Horrible experience coming here on 3/29. I purchased a defective iPhone 12 Pro from this store on 3/28. Phone tech support told me I needed to return the phone and get it replaced. So I go back to this location and there's a wait to be helped out. The male employee at the front door quoted me 15-20 minutes and to wait outside. The wait took 1 hour and when they finally called my name, I was told "nevermind, sorry, someone else is in front of you". I was eventually helped by Jessica who had a phone waiting for me at the counter. She barely spoke to me, typed on her iPad, and then said that they couldn't replace my phone because they didn't have any more of that same model in stock. I asked about the phone on the counter and she said it wasn't the right model. I had to go to a different location if I wanted a replacement. AN HOUR WASTED and the customer service was awful. Luckily, Diz at the Tustin District location was much friendlier and actually explained what was wrong with the original device. I didn't have to wait to be seen. I'll be leaving a good review for them. I will not be coming back to this Irvine location and will stick to Tustin instead, I recommend everyone do the same. Also test your iPhone in store before heading out. There are apparently many defective iPhone 12 Pros with microphone issues specifically being sold from Verizon (quick Google search). read more

Pretty surprised at the 2.5 star rating of this Verizon store. I've been coming to this location for the last decade and have always had a positive experience. Last Monday, I visited this store on my lunch break to upgrade my iPhone 6. I only had about 45 minutes, so I figured it might be a bit of a squeeze. Fortunately, Adam was very helpful in pulling up my account, assessing the various options, and upgrading me to the iPhone XR. Everything was crystal clear from the get go. I was in and out with a new phone in approximately 15 minutes. Helpful tip - parking at this plaza can be a bit of a headache. I recommend parking in the free two-hour visitor lot next to LA Fitness and walking across. read more

August 24th Friday during the middle of my business hours I came into the store because my phone battery was zapped on my iPhone 6s Plus. Immediately as I came in a lady named Lucy was at the front to greet me. I explain to her my issue and she immediately tells me that my 6s plus phone is done, let's get you a new phone. She begins to sell me on a buy one get one free deal. Long story short there are side conversations not even about my issue, and I end up walking out of the store with a brand new line not needed on my plan two brand new iPhones and a confused look on my face. I go to the Verizon wireless Tustin legacy location to get a second opinion. Sergio there helps me and recommends that to pay the last remaining month of the payment plan I have for my original 6s plus phone line. Which I do and upgrade the phone. Immediately solving my need. Which Lucy from the other store totally sold me two phones and did not present me an efficient option. It does not end there! There is a floating manager by the name of Cristina this is more awful then my experience with Lucy. To put things in context, Sergio at the Tustin Verizon wireless store recommends me to return to the original store to bring back the two brand new iPhones I did not need as to not get charged a restocking fee. This is where Cristina (a floating manager) comes into play. When I originally went to Tustin to get a second opinion she was there! Not only did she hear of my situation, when I went back to the Verizon wireless Irvine Michaelson location she was there too!! I go in there explain to her the situation, she is not understanding AT ALL. She charges me the restocking fee I was told I did not have to pay. Awful customer service. In closing I do not recommend coming to the Irvine store. I do not recommend working with Lucy, and I do not recommend ever working with Cristina. I will be writing a letter to Verizon Executive relations about the incident specifically on my experience with Lucy and Cristina. I was a little hesitant to come to this location due to the reviews I've read but I was pleasantly surprised! Lucy helped me upgrade my phone, helped with my cloud storage and even monitoring the backup. I'm not super tech savvy so having someone who could calmly help me was amazing. I was able to get the new iPhone 13, and it works perfectly! I could see why some reviews say the others were rude but they weren't they're just very bluntly spoken and efficient with their job. Did I ever think I'd be giving a wireless company 5 stars? NEVER! But today, the young woman who helped me was absolutely STELLAR. I let her know my requirements and she wrote the data table for me on paper so I could understand it (without me even asking for this! The empathy / customer service skill of this employee was incredible). She had me out of there with a solution super quickly. I just wish I got her name so that I could write it here, but I'm hopeful that management already knows who I am speaking about and values her greatly. Keep up the great talent and improved customer policy empowering your employees to keep creating amazing customer experiences like I just had. This Verizon store is much better that the ones I have visited in N OC. They were well staffed and had no wait on weekday night. I'm use to signing in and having to hang around my local store. They were helpful in facilitating a phone transfer. No hassles, no pushy upgrading or attempts to sell me cases, etc. Only challenge with this location, is the parking. I know that it is beyond the stores control, but this is a VERY BUSY area and parking is tough. You'll probably spend more time looking for a spot, than you will in the actual store. read more

