Went into to Verizon yesterday to upgrade to a pixel 3xl. Chris hooked it up. He gave me all the information to make my switch hassle free. For some reason, there was issue with my number, but he put in the work to make the upgrade happen! He even got Luis to come in clutch and honor the quote I was given by Verizon corporate. Showed up at this location at 6:00 pm to do an upgrade on my plan. The sign on the door said they closed at 8:00 pm but all the doors on the store were locked with the lights still on, their metal gate wasn't locked either as they regularly do. I could see the lights in the back room were still on as there was people still there. I then left to el molino de oro and when I came back out the lights to the store were turned off. This place is horrible. Its not a corporate store, the sign say's Verizon but its not. I changed over from AT&T what a terrible experience. The store has a bunch of puppets in it with store manager on there name plate. The owner tells them to take advantage of all the customers. I bought 2 I phone 8's there in less then 30 days one of them broke, you would think after spending $800.00 dollars on the phone you would have more then a 30 day warranty on it. Not at this store , that's how bad this place is , if i treated my customers like this i would be out of business. Ill NEVER GO BACK AND I HOPE YOU DON'T read more

I was extremely frustrated and disappointed by this store and Isaiah (I believe that was his name) in particular. I called to verify they had a specific iPad in stock. I needed it that day. Isaiah said he had one and to come in and I said I'd be in within an hour. When I arrived I found he did NOT have what I asked for and it wasn't even a mistake. He had nothing and hoped to talk me into buying it so he could order it. Be honest with people don't mislead them hoping to make a sale anyway. read more

I went in to switch a plan from AT&T to an existing Verizon account. After a few tries, the associate (Irving) helped me unlock the AT&T phone and we were successfully able to move the phone over to Verizon. I then needed to change my cell phone plan. I left the store and checked my Verizon account the next day. Unbeknownst to me, I had been signed me up for a $13/month 'Total Mobile Protection'. I did not need this and this was not discussed when I was at the store. Also, I was told that I could get a $5 discount per line if I enrolled in auto-pay. However, it was not communicated clearly that I needed to enroll with a DEBIT card or a direct checking account in order to get the discount (not a credit card). However, after calling Verizon customer service the following day, I was able to straighten both the issues out. I was happy that Irving was able to help me apply and submit the $150 promotional rebate before I left the store. read more

Dishonest business. Bad experience. Be careful. The process felt like I was purchasing a used car. I was aware enough to catch onto their shenanigans, but many customers, I am sure, fall prey to their tactics. Go to a Verizon owned store, not a franchised retailer! I went to the store to add a friend to my existing Verizon plan. While at the store, due to a promotion, I elected to purchase a new iPhone for my friend instead of having him use my old iPhone. Maria agreed to include, at no charge, the protective case and glass protector for the new iPhone. While going through the purchasing process, Maria insisted I was required to purchase an insurance plan for the new phone, but I could call her in two weeks to cancel the insurance. When I told her I would just call Verizon directly, she stammered and repeated I could easily call her directly to have the insurance removed. When I questioned the veracity of the required charge, she insisted the insurance was required. At the point of sale, when I told Maria I would like to review the bill because the total seemed high, she quickly scrolled down her computer screen, with me in view, and stated the charges were legitimate and the total was correct. When I had her review each charge with me, as I wrote the charges down on a separate piece of paper, surprise, I was charged approximately $60.00 for the protective iPhone cover and glass protector. It is only at this time Maria stammered, "Oh, I cannot include, at no charge, the protective cover and glass protector." Dishonest practices. As soon as I left the store, I contacted Verizon directly. I was told by the representative that obtaining insurance was not required. Maria lied. Fifteen minutes later, Maria called me to tell me I had to come back to the store to provide a copy of my driver's license as well as a credit card authorization. When I asked her why I had to sign a credit card authorization, she stated it was a requirement in the event I should cancel service on the added line prior to the expiration of the two year contract. At this point, because I did not believe one word coming out of the mouth of Maria or her manager, I contacted Verizon directly while at the store to ask if a credit card authorization was required to have on file in the event I cancel my two year contract with Verizon. Verizon stated it was not a requirement. Maria and her manager lied. While at the store, a copy of my driver's license was made, and I left the store; never, never to go back. read more

