    SAUTEED CHICKEN BREAST FILLETS
    Chrissy L.

The Sauteed Chicken Breast Fillets at Versailles were delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, sauteed with onions in a light, savory gravy with wine. The white rice and sweet plantains balanced the savory chicken.

We had higher expectations since we loved the Cuban Cuisine we had in Florida this summer. The Cuban Style Roasted Pork- Lechon Asado is served with their unique garlic mojo-sauce then topped with sliced raw onions (lots) covering the pork. The meat was tender and had that citrusy and tangy flavor, a little too sour for me. Didn't get a strong garlic flavor. The Fried Pork Chunks- Macitas De Puerco had tender lean chunks of pork marinated in Versailles' garlic mojo-sauce and topped with sliced raw onions (lots) covering the pork. Liked the crispy crust and although it wasn't as garlicky, it was flavorful and juicy. Citrusy and tangy, a little too sour for me. The rice and beans tasted savory but could have been more aromatic and flavorful. It tasted like they topped it with their mojo sauce, a little too sour for me. The black beans were earthy but not as flavorful. I had to move the many onions to show the pork in my pictures and videos. The sweet fried plantains were so delicious!! I couldn't stop eating them!! The complementary garlic bread was buttery, soft and garlicky. So tasty!! They have a bar and TVs playing sports. Casual large dining area.

I came by one day because I was in the mood for something different that I did not eat often. When I entered this restaurant, I already felt like I was on vacation experiencing a different culture. I enjoyed going through the menu and ended up ordering the papas rellenas, which were mashed potatoes stuffed with meat and shaped into balls, then lightly breaded and fried. The Famoso Pollo Versailles (Versailles Famous Garlic Chicken) was also a treat. This house specialty was a juicy roasted half chicken marinated in delicious garlic sauce and garnished with sliced onions. I also got their amazing garlic bread bites and this was the perfect addition for this hearty meal. I enjoyed the papas rellenas, which were extremely delicious. This dish was crispy and savory filled with a variety of textures. The sauce it came with was a great way to complement the item! I also understand why the garlic chicken has gotten rave reviews. It was a mouthwatering entrée that tasted better when combined with rice! The bread bites were tasty also and I am so glad I got a taste of this mixture of dishes! I highly recommend this spot and all it has to offer!

Oxtail. The meat is melt in your mouth. So juicy. The sauce is just right.

It's been a while since I visited this place. Glad to see familiar faces, same courtesy, cleanliness, great tasting food and everything just perfect. Ordered the language, oxtail and #13. Always the garlic bread served first, warm and garlicky. Cup of the black bean, food came out pretty fast and it taste awesome. Love it

Beware if you order from the App-you will pay more for each item by several dollars each. Website vs App. $11.99 vs $16, $19.99 vs 24.99, $3.50 vs 4.99-that is ridiculous and highway robbery. You charge more so we pay for your App fees? That is wrong and not ok.

We came here with friends after seeing the new Bruce Springsteen movie as they said it was great. I ordered the #6 Famoso Pollo Garlic Chicken and an iced tea while my wife ordered a Mixta salad, and we both thought the food was okay. I don't remember what our friends ate but they really enjoyed their food. Enrique, our server, was good and helpful. I'd come back with the same friends who love this restaurant but not sure I'd recommend it to other friends before coming back a second time.

If I still lived in SoCal I'd be eating here weekly! We moved to the bay area 25 years ago but crave the garlic chicken (or pork) served with plantains black beans & rice. Everytime we road trip south we will plan a stop for a meal. Today the 405 traffic south was at a standstill, and since we were hungry we knew our next move-especially for the lunch special which is smaller portion but good value! Hope we have time for another meal soon here or at the Culver City location on Venice. If you have never been and love garlic, huge portions I strongly recommend!!!

My accidently spilled black beans, the waitress didn't find it necessary to help me clean up.

