Bought an IPhone 8+ last week. The salesperson sold me the Zagg Case (face shield) with it which is 30 dollars (around). He told me there's a lifetime warranty on the face shield protector before I paid for everything. After I paid for everything, he told me that for every replacement, it would be $5 and I would have to do it online or go to the kiosk at Victoria Gardens. I was kind of upset but in a rush so had to leave. I didn't get the name Of the salesperson but have had friends go to this store as well with a similar experience. Just shows their sales reps are hustlin haha. I know they need to sell shit, but never had an experience like this where they told me after I paid. If anyone has seen training day, Smiley woulda told me I got played like a fool, haha. When you need a new face shield, you need to pay for shipping and handling which is a little more than $5. If you go in person to the kiosk they charge 9 dollars! Was a complete rip off, I don't have the name of the sales rep, I wish I did. The products at the Verizon store are a complete rip off. Go on Amazon for accessories everyone, everything is cheaper and good quality. The face shield protectors are 3 for 6 dollars on amazon- they're all good quality too. don't buy verizon' overpriced, in store accessories. They'll say their accessories are top of the line but you can get them on amazon for 10-15 dollars cheaper. Not to mention, they didn't even have a sample display of any iPhone 8 phones. We came in because there is several issues we need to address on my business account which has over 10 lines! We were advised to visit a corporate store by a manager. However, upon walking in at the door, an employee basically turned us away because he said what we needed to do could be done over the phone with corporate and no one at the store can help. We didn't get a chance to really explain the issues we just mentioned business account and he stopped us and told us to just call corporate. Sounds like he just didn't want to deal with anything relating to a business account. Verizon is terrible with customer service issues and just give the run around. My husband and I came here to switch from Sprint to Verizon. We were immediately greeted but was told there would be a wait. Ok that's fine since it's busy. The guy that helped us in the whole process I believe was Aron as that's what the receipt says. At first it was going good. He helped us save money and told us to save money on activation fees we can go and do it online. Which he did for us. We paid for the taxes of our phones and waited for the phones to be "ready for pickup". While this was going on he then walked away to help someone else. He seemed to be all over the place yesterday and not 100% into helping us. He was more interested in being off and being with his family. Which I totally get as it was Christmas Eve. But, please don't inconvenience us because you're going to leave. Well our phone numbers for some reason weren't transferring to the new phones. So, he said do you want to wait here until 4 or go home? So we could do it at home. Mind you it was only 30 minutes from 4 so we decided to go home because he said it'll take a couple hours to transfer. Well we waited and it wasn't working. Still. So, I called Verizon customer service and it took 1.5 hours to set everything up with them and she said he didn't do anything that he was supposed to in the store. He didn't put our pin in. Nothing. So poor people on the phone but it made us even more upset since we were in the store for 2 hours. I have never had an issue like that before. So since he didn't help us in the store it took time away from our families because we had to call and get it taken care of while he was spending his time with his family since we are no longer his problem. I refuse to come back to this location if I need anything. The only reason for 2 stars was because of the customer service people on the phone or else I'd give no stars if I could. read more

FIRST TIME YELPING ANYTHING BUT THIS NEEDED TO BE SAID. The Manager Eric at the Verizon store was a jerk. I bought the New Galaxy 5g S10 on 7-10-2019 came back into the store on 7-11-2019 the next day to get a copy of a receipt from recent purchase same Associate, same manager Eric that help me the day before that remembered me by face and greet me. He even told me that he remember me from yesterday. Would not give me a copy of my receipt because I forgot my ID, asked if their was another way to validate my account information. I know in a perfect world everyone always have their ID on them. But things happen from time to time. If this guy didn't remember me for the previous day and I just came in off the street, I would have understood. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. After two visits (I had appointments for both) and five and 1/2 hours later I was finally given a phone I thought I had ordered. I went home only to find it was the wrong storage capacity. Mike, the Manager, should never be in a position to deal with the public. He is rude, arrogant and his "it's my way or the high way" leaves a lot to be desired. He had me sit for 90 minutes the first time (didn't have it right on HIS schedule) I left and returned two days later and he told me he had sent the phone back due to a 3 day rule. Whatever you do, stay far far away from the store. Employees are incompetent, unhelpful, and rude. Went into the store because my phone was not working properly. As it was under warranty, they ordered me a replacement. Unfortunately, the sales rep ordered the wrong model phone. (After I had already corrected him once.) When the wrong phone arrived, I was advised by customer service to ship it back in the pre-paid box. Shipped that phone back and UPS shows that they received it a week ago, but apparently it hasn't been processed by their return center. They will not ship me the correct phone until it is. I've spent hours on the phone with customer service who sends me back into the store and vice versa. I asked the manager to call customer service and try to fix the situation and I was told that they don't have time because they are short staffed. There were three customer service people standing around in the store and the manager in the back. I have a business account with probably 15 lines on it, I've been with their company for 15 years, and this is the customer service that I receive. Run away!!! read more

