Came in with my mother to switch from Sprint. We were immediately helped by Pete, who did an outstanding job. He answered all our questions and switched us over to Verizon while being friendly, enthusiastic, and overall great at his job. He explained the different plans and coverages to us without being pushy, and made sure we understood the switching process and the new billing options. Worst service. My niece stopped by to get a phone and put it on my account. I had an extra existing line and wanted her to use it; even after explaining it to them, they still added a third line and my bill was enormous!!! Put insurance on phone plan when specifically declined. Explained upgrading/changing plan & was completely inaccurate when bill came... Even after removing the declined insurance from the billing. Now past 14 days to return the phone with a phone bill/contract I'm not happy with. read more

Verizon is about the worse I know of.... I am a caregiver and guardian for my 30year old son who was in a accident and has a Traumatic Brain Injury and has seizures so I need to call 911 when that happens. My phone is defective and I have been in four times. We changed SIM card,we did soft reset , we did hard factory reset. I went in Thursday as it now shuts itself off randomly while at 80 to 90 percent battery and then will not restart unless you plug it into a wall charger. It then goes to the white screen with Apple logo and has to go through that whole process.This takes time I would not have in the middle of a medical emergency. It will get stuck in the timer app where it will not let you out to use the rest of the phone even when the timer is done so you have to turn it off and it does not shut down as normal. Then go find charging half the time when turning it in. It shuts off while charging so my morning alarms are not working. Thursday they said they would send a new phone and I would have it in two days. I said I needed it faster as it is our only phone. After talking to the management I was promised next day so should have had it Friday which is yesterday. Canceled all appointments and sat at home with note on door saying knock loudly as I am here. No delivery. Went to tracking fed ex and found that it was slated for Monday. So even not counting the day I came in that is four days. Standard is suppose to be two. So I will have canceled two days and left my son in danger for four and a half days. As we speak it is froze up and plugged in . Verizon is suppose to be the "BEST" but to get this new phone I will now have canceled everything for both Friday and Monday at a financial cost of lost earnings that would pay a whole month and then some of the bill. Let's see if they offer me anything for this mess. And here's praying we do not have a medical emergency.Verizon also makes it difficult to talk to someone at corporate. I also tried using phone to get help but kinda funny since you have to input pin and I input four times without it working . Yep try calling for help on a broken phone does not work. read more

Worst customer service of any Verizon store. I was insulted and blamed for not catching their mistakes. Mocked even by employees. Ross in particular. Add to that Verizon sucks in general with all customer service. Avoid Olympia Capitol Mall Verizon store and avoid Verizon in general if you can. Two thumbs down and two middle fingers up! read more

My wife and I came here recently for two reasons. I purchased an upgraded phone and she was having a problem with her iPhone. They handled my needs just fine and got me the phone I had ordered online earlier in the day without any issues in a reasonably fast time frame. My wife brought her iPhone 5 in because the ringer was no longer working. I knew the problem was a physical problem (broken switch) because I had the same problem on an earlier phone and it had to be replaced. They still had to go through the incremental process of soft reset, hard reset, etc. which was a bit of a waste of time because we knew that would not fix the problem. The other concern we had was the technician at one point made my wife feel like she was mistreating the phone suggesting it would not be covered under warranty. We do have a four-year old child that will occasionally play games on the phone, but it had been in a case since day one, and should not have had this problem. Ultimately they did arrange for the phone's replacement (after making us buy the insurance), which is better than buying a whole new phone. Overall it was fine, but it just felt like they were looking for a way to pin the problem on the customer to shirk responsibility for correcting the problem. It was probably an isolated incident and we'll probably be back. read more

We visited the Diamond Verizon Kiosk in the Westfield Capital Mall, Olympia 2 times this past month. I purchased an i-phone and my husband purchased a Samsung Galaxy. Mike helped and the other gentleman that helped us were very knowledgeable and honest! Highly recommend the kiosk. Little or no wait at all. Great selection. Awesome staff. read more

DO NOT go to this store unless you know exactly what you want and are willing to stand your ground and even then, be prepared to walk. I haven't seen high pressure, boiler room, bait and switch tactics like this in a very long time - straight out of a David Mamet movie. We went in to get new phones and renew our contract. Knew what we wanted. Knew the advertised deal. Easy. They wouldn't give us the advertised deal ($120 for 10gb and free droid maxx) but kept coming up with "better" alternatives for more than $200/month. It was the HUSTLE. It was complete with the grid worksheet right out of the car dealership. Staff was rude. We walked. Truly, this is the absolute worst customer service and sales hustle experience I have ever had. Hey, I can appreciate the art of a good con but they weren't even good at it. Friends told me to go to Costco ... friends don't let friends go to this store. read more

What is wrong with people?! What has happened to customer service. All they did was look at their little tablets and ask, "I will check you in" "Umm no I am just looking" "Ok well if you have questions I will need to check you in first" So, they are incapable of just answering questions. My husband asked where the pre paid phones were and some silly person said behind our counter. My husband just looked at him and asked well can we back there? And then I heard the most ridiculous statement, "No you have to learn over the counter, like this." I think not, hello T-Mobile. read more

When ordering online for store pick up they do not notify you that the order is ready and then they cancel it and try to scam you into other options that are more expensive. Wait time for customer service is terrible also! Will never use this deal with this store again! read more

As much as I like Verizon cell services, trying to deal with their personnel can be a real pain in the butt. I was trying to correct a billing issue at the Capital Mall location. I explained the issue to the first person who spent about 2 minutes and said I had to call a 877 number to get it corrected. I called the number from the store and talked to the lady for a few minutes and she kept asking for a classification number that the store clerk couldn't give me. I was having a hard time communicating with her as she was not very fluent in English. She than gave me another number to call. I went back to the service counter and asked another person, James Erik Wilson if I could speak to the manager. He asked me what it was about. I explained to him about the other rep having me talk to the 877 number and it didn't help because I couldn't understand her as her English was not very good and it sounded like she was from India. He immediately copped an attitude and told me that Verizon does not outsource and I should stop the racist talk. Really? Well needless to say that pissed me off. I Confronted him On his statement but he didn't want to discuss it. I finally had an opportunity to talk to the manager, Vinh Tran, who was able to put me in contact with someone who could help with the account issue. He apologized for Mr. Wilson's behavior. He was the most professional of the staff at that location. If you have to go there, avoid at all cost dealing with James Erik Wilson. read more

TERRIBLE Customer Service! They really need a new manager that keeps them on track. I really do not understand why you can order online in a few minutes but when you go in store it takes FOREVER for someone to help you EVERYTIME. They seemed fairly busy when I got there asked then if they had a perticular Iphone in stock, was told yes, so I waited, waited, waited as I kept seeing employees, 4 total go into the back & not return I asked the greeter if he could possibly ask one to come help. He just looked at me and made some excuse as to what they were doing. Walked over & glanced in the window to the back room. Seen them talking and one eating soup...Really! "There's a 1/2 dozen people waiting for service". The greeter asked me what I was after, he went and looked and they where all out of stock. Are you kidding me, what a waste of time. I hope they work on commission because I will NEVER go back to this store. Oh and just so everyone knows the greeter was very kind. Just limited on what he could do to help anyone. GET A NEW MANAGER THAT HOLD EMPLOYEES ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR TIME. read more