Imagine the most perfect sales rep; the kind you're sure couldn't possibly exist... She's real and her name is Tamara Nicole. My friend took a huge leap forward in technology today and was on the fence when we arrived. The wait was minimal and Tamara "got it." Items needed were identified quickly, she was smart enough to deftly fulfill our account needs, and her add-on upsell (iPad) was successful because of her professionalism and sincere warmth. The location of the store is convenient as it is close to my office but the parking lot is ALWAYS FULL. I mean, always. Good GAWD. Someone needs to figure out the parking situation because that is the only reason why I avoid this place as much as possible. I knew there was Verizon store here and I also knew it was going to take awhile so I had to come here. It was your ordinary visit at the Verizon store. I had to return 3 times because of the service was not 100% complete. The total of this review would be just two stars if it hadn't been for the service rep MICHAEL. I had a couple different people that day, having had to return so many times but no one else was as helpful as him therefore earning this store one more star! He was polite, helpful and not condescending, as most service people tend to be. Despite the issues, the day-long visit, the waiting...all can be overlooked when you have great customer service. Came into the store about a month ago to purchase a new phone. Explored a bunch of different models and took a lot of time. I knew that I was going to take a while, so I told the sales associate to feel free to deal with other customers (which he did). After I finally made my selection (30 minutes or so), the sales person promptly came back over to help me with the purchase. When he tried to help me pick a phone, he didn't know the specifications of all of the phones (specifically, the water resistant ratings of various phones, the amount of RAM, and whether or not the G6 was 32/64GB - not a big deal because I did most of my research online before coming into the store to actually play around with the phones). He asked if I wanted accessories or any phone attachments, and I told him I never buy accessories in the store or get any add-ons like insurance. Dude rings me up after I ask him a couple more questions. I ask him if I can buy the phone outright instead of the 24 installments, and he says that he has to ring it up under installments, but that I can call in after July 1st and pay off the total. Okay, annoying, but that's fine, I get Verizon's logic and why they want to force people into the installments. Can't blame the salesperson for Verizon being an example of a horrible corporation. Left the store confident in my purchase, and happy with the customer service overall. Would have given this a four star review if this was the end of the story. So why the one star review? It's after the first, so it's time to pay off the phone. I call into Verizon, but before I do, I check my online bill. And what do I notice? Dude who rang me up added the insurance plan onto my line WITHOUT asking me. Now, I know some of you may think this was unintentional or a simple mistake. Guy was clearly a Verizon employee for a while and knew the ins and outs. And he knew that I wasn't going to purchase the insurance plan. Obviously, they are incentivized to sell these plans for their own pockets and because their managers force them to do so. But come on, dude... you really think I'm not going to notice that you added something onto my plan without my permission? FOH. And moreover, how many other people has this particular sales associate cheated out of $11/month? Moral of the story: check your bill when dealing with corporations like this. Came to this location today to get my new phone after the guy at the Costa Mesa location lied and said no stores in Orange County had it. And I spoke with Andrew on the phone and he held it for me till I got there! Was in and out in 20 minutes ! After spending an hour at the last place to leave with no phone. They even gave us water bottles here!! Only thing I don't like, which I know is their job but it's incredibly annoying how much everyone try's to sell add on products. FALSE ADVERTISING VERIZON WIRELESS!!! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!! I am a very long time(20+ years)customer of Verizon Wireless and I have been seeing ads on TV for the past month from Verizon Wireless stating if you sign up for the Unlimited + plan you will get Sunday NFL Ticket from Youtube TV ON US. I called in about a week or so after I saw the first ad to customer service & signed up for the Unlimited + plan and was promised that I would get an email or text within 2 days with the final steps for setting up my Sunday NFL Ticket with Youtube TV. I never received an email or text message, so I contacted customer service and they told me that they could offer me $100 off the price of Sunday NFL ticket and I said that is NOT what your commercials say and also NOT why I signed up for this plan. I said that I wanted the Sunday NFL ticket for free like promised on my new plan and I wanted to speak to a manager. No manager was available to talk to me they said so they said they documented my account and someone would be in contact with me within 2 business days and now 1 week later, no one has contacted me!!!
