Came here to sit at the pool via Resortpass (a total dud since the sun wasn't being nice - not Videre's fault) Arrived here around 2pm on a Sunday and sat at one of the lounge chairs near the pool. The staff here are super sweet and helpful! So many points for customer service. I had a few mocktails from their low and no alcohol section. Totally great! I love when places have options for those who don't drink (or in my case, didn't feel like it that day). For food, I got the modern caesar + the cinnamon roll. I'm a huge fan of a nice salad and this one was super tasty! The dressing was perfect and who doesn't love a nice crispy crouton and a giant pile of parmesan? Nice little lunch at Videre. I'm gutted the sun wasnt cooperating this day, but I think if i head over earlier in the day, this will be such a nice and inviting spot.

Atop the Kimpton on Wilshire is a jewel Videre is phenomenal rooftop and understated experience with a great wow factor. It overlooks to the north the entire city and its an oasis of peace in the skies. Avery was our server and was kind and always attentive to our leisurely brunch needs. The breakfast sandwich I recommend with several glasses of champagne. There is also a neighborhood card that one can obtain for those of us locals who love to frequent beautiful spaces like these. Thank you, Avery!

This place surprised me so much. I genuinely love the vibe here. It is so cute and so comfortable when you first walk in the lobby staff will give you a key so that way you could use the elevator just a little sidenote the hotel lobby smells delightful. I don't know what it is but it smells so nice. Anyway you go to the rooftop and everyone is really accommodating there. My friends and I we were just there to pass some time so we all just got mocktails. One of my friends got wine. The mocktails were delicious. Probably one of the best mocktails I've ever had. It wasn't something that was on the menu. We just told them to make something and it was so delicious super worth it. We actually wish we could've stayed longer, but we had dinner reservations. Needless to say I would definitely come back and probably stay for a little bit longer because we really enjoyed it. I wish I got more pictures of the sort of covered area as well because it's super cute. I only have pictures with myself in it and I'd rather just keep it generic without me, but it's super duper nice and I would highly recommend it and I think for summer events too this is probably a really happening place.

Had this on my list of places to try, and happened to be in the area, so made a quick reservation for brunch and headed over. Located on the roof of the Kimpton hotel Wilshire, Videre has views of Beverly Hills from tables and couches. We got to the top and wasn't sure it was open as there wasn't anyone anywhere. Found a couple people doing some prep work and they said sure wherever we wanted. So we say where we could have a nice view of everything. Started with cocktails, the Spring Fling and a Mai Tai. The Fling was tasty, citrus forward but still believed. The Mai Tai also pretty good, no complaints. For food, we first had the seared prawns, which were very good, paired with a almond hummus and mint pesto. Never thought about pairing pesto with prawns but it worked. For entrees, we wanted the crab benedict but it was not available, unfortunately, so we did a staff and eggs and the miracle mile burger. The steak was ok, in a chimichurri sauce, cooked medium. Morning I would remember in the future. The other, in the other hand, was a double smash patty on japanese milk bun, caramelized onions, cheddar and datil pepper aioli. Onions could have been a little more caramelized but it was pretty tasty either way. Videre may not have hit on everything, but the burger and prawns were delightful, and the drinks were worth it. The steak and eggs, maybe get the steak medium rare if you really want that, or try the crab benedict, if available, and let us know how it is.

Wow, great view from the rooftop restaurant!

Stopped by here hoping for dinner after a local show was over. It's a beautiful rooftop bar with a very small and limited menu. For being a Saturday night in LA we expected it to be busier (we live in OC) but it was really quiet. We got there at 8:40pm and immediately they told us we have 5 minutes to place the order because kitchen is closing right after. We're like Wow, like give us a minute but I guess they're not used to staying open a minute past. We ordered the scallops skewers and prawn skewer, a miso Cesar Salad (no croutons, just lettuce) along with half a chicken plate. For the price of those skewers we didn't anticipate still being hungry. Of course kitchen was closed now and we couldn't order more. Since we were enjoying the conversation it must've been closing time because our waitress came over and said they're closed now... in other words you don't have to go home but you can't stay here. So we hastily said our goodbye's downstairs with our friends and since we were still hungry we made our way to a local ihops by our house that was open late. A little disappointed in the experience, especially since it was my birthday night.

Went to Videre for a Sunday brunch with the family and had a great time, nice view overlooking the HOLLYWOOD sign while lounging/ seated next to the pool. Great food and overall a great atmosphere and experience. Will definitely be back.

