My phone was stolen and needed to act promptly. Within a couple of hours, I called Verizon's customer service number for assistance, and long story short, customer service was not able to help but they set up an appointment to get in person assistance at this location. Our family switched one of our lines to Verizon to try them first before leaving our current provider. We were happy but Verizon had an offer we could not resist. This was my first-time needing assistance and we got off to a very rocky start. Still, I showed up at the store on time, hoping that the in-person experience would be positive. And yeah, that is not what happened. As soon as I entered the store, the employee behind the counter asked for the reason I was visiting the store. When I told him that I had an appointment to get assistance reporting a stolen phone, and I saw his demeanor change. He immediately told me that I needed to call customer service. I replied that customer service sent me to the store. Then, he mumbled something like "well customer service is often wrong". After a short exchange, he proceeded to ask for my phone number and PIN in front of another customer without any regard for my privacy. I asked for pen and paper to write down the PIN. He accessed my account and told me that customer service will be ringing me in a second. It was very obvious that the employee had ZERO interest in providing any kind of assistance, so I just left the store. The WORST customer service I have ever received in my entire life did NOT end there but here is what I have to say about this location, if you are not there to purchase something, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME going here. And if your expectation is to receive assistance when you need it, I would suggest looking into a different phone carrier. read more

Yesterday Kate helped me get on my boyfriends plan and the process was very fast and easy! He wanted to upgrade his phone but we decided to wait till the next day so he can transfer photos to his computer. Went in to upgrade/trade in my phone with a promotion Verizon has going on. Which is $800 off if you trade in your phone. Went to this store and they told me I had to upgrade my plan and that they couldn't even offer me the promotion. Left this store and spoke with Verizon via chat and was able to get my phone upgraded with zero problems, including the promotion! Went to this location to trade in my Apple Watch and was told I have a 3rd gen and can trade for a 6 series. For whatever reason, the CS person (blonde girl, I believe her name was Ashley?) told me I have to trade my original watch in online and couldn't do it in store. She also told me I would get $150 applied to my account for it. After a week of trying to figure out how to do it, we find out the watch is a first gen, with a $0 trade in. She also told us the new watch would be $25 more, when our bill is now over $60 more. We were also told we had to get cellular, which we found out was not required, but optional. We basically were played and lied to to buy a new watch. read more

Took a month and 3 trips to the store and a lot of waiting to finally get what I needed. Dealt with Kate the first 2 times and while she's very nice, she quite honestly doesn't know what she's doing. Couldn't even explain the best plans/deals or the pricing impacts it would have on my account. Luckily Ashley from the Irvine Verizon store was there on my 3rd trip and she was great! I brought my mom to the mission-mall Verizon store to get her a new IPhone SE. She doesn't know much about phones/technology in general, so I usually help her out when it comes to buying new phones/iPad, etc. Taylor and Olivia helped us out really well. If there was anything we needed clarification on, they explained it to a tee. Whether it was information regarding the phone, the accessory bundle, details on the plan, etc... it was all throughly explained, which I appreciated. I went in for a simple trade in. The guy working was pretty helpful up until it was time to check out and he literally wouldn't let me purchase the phone unless I got an accessory bundle. He claimed it was the store policy and then tried to negotiate which items I could get instead. I told him 6 times I didn't need a screen protector, charger, and case but he wouldn't leave it alone. He told me to go try a corporate Verizon store instead. Seriously? Just let me pay for the phone by itself. I did go to a Verizon store and they had no issue letting me get the phone by itself. This review serves as a warning to other customers looking to deal with this Verizon Reseller- Victra. Stay away from Victra! And in my opinion, I think this Verizon reseller should be closed by the Federal Trade Commission. Here's what happened.... I was looking to upgrade to a new phone and so I went to this store in Shops at Mission Viejo. The guy who helped me said they had a promo in which I could get a tablet for "FREE". I did not need a new tablet, but since its free, why not right? My first sign that there is something wrong was that the guy said I needed to pay around $350 for taxes and other fees! When I asked what the "fees" were they guy could not give me a breakdown or a straight answer. He just said, the fees would be the same no matter where I went.... And to verify this, I went to another store, and they said at most it would be $200 - $250. The "Fees" in reality are payment for the "FREE" phone case, "FREE" Charger, "FREE" screen protector, and so on.... They charge you for things they say are free.... I think this is what is called "Bill Cramming" but on your upfront fee. They also said that they were going to migrate data from my old phone to my new phone... they tried to, but they failed after letting me wait for maybe 30-45 minutes. Anyway, when all was set, and this is my mistake, I just followed the guy when he said "sign here, here and here" I did not read what I was signing, but really, who reads all the small prints? When everything was set, he handed me a bag with a Verizon Hum, I never asked for this, and we never talked about this until I got the bag. Again, he said it was free, so why not.... So, I walked away, and when I asked for a detailed receipt. I was not provided any. All they gave me was a HAND WRITTEN receipt!! 