In trying to upgrade my phone, I called Verizon and arranged all of the logistics. Asked to have the phone picked up at the local store. Not realizing the nightmare that was ahead. I have had to cancel and redo my order 4 times. Come to find out, that was because the store would not complete their end of the process. They are supposed to confirm on their end and then complete the order and notify the customer for pickup. They failed to do anything even though the device showed that it was available. In going in the store, I asked if I was to cancel my online order and do the order through them, would I be able to get the same deal and payment and they said yes, with an additional $150 in "fees" on top of the taxes to be paid. There were at least 4 employees lounging around and they really didn't care to even try to help figure anything out. Buyer be aware you will most likely get taken advantage of here. The young employee who helped me out was very mature and polite, but several of my requests I had made were given informed or misleading answers from the on-site manager. First I requested if I could just set up the phone without an additional service charge which I was being quoted at $100-200. They said it would be reduced to $100 and would include a screen protector, charger, etc. Turns out to set up the device was just $30 and I was forcibly sold retail up priced accessories. Second I was told that I could not migrate Samsung/android text messages to the Apple platform. Turns out you can through a native iOS app, but it has to be done during the set up. Unfortunately I found this out too late and had to factory reset my phone in order to transfer all text messages to Apple after leaving the store. Then I had to reset up my phone from scratch myself. It's kind of like why did I even go to make an in-store purchase when I got non of the convenience and was taken advantage of to pay a premium for accessories? Anyhow for future reference the app is literally called "move to iOS." Its a free native Apple app, and during set up there is a selection prompt to transfer data from android on the iPhone. read more

I've never reviewed a Verizon store before but when service is excellent, you gotta give props. Honestly, I just went in to see if a new phone would fit into a special case I had for my existing phone for underwater video. That was it. I didn't want to buy one through a store, I was gonna do it online through Verizon. Well that's before I met Hash. This guy is super nice, down to earth and not pushy. He seemed very knowledgeable about phones and the contractual stuff and the pricing and how to work things. I definitely recommend getting your next phone from Hash. I went to this store to change my consumer account to a business account. The guy that helped me (Juan) was very nice but he was also deceiving. He misled me in every way possible. He had me take business internet, which I clearly told him I didn't need several times, under the false pretense that it was already included in my plan and I didn't have to pay additional fees. When I contacted customer service they explained all the charges to me and advised me to return the device before my first 30 days were up (because I did indeed have to pay extra for this). When I returned to the store to drop off the internet gateway I'm told I have to inconveniently ship the hardware myself. To make matters worse I have to pay additional fees just to cancel the agreement. Oh yeah and when I initially did all this I also purchased an ipad for $15 a month. What Juan never cared to tell me is that I was also signing an agreement for an additional service line. None of this was ever showed to me on paperat the time of agreement and I now realize my mistake was taking the employees word for good. They made me feel like they were there to help but in reality only wanted to get their commission from the sales. What a shame. read more

I got there and Mike was hands on and made sure we got everything we needed to walk out the door with a working device. Making sure I didn't have to pay more than I had too! I've had some issues with my iPhone and the staff has always been quick to help me out of a bind.

I usually go to the Verizon store in Arcadia but came by here last month since I was in the area. I wanted to upgrade to a S21 as there was a special trade-in promo. I just so happened to drop my S8 the night before and was told that they couldn't accept my phone unless I repaired the cracked screen and recommended I go to UBreakIFix. Went there and was quoted $260 to repair, so I ended up going to another place and paid $230. Traded-in my phone with no issues and customer service was fine. Not very professional (all three staff members were constantly browsing social media on their phone, having very casual and open conversations in front of me, and even being a little too casual and comfortable in their interaction with me), but I'm just there to get my new phone, so I didn't care. That should've been a huge red flag to me. My main issue is that I actually have Assurion insurance but totally forgot and this store didn't remind me even though they had previously looked through my account when I was inquiring about the trade-in promo. Yes, it's 100% my bad and my responsibility to remember I have insurance, but had they noticed this little detail and reminded me, I could've saved $200 as it would've only cost $29 to repair the screen through insurance. What's the point of customer service if they can't actually help me figure out my best options? They even acted like the promo was special to their store (false) and made a big deal about how their customer service is top-notch. Lesson learned. Should've just went to the Verizon store in Arcadia as I always did before. read more