I generally hate new phones because the process is always too long and with people that don't care or have knowledge. If you need real brains and help. And want to be treated like a person. Have problems solved. Come to this Verizon. Kudos to Louis who spent all the time I needed to learn every nuance and get some things that needed brains to work. He was friendly and kind and never in a rush. To have a retailer care so much was a fantastic experience. Just walked in and got 2 new iPhones for my parents added to the family plan. Aaron and Russell were super helpful with all the paperwork and took the time to explain all of the details on the itemized bill. I especially appreciated how patient they were with my dad, who is not the most tech savvy guy. I think he was overwhelmed by everything on the iPhone and Aaron was really helpful. I want to review Verizon, but especially Christopher at the Victra location on Del Obispo. We had AT&T when we moved to San Juan Capistrano and the service in our neighborhood was terrible. We switched to Sprint because they seemed to have the best pricing. Sprint was WAY worse in our neighborhood (the SJH golf course area). My teenagers staged to revolt, so we decided to switch again. This time I spoke to every neighbor I could find and after doing so I felt confident Verizon would "suck the least" as it relates to service where we live. As it turns out Verizon service is actually pretty good in our neighborhood. I'm very pleased in that regard. I am not sure what else I could say about Verizon, so I want to move on to Christopher at Victra. When we originally got AT&T things were shady from the get go. It seemed like every month some random charge was on our bill. After spending an hour on hold they would always correct it, but this happened at least five times. For this reason I am very weary as it relates to what cell phone providers commit to when signing up. I started the process of switching by visiting the the Victra store where I first met Christopher. Christopher told me about a lot of promotions Verizon was having and wrote everything down. I really appreciated that. As I already mentioned, I am a little gun shy in taking a sales person's word, so the next day I called Verizon's sales number. Verizon's customer service was very pleasant and fast. My sprint phone dropped the call twice, and they called me back, so that was nice. What really stood out in all of this is that the rep at Verizon I spoke to was not aware of all of the promotions Christopher knew about. What Verizon originally told me was not as appealing as what Christopher had offered. When I probed the Verizon rep about this he did some researching and was able to verify that everything Christopher offered was indeed available to me. The bottom line is, Christopher found things that even Verizon missed. I made an appointment with Christopher a few days later and went in to make the switch. Christopher did an awesome job. He took care of every detail of getting our phones backed up and then restored when we got the new phones. Much of the incentives were rebates, which are always a nightmare. Christopher filed all of the paperwork for us and emailed me a couple of days later when everything was complete. I was very pleased when I got emails from Verizon verifying that all of the rebate paperwork had been received along with the tracking numbers to track them. Let me summarize this review by saying that Christopher did a perfect job of finding every incentive available to me, took care of all the technical sides of switching us over, and followed up on every detail exactly as he said he would without me having to remind him. This is rare in today's high volume retail environment. I would definitely recommend Verizon, and in particular, that you make the trek down to San Juan Capistrano and let Christopher at Victra set up your account. read more

Today,I had an exceptional experience with Marco at this Verizon store. My friend was here visiting from New York with a brand new phone which did not seem to be functioning properly in several areas . Marco spent a great deal of time with her and was extremely patient, professional, and conscientious and was able to resolve all of the issues with her phone. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly staff. Hernan was very helpful and took time to explain to my husband his ipad to him. He is very knowledgeable and told us to come bk so he could put my husbands iPad screen when it came in. The next day Herman was off and Chris was so gracious and was so helpful with us and he took time to put on Joes iPad screen. So helpful as well! Today I came in to the store. I have been to this store several times to reduce my phone bill. In October, I brought in a new phone and thought I was presented with a reduced cost of a plan. Now at end of December, my bill will be $30 more than before. Curious as to how this could be, today, when I walked in to an EMPTY store, 2 customer reps did not even greet me or look up from their pcs. I mentioned to one that their customer service skills were lacking, and discovered this person was the 'Manager". I did not receive a satisfactory answer to my inquiry. Who is in charge of these stores - are they independently owned or under a Corporate umbrella? I want a new carrier but am limited in my neighborhood. read more
