Went in there trying to open up two new lines and asked if they had two gold iPhones that we were looking for and the short round older man said " we're not able to give you that information, we would need to run your credit first before we can disclose if we have the gold iPhones" we had went to previous Verizon's and they disclosed that they didn't have two only one but this guy made it a big deal that he couldn't tell us if he had two gold iPhones without running our credit. Probably cuz we were a young Hispanic couple he thought we wouldn't qualify or that's the way they cheat themselves into running peoples credit and getting those semi-sales in. I know that we've been through a lot of ups and downs like the time when my account wasn't transferred correctly and I was overpaying $150 each month and there were numerous times that I've had dropped calls during an important conversation. Though it wasn't all your fault- I wasn't as kind either. Like the time that I cracked my phone and then super glued it shut and then there was an occasion that I was so impatient with your customer service that I wanted to literally go through the phone line and strangle the representative on the other side. This store is shady. I say this because the service representative was not upfront with added fees that were added to my account when I purchased my new phone. Second he told me he couldn't waive my upgrade fee. The offer was in my Verizon account. I spoke with the manger regarding the service there He just listened. He told me he couldn't waive my upgrade fee either. He said there are three different companies within Verizon. They work independently. I called customer service. They waived it. I wish I could give a zero, this is one of the worst customer experiences of my life. First if you're going to do the triple play bundle, beware, they will hit you with a ton of hidden fees, even if you ask up front for all fees included in the price. Second, once they mail you all the equipment that you need to set up phone and internet, god help you if the equipment is broken or doesn't work. As far as verizon is concerned, its not their problem! Bad equipment too bad. After being on hold for I kid you not an hour and 20 min, the response was, they'd send someone out, but I'd be charged $91/half hour, and with 0 guarantee they'd fix the problem. So I could either pay them more money, when it was their problem to start with, or I would be forced to pay the bill I'd agreed to (assuming I got working equipment, which I didn't) or pay them even more money, with no promises. Great service! Of course, they still managed to bill me as if I was a customer with internet and phone service. I wish I could warn people more, this has been an awful experience. DirectTv has been really good, really efficient and responsive. If you want DirectTV, I give them 5 stars, but if it means you have to use verizon as well, save yourself the time and hassle, this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, and as soon as my mandatory 2 yr contract is up (in which time I'll be lucky to have internet at all at home), I will cancel. If you talk to Beatrice she is the best at customer service. I had T-Mobile and she literally got me to switch without me doing any work. She did most of the work for me which was great. I just went in because my bf needed an upgrade and I told her how unhappy I was about never getting any service, so she got me a droid ultra for free just had to pay the tax as well as a free tablet and all our accessories for free such as a phone case and screen protector with the Isis mobile app. She told me all about how i get $10 back on any Verizon purchase plus 20% every time I pay with Isis. I also get free small smoothies from jamba juice. I'm amazed. This is a great location because the choose the best for the Verizon corporate store. Came in to get my girls line switched over to my account and get her a new phone. We came in the night before and spoke to another gentleman who happend to call off sick the next day. By luck of the draw Scott who helped me before helped us again. He listened to what we wanted to do, pulled the phone out of the back room and got to work. It took him a while as we had a lot of swapping and moving to do, but it all worked out in the end. We received a message from Verizon informing us that we were going to lose all our saved voice mail if we didn't contact them for an upgrade. We tried doing so but didn't know our pin number and couldn't get any further. We decided to call the store in Montclair CA. for help, after waiting 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone, my husband and I got in the car and drove to the store. Once inside we were met by a a salesmen and inquired if he could help us and that someone would be there shortly to help. A salesman came forward and after explaining our situation was told that we needed to contact customer service. I informed him that we tried to call and that's why we drove in, to get help. He said that they were very busy with customers and he couldn't help us. With that being said we left BUT it was quite evident from his attitude that we were wasting his time. What I need to warn anyone reading this is you may get service IF you buy something but that store does NOT service it's customers after the sale is over. My suggestion would be find another Verizon store that will help it's customers AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, because the one in the Montclair Plaza does not. read more

