I met with the owner not 10 minutes ago. The food is fantastic and so is their service. The owner is very accommodating as I called in an order and once I got there decided to add on to the order. He talked to me and gave me something to drink while I waited. Very nice man. The food is not only presented well, but it both tastes and smells fantastic. I have eaten Pho all over LA and also in Vietnam during a visit. I like to think that I can tell good Pho from bad. Now, I'm not Vietnamese and cannot speak to the authenticity but only on whether I enjoy it. I have to say. I was very disappointed just now. The broth was very salty and almost clear. The meat was chewy and there were barely any noodles in my order. I guess a large order just means that you get more broth. The egg rolls must have been store bought because they were cold in the middle and hot on the outside with ZERO flavor. Relative to my last review of this establishment, I find it has recently come under new ownership/management. Not only has the service taken a dramatic 180 degrees but the Pho and other delicacies offered on the present menu are absolutely delicious with special emphasis on their "Crispy Noodle" plate. We've patronized many Pho restaurants in the past and can honestly say that this one (to date) rates #1 in our book. Now, the last owner's Pho and related offerings were good but in comparison.... no comparison. Very disappoint! I went this place to eat pho couple week ago. The pho is horrible, the broth is salty and doesn't have the smell of pho (spices). They gave little bit of meat and rotten basil. Because no one up here to compete with Vietnamese noodles, if there restaurant open in Santa Ana. This restaurant will not survive in business. read more

The few dishes I got were ok for the area. One thing to note is that they frequently tell us they don't have the items we order. After a while it became obvious to me that their menu is not accurate, it makes it look like they have many offerings but very often they don't have many of the items. Let me preface this review first by saying that I am a foodie! I lived in the Alhambra-San Gabriel-Monterey Park-Pasadena area for over 20 years and I was also close to Chinatown and would go to Little Tokyo from time to time... The Garden Grove area has a lot of good Asian restaurants too! So I was used to eating Asian food to my heart's delight! I move to Palmdale about a year-and-a-half ago and unfortunately I still have to go back to my old stomping grounds to get good food. A couple days ago I stumbled upon this place here on YELP. I didn't actually read any reviews, I just looked at the menu someone posted and thought okay, I'll give it a try. Drove up and it had a sign "grand opening", so I thought okay.. okay.. let's do this! Went inside, looked at the menu and placed my order to go. I ordered the vermicelli with chicken and it comes with an egg roll. Got home and I rather enjoyed it! The serving size didn't look like a lot because it came in a container with different compartments and I usually get it all in a bowl. So I actually put it in a BIG bowl and it was the size you normally get. I wasn't disappointed. It was really good! I'm definitely going back! I like mint, but they only had basil leaves, which was fine. I had to ask for it, so I don't know if they forgot to put it with the meal or they don't normally provide it. Also, I didn't get her name, but the lady who took my order was SUPER NICE and offered me water while I waited for my food. Going back for sure and I'll be trying other items on the menu! read more

The service isn't the best. This is my first time here and I came in at 11:00 and they've taken too long to give me my spring rolls. Not only that she charged me for extra spring rolls when i only wanted one order but I didn't mention it cause whatever. She keeps talking on the phone so she didn't really understand me when i said no shrimp in the spring rolls. It seems as the cook keeps asking her questions as if they're confused on my order so i believe that it will be wrong read more

If i could i would put negative stars. Don't get me wrong, food was good, but when paying I mistakenly did not write $0 tip on receipt (i left cash tip on table) and days later after looking at my card statement i noticed a larger amount than that on my receipt. This is the best pho in town. I've had pho from many other places and nothing compares. The waitress is so sweet and knows my order. She is always happy and attentive, great service and the food always comes fast and tastes amazing. I'm not from Palmdale. But for my business I service all of Southern California and I can be in Palmdale one day and Moreno Valley the next. I want to say that this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants that I've been to. I say this not only because of the delicious food but also the very cool, peaceful environment. It's hot outside over here in Palmdale but it's very cool inside this restaurant. The environment is very calming with nice classical music playing very low and cooling breeze of fans inside as you enjoy your delicious lunch be it hot or cold. I found it very relaxing and decompressing as I enjoyed my meal here after a long work day and drive. I had the Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) with a side of rare steak and Vietnamese egg rolls. Everything was very cleanly, and freshly served. Make sure before you add any additional sauces inside of your soup to try the broth first, it's very delicious by itself. I eat here often. I always order the #20 house specialty Pho, and the #5 Spring Rolls. The Pho is hot, savory, and delicious! The best in the AV in my opinion. I always put in all of the sprouts, basil, and jalapeno peppers. When I squish in the limes, it makes it all taste excellent. Fantastic noodles and meats in this order. By the time I get near the bottom, the jalapenos dominate and it is a very hot and spicy experience, and I can't get enough. The spring rolls are fresh and excellent. Ask for an additional tub of peanut sauce for the spring rolls. I love these guys! They are very friendly and courteous. The food is priced very reasonably. j1 read more