Dinner at the Videre Rooftop Restaurant and Bar was very disappointing, bland, and overpriced. We had made online reservations through the OpenTable link on their website. This made it easy to arrive, check in, and be seated promptly. A large booth was reserved for our party of two overlooking all of West Hollywood and Hollywood. I had requested the All Day menu on our reservation with plans to order the Videre Fried Chicken Sandwich with Fries. I was messaged an hour before our reservation stating the All Day menu is not offered after 5:00 pm. This is not advertised online, on the menu page of their website, or anywhere on the pdf All Day menu. It seems odd the All Day menu is advertised all over their website but is not offered all day. If we'd have known this, or were notified earlier, we would not have booked a reservation, as the entrees offered at Diner did not include many options for me, as I do not eat seafood or beef. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately in a spacious booth overlooking Los Angeles and even the Hollywood sign. The host placed menus on our tables and asked if we would like some waters while we wait for our server-- casually offering spring, sparkling or tap. Before we had a chance to look at the menu or review their beverage options, we were brought two large glass bottles of Mountain Valley water-- and later discovered we were charged $20 for them. The way this was presented felt misleading, as if it were a courtesy rather than a purchase, especially since the host never came back by our table. This move felt more of a calculated cash grab, than sincere hospitality. I decided to order the Roasted Half Chicken. I wanted just fries, but they were unable to substitute. Instead, I opted for the corn polenta, pickled turnips, and pepita salsa on a completely separate plate not touching my main entree and paid $9 to add fries. Our actual server was very friendly, and I appreciate her understanding in my special food requests. The amount of food that arrived was impressive. I received half a rotisserie chicken and a large bowl of french fries. However, the actual chicken itself was very bland, dry, and unseasoned. The meat was a little tough. The $6 Lemon Pepper Rotisserie chicken from Walmart is much more flavorful, as I am not sure this dish even had salt or pepper added. I tried to flag down a server for table seasonings (salt and pepper), however, once our food was brought out, nobody came by our table to check on us. The fries, on the other hand, tasted very good! Overall, for an entree of $38 + $9 for fries, I felt the food fell a little flat. Ultimately, this rooftop restaurant and bar falls a little short if you are making plans to eat; however, if you are coming merely for the rooftop views, you will be pleased. The skyline of WeHo, clean modern furniture, boho decor accents, and retro pool deck are all pleasing. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. This ended up being our most expensive ticket for the week, ringing up at $133.02 for two-- with no alcohol. They also include a 20% gratuity to your bill, costing us $20.20. Our server was friendly, however, this was a bit of an overreach as once our food was brought out, we were never checked on, brought salt/pepper, or offered refills. It was a fun experience with great views, but the food and costs were lacking. With its stunning views and ambiance, I might recommend that Videre is best for cocktails and small bites at sunset, rather than a full entree for dinner.

Had some time to kill in the area... found this rooftop bar. Wasn't expecting these craft cocktails and delicious and elevated food! I love to be pleasantly surprised. Top it off with a professional and friendly bartender and you have Videre. I 100% recommend you check it out if you are in the area. There was a gorgeous sunset view too!

If you've been looking for the perfect summer rooftop pool bar, @viderela at @hotelwilshire is definitely my pick! This brand new rooftop restaurant features a pristine pool, plenty of cabana-style seating, and unparalleled 360 views of the LA skyline (including the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory). Beyond the views, their menu specializes in delicious and well-executed Californian style cuisine, as well as uniquely crafted cocktails such as these espresso martinis, which feature notes of Parmesan and orange creamsicle. I came here for their brunch, but I'll definitely be back at night to check out their dinner time menu and nighttime views. Definitely check out this hidden gem before all of IG/TikTok finds out about this beautiful rooftop oasis! Featured here: steak mash * seared prawns * French toast Strauss organic yogurt parfait miracle mile burger * Super espresso martini bros, Coffee & dreamsicle

We came here for Dine LA, but was pretty disappointed. It had rained that day so we were seated inside, but this restaurant really depends on their outdoor seating area. The inside lacked ambiance. We had to request the Dine LA menu. They did not offer and it was not advertised. For our appetizers, I had the seared prawns and my bf had the burrata. Both were good and the burrata was served with really crusty bread. The appetizer gave us high homes for the main. I chose the Maine scallop & trumpet mushroom skewer and my bf had the chicken skewer. The scallop was quartered and I believe there was only one mushroom also just cut up. I thought it was only ok, the sauce did not really complement the skewer and the scallop was too fishy (possibly old?). On the normal menu, this skewer is $28! For ONE skewer and it was not even good! My bf said his chicken skewer was so dry, it was hard to swallow it down. For dessert, I had 2 cookies, which were good but I'm not sure if they were made in-house. My partner had the chocolate pot de crem which he said was fine. Overall, not worth the price. Maybe if we got the outdoor dining experience..

