Made a last minute decision for dinner here a few nights ago. Walked in and placed our order. About 15 minutes later it was ready to go. We got a small cheese pizza (12") and a small tuna sub, plain. I'm not going to sugar coat it - the sub was awful. The tuna was warm and tasted like there was celery and/or onions mixed in, but not in a good way, I couldn't even finish half of it. (minus one star) The pizza however was really delicious, italian pizza at it's best. We would certainly get that again. Don't judge a book by its cover. When we were visiting the area for a cabin hiking adventure, we came in town for food. We wanted pizza! We drove by Via Roma and the outside appearance was not anything like the inside. The inside decor was very well put together. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. The outside appearance kinda makes it look like not a place to sit down and have a meal but it worked out and they had plenty of room. We really enjoyed it. read more

Tried this place on Monday 10/24/2016 and it was unbelievably good! We were staying at Adventure Suites and wanted to order in so we decided to try this place and boy was it worth every penny... We ordered a large cheese pizza and a steak and cheese and both came out phenomenal... But that steak and cheese is definitely something that is worth driving for LOL... The meat was very tender , the sub roll was extra fresh and everything was just perfect about it... The only reason I gave this four stars and not five is because the delivery girl forgot to bring our sodas... We were quoted an hour, after 90 minutes we were worried it wasn't coming and called, only to get an answering machine. This restaurant has an interesting business model You order at the cashier at the front and then can go sit down, vs having a server come take your order. But with their model you expect a super casual, more 'cheap' pizzeria, but what you get is a much more upscale, cozy atmosphere. There is interesting, tasteful artwork throughout. The tables have a nice industrial, chic feel. There is a cool in-wall gas fireplace. There are decorative knick-backs. Cute, cool wall art lining the hall the bathroom. A cute little couch in the entrance area next to the cashier. My enormous Greek salad w grilled chicken was amazing. It didn't really look like much when the kitchen staff came to deliver my salad in it's clear plastic carry out container, but the dressing was awesome, and the chicken was some of the best succulent chicken EVER. And then the guy brought out some fresh, warm, soft pita bread triangles. I loved the fresh yellow (banana?) peppers that came with my salad. I ate my entire salad and was trying to scrape out the last bits of lettuce even though we were in a rush to get home. Went here 3 weeks ago while driving home from a backpacking trip in the White Mountains. I ordered the falafel plate with a side of tzatziki sauce. I received 3 essentially raw falafel on a bed of meager wilted lettuce. That would've been bad enough, but I was surprised when I pulled out the container of sauce and it was PIPING hot. Tzatziki is meant to be a cool cucumber and yogurt sauce. Upon opening it, I realized it was hot ranch dressing. Thinking there was surely just some mix up, I went back inside to get the correct sauce. The man behind the counter was pretty hostile and argued with me saying it was, in fact, tzatziki (it wasn't) and that it was hot because he had "just made it". Nope. He served me raw falafel and microwaved ranch dressing. Do yourself a favor - avoid this place. read more