Was told they needed 15 mins. more. I waited. Was given the phone and told it was fixed. Next day was still broken. I went back. was told it was NEVER put in computer to fix. They LIED. Time after time continuous problems. They screw up their bills repeatedly. Their ads and store prices never match. They rope you into 2 year contacts without signatures. Their products always break. And, another major pet peeve........If you are married ,only ONE adult can be on the account. Therefore, if you ever need to make changes, or additions, spouses do NOT exist with Verizon. Actually, 0 stars. I've had Verizon for around 6 years now. Everytime I have to come to this place I cringe. Seriously. Whenever my phone gives a little stumble, I lose a breath. THIS PLACE SUCKS THAT HARD!!!!!. Verizons Service is pretty good, rarely ever a dropped call, but I'm do for an upgrade and went in to check out the phones in person last night to get a feel for them. What a waste. This place is horrible. Don't even bother coming here just go to Victoria Gardens and save yourself a stop. I walked in with a problem with a galaxy watch and I got told that I need to contact activation because the watch was only paired with Bluetooth. WRONG...I walked outside. Turned off Bluetooth on my phone and made a call from my watch. Therefor concluding that it's not connected via Bluetooth. The representative was not willing to try any troubleshooting but rather gave me a 1800 number to call on my own and deal with it. So glad I've paid Verizon $150/month for the last 6 years to get this kind of service. read more

Hmm, so I have come to realize that I sometimes have issues with salespeople (never mind that I am one). I just think a lot of them are slimy, and they're tactics are transparent (not me though, of course!). Verizon sent me to this store when I started having problems with my Droid 2 (there were several issues with the phone). I was told that they have a technician there that could help me or decide whether the phone needed to be replaced. I get to the store. Let me set the scene for you. I had just got out of work. I had the two rugrats with me, my feet were killing me, and I had a piece of crap phone that was dropping almost every call. Enter, the 'technician'. He proceeds to try to sell me on an extra line for my 8 year old son, to which I politely reply, "I'd really just like to get my phone fixed." But of course, he's a slimy salesman and he persists. After I'm there for about 45 minutes and he realizes he's not gonna make a sale off of me, he tries to fix my broken phone without giving me a new one. That's when I put my foot down. "The power button is BROKEN. You can't FIX that." He couldn't even fake his annoyance. Yup, so in the end he had to agree to replace my phone AND he didn't make a sale off me. Boo hoo. I was promised a new phone for free for my daughter once her contract was up, so I came back three days later (when the contract was up), and they pulled a "bait & switch" on me. I spoke to MJ Choi, the store manager, and he just kept up the nonsense. I called Verizon Wireless customer service, and they have me exactly what I was promised without any trouble or hesitation! I came into the store with a very complex transaction involving an iPhone 5 and Tony was very courteous, professional and went out of his way to understand the proper procedure he needed to complet to make sure my unlimited data was not affected. The store remodel is also great with lots of natural light coming into the store and is not as claustrophobic as before. Just like anything, bring patience when you need help. All I can say is Jorge rocks! My mom and I had an upgrades for our phones and a little nervous to go into the store to wheel and deal. We started talking to Jorge and he was so awesome about laying out the plans that were available to us and the different cost breakdowns for each service. He was able to make sure we would be getting the best deal! While we were waiting for our phones to arrive he made himself easily available able via text message or a quick phone call. If you want somebody who is knowledgeable, nice and dependable Jorge is your guy! He is the only person in the IE I will be dealing with in the future. read more