I never imagined giving this place only one star. Quite frankly, if I could, I would give them 1 minus! I have been to this place so many times in the past 20-some years, and I just loved their "Famoso Pollo Versailles", especially with their delicious BBQ sauce. I can't recall how long it was since I/we've been there to eat, but I always had good memories of the service and food. Nevertheless, tonight, after my spouse and I decided to have dinner there, we both said, never again!! We got there around 8-ish, and the place wasn't really that busy for a Saturday. Maybe 6 or 7 small tables. That was all that was occupied by customers. A female server asked us how many people were there and then showed us a table to sit at. Shortly after, we ordered our drinks and food. The waitress came across as unfriendly and not in the least welcoming. But the unnecessary noise from the kitchen was almost unbearable. Absolutely zero consideration that all customers could hear this since it is an open kitchen next to the dining room. And this place is already noisy because of the tile floors and high ceiling. Altogether, it made it all seem like a mess hall with this noise. When the server came and brought our dishes. My spouse had Lechon Asado, and I had their famous chicken with rice and black beans. The beans were in a small bowl on a saucer, and when I grabbed it to add the beans to my rice that was on another plate, that small bowl of black beans slipped out of my grip and half of it spilled on the table next to my plate. We didn't receive any bread, as all the other customers had on their tables. We had to ask another waiter for some bread. His demeanor wasn't any friendlier than the server we already ended up with. Well, at least he brought us the bread. When the waitress came by, again I showed her my mess and apologized, and I thought she would take care of it to help me clean up that mess. All she said was, it's okay and took off. I ended up with a huge mess of black beans next to my plate with chicken. My spouse and I couldn't believe that she couldn't care less to clean it up or at least give me something to clean it off. Nice. My chicken was very disappointing because it tasted overcooked and dry. So dry I had a hard time to cut it with their cheap knives. We finished our meal, and even trying to pay/asking for our check was an ordeal. She never bothered to come by. We ended up going to the front and paying there. The whole staff was unfriendly and anything but welcoming. I have never left a restaurant without tipping. This was my first.

Delicious food and wonderful hospitality! I was at Versailles for the first time time over the weekend and I had an lovely dining experience there. The restaurant has good offerings of popular Cuban dishes in vegetarian, chicken, seafood, and red meat. Serving portion is very generous and prices are very reasonable. For my entree, I had the shrimp with yellow rice simmered with a delicious sauce. My friends had the half grilled chicken and the chicken steaks and they had enough leftovers for a second meal. The restaurant was spacious and it felt like a diner. The wait service was great and our waiter was very prompt with our food and beverage. Our meal came to about $25-$30 per person with tips, which was an excellent value for the quality. Will return!

Was craving a Cubano and decided to finally try out Versailles. Versailles is a great restautrant with terrific food and a great vibe. The Decor is understated but this restaurant doesn't need any gilding because the food is phenomenal. EVerything I tried was fantastic. The garlic bread they dropped off was absolutely delicious, I almost want to go just for the bread! We tried a Chicken Samosa and a Beef Samosa and both came out piping hot and were delicious. I had the Cubano which was fantastic, Even just a quarter of it was enough to fill me up which is great cause then I had left overs for days. We also tried the Beef Stew which was fantastic. The beef and potatoes were fork tender and delicious. The waiter was brisk and efficient. I know some people would probably percieve this as a negative or as rude but the waiter checked on us frequently, made sure our drinks were always filled and checked that we were happy with our food. I don't need a waiter to kiss my ass, I need someone that is good at their job and our waiter was fantastic at theirs. I would highly recommend Versailles!!

While the West Valley location is small and hushed, with dark woods and muted lighting, the OG Mercado is the exact opposite: big and bright, with a bustling edge in the air as the staff navigates between eat-in diners, people ordering take-out, and still others buying items from their meat, pastry, and cheese displays. Yes, it's a real market and restaurant in one, and the energy is palpable as you browse the large menu, knowing everything is going to be very fresh and cooked to order. It's always difficult to decide between a Choripan or Steak Milanesa sandwich, but today I opted for the Choripan -- and while I deleted the lettuce & tomato that's usually on top, I added grilled onions. As I waited, I was brought fresh-baked Argentine baguette, which was crusty on the outside and pillowy on the inside, with just a touch of chew. The bread is served, of course, with Chimichurri, but also a tomato & olive oil salsa of sorts that had a light and veggie-forward flavor that offered a nice contrast to the earthy, herbaceousness of the chimi. I've learned the hard way to no overindulge on the bread and sauces, so I pulled back after one piece -- and luckily, my sandwich arrived soon after. This is a hefty Choripan, demonstrably larger than what I've had at the sister location. A very plump, butterflied and charred Argentine sausage resting on more of that bangin' baguette (the chewy center offering solid support for the fillings), and a generous helping of grilled onions. There was a patina of "grease" on the sandwich, but that's not a bad thing -- this slight oiliness was packed with flavor, adding tremendous Argentine Umami to the meal. The sausage was meaty and dense, with just a bit of fat and a very nice punch of herbs and spices, leading to an enjoyably potent flavor very specifically South American. The onions were excellently prepared: grilled to a medium firmness, the chef bringing out the natural sweetness while retaining just enough of the original, onion bite to add extra layers of taste. As if that wasn't enough, the onions were clearly cooked in a bit of spice, which gave them an extra kick of heat that blended very nicely with the spiciness of the chimichurri. This is just an excellent sandwich. Service is friendly, the entire restaurant is spic & span clean (including the restrooms), and the crowd seems genuinely happy to be where they are, eating what they're eating. The meats, cheeses, pastries, breads and empanadas on display in the market areas all look top notch and very appealing. I'll be shopping here for things to make at home, and I'll be coming back for another dine-in meal very soon. If you haven't been, you should stop by to try it for yourself. It's just so, so good!

