Yelp definitely needs to have a zero star option. Anywho. Upgraded 2 phones in October. They had an issue applying our trade ins onto our account for whatever reason at the time of purchase. Fast forward a month later we go into the store in November. Alejandra is our Verizon specialist and she says she will get our account straightened out. Super fast forward to now March. Which in human math is 8 months later. Happened to actually look at my phone bill and see charges for new equipment that should have never have been added to my account. I am dropping my receipts of the text conversation with Alejandra. No caption needed on that bs. After spending 45 mins on the phone with AI and finally getting a rep. They claimed they never received our phones. After stating we have text messages with the store they finally did a trace search on our imei number and found they did in fact have our old phones. Sweet baby Jesus. If I didn't have this text I was sh*t up a creek. Final thought: I will be switching to a different carrier. I don't have time to chase people down to do their jobs efficiently. I went down there for help with this, and the girl was telling me that I was never on my husband's account ( which I am) she kept telling me that she couldn't help me. I had to call the tech number several times to get help with this and to let her know that I was on the account. She didn't give a shit what I was going through, she sat there on her phone (facebook) and kept telling me that I was not on the account. In this day and age, it is frustrating dealing with "customer service" on the phone. We have subscribed to Verizon for years and we still have horrible connections at our house. No help or assistance from VErizon on the phone. Anyway, I decided that after having the "customer service" rep hang up on me since she said we had a bad connection, to go into the store to resolve our issue. Stanley, greeted me once I walked in. Articulate and well mannered and highly professional. He helped me with my questions about our account and even called up the help line to seek clarification on some money that was owed. I came in to upgrade my phone. Was greeted by a nice Asian man and told that the wait time would be around 15 mins. All 4 representatives were busy and I didn't get helped until half an hour later, that's not what I'm upset about. During the half an hour that I was in the store there was male Caucasian (mid 50s) representative that kept making loud, rude, and demeaning comments about the Asian worker and in front of the customers that he was helping. "Have you done it, figured so!" "You should've listened" "This is why my management needs training" "leave it there, you're not doing it the way I do!" He would be huffing, rolling his eyes, shaking his head and trying to make the customers laugh at the worker. When it was my turn to get helped, he walked over to me. I gave access to my phone & he interrupted our conversation by yelling across the room and again making the Asian man look bad in front of everyone. "What happened, did it work?! Oh my goodness, I'll fix it when im done here!" This man grabbed my shoulder and leaned in and began his talking about the Asian man "Management here needs to .." I raised my voice, pulled away from his hold, stepped away from his face & began motioning with my hands to stop talking about that man and trying to make space between him and I. I told him "I do not care what your issue is, I want no part of it, I am here for an upgrade and I don't understand what your issue with that other worker is!" He kept trying to whisper about why he was berating that man but I cut him off again and asked him to do his own job & to assist with my upgrade. Everyone in the store was looking at us and he put his customer voice on and did not have any offers that I wanted so I left. I should have taken his name down but if you walk into that Verizon store, he looks about 5'5, in his 50s, is creepy and looks like Harvey Weinstein. I would give this store less of a rating if it were possible..... DO NOT visit this store!!! They are not interested in actually helping you. I went to switchback to Verizon from T-Mobile I was very excited. They were two customers in the store and security still almost wouldn't let me in, demanded to know why I was visiting. First is that how you treat customers, Covid or not?? There were two sales associates, each helping a customer. I waited a good 15 minutes to be helped. When one associate was done, [he was shorter, with a bald head, mid 20's to mid 30's], he made his way over to me to see what I was visiting for. Then said when the other associate was done he would help, meanwhile the person who came over to me, who was helping the customer before me, wandered the store, LITERALLY walking in circles. Then two people came in after me, and he gladly stopped walking in circles to help them. I had to wait at least five more minutes to be helped, and that was only possible because another staff member arrived. I was there to get a prepaid plan on my phone, had a phone, and the exact dollar amount I needed in cash. Every Verizon store has a machine for accepting cash and card payments. However I was literally told my cash was no good. Even though Verizon accepts cash.. THEN..... My boss needed a new tablet, brand new one we have wasn't working. Went into this location, and again the same man was very unhelpful, and the Verizon employees would NOT process my return and tried telling me there are no tablets in any Las Vegas Verizon store, which they didn't even look. I have a feeling if I came in there to buy an apple watch or a new phone and plan they would have been plenty helpful. My boss called this location, and was routed to a different store, she specifically asked to speak with this store and NO ONE would help, or transfer her so she could speak to a real person. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and now three people at my company have experienced the same shitty service from the same store and the same custoomer service reps. Verizon...... you can do better!!!!!!! And needless to say I went with a different carrier that uses Verizon's towers. Refuse to ever use Verizon now. My mom asked me to help her get more data for her cell plan, so off we went to the Verizon store on W. Craig Road. Walked in and was directed to Robert, who was able to help us - after verifying ID and confirming that we approve doubling the data capacity for a $5 increase. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. He was informative, friendly and seemed to be an all around nice guy. No up selling - just listened to us, provided options and did his thing, all on his tablet. I appreciate working with people who are competent and professional. I came to this Verizon location in the midst of the COVID-19. I arrived a bit too early and waited. I was greeted by the manager Sandy and was told I would be helped in a few minutes once another staff member came on. My phone situation was pretty crazy, but she was willing to try and see what they could do. I was assisted by Robert and he had so much patience with me. He helped me every step of the way to get my new phone up and going since I couldn't get my broken phone to even open to the home screen. After a few calls and trouble shooting my "new/old" phone I was able to be connected back to reality. I just wanted to extend my THANKS and gratitude for all their help. I don't normally go out of my way to write a bad review, but for the situation I came across I believe it merits one to WARN future customers who come to this location for customer service. I came on a Saturday with an intent to buy a new phone in which the agent, Saul, assisted us with. Now, we were difficult customers to begin with because we could not completely understand the breakdown of charges they were going to give us based on various options. Saul was very nice and was very patient with us. But of course some things may be too good to be true as we all know that all agents here not only are required to provide good customer service as top priority but they also get commission. So agents will have their own agenda in mind. Now we were given a good option to take the Edge program where we make monthly payments towards paying off a new phone. However, Saul pitched to us (of course in a very nice and charismatic way) that with the program we would pay an up front price of $140 towards some sort of "insurance to keep the phone in good condition" when we would have to trade it back one day. So we bought into this BS with our undivided trust on Saul to be very honest. With this "insurance" up front cost came "a series of retail products that come for FREE!" we were ecstatic! We were thinking we were getting a good value here! I went through my receipt when I got home realizing that I was charged $140 on retail products I didn't even want! Phone car charger, screen protector, phone case, and a $60 blue tooth device. WOW! So..that's what my insurance was. I was upset and felt completely taken advantage of as no one explained to us this "deal" or option. I'm not quite sure if this is a Verizon sales tactic that this company trains them on or its purely developed by these agents but this is absolutely NOT COOL. I came back to speak to the manager nicely about our predicament in which he was willing to refund everything, but no apology, and instead decided to correct me "it's a bundle option that goes with the Edge program." Yes, FOOL I KNOW IT'S AN OPTION NOW! However, NO ONE DECIDED TO TELL ME THAT WHEN I GOT IT THE FIRST TIME. They pitched to me AS IF IT WAS NECESSARY. Being two women who came off as incompetent because we could not understand his breakdown, I felt completely taken advantaged of. So I am livid and would NEVER GO BACK. I visited this store to help my son with his account. The lady that greeted us was very friendly. She was a little older but very sweet however she had to switch us over to an African American lady who was harsh and rude. I asked her to see what was owed on his account. She printed out 15-20 pages of items that had nothing to do with the money that was owed. When i asked her about what money is owed and where i can find it she accused me that i didn't ask for that info and blamed me for specifically "telling her i didn't want it"!!! I can only base this on my 1 experience at this store. My issue was with Internet service that I needed at an RV park. The park claimed to have wifi and didn't and I needed it so being a Verizon​ phone customer for many years and quite frankly am used to waiting (in Montana) for upwards of 30 minutes. I walked in​ about 2 pm and was helped immediately. I have to say that first impression walking in wasn't good, I thought I might be in a bike shop but the service was good, quick and Destin who helped me knew what he was doing and solved my problem quickly and he pointed out what was most cost-effective​. We've been to this store twice now in the hopes of upgrading our phones. Both times we felt the customer service was just terrible. They all seem like they do not want to be there. Just there for the paycheck. Not helpful in anyway, most of my questions were answered by researching online while they were doing the same. This is the store I originally purchased my phone. Not only is this store A joke and the people are very rude but, Verizon turned into being a giant scam. I have been with Verizon for over 12 years and paid them almost $200 a month for 12 years. I Purchased a brand new iPhone 7 with the hopes that it would have a good camera plenty of space for storage and a big screen, seem to be a nice phone if everything worked like it should. After purchasing it there is just been several problems Apple told me the phone was defective but Verizon would not step up to the plate and take care of it. I talked to five different someone's that can help me in one day 'five of them' no help. I have spent lots of money and time just for the runaround.