30 days after my Verizon bill comes out, and they added 2 new lines to my account!!! 1 line for the tablet and 1 line for the Hum! When I tried to complain, the store manager said he needed to get approval from the district manager... who obviously would deny my request because I was calling after their 14 day return policy!!! I really think these guys are brilliant scammers! The district manager didn't even have the courtesy to speak with me. If this wasn't a scam, why does the same thing happen to other people! Why does the same thing happen over and over again! And I told this to the store manager, what he told me was that most people write negative reviews, so we do not see the positive ones.... Other carriers have the same reviews.... And the worse excuse..... "that's sales" I'm sure Victra Customer Support would send out a reply after this asking me to email them, and I already did, but up until now, I have not received any feedback from them. I know Verizon uses the Net Promoter Score, and if they understand that concept, they would know that this is what you call "bad profits" If you have doubts in my claim, read other reviews for Victra... If someone wanted to file a lawsuit against victra, it would be very easy to find evidence of wrong doing. Just speak to all the people who gave similar reviews! read more

I was very pleased with the service I received at this location. I had recently purchased a new Google Pixel 5a from Google and was able to send texts but not receive them. It was incredibly frustrating and interrupting my life negatively. My phone service is with Verizon so I made an appointment out of desperation. Caitlyn and Olivia at this store were very friendly and willing to try different options to fix the problem. Caitlyn identified that a new sim card could be an option and sure enough it worked! Okay so my boyfriend shattered his old iPhone 8 and waited until it totally died before purchasing a new phone. He had ATT and I had Verizon. I've always had such a great plan so we thought we would see what kind of deal Verizon could give us for switching him over and adding him onto my line. This Verizon store was our very first stop and I was not expecting much as we were here about a year ago with a quick question and didn't seem to get much help. Caitlyn and Olivia greeted us with smiles and were eager to help us. They told me I had a really good deal and shouldn't change my plan but they explored different ways in how we could add Bryan and keep my good deal. They truly worked their magic and did everything in their power to get us the best deal possible. We ended up adding my boyfriend to my plan and we both purchased new iPhone 12 Plus'. I wasn't necessarily in the market for a new phone but it just made sense to get a new one at the same time. Caitlyn and Olivia continued to work their magic and got us a good deal for turning in our old phones, even his broken phone barely hanging onto life. When I refused to purchase those extras they would not sell the phone to me. They are a third-party retail store, not an official Verizon Corporate store. I am 40 years old and dealing with this store was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. Everybody that works at this store should be fired. I was "helped" by 3 different employees including the manager, Mark, and every single one of them lied to me at least once. I just got signed up with Verizon through this store. I said I needed 2 phone lines and I bought 2 phones. He broke down the cost and said it would be $125/month for the 2 phone lines and finance payments on the 2 phones. At one point, he asked if I wanted to use this deal and get a $300 tablet for $50. I agreed. I signed my name on the digital thing several times without him showing me any forms. I thought it would be fine and he wouldn't try to scam me. Then when he was writing on the form how much everything was, he told me to run my credit card through before I saw it. I thought it seemed a bit weird that I wasn't being shown the paper first but I ran my card. Later, when I got home, I noticed that the receipt had 3 phone lines on it. I figured out later that this shady prick (Mark) just added a $10/month phone line for the tablet without ever mentioning it. He also added $12/month insurance policies to each of my phone lines!! That's $34/month more than I agreed to pay and $34/month more than he said it would be. I went back to the store the next day and dealt with another liar and discovered that the $50 tablet deal only comes with another phone line. So I returned the tablet. I asked "Is there going to be a restocking fee?" because I shouldn't have to pay it since I was scammed into buying it. He lied right through his teeth and told me "I don't think so" right before adding a restocking fee to the charge!!! I later noticed this fee and was very angry so I went back to try to get it removed. This is where I dealt with a young woman who I will refer to as lying B****. She just told me that I couldn't get the restocking fee back then showed me on the form how I signed for it and pointed out the $35 written by Mark (by coincidence, $35 was the restocking fee). The $35 was for the 2 GB plan which I'm sure she knew. Plus, my signature wasn't even on that form!! Verizon also told me I couldn't get the restocking fee back when I called. So, in summary, this is a very shady company. I'm sure Mark trains all of the employees to lie and scam customers like he does. I hope they are all fired. What a contrast to the honest and great customer service I have received through T-mobile when I used them for 13 years. read more