Again I must try the lunch sandwiches one day. Dinner: I have tried spaghetti and steak which has all the right spices that does not resemble Italian. Sauce has a meaty beef stew thickness. I also like the steaks that are certified angus choice skirt steak, bone-in short rib flanks with homemade Argentine sausages. Buenos Aires burger is quite delish too unlike your normal American burger. It has chimichurri sauce inside. I must try the seafood soon because I see everyone else ordering it. Sugar time: Flan that is has vanilla custard with dulce de leche from Argentina. All desserts are good and I yes I have tried them all. Cakes super moist to flaky cakes and specials not on the menu. Improvements: alcoholic drinks would be so much more popular if they are perfect this department. It is def not my fav. I like a good mix from a bartender. The basic wine/beer is fine. Hidden gem with the friendliest staff. Muchas gracias Mercado Buenos Aires!

I have been following this truck on social media as they are in Rancho Cucamonga every now and…read morethen. I'm totally all for supporting small/family business and was very excited to try their food. I finally placed an order online for 2 entrees and a side. With tax AND tip the total came out close to $40 which I paid with my credit card. When I was filling out their online form, there was an option for Curbside Pick up which I checked. It asked how they would recognize us and I had to provide the Make and Model of our vehicle. In the notes section, I also requested they put our order in the trunk of our car when we arrived. On the day of: ======================= 12:51 PM - Received a text message that our order was ready for pick up. "Once outside, reply HERE to this message or call 323-507-6404 and we'll bring your order to you." 12:51 PM [Us] - "HERE" 12:51 PM [Them] - "Please wait. Someone will be out soon to bring your order to you." 12:52 PM [Us]- "Okay can you put it in the trunk of our car. I parked right in front of you." 1:11 PM [Us]- "Almost ready?" We called the 323 phone number twice and nobody picked up. 1:23 PM [Us] - "Sorry we have to leave, can you cancel our order?" Called the (323) number one more time; no answer. At this point it's 1:30 PM, there's a long line and a lot of people are standing around waiting for their food. My husband has medical issues so there was no way he was going to get out and he would not let me either. We ended up waiting for ~45 minutes before we left around 1:35 PM. I figured I would have to contact them for a refund. I emailed them about the cancellation and requested for a refund. During these times, my husband and I have been EXTRA patient and understanding with businesses so is why we even waited. While disappointed, my husband and I were discussing that we would give them another shot next time they came to our area. 2:45 PM - I get ANOTHER text message saying that our order is ready and to come pick up our food. I replied that we were there 2 hours ago and left already. I had asked to cancel our order. Then a woman calls my cellphone and angrily said that we did not follow instructions and were supposed to check in at the window. I don't understand what the point of "curbside" is then. Plus the text message I received said "Please wait. Someone will be out soon to bring your order to you." which never implied we had to "check in" with them at the window. While my husband was trying to respond to her, she talked over him yelling and hung up on us! We were both surprised at how that was handled. I don't understand why she was so angry when we did follow the instructions provided. Later, I received an email response for my refund request and it basically copied and pasted instructions about having to check in at the window, again making it as though we did something wrong. We WERE willing to give them another try, but after that experience, it totally changed our minds. This was our first time ordering with them so if there was some misunderstanding on either end, I get that, but I thought the instructions were clear that we were doing curbside and someone was going to bring our food to our car. Even if they had apologized for the mix up, we would have returned, but after getting yelled at and hung up on, wow... no thanks. (After reading some of the other reviews, it seems like even if you pre-pay for your food, they still ended up waiting and some have experienced the same customer service as us.)

L.A's only Puerto Rican food truck is a must try. The menu has a lot of choices, even vegan options. The photos are clear and really helpful. The truck is decorated well. I love their logo. Very friendly staff and prompt service, and very reasonable prices. Everything looks great and I can't wait to try it all. Tonight I tried the Grilled Cheese Tostones. Amazing combination of flavors and textures!! The Tostones are so crunchy, and the cheese is the perfect filling, plus the toppings are wonderful too. I had never had Tostones before and I am hooked. They are gluten free too. This is my favorite food truck.

My steak came well done looking like a flat steak tasting blah and a lot of fat. I had never seen a thin looking ribeye in my life. And she said oh I brought you the 8 ounce, which we didn't even discussed. Nasty steak, poor quality meat. She did apologize but irrelevant when I had to eat that disgusting steak. Been there done that!! Oh and I went to wash my hands and the bathroom said a lot right from the start. There's a sink and next to the sink is a hole to the floor. Weird...... I didn't waste my time taking pictures of this dump.