We are visiting North Conway on our yearly vacation. After spending the day at a local amusement park, we opted for a quick dinner. We ordered 3 large pizzas. We ordered a Chicken, bacon, garlic pizza, a Quattro formaggio, and a margarita. All three were absolutely terrible. The amount of crust to actual toppings was about 3 inches. 3 inches of dry, over cooked, crust resembling a saltine cracker. The margarita was all sauce, 5 half dollar sized slices of mozzarella and it was completely missing the basil. The Quattro formaggio was more along the lines of a duo formaggio and the chicken, bacon, garlic was drier than sawdust. The worst part, it cost $65 for terrible food!!! I am only giving them one star because we have to. We ordered Pizza and Fries as a delivery order. It took over an hour to get to our home which is only five minutes down the road; when the order taker told us it would be thirty minutes. When we called to check and see where our order was they yelled at us for calling back and that they would be there soon. When they arrived the pizza was cold, soggy and full of hair. The fries were uneatable and cold. The delivery driver whom we know to be the owner was very rude and was very unapologetic. When we called back about the horrible food they yelled and said that they would come and get it. No refund, no replacement. All in all we didn't have them come get it and did not eat the pizza; we ordered from Elvio's down the street. Last year I had a pleasant experience here and the pizza wasn't the BEST, but I was satisfied enough that I returned this year. I am so disappointed that I chose to return... 1. The website does not function as it should. Although online ordering is supposed to be possible, I ran into major glitches and was unable to do so. 2. I made 5 attempts to call and place an order and received a very strange voice mail system that was for a mailbox that was full. Why I continued to attempt at calling I don't know, but I finally got an answer. The woman was very sweet and took my order for pickup. 3. I arrived in 20 minutes to pick up the pizza I ordered and it was not ready - when the employee at the counter asked what order I was waiting for and I am gave him my name, he did not know the order so I repeated it and waited another 15-20 minutes. 4. After spending $20 on a "specialty" 16 inch pizza that took over 40 minutes to make, I arrived back at my destination to find a pizza with almost NO sauce or cheese, HUGE air bubbles taking up half of the pizza, and it just lacked flavor overall...it literally seemed like a joke! I honestly can't believe that a place doing business so poorly is able to stay open. I visit the area regularly, but I will not be visiting this establishment again! read more

The atmosphere of the place is great. They tables are comfy and the staff is super nice. Unfortunately the food is not as good. The pizza was pretty plain almost tasteless. But it was edible. However I was disappointed because I ordered pineapple on half and it was more like on 1/4 of the pizza. We had a 12" pie which was 8 slices. 2 slices were covered in pineapple while 2 slices had 1 piece of pineapple on them and the other 4 slices were cheese. Considering the topping was $1 I was disappointed. Also the topping seemed to just be thrown on there on one piece the pineapple was on the crust. Delicious!! My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick bite to eat before running errands and decided to stop here because we had heard that they had good food. We were not disappointed! My boyfriend got the steak bomb which he loved. The bread was really good. I got the lamb gyro and was pleased that it was almost as good as gyros I had while living overseas. Three times I've been there The first time was a Friday night where they got so overwhelmed He's answering the phone oh "you ordering pizza pizza is 45 minutes I will wait can't do it.". People waiting for 45 minutes for the food are over. Second time same thing. Last night Tuesday March 16th was the third and last time we go in there with them running it. I walk in there's one lady waiting for her take out he's talking to her disappears. For over 5 minutes he's walking arounddoing things and stapling take out bags and not even paying attention to how many people have come inside five more people come. Another minute or two go by before he comes to the counter he asked who's next I step forward cuz the lady he already spoke to I go I am I'm going to order he "You're ordering for here now who's here for takeout can I get who's next for takeout". I was so mad I waved my wife at the table instead of let's get out of here this guy's rude ignorant and we're never coming back so I was over six seven minutes before anyone was spoken to. Had a "Meat Lover's" pizza here today. Even my sister said "Put in a review on Yelp! That's how good the pizza is. The place is BYOB, but the man at the counter told us where we could buy a cold beer nearby. Service was friendly; we hesitated between a 12" or a 16": he went in the back and showed us the sizes of the plates and recommended that we get the 12" pizza, which is just the right size for two hungry people. I love this place, we make it a stop every time we come through North Conway. We like to eat healthy so we really enjoy the fresh, homemade hummus with a crisp Greek salad, and our kids love the pizza.. The BYOB option makes it fun and easy to enjoy a nice pizza dinner out without breaking the bank. The taziki was tasty, and I like the option of the freshly made pita (worth the small extra charge). What I also appreciate is that the owners care about serving good food, and they're very friendly. It's always a good sign when they ask, "do you like it?" or "would you like to try this?" I work not too far from Via Roma so sometimes my co workers and I will order some food and have it delivered to work. They are always so nice and deliver it quite quickly. Their pizza is okay it's not really my favorite but it's good. Their Italian sub is really good but the one I got didn't have enough oil and vinegar on it and the meatball sub is pretty good as well!