My husband and I made an appointment online and it was confirmed and we checked in online we got there come to find out the only person working cannot sign in to the computer because he was new and the manager was not there until Tuesday. The Verizon employee knew nothing about our appointment or any appointments for that matter and was unable to help us. And we not be able to help anyone who walked in the store since he was not given access to the computer that he was left alone in the store to man it all day. This was not the employees fault this was bad management. So now my husband and I had to make an appointment with a different store to be able to get my sons phone for his birthday. VERIZON USES CONTRACTORS TO AVOID HONORING DEALS THAT THEY ADVERTISE ONLINE AND ON TV! WATCH OUT!!!!! I signed a contract with Verizon through Victra Mission Viejo. I got 2 new phones with a promotion of $750 discount during a 2 years term. Victra told me that the promotion will start after 2 payment cycles but it never happened. I made more than 20 trips to the Victra store for the same reason but nothing. I never got the promotion and Victra keep on blaming Verizon for not honoring the contract. I called Verizon and explained what happened with Victra. Surprisingly, Verizon told me that they don't have the record and to go back to the Victra store. I paid the full price of the phones and they have the money on their accounts and now they are blaming each other. I wasted more than 2 hours on the phone talking to what is so called "Verizon Loyalty Team" but ZERO. AVOID THAT TEAM, THEY ARE USELESS. Verizon is a horrible horrible horrible company! The company has irresponsible, disrespectful, unprofessional and selfish contractors like VICTRA in Mission Viejo who in collaboration with Verizon made me lose money. DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE!!! I recently move here and have been a Verizon customer for many years and wanted to check on home internet service and upgrading my phone . I walked in the store and waited a good while while one man was helping a lady and another employee was behind the desk on his cell phone . I was total ignored so I walked across the way and switched all my services to AT&T including internet service to my home and a new iPhone plus accessories. I returned to Verizon store to get my numbers need to swap service "he state oh your leaving is" and I related my experience to him. He said the guy behind the counter was new and, I said acknowledging people goes a long way and if they are up front new or not one would think greeting a customer would not be too much to ask. A bad experience turned into a very pleasant one. My phone somehow broke and wouldn't allow me to make calls or texts so I went to and official version store and an Apple store- both of which were no help. The Verizon store was worse because without even diagnosing my phone they said I'd have to pay a bunch of money and i felt like that's exactly how they saw me: just a way to make commission and up sale. I expressed this concern immediately when I went into this store as I was tired of being told a price without being given any options or even getting an explanation as to why my phone isn't working. Fortunately I was helped by Chris who really stood out as a sales person to me. He was so helpful and genuinely wanted to help me rather than make money off of me buying random upgrades I didn't need. He laid out all of my options and made the entire experience very positive. Their computers run a little slow so my boyfriend and I ended up being there for roughly 5 hours which normally would be an irritating ordeal except that Chris and Alex were amazing conversationalists and exceeded my expectations of customer service at Verizon. Not to mention this store is located in the mall so my boyfriend and I were able to pass time by getting a bite to eat. Any future issues I have I will definitely be coming directly to this store as I can depend on the employees to give me the absolute best advice and experience all together. BEWARE: THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!! (I waited a couple days to write this to see if I'll cool down, but I'm still just as pissed at them) We purchased a Samsung Note 9 a few days ago for my dad, everything seemed to go fine. Today we checked our email address and noticed that they had included phone insurance without asking or telling us about it. My dad doesn't buy insurance for electronics and got really pissed off that the salesman (his name was Ross) scammed him for insurance -- which gets them extra commission -- and wanted to return the phone to not do business with them. We went in to return the phone because they had essentially tried to steal from us and they didn't allow us to return it without a restocking fee (which is $35) even though they illegally added insurance to our order. The person who was helping me (Chris) refused to let me speak with their manager and he kept walking to the back to talk on the phone with him. After 15 minutes of back and forth they kept refusing so I decided to return the phone. I asked him how much we would get back and he said $40. That didn't add up because we had originally paid $95 for what I thought was tax. $95 - $35 = $60 not $40. After bringing this up he reluctantly mentioned there was also a $20 non-refundable "in-store setup fee" which they charge customers when they buy the phone. WHAT A SCAM!!!! Verizon corporate doesn't do this baloney!! I decided to return the phone and file a chargeback with American Express for the rest of the $55. Do yourself a favor and don't deal with these sleazy salesman, go to one of the corporate verizon stores around here that don't add extra nonsense fees and aren't commission driven to lie to customers. read more