If I could give no stars I would. This is the worse Verizon store ever. My first experience was when I had switched from Sprint to Verizon. I was charged multiple fees I was not prepared for and unaware of. After getting the regional manager to address the issue and give me a refund, I decided I'll give these place a second chance (also because there were new employees). Met this guy name Lance (or Glance). I was trading in two phones while they had a promotion for the new iPhone 13. I ordered it and he said he will call me when it arrives. He never called so instead I called three weeks later. He said they both arrived. When I get there he only had one. Annoying right? Whatever, I placed another order. A couple weeks later i still was not updated so I called and he said they arrived. I pick up the two phones and I traded in the two old phones. After a month later, I had called Verizon Customer Service to ask about the status of the trade ins as nothing has been adjusted on my bill. The lady over the phone told me there is no record of me trading in my phone!!! I call Lance / Glance again and ask him what's going on. He asked me to come to the store so he can check my account. Here I am AGAIN. He pulls out a box of old phones and starts going through each one of them asking me which one it was.. luckily he found the phones. Till this day, my bills are all whacked out with a bunch of adjustments that needs to be done. I am constantly calling Verizon to see what is going on. Ugh! Super annoying. I don't not recommend this place at all. The workers here are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and very careless. read more

Do not go here, I'm being 100% honest. They are horrible. They told me I was signing up for a $35/month plan, when I saw my bill, they signed me up with a $50/month plan PLUS $17/month insurance I didn't want. On top of that they charge another $100 service fees. On top of that, I gave them four iPhones to trade in. 3 months later I still didn't get a credit. Came into the store and they told me the phones were never turned in for a credit. This is an honest review. Please take my advice and stay away. read more

What happened was I made my payment in cash at this store, the worker's name is Pauline D, I thought I got it done, but then, I received a "late payment due notice" after a week!!So I called Verizon to sort out the issue, he said Verizon never received my payment since last week, well, good thing I kept my own notes on the calendar about what day I paid and who helped me with this cash payment. They will tell you they will call you back and never do. My phone was stolen and no one told me. Then they gave me a temporary phone and told me I had 45 days to return it while they ordered me the phone I originally wanted. They then never called me back after like 6 times and acted completely helpless and confused when I went in person to ask questions. Then on my 44th day they told me I was stuck with the phone I had and didn't want because whoever told me I had 45 days to return it was wrong. I have been a Verizon customer for 20 years; this past week at the Arcadia 917 Huntington location, I experienced the WORST service ever! I am appalled by the horrible attitude of the young men in this store. First, he acted put off that he had to get up off his chair and help a customer. Second, every word out of his mouth was negative. Once I asked for the manager's info he just got worse, stating "Go ahead and complain, Nothing will happen to me". Really? One of the other employees wrote down the manager's name, "Mike"; Is it true Mike that your employees can behave however they please, rude, inappropriate and dismissive with no consequences? BUYER BEWARE! Victra stores add $25 to your bill for each item bought and disguise it as set up fee. I ordered an IPad and an iwatch. They gave me both items boxed and wrapped in original boxes (not opened).When I asked what set up was done, they said it was "store policy" to add the $25 whether there was a set up or not! She said that fee is for getting the ordered item from their storage room in the back of the store. So they are adding that bogus set up fee to each purchased item! I also ended up returning the iPad unopened (plastic wrap intact) and was charged $50 restocking fee. $50 to return the iPad to their shelf in the storage room! I was charged a total of $75 ($25 for a so called set up fee that was never done and $50 to return an unopened ipad) to return the ipad! They also added insurance coverage for an iPhone without my approval! Needless to say, I will not be returning to any Victra store. BUYER BEWARE! read more