Went back for dinner and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. Usually, places that have a nice view don't always have the best food, but boy were we happy we had dinner here. We ordered the crispy potatoes (smashed fingerling potatoes with aioli sauce), the burger with side salad and the saffron pasta (added chicken) - ALL 3 items were absolutely delicious and more than enough to share between two people. We went around 6:30 pm and it was such a beautiful summer night. Their view and decor is gorgeous.

The ambiance requires a visit. The outdoor space is banging and there is a small inside bar area that is also sophisticated and lovely The service is excellent and as the afternoon turns into evening more help shows up. We made an early reservation so when we arrived it seemed the bartender was handling all the things and then some. Staff were accommodating and polite, and helpful when we asked for suggestions. They seem to know the menu very well. So here is the one thing I would mention as a negative; the menus are a bit confusing. There is a pre fixed menu that ends at 3pm. There is a drinks hour menu, which we never did see despite that being the time we arrived? We stayed forever and later asked to see deserts and then found an entire dinner menu. ? ‍ We had a salad with steak added and the chicken sandwich as well as truffle fries. Everything was delicious my friend ordered a chocolate desert with berries that was epic! Not sure what it's called but I'd get it next time I'm back for sure Cocktails were impressive! Such a great experience on a Friday! There was also a party that seemed to be for a wedding going on as we left. Everyone was dressed so cute and I saw trays of appetizers being brought around so great spot to host a little intimate party by the pool

It's been quite a few years since I've been here, and I've been missing out. It's definitely improved for the better. Service was excellent (thanks Melissa!), vibe was chill, drinks were spectacular, AND they appreciate local customers. Highly recommend, and this may become my new go-to neighborhood spot! Cheers!

We started with the farmhouse beets, a delicious balance of beets, arugula and dressing topped with candied pecans. The portion was more than enough so we boxed some up to leave room for the main course. Our mains were the wagyu beef stroganoff and the trout filet with blistered green beans. The stroganoff and pappardelle arrived in its own covered dish, so hot it sat on a wood base. While it was a good comfort food dish I thought the horse radish was a little too forward for my taste. It was my companion's entree and she really enjoyed it and there was enough to take home. I had the trout filet with its crispy pepita topping served with blistered green beans. Very happy with my choice and it was also a generous portion. Dessert was the yuzu olive oil cake for my friend and butterscotch budino for me. I loved the balance of butterscotch, crème fraiche, salt and pecans. And the pecan cookie was a great accompaniment. She enjoyed her selection as well. Corkage fee is $20. I met Dominique many years ago working at a L.A. based country club and fond her to be very gracious and thoughtful. So happy to see that she has fully come into her own. It's located in the Christian Dior atelier on Rodeo drive so good luck finding parking other than valet. In any event the entrance is beautiful and when you arrive via elevator you are treated to a beautiful open air concept carefully curated with both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant was packed: side note that throughout our two foray of DineLA fine dining we were amazed by the number of Asian tourists at these restaurants. At M. Dior almost EVERY table was occupied by Asian tourists. Just an observation and not a racial profiling. Our server was very engaging and we chose the $95 three course prix fixe menu and I opted for the $75 wine pairing (which was not particularly memorable). We started with an amuse bouche of Tomato Water Meringue and sour dough bread. The amuse was fine but the bread and butter (with tiny violet pedals sprinkled on the butter) was amazing: so much so that we asked for a second helping. The first course was a tomato Rosette and a Rockfish Tartare. The tomato rosette was delicate, very flavorful and beautifully prepared (whipped feta and nectarine "sambal"). The rockfish tartare was good but, generally speaking (and this was the second time in a week that we experienced a rockfish preparation) the fish is rather tasteless. with grapes, carrot and shallot XO. But the star of the night were the entrees: Potato Agnolotti and Beef Cheek. The Potato Agnolotti which appeared like a version of gnocchi, came in a lovely mussel sauce. The beef cheek was slow roasted for 50 hours and served with a fish sauce caramel (Umami?), broccolini and bone marrow. It too was fabulous. Dessert consisted of a chocolate cannage, a pillow-like presentation that was both delicate and rich, on a bed of cherry confiture. The strawberry sorbet was refreshing served with St. Germain and strawberry jus. Truly a memorable evening. One other side note: the portions were rather small but we attributed that to the fact that it was a tasting menu. We did see some a la carte dishes go by that looked more substantial.

