Employee basically called me a liar and told me that what I was saying wasn't true and never happened. Then they said they could call corporate because it was a Sunday and it was Tuesday. I tried to return the phones to the store after 2 days, Matthew T refused to refund the activation fees $39.99 x2 and would charge $50 restocking fee x 3 that he charged me without doing anything, despite the fact that Victra policy says customer can get fully refunded the activation fee within the 1st 72hrs of phone purchases! He didn't activate any of my devices, he locked my account, and charged me $39.99 x2, This Victra business is pure scam, they're not a part of Verizon, it's a third party seller of Verizon products at highly scammed prices! Follow up on my previous review. Several weeks ago I was told I would receive a UPS "shipping label" in the regular mail since they could not successfully email or text the shipping label for my trade-in iPhone. I finally get the shipping label in the mail yesterday. Then today I get an email from Verizon saying they have removed my $1,100 promotional credit from my account. Unbelievable! At this point I could care less since I'm moving my account and services to T-Mobile. Besides T-mobile lowering my bill from $240 to $140 a month, here are some other advantages I am receiving from T-Mobile: 1) They are giving my wife a brand new iPhone 17 to replace her iPhone 12 for FREE! 2) T-Mobile is giving me an $800 credit on my new iPhone 17 I just purchased from Verizon. 3) Verizon activation fees are $40 a line, T-Mobile is only $10 a line. 4) On my latest bill from Verizon there were several superfluous fee's Verizon explained as surcharges. More surprises and phony charges to rip off the consumer. DON'T USE VERIZON - They lied through their teeth to me. Their in store customer service is literally a nightmare! Their phone support is also totally incompetent and has no power to do anything to resolve your issue(s). read more

I came to this location to transfer my 2 lines and add 2 more for my kids. I was clear with what plans and new phones I wanted to get. Aaron K was the person who help me and he was nice and shared about himself a little. I felt he was genuinely helping us. We were told it will take about 2 hours but it had taken almost 4 hours. He had difficulties activating and had to get on the phone with Verizon support. During this 4 hours process, NOT once he had mentioned how much the accessories that I had to purchase for the new phones until I got the receipt of $946.96 I WAS CHARGE to the following for each new phones. Screen protector $64.49 + each Universal Liquid Charger $39.99 + each iPhone case $44.99-$49.99+ each Camera lens cover $29.99+ each Arron had me sign the receipt without explaining anything to me. After waiting for almost 4 hours with my kids, Arron says I HAVE to PURCHASE each of this accessory to have my phones. It is a SCAM, There's NO signs anywhere in the store of this policy.. I decided to take the plunge and transfer my phone service from T-Mobile to Verizon. Due to Verizon's outstanding reputation on cell service, I was pretty happy about the switch. Before I made the decision to switch, I made sure to call Verizon's customer service center; I wanted to make sure that the plans and pricing would be a good fit for me. After I completed my call with the Verizon representative, I was advised to make an appointment to switch over my phone service at a local Verizon store, which I did. Fast forward to today. I entered the Verizon store and asked for Kate, the Verizon rep that was supposed to assist me with the switch. When Kate came to help me, she looked very confused. She told me that she didn't have any appointments in her calendar. Even with her confusion, she still decided to help me and quite honestly, I wish she didn't. I don't want to go into too much detail about Kate's terrible customer service, but what I will say is that she was extremely rude, disorderly, scatter brained and she gave me inaccurate information on the rebate and my total costs out of pocket. I was only able to handle her "assistance" for about 30 minutes before I lost my patience. Luckily, Hernan was able to step in and help and he did a phenomenal job. He was calm, informative and walked me through the entire process. I normally don't write bad reviews ESPECIALLY when it comes to naming specific people at a business, but I felt that this review was warranted based off of my terrible experience. In the end, I wasn't happy with my overall first in-person impression, but luckily, Hernan's assistance made up for it. read more

Today I stopped off at the Authorized Verizon Retailer at the Shops at Mission Viejo to see if they would attach my wife's screen protector on her phone. The reason being that I had gone to the Verizon Corporate store in Aliso Viejo earlier in the week where the Manager said she would do it, but there would be a $30 charge, to which I said thanks but no thanks. So much for being 23 year customer. When I approached the counter at the Verizon Retailer at the Shops in Mission Viejo I was greeted by in a most friendly way by Josh who introduced me to the store manger Chris. When I explained my situation to him he immediately said "I would be happy to install the screen protector."It took all of five minutes and I left with new screen protector on my wife's phone and and a fine example of excellent customer service. Went to upgrade my phone today. The store manager forgot his name cool guy. Until he lied to me and told me id get a $700 Credit on my trade in. The receipt has $0 next to the Trade In Value. Another thing he told me that id get a free case and i told him i was good because i didnt need one just temper class and he said that was fine. Well on the bill theres a charge of 2x Temper glass.... Also a charge for a wall charger? When nothing was mentioned about any of the items. Our family has been a customer for over 20 years and never had this happen at any Verizon store. I just wanted to give a shout out to dear Aaron at The Mission Viejo Mall store. I arrived around 4 on a busy Saturday afternoon. The store was clean and well organized. There was a chair waiting for me. I needed to sit down because I had work to do! I am very far behind technologically speaking. My newer phone was glitching and I needed help to get some things set up on my "newer" phone. In enters Aaron!! He was so nice and knew exactly what he was doing! He got past the glitch so we could set up a lot of the things I didn't know how to do. Aaron helped me reset my Apple ID. He made is so I could find my items again. We discussed some other things he could help me do next time I came in with my other devices. My phone was stolen and needed to act promptly. Within a couple of hours, I called Verizon's customer service number for assistance, and long story short, customer service was not able to help but they set up an appointment to get in person assistance at this location. Our family switched one of our lines to Verizon to try them first before leaving our current provider. We were happy but Verizon had an offer we could not resist. This was my first-time needing assistance and we got off to a very rocky start. Still, I showed up at the store on time, hoping that the in-person experience would be positive. And yeah, that is not what happened. As soon as I entered the store, the employee behind the counter asked for the reason I was visiting the store. When I told him that I had an appointment to get assistance reporting a stolen phone, and I saw his demeanor change. He immediately told me that I needed to call customer service. I replied that customer service sent me to the store. Then, he mumbled something like "well customer service is often wrong". After a short exchange, he proceeded to ask for my phone number and PIN in front of another customer without any regard for my privacy. I asked for pen and paper to write down the PIN. He accessed my account and told me that customer service will be ringing me in a second. It was very obvious that the employee had ZERO interest in providing any kind of assistance, so I just left the store. The WORST customer service I have ever received in my entire life did NOT end there but here is what I have to say about this location, if you are not there to purchase something, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME going here. And if your expectation is to receive assistance when you need it, I would suggest looking into a different phone carrier. read more