I switched over from Sprint and I couldn't be happier. Verizon's service is definitely worth the price. On another note, my sales guy was very nice but he gave me a ton of wrong information. They literally will spend as much time needed in order to make my family and I feel good about our plans and purchases. Terrible service here. Bought a phone paid 200 dollars and 20 dollars a month. Bought a case, cover, and battery pack for 98.00. When I got home the phone I bought is a Samsung S10e they gave me a case and cover for a S10. They did not fit my phone. Took it all back the next day and because I opened the cover and then found out it was the wrong size. They would not take it back . I said it was not right a stupid policy and they called security. I left, but turned them in to the mall management, and called Verizon main office. The main office gave me a full refund and told me to do what ever I want with the items because the treatment from the store management and all employees was unbelievable. Walked in here determined to add a new line to my plan and buy a new phone. We were happily greeted and as soon as I mentioned my intentions to the rep he was quick to pass over my account to someone else and leave me in the air. The new rep came to "help" asked what I needed explained myself again and she became very bored and looked very uninterested in what I needed to purchase . She then asked me to sit and add my new line on my own through my Verizon app and let her know when I was done ! " ... all they care about is what commission they're getting, existing customers are left in the air since we can't make you money. I could have done this myself at home. When I finished the transaction she helped 3 other customers before getting back to me when she saw me getting tired of waiting she told me sorry we don't have the phone you needed in stock therefore there's nothing we could do. So you can't order it? Ship it? Etc? This store is very shady. They treat you like garbage , I walked out of this store and happily walked myself across to t mobile where they happily helped me with a great positive attitude and provided me with all the information that I needed to make the switch with them. I knew I was going to have a bad experience when I walked in the store and nobody greeted me , they all just looked and kept staring at the computer . I had to walk up to an associate and explain to them I actually wanted some help and that I was intending to buy something in order for his attitude to change and help, he told me I could stack some deals and get a large discounted price if I traded in my iPad. I drove all the way home and got my iPad and then came back to the store. Again, nobody greeted me and I had to approach someone for help, I tried to explain what the other associate was telling me and he said "do you want to come back and talk to him" that's code for "I don't feel like doing work so come back and talk to him" .I used to be a manager for cricket wireless and my employees would always greet every single customer, even if it was just to pay the bill. I did not feel like I was helped at this location and honestly the associates need better seasonal training. They are supposed to be on top of their game right now selling phones for the holidays and getting that commission, not just sitting down on their phone waiting for the customers to come to them. Seriously the most unprofessional Verizon store I have ever walked into. Verizon is an expensive network and should have classy employees who reflect their values. Came into this store last night to upgrade my phone. Sat around for about 20min until I was helped by Rudy. I already knew what I wanted and how much I was looking to pay and didn't worry much about the upgrade fee because Verizon told me they would waive it for me. Rudy offered to trade in my phone, which I did, and I also got offered a bundle. I right away knew something was shady because at 3 different times he gave me 3 different prices for the bundle lol which was very annoying because it was TOO GOOD to be true. So I only ended up buying a case and screen protector with my employee discount. Rudy told me my upgrade fee was waived and was given a receipt that said "0.00" but did not have a breakdown of the fees that were charged and discounted from my phone trade in. I got home set up my phone and logged into my account to find the receipt that said I was charged the upgrade fee and on top of that an email that said I had added Total mobile protection and some voicemail text feature. what the eff? lol . So this morning I called Verizon Customer Service and told them to remove the Total Mobile Protection, The Voicemail Text feature because I never asked for it nor was I told it was added and to waive the upgrade fee. After a round around by the Rep I was able to get the fee waived and protection/voicemail text removed. Bottom line. BAD SHADY BUSINESS by Verizon Rep at this store! Ask for your RECEIPT UPFRONT with a breakdown of the fees and double check no extra features were added. read more

I came to this store to activate a new phone that was sent by Verizon after my old one had been dropped in water. Came in here and was promptly helped. I don't remember who helped me but the associate was straight forward and didn't waste our time by convincing us to upgrade while activating the new phone that was sent. My only problem is that I am paying an extra $30 a month on my bill for the phone I have since it is on a payment plan. I owe only $280 left on it and I asked him if I could just bring in multiple payments in between my monthly cycle to pay off the phone. He said no. Either the $280 all in or the $30 each month. Verizon still has me locked into their old contract plan and literally does not let you leave until it is all paid in full. There were way to many employees working (estimated 10) on the sales floor. I don't even see that many people working the cash registers at Walmart. Sadly, this is their method of sucking people into their useless and schemy plans to rip off poor innocent folk. I will be switching to Sprint once this darn phone is paid off. read more

The worst experience in a Verizon store and I wasn't even in there for 5 minutes. The first guy who asked what I needed help with was fine but then Javier got a hold of me to help me and attitude straight from the start. All I wanted to know was how much it would be to do my own plan but since I wasn't an account holder he couldn't give me that information so I had to call and get a pin even though I was talking to the account holder on the phone with him. So after I got the pin he then just did a quick review of the plans and did the total and it was about $200. I hate Verizon all they do is lie and rob you of money. read more

I can't remember the last time I had a good experience at this location. I know I may have had one or two over the last 10 years of being with Verizon, but the bad experiences out weigh the good for sure. I always have to wait a ridiculous amount of time, some of the sales people are very rude and not to mention I've been ripped off here too. This morning I showed up at the store 10 minutes before it opened just to assure that I would be first and could get in and out quickly because I had to go to work. When I got there one other person was waiting and a minute or two before 10:00, there were about 10 people. When we all went in I let the greeter know that I just needed to make a quick change to my plan and he said someone would be with me right away. Literally everyone who got there after me was helped first and I ended up leaving after half an hour because I couldn't be late for work. It seems like this is a constant issue at this location which is why I prefer to go to the chino location whenever I can. They go in order and take care of customers quickly and efficiently without tricking them in to buying huge accessory packages and charging it on the next months bill, like in Montclair. Unless you have a ton of time on your hands or just need to pay a bill on the kiosk, AVOID THIS LOCATION. read more

The person helping me failed to switch the numbers after ten minutes of working with my phones, told me that his work was successful, and tried to sell me a battery I didn't need by lying about my phone's battery life.
