Those who balk at the giant Elvis on the door, and those who realize that there are much weirder and worse things than Elvis to be into. Look-- no one is coming here for buche and cabeza. (And if you're disappointed by the lack of buche and cabeza, there are plenty of other places in Gilroy that you can find it.) We're coming here because we want to hand you money to put ground beef in a crispy taco shell. This concept is scoffed at by many Mexican restaurants-- but not Victoria's. The service is kind, friendly, and quick. My crispy ground beef tacos came out quickly, and the plate had very generous portions of rice and beans (the red salsa poured on the rice was delicious). My only complaint is that it looks like everything on the menu somewhat recently went up $2-3 in price, making my taco plate $19.99 But with the way gas prices are these days, I'm pretty desensitized to being price-gouged, especially if I'm getting what I want and it's good. I am now back in my room at the Hilton Garden Inn wearing my size 2XL moo-moo and I plan on being asleep by 7:30pm. Thank you, Victoria's! read more

Coming from South San Jose my friend and I decided to try this restaurant. When we called to see if they had Menudo they had me at Hello. Very kind and warm customer Service. July 1, 2025 our family of 8 made a reservation and went for dinner. Lots of close by parking. We entered and our table was ready. Wonderful place. My mom, and her mom, have been coming here for years. It's wonderful with a wonderful atmosphere, the bosses are nice, and provide great service, the inside, and outside of the location is great. My family has been coming to Victoria's for quite some time (upwards of 20 years perhaps, since before they moved to this current location.) We have always been fans, but before this year I personally hadn't been back for years. I live out of town, but Victoria's has become our new favorite spot when I come to Gilroy to visit. The decor and ambiance is nice. Quaint, located in the strip mall near Nob Hill. They tend to decorate for the different holidays, and it is very cute and fun. The service is always quick and eager to provide. Reasonably priced as well. I've tried the Chicken Enchiladas, the Vegetarian Wet Burrito with Green Salsa, and the Grilled Chicken Salad. They were all good and I would absolutely order them again. I personally do not eat beef or pork but I would imagine their carne asada is probably pretty great here too. There are SO many options for Mexican food in Gilroy, and lots of them are great. What sets this place apart is that it is more of an actual sit down restaurant, rather than an order at the counter type of place. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

ELVIS LIVES! I googled "best burrito in Gilroy" and this place came up. No Suspicious Minds here so I gave it a shot and I Can't Help Falling in Love with the place. Super nice workers (including a personable "Elvis" performer named Donald). The excellent carnitas burrito was full of big, non-fatty pieces of meat (almost Too Much), and I Love Me Tender meat but the owner said she'd make them a little crispy for me like I asked. She's no Hard-Headed Woman. And the frozen margarita was great- no ice cream headache (only Fools Rush In). I can't wait to come back. This restaurant is very popular and that's a good thing. The food is tasty,(so I'm told) I've only ordered their Menudo, and that's all I ever order when I dine in or take out. In a town with so many Mexican restaurants, it's hard to find one that is consistently good every time. Im most restaurants that offer menudo, you will not get "Patas" in the soup. What are patas you ask? Depending on who's making the menudo using patas, you either get pigs feet or cows foot/hoof. I've had menudo both ways, and growing up my family always used pigs feet in their menudo. Victorias uses the pigs feet, which In my opinion gives the menudo a better taste than plain menudo. Get there early as the do sell out sometimes. The only drawback from this place is they don't open on Sundays, so order plenty on Saturday for the next day! read more

For two years because of Covid I have been waiting to go back to Victorias and have one of their chili rellenos . They are a bite of foodie heaven. I love chili rellenos and I live out of state now. So I have tried ordering them elsewhere. But I always have to come home and have one from Victoria's. You can taste the chili the cheese is creamy and melted. The sauce adds flavor without overpowering the flavor of the green chili. It all blends to make a perfect bite. I usually don't give bad reviews I went here a couple days ago since I really to try the food I was struggling opening the door. A lady was making jesters and I couldn't quite understand it. And when she opened the she said "Que estas buscando aqui" which in Spanish mean what are you looking for with rudeness and with an attitude like if was going to do something bad. A said to her in Spanish asi usted me responde o me habla. Which is that how you talk to me or respond to me. She also assumed I didnt speak english. We ate here from out of town, I had the steak fajitas which was full of grit and very poorly chosen steak and very untasteful. The waitress was terribly rude, condescending and confrontational. The service was terrible and not once refilled our water or chips and salsa. We had to ask several time to no avail.... Avoid if a all possible....