I'm excited to report that it lives up to the hype and is very worth the splurge! Valet parking is $25 for the first four hours, just so you know. (And all the guys that park the cars are hot and built like brick houses!) Worthy investment. Granted, the Dine LA menu is priced at $95 per person (before taxes, tip and the 4% health charge), however the fascinating flavors and the advanced cooking techniques used to produce them justify the charge. While we ordered the Dine LA menu, we had to ask permission from the chef to order from the à la carte menu (to satisfy our curiosity). We were thankfully accommodated. The tuna violet bouquet was as delicious as it was beautiful. I thought it was going to taste like your typical tuna tartare, but it didn't. It was elevated in a way I can't even explain. The portion is tiny - just enough for one person but it's one of those dishes you won't ever forget. The same went for the black truffle agnolotti. So unique. It had all sorts of textures and flavors dancing on the tongue - crunchiness, then softness (the pasta) and then umami from the mushroom broth. The broth is clarified with parmesan! How does one even do that? I couldn't get enough of it. I slurped every bit and didn't care. Chef Crenn's expertise is flexed all throughout the meal. They apparently braise the beef for over 50 hours and while they explained more of it I couldn't pay attention because the mushroom maitake purée distracted me. It was just out of this world. A little salty but I loved it. Hubby ordered the potato agnolotti which had a delicious creamy sauce - well-balanced. Ugh so good. The chocolate cannage was filled with a thick mousse and a tart cherry compote that cut through all that richness. I ate this very slowly because I didn't want the meal to end. The other dessert option was just ok in my opinion - a small strawberry sorbet. This entire meal was a sensory delight from start to finish. Every single thing was gorgeous and delicious and aromatic. It wasn't just the food that was so pleasing to behold, but also the chairs, the silverware, dishware and every single thing you could see. Christian Dior earned my respect all over again. The whole dining concept was thoughtfully curated and masterfully executed. It's one of my new favorite restaurants for sure! And I can't wait to return.

Came here for a second time recently! A lovely place to come for breakfast. Everything is always…read moreamazing here. As for parking, I normally do street parking a couple blocks away. I personally don't mind the walk. My only complaint is that I had no idea that dogs were allowed in this restaurant. There was a couple sitting next to me with a small dog that kept staring at me eat the entire time. It made me uncomfortable and a bit sad but it was tolerable. Everything was fine until the dog got on top of the table and I immediately became disgusted. Dogs are lovely but shouldn't be allowed inside the restaurant for this very reason. Let this be a reminder to always ask (nicely) if your table can be cleaned before you enjoy your meal!

From the moment we…read morearrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, and the service was exceptional throughout the entire evening. The food was absolutely stellar. My husband and I loved everything about our meal, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and memorable. The bluefin tuna toast was a standout, beautifully presented with a delicious smoky flavor and kaluga caviar. The hamachi crudo brought a fresh brightness to the meal and was the perfect contrast to some of the richer dishes. The tableside Dover sole was an experience in itself, and the lobster campanelle had such unique and wonderful flavors. Everything was outstanding, but what made the evening especially memorable was the combination of exceptional food, impeccable service, and the warm atmosphere. République made my birthday feel truly special. We had an incredible evening and can't wait to return!

Really enjoyed this brunch restaurant. Stopped by to kill time before LACMA opened and it was the…read moreright choice. Cute little hole in the wall. Has limited seating inside and out so get there early if you can! I love the decor with the butterflies on the wall and they are playing chill jams. They have a cute chalkboard off the menu and a cool photo wall is celebrities who have visited. My fiancé and I tried the Huevos Rancheros plate, Peaches and Cream Waffle, and the Thai Style Fried Chicken plate. Along with their two drinks; Sunset Refresher & Blueberry Vanilla Cold Foam Matcha. Huevos Rancheros were a hit. To be honest I thought the dish to be a small serving at first. But it's actually a good portion. You get three tostadas stacked and layered with black beans and mozzarella and topped off with over easy eggs and salsa. I loved how the corn tortillas maintained their crunch and never got soggy. The habanero salsa that it came had a good KICK. Peaches and Cream waffle was good as well. It is seasonal so we jumped on the opportunity. Waffle was thick and fluffy that came with powdered sugar and cinnamon. The peaches were also thick and the sauce it came was light and sweet. Can never go wrong with ice cream and waffles. The Thai Style chicken was pleasant surprise. Before we ate the chicken, I tried a piece of the breading and I knew it was gonna be a good one. Lots of flavor from the tom yum seasoning and the chicken was a decent size. It's not spicy and comes with a sweet sauce to dip in. The bell peppers balanced out this dish. I was a fan of the sunset refresher. It's a mix of hibiscus, pineapple and lemonade. It's more tart than sweet but refreshing. The blueberry cold foam iced matcha was solid. Not too sweet and properly balance. Overall a good brunch spot with a large menu guaranteed to have you come back to try other things. A little pricey.

The dish came with soft whipped butter, sweet spicy chili sauce, and maple syrup on the side. We had to wait around 10-20 minutes to get seated but the servers were super attentive. The inside was much more boho and casual than I expected with some fake flowers on the wall and a fish aquarium. I wanna come back to try the Thai omelette and the waffle and lox!