Horrible experience with Verizon. I bought 2 Iphone 13 and never received the credit for one of my phones I returned. I have called 5 times to correct my account and still I am being charged and not given the credit each month for the new Iphone. I have been a Verizon customer for 20 plus years and this is how I am treated. They are LIARS!!!!!! Then at one point I receive the credit and now they are charging me back the credit. Verizon should hire better people and do what they say. Every time I call they tell me everything will be taken off. Received my new bill and guess what no CREDIT. I have literally had the WORST experience with this phone company. The stir orders the wrong size Apple Watch on Sunday, I tried to cancel the order on Monday to have the right correct size sent , I was told it already shipped and I had to wait til Wednesday , until that watch came in, return to store and reorder. Well watch was never delivered , Called Verizon and some smart ass women on the line, didn't even wait to hear what I had to say and told me to contact fedx, I told her if she would let me finish talking I cld tell her the rest, BITCH hung up on me. I called back, spoke to another lady who then transferred me to sales dept, I was on the phone with Mike for two hours explaining he fixed all and the phone would be on its way to be received to day at my office... well again no phone. I called AGAIN to find out I was given the wrong info.. another tax payment needed to be paid even though I already paid for the first one , EVEN though rep told me I didn't need to he would reflect a credit in the account . Explained all this to the new guy on the phone, now since I can't access the payment portal he had to create a whole new order, so I said fine. In the middle of all this I am now told I need to make a payment to my phone line before I could order a watch( even though I just added two phones and had no issue ordering Sunday, Monday or Wednesday and now I have to pay a payment that just became due . I was DONE! If I could turn in all my phones and cancel with Verizon I would and go to T Mobile or AT&T. I am beyond unhappy with this company. read more

This place is a joke. The workers are rude, unprofessional, and lazy. I came to the store to get service last year and the worker whom helped me was impatient and ended up giving me a bad attitude and rolled her eyes. I felt horrible and thought she didn't want to help me and wanted me to leave. I went to the store again a few weeks ago to upgrade my phone. The worker whom helped me didn't bother to check my account to see what phones I'm qualify for an upgrade. He told me I could find the information online on my own. I think because it was the end of the day and the store was ready to close in an hour. I have been to many other Verizon stores, and the workers were super friendly and helpful. Don't come to this store, you will be treated like a disease. Stopped by the store on 4/1/23 to trade in my current Apple Watch for the newer version. The representative who assisted me was unprofessional and not truthful. She requested I call in to cancel my my existing line to get the full benefits of the promo they had running for Apple Watches. That should have been the first ref flag. She said I could do it once I left the store and I told her I felt more comfortable doing it right then and there. She seemed annoyed with my decision but came back once I was done with canceling over the phone. She then proceeded to let me know that the watch had to had to have insurance coverage. I told her I had NEVER heard of this and have been a customer for over 15 years and never have experienced someone being this pushy. She then proceeded to let me know I had a " loyalty offer" on my account for Verizon home protection plan. I asked twice if it was no additional cost and she said yes! At the end of the transaction, the representative stated "if you call in 30 days to cancel that's ok" She could tell I was uncomfortable and 2nd guessing what she was telling me. Well 2 days later I received a notification that the home protection plan is in fact $25 per month! I cannot believe Verizon is ok with employees misleading their customers in such a way. I called in to the 611 number to review all of the changes to my account and the representative confirmed protection was not needed for any items, it's optional. She said I did have a loyalty offer but that it sounds like the store rep took that and applied it to the protection because she has a quota to meet! It's nearly impossible to get in contact with management at the locations. I will have to go in person so share this experience because it's not ok to do this to customers. What a terrible experience. I have always been a very loyal customer and this experience makes me second guess myself. I hope this gets addressed at the local store level. read more

