what do you know, we both get chicken! We send hers back to get the veal and we hear from the dining room the owner and cooks and waiter SCREAMING back and forth at each other in the back about it. My chicken, which was very dry and overcooked btw, is boxed up to take home by the time her veal arrives. And what do you know, presentation has gone out the window! They dumped all of the ingredients onto a plate and made veal soup! The vibe was the kitchen was angry we returned the dish and threw the dish into the plate. Finally, my wife can eat her veal (soup?). But oh wait, they've taken her silverware when they cleaned up our appetizer plates. Another 10 mins pass. She finally gets a knife to start eating. The waiter apologized and offers her another glass of wine and she accepts, thinking it'll be on the house considering the disaster service we've had, but it goes on the bill! The veil reminded her of "smashed fried chicken. and it was dry." Finally we say let's get outta here and ask for the check. The waiter offers dessert; just the check please. The waiter says, are you sure? We have a few really good specials you should try. Just the check please. He turns the leave, and then looks back over at my wife, "just imagine you are at home later, about to watch a movie, wouldn't some cake just hit the spot?" The bartender starts hollering about how good the dessert is, my wife says no thank you, just the check. At this point my wife just looks at me and starts laughing. I laugh too. We both laugh. I do not tip. We head home with leftover veal soup and talk about how I must write my first bad yelp review in the car ride home. Tl dr: The food sucked, the service was worse. + 1 star for good bread, half an hour late.

The food keeps getting better. I was there for a late lunch last week and was lucky that the Mahi sandwich was the special. It was delicious. We also had Conch Fritters for an appetizer. We ate on the deck overlooking the ocean and actually got to see a dolphin swimming by! Service was great and I could tell they really pitched in and got the table next to ours cleaned off quickly when the patrons left their table. I'll definitely be back ASAP.

Our waitress (Nicole) was very overwhelmed and slow. She was nice enough when she came around but the service was not great. Now the food...we had appetizer bacon wrapped scallops they were good. But the dinners were awful. The Key Lime Shrimp and Lobster pasta was inedible; I really should have sent it back. It had no flavor other than bitter lime (and I love lime!) I see after reading reviews I am not the only one to have this complaint, probably should remove it from menu. The blacked ahi tuna had good flavor but was cold as was the quinoa (not sure if it's supposed to be served warm or cold). Our son had a filet which he enjoyed. Our girls got a side of fries and they were $8 which is crazy to me (no cheese, no toppings). Overall was highly disappointed. Was a waste of $150. It's a shame because it's a great location but the service lacked as did the food.