PLEASE READ: I purchased a Verizon hotspot from Melina who didn't explain at all how the "unlimited data" plan worked. Fast forward 10 days, I had apparently ran out of high speed data usage after I called customer service on a Friday evening wondering why my data was loading incredibly slow. Customer service told me I had until Tuesday to return the product if it wasn't going to work for me. (Monday happened to be Labor Day). Upon arriving Tuesday to return the product I was greeted by Melina again who, after I explained to her the reason for my return stated she didn't remember talking with me however starting explaining to me how the product works... uh, too late. She went on to check my receipt to see if I was within the 14 day return policy and she told me my last day to return was actually yesterday (Labor Day) and that it was too late. I had stated customer service told me today was the last day I was able to return the product, not yesterday. It didn't matter what I said, she was not going to allow me to return the product which at the point oshe neglected to even slightly explain to me in the first place. She then added, which pushed me over my boiling point, that if I still wanted to return the product there would be a $180 cancellation fee since the hotspot came with a 2-year contract... WHAT!!!!! And there's a $35 restocking fee which she miraculously definitely remembered telling me. I immediately walked outside and called customer service, explained to them the situation, and they happily, kindly, and effectively worked with me over the phone on how to mail back the product for a full refund (even the restocking fee). I walked back into the store to speak with Michelle the store manager, explaining to her that this situation was so unnecessary when in the end, it's the outcome I went into the store to achieve and walked out of the store feeling stressed, frustrated and taken advantage of. To top off the ending, Michelle encouraged me to take down the customer service representatives name that took the return just in case what he was promising me isn't the actual truth... no Michelle, customer service is actually the savior in this situation, it's your store and it's culture that should be re-evaluated by upper management. Brick & mortar storefronts are the faces of the company and in my opinion carry a larger responsibility to leave a good impression on a customer. If you're looking for honesty, integrity, and a store that's solution oriented, LOOK ELSEWHERE! Response to Verizon's reply: I appreciate your apology however it doesn't change anything. How can you ask someone to trust you again? You have no control over the actions of the same unethical employees. The only apology worth accepting is the one from that employee and that manager. Just another normal Verizon store. I'm writing this review to mainly counter the bad reviews I've read about this place, which is the reason I was skeptical about going to this location. Surely I was looking for quality help (we all know how annoying it is not being able to get things done because you didn't get the help you were looking for.) Anywho, the workers here were great! So nice and courteous, even when I called on the phone. They were very respectful and were able to answer all my questions without any problemo. I did get a little lost trying to find this place. It's right next to the ice cream parlor, but wedged inside the small breezeway, so you won't see the Verizon sign until you get out of your car and walk, yes it took me like 10 min to realize that. I don't think I will ever go to any other Verizon store. Alfred, the store manager has earned our business forever. We had a pretty complex situation when we went in. Not everything went as planned, but Alfred was able to rectify the situation. That led to 2 phones being upgraded and changing our plan. We are very happy with how persistent Alfred was to help us. He even made a follow up call to us the next day to make sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend this store. It seems from the other reviews that they have recently (assuming late 2014) had a management change and it has been for the best. read more

The girl did not listen to me and transferred even though I told her I did lnot save to the cloud. She talked to other people and texted someone while helping me! I had a very old cell phone, and was dreading getting a new one because I hate what happens in cell phone stores. I went to the Verizon in rancho and spoke with Rolman. He talked me through the whole process, made me comfortable with all the concerns that I had expressed, and I walked out with my 1st brand new smartphone in 6 years. My mother was in contact with one per at AT&T, as she obtained information and her questions were answered. As it came time to purchase the phones, we were given the run around by AT&T. There we met Vanita Lockhart. :) Vanita was kind, patient, informative and provided us with WONDERFUL customer service. We purchased our phones, cases, chargers and screen protectors. I went here to merely turn in my trade-in phones. They were busy and it took 15 minutes for someone to help me. Despite my repeated attempts to clarify what I was there for, the sales associate did not understand and proceeded to create a new trade in. I repeatedly mentioned that the trade in was part of an online order during thanksgiving promotion, but he is not one to listen. He had no clue about the online promotion from Thanksgiving day and this is a corporate store. It was a waste of my time and the only solution sales associate offered was to call Verizon's customer loyalty team. No Thanks, I am not prepared to be on hold for hours. It could just one incompetent associate, but I would think twice and take my business to Costco's wireless center. read more

I would not give any star, if I did not have to. I received the worst customer service ever! When I walked in everyone was standing around playing on their tablets and /phones. I had one simple issue (which could have been solved in 5 minutes) and the sales representative was rude and chose not to assist me with my issue. What happened to customer service and going above and beyond to make the customer happy? Especially when he needs to realize that customers like myself and other Verizon wireless customers are what keeps him in business. I will never go back into this location.
